Chapter 25: Hunter vs Hunted part 3.
(Forest of Death)
Naruto and Izanami continued their deadly combat. As Izanami lunged and slashed her black wrist blades at Naruto who countered it with his Wrist scythe then moved away and evades her tail.
Izanami moved faster though she was determined to kill Naruto who killed her child.
Naruto blocked her attacks and moves with his wrist scythe as he pushed her back and delivered a swift axe kick to her head and then lunged up forward at her punching her in the gut then upper cutting her causing her to stagger.
She directed her tail at his legs but he backflipped and landed but moved quick again when she sprayed Hot Steaming Acid from be tip of her tail.
Naruto lashed his Plasma Rod Whip at her as Izanami ducked and weaved swiftly as she became more agile and swift. Izanami spat a stream of hot Acid from her mouth at Naruto who avoided it in good reaction as the acid hit the tree melting it.
Izanami let out a primal hiss-like screech while Naruto bellowed out a guttural roar at her.
Izanami and him both lunged at each other grappling each other glaring at each other with fury.
Naruto wasted no time in head-butting her and then brought up his wrist scythe coating it in plasma and slashed across Izanami's chest making her screech in pain. As Naruto slashed at her again causing her to screech more in pain as her acidic blood splashed.
Naruto stepped back and coated plasma rod whip in primordial plasma and would lash it at Izanami 4 times causing her to stumble and hiss in pain as she snarled up at him.
Naruto would then lash his plasma rod whip again this time he's going to bisect her in two with it. She jumped over him to avoid that hit. He quickly turned around and looked ready to fire his plasma canister at her. But she spat acid at his weapon destroying it. Which caused him to rip off his destroyed plasma canister tossing it aside as he ran up to her and dropped kicked her in the chest knocking her back. As he grabbed her tail and lifted her up with his strength and started spinning her around and around and around hitting her face and head against every tree and boulder as he finally released her causing her to crash right up against a rock.
Her face was healing up… and so was her injuries as she stood up glaring at him.
Naruto also glared at her. Using his remaining weapons he has left. His wrist scythe blade and Plasma Rod Whip.
The two glared at each other in silence.
Both are evenly matched… as the two continued to stare at each other. Glaring.
"Die!!" Izanami roared lunging at him.
Naruto himself was ready for this. As he lunged forward at her too and brought his wrist scythe ready.
( With Falcon and Artemis)
The Two are currently killing the invaders.
Nyra and Sabertooth are in pairs also killing and slaying some suna nin and sound nin.
That was until they heard a familiar screech which caught their attention.
One Sound Shinobi got impaled by a familiar black tail as the four hunters widened their eyes behind their masks.
"Serpents!" Falcon growled.
"KILL THEM!" Artemis snarled as it was revealed four serpents made themselves known and lunged at the four.
The First Xenomorph would attempt to Strike at Falcon but the hunter beheaded it with his sword.
Nyra tossed her smart disk the other cutting its legs off and then stabbed the side of its head with her dagger.
Sabertooth dropped kick one serpent as he sliced open its stomach with his knives.
Artemis hacked the last one with her Elder Sword. After killing the four Artemis turned to her fellow hunters.
"Scatter! Find more of them! We can't afford to let a single one live!" Artemis would command as they would split up and go hunting for the serpents knowing they are a dangerous threat to be left alive.
( Back with Naruto and Izanami)
The Xenomorph hybrid let out a deafening blood-curdling screech. As she sensed more of her children slaughtered!.
Naruto wasted no time in charging at her while she screeched in primal rage.
He set the plasma on his Wrist scythe on MAX. And would directly impale the weapon right through Izanami's midsection of her torso who groaned and roared in pain. Acid blood leaking from her mouth feeling the plasma burn her insides up!
Gritting her teeth in pain glaring at Naruto in Full hate, her Mangekyo Sharingan glaring into his eyes. She used what strength she could muster and backhanded him.
She stumbled backwards coughing up acidic blood.
Naruto glanced at her. As she clutched her stab wound that he left her.
Naruto stood up as he walked slowly to her preparing to end her with his wrist scythe.
"Prepare to Die." He would say going to end her.
But raised her head up at him and extended her inner jaw like mouth as it pierced through his Left shoulder he growled in pain as she shot her tail forward coating it with acid and would stab into his torso armor that was already damaged from her explosive hive resin he felt the tail blade stick right into him. She retracted her tail and would push him down on the ground and kept him pinned.
"THIS… IS…. FOR MY CHILDREN!!!" Screeched Izanami going to end him once and for all. Opening her mouth she prepared to impale his skull.
Before she could do that. 4 Arrows struck Izanami causing her to screech in pain as she got off of Naruto.
"GET AWAY FROM HIM YOU BITCH!" Growled Artemis as she shot another arrow at Izanami who roared again feeling five arrows on her body.
Izanami scowled as she roared when Artemis brought out her Whip and struck Izanami with it 6 times.
Izanami smacked her tail across Artemis's face knocking her away.
Izanami ripped all the arrows off her body making her roar in pain as she knew now it was time to flee…
Naruto stood up as did Artemis. They both glared at Izanami.
"THIS ISN'T OVER!!!" screeched Izanami as she grabbed Kusanagi and made a run for it.
Artemis Shot two more arrows her way but missed.
Naruto attempted to go after Izanami but he felt his world go dark
"NARUTO!" Artemis ran to his side seeing him fall limp unconscious
(Two days later)
Two days had gone by after the invasion. Naruto would be in the Namikaze estate bedridden being patched up from his injuries with Izanami.
Naruto would crack open his eyes for the first time.
"My Kami! Your awake! Mom! Guys he's awake!" Inari would say getting everyone's attention who came in Naruto's room.
Naruto looked to his right and saw Anko, Inari, Haku, Tsunami. Artemis, Falcon, Nyra and Sabertooth. But wait where is Onslaught?
"Thank goodness your alive and awake!" Tsunami would say glancing down at Naruto.
"How are you feeling?" Haku asked him.
"Im feeling better.. But a little weak at the moment Ah!" Naruto says adjusting himself but felt pain from his torso that was bandaged as he remembered that wound that Izanami gave him… his eyes widened.
"The Serpents! Did any of you-" He asked until Falcon spoke.
"We killed four.. We searched the whole village for anymore.. But they weren't found.. Artemis told us that you faced an abomination.." He says
"Where is Onslaught?" Naruto asked. As the four hunters were silent until Artemis spoke up.
"Onslaught is no longer with us Naruto… he was killed.. He must have been attacked by the serpents.." She told him since Falcon was the one who found Onslaught's body.
Naruto glared and narrowed his eyes... Having a feeling that abomination Orochimaru created had something to do with Onslaught's death.. Or her children may have done it.
"We have to go after it… and kill it! Along with its hive before its too late!" Naruto says with determination on wanting to kill Izanami
( Elsewhere)
Kabuto was in hiding from the outskirts of fire country. Awaiting at the Rendezvous point that Orochimaru told him to meet at. It's been two days and he hasn't heard from Orochimaru or the sound 4...
He wondered was Orochimaru caught? Defeated and killed? With the possibility of the sound four gone too?
The Loyal assistant of Orochimaru would keep walking that was until something invisible grabbed him and pulled him in the darkness dragging him.
Kabuto would be dropped as he looked around and found himself in a cave. He flinched seeing several serpents surround him screeching and hissing at him.
"Please... don't hurt me..." He says scared.
"That will be the least of your worries.. Kabuto!" Hissed a horrid cold voice making Kabuto whip his head and saw a familiar face that made his blood turn cold.
"D-Dark Empress!?" He said with shock and terror in his voice. Having PTSD flashbacks of her.
"That's not my name anymore. It's Izanami! And from here on out Kabuto. We have unfinished business." Hissed Izanami with a dark cold smile enjoying the look of fear on his face.
"You will serve me and my Hive. If you refuse.. I will take your life just as I did with my Father! " she says with him going pale in the face knowing what she meant..
"You.. You.. killed Orochimaru-sama!" He says with shock while she chuckled darkly and risen from her throne made of Resin coming pass her children.
"Yes. He is dead. And right now. You will serve me. Starting off by taking me back to my former home, sound village. Oh and one more thing." She would say before impaling her clawed finger into Kabuto's shoulder making him scream in pain as she would flare acid into it.
"Should you even think of rebelling against me or even try any sort of betrayal. I will kill you. Understand?" She told him as he nodded.
"Good.. now get ready to take me and my children to our new home~" She says with a dark smile but grunted when she clutched her stab wound that Naruto left her in the midsection of her chest. A low hiss escaped her mouth.
She will make him pay...
For now she must go to sound village and convert it into a Hive and lay low..
