That was only the second time I ever saw them, nearly a year ago. Haven't seen them since. And from what I've heard neither has anyone else. I wish I could say I felt a little bit bad. But with them gone I felt so much safer. No more skipping stolen meals in fear of running into the greatest heroes on the island.

Speaking of stolen meals, I thought as my stomach growled. I was extremely hungry.

I walked back from the town, it was getting late to be out. I listened to the sounds of the forest as I nibbled on the bread.

Abruptly, the chirps of birds and rustling of leaves went silent. I stilled, listening, waiting. Something slammed into me out of nowhere, pushing me to the ground. "Oof!" I hit the ground, quickly looking around. I saw a young woman, she only looked to be a couple of years older than me.

She groaned, holding her head before she seemed to remember me. "Oh my gosh! I am so so sorry!"

The girl picked me up off the ground. Like literally picked me up. After I quickly brushed off the shock at the girl's strength I observed her.

She was only slightly taller than me. I stood at a meager 5'0. She was maybe 5'2 or 5'3. She wore a pretty outfit with a white top and a red skirt. She had no shoes. She had beautiful brown eyes and hair. She was pretty.

"A-are you okay? You didn't get hurt, did you?" I blinked, looking at her worried expression. "Oh!" I cleared my throat, "No, I'm alright." She nodded with a small smile, "Oh, ok good. That's a relief."

"Why were you in such a hurry? If you don't mind me asking?" I questioned the girl. I dusted myself off and grabbed my bag as the girl hesitated to answer. "I need help." Her tone was saddened and slightly desperate. I stilled at her tone and expression.

"With what?" She looked me in the eyes. I looked away, I never was good with eye contact. My eyes darted away and back to her face multiple times as she spoke.

"It's my papa. He's missing. I need help finding him. I was looking for the F7." Finally, my eyes landed on her, and I frowned. The F7 has been missing the entire year. Even if she did find them would they help her?

I wanted to think that 'yeah, they'd help their heroes!' But would they? Would they really?

"I could find you're father way faster than they could," I said aloud without thinking.

My eyes widened a little and I bit the inside of my cheek. What was I thinking? It's not like I knew any tracking spells. Not good ones anyway. I had disappeared from my world halfway through 3rd year. I didn't know anything! But this girl needed help! Maybe I could find a good spell book hidden somewhere in my bag. One of the ones I stole from Dad's office or something.

"You could?" She asked, looking slightly in disbelief but her eyes lit up. I opened my mouth, 'Could I?' I shut my mouth as her mouth spread into a large grin. I realized I was nodding to her question.

No going back now, I guess. I would find this nice girl's father. Or I'd be searching for him till the day I died.

"I think I know where to look first." Definitely, no going back, I thought as she eagerly spoke.

"Where?"

Snow White, I learned was her name. I also learned that her stepmother, Regina, was a Dark witch. A dark witch who took over an entire kingdom. I also learned her father is a king.

"It's just through here, Marcella!" She gently pulled me behind her through the trees. A large white wall loomed over us. Snow looked up at her kingdom, she looked at me as she pointed to the castle at the top. "We have to get up there! My stepmother has done something with Papa. I just need to find proof." I frowned but nodded.

"Ok. How do we get in?"

For the love of Merlin. It's times like these that I wished I were old enough to learn how to Apparate. STAIRS. SO MANY STAIRS. The sun had set by the time we made it to Snow's castle. I panted for air; meanwhile, Snow only looked slightly out of breath.

'HOW THE HELL DOES SHE DO THIS'

"Come on, in my dad's office." The pale girl whispered, waving me over. I nodded, collecting myself.

She grabbed a well-placed rope near a wall with an open window. How coincidental. I followed after the girl as she threw the rope at the window. It missed. Maybe I should help out. It missed again. The window was too high, and besides, without something to hold it down, it would fall with us.

I could use my magic.

She's nice. And we bonded over those painful hours of climbing stairs. Kinda. Maybe- maybe she wouldn't get scared and scream "witch". I'd made up my mind once she missed a third time.

"Allow me." I hesitantly said, walking forward. Pulling my wand from its spot at my hip, hidden in my cloak.

Her eyes widened but she said nothing as she handed over the rope. I nodded to her as I took it. I used a simple levitating spell to pull it through the window. I tied one end to a railing and used a spell to hold down the rope on the other end. Hoping it worked, I went first to test it. I pulled myself into the window.

"Yes!" I whispered, pumping my fist in slight excitement. "Come on!" I whispered down to Snow, who looked up at me smiling.

I observed the room as I waited for her. There was a pretty tree in front of a desk. It buzzed with magical energy. I stared at it for a bit before Snow got near the top. I offered her my hand and she took it. She wasted no time in climbing down as I looked at the tree once more.

"That wasn't here before." Snow squinted at the tree. "What is she up to now?" She looked over to a painting of herself as I looked around the room.

I heard her make a struggled noise and quickly looked over, she lifted a large shelf as I did. I walked over as she pulled the painting. It opened to an empty safe. She looked into it confused before looking around the room at the desk.

The buzzing of magic grew slightly stronger. I furrowed my brows but ignored it as Snow opened a drawer. Our heads looked up to the large doors as they creaked open. Lights of lanterns entering as I quickly ducked down next to Snow. We hid behind the desk.

"Huh?" I heard as the light shined on the rope and window. I watched with wide eyes as a small wooden bear on a broom flew to the rope. "You weren't here before." It said, their voice sounding like a child.

I scooted away, to hide on the other side of the desk. Snow followed as the bear suddenly pointed the light to the desk. I held my breath as we waited for the bear to leave. They hummed, "Whatever." They said before flying out. The door closed.

I exhaled, Snow doing the same before hitting her head on the underside of the desk. "Ow." She rubbed her head. "Snow, look." I pointed to the red book that was in a hidden compartment. She gasped and grabbed it. "Yes!" She smiled as she examined it.

She dropped it on the desk and read through it. I looked over her shoulder.

'I can't believe my beloved daughter Snow White has turned eighteen.

I only wish her mother could see the kind of smart and beautiful young woman she's become.

Strange thing happened during the party.

The castle guards brought in a woman named Regina.

They said she was a witch, but she was too beautiful to be a witch.'

I frowned as I moved on to the next paragraph.

'I have married Regina. Everything feels so perfect!

Except for Regina's strange looking mirror. There's something not quite right.

People around the castle have been disappearing, one by one.

Is it because of that peculiar mirror?

I saw it with my own eyes, Regina talking to a tree. She must be a witch!'

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

'I should send Snow away to a safer place.

My dear Snow, by the time you read this, my fate will be uncertain.

She's coming for me now.

I only hope you can find the Fearless Seven, and ask them for help.

Apples. The most suspicious of fruits.'

Snow sighed, "Oh, papa, where are you?" I heard the ominous ringing of bells as light streamed through the window. Snow looked up at the tree, I followed her gaze. Two apples rested on one of the branches. Were they there before? I squinted my eyes as my brows pushed together, trying to remember.

"But they don't look dangerous." I heard from Snow.

There it was. That feeling. An extremely powerful buzzing of magic. And It was getting closer. We had to go. My eyes darted from the door to Snow White. "Snow!" She seemingly didn't hear me as she walked up to the tree. "Snow, we have to go!" I said a little louder, though still keeping it a hushed whisper.

I grew more and more anxious at the powerful magic that was drawing near. Snow reached up to the apples as they morphed. My anxiousness was clouded by confusion as they turned to shiny red shoes.

Snow White decided it was a good idea to put them on before I had anything to say about it. Magical buzzing practically numbed my body as I was blinded by a bright red light. I blinked my eyes clear of the light and looked at Snow in worry. I was shocked to see an entirely different-looking girl.

"Sno-" I was cut off by a screech. "No! My shoes!" She pointed to us, anger clear on her face. "GET THEM!"

I tensed up and pulled Snow out of the way of magical branches. The roots slammed into the wall. We tried running only to be chased the other way and under the now-stuck roots. We slid onto the ground. One of the bears chasing us had its head fly off.

They seem ok, I thought with a slight wince. I grabbed the broom in front of me. "Can we borrow this?" Snow asked the bear head as I mounted. "Okay!" They replied. "Come on Snow!" She quickly got on. "Do you know how to fly a broom?"

I barked out a laugh, "Of course I do. I'm like, the best flyer ever!" The broom darted away, I steered it to the open window and we flew off as the roots dashed after us. We narrowly escaped. Snow screamed as the broom flew surprisingly fast.

Oh man, I hadn't flown a broom in forever. I had always loved flying. My dad was a famous Quidditch player, of course I loved it. This broom was stubborn and old. But it had good speed. Very good speed. The speed was a little too good. Oh no.

Snow gripped my waist tightly as we flew with no sign of stopping. The broom kept trying to throw us off. Jerking every so often. In the distance, I saw what looked like a small castle.

"I thought you knew how to fly!" I heard Snow yell over the winds.

"I do! But this broom is super stubborn and stupid!" The broom jerked roughly making us both yelp. I was so focused on the broom that I didn't realize how close we had gotten to that castle. In fact, I hadn't realized until I had lost full control of the broom and it sent us both flying into a tree.

We screamed as we flew through some of the branches and hit the ground. I huffed as I accepted defeat and lay on the ground, looking up at the sky. I heard Snow groan lightly before getting up.

"Marcella? You ok?" I didn't answer verbally, just stuck my thumb up high in the air. I didn't get up until Snow was opening the door to the fake castle. Yes, it was extremely fake. It was kinda cute though.

I looked up through my eyelashes, still lying on my back. "Snow?! What are you doing?" I got up quickly as the girl opened the door.

"I'm just gonna look around, Ash. I already knocked, but no one's home. Maybe they can help us when they get back?"

I frowned but kept my thoughts to myself, doing what I do best. Staying silent. Snow was far too trusting and kindhearted for the world.

Or maybe that was just my inner Slytherin talking. Merlin, I missed home so much. The other Slytherins might have been dramatic little gits but they knew how to have fun.

And Kate, oh how I missed Kate. My first and best friend. As Snow made her way to the kitchen with me right behind her, I thought about my world. How it was funny Kate and I became best friends only to find out our fathers had been rivals during their school days. I miss us trying to hide our little giggles as our fathers glared at each other, trying and failing to stay civil. I miss my father dearly. I miss him teaching me to fly and patching me up with spells when I got hurt.

I blinked, shaking myself out of my thoughts as I watched Snow eat something. "This is soooo good! You should try some!" The girl smiled holding out a little cake. I felt my stomach grumble as I looked at it. No! No, I shouldn't. If Snow wanted to eat random food from a random person's house then that's her decision!

"No thanks, Snow. I'm good." She frowned lightly but continued eating. I jumped as the door slammed open.

"En garde!"

"Wands where I can see 'em, witch!"

That agitating, grating voice sounded very familiar.

I closed my eyes for a moment, inhaling heavily through my nose. I opened them to a bunch of small green men. That was quite bewildering. They didn't seem to notice me though. They only saw Snow.

I didn't like that. How those stupid little men looked at her. Before I could step in front of her though, another voice rang out.

"FRAULEIN!" I heard while the others started protesting.

"I baked you some revenge!" I went to turn, reaching for my wand. Then it went black.
