One starry night on Earth a farmer is tending to his crops when he sees a strange meteor shoot across the sky. He didn't think anything of it at first, but then two other meteors followed.
"Mary! Somethin' strange is a going on! Get my shotgun!"
The man walked over to the where the strange meteors landed. He saw three metal pods sitting in a smoking crater. Inside each pod was a young boy, all of them in their teens. They all had spiky, slick black hair and black eyes. They wore different colored leotards and white and gold body armor. Each of them had a strange machine mounted on the side of their face. It was small white and disk shaped and had green glass that sat in front of their eyes. They all appeared human, except for their monkey tails.
"Don't worry," said one of the boys with a smirk. "We are not here to hurt you."
The farmer knew they were not what they seemed. A voice echoed through his mind. He holds up his gun and fires but the bullet just bounces off one of the boys skin. The boy flies out of the crater and stands in front of the farmer.
"That wasn't very nice," the boy remarked before slapping the farmer with his tail. The farmer was sent flying a few feet before smashing into a tree. The boy uses the machine on his face to check the power level of the farmer. "Hmm, only six. Damn. Doesn't look like you'll be much of a challenge. Oh well." The boy rushes over to the farmer and begins bludgeoning him with his own gun. "You! Need! To learn! How! To respect! Others!"
"Pino, stop playing around!" The youngest of the three boys calls out. "So Applo, anyone on this planet worth our time?" He asks the eldest of them.
"Hmm. I scanned the planet as we entered orbit. Most power levels are only about 5-10. Wait, my scouter's picking up someone else. Hmm. 2,500."
"Is that really the best this planet has to offer?" The young boy asked as he turned on his scouter as well.
"No. There are others, but they're much farther away. It looks like there's about 12 above average power levels on the planet and three of them are ours. The three of us are the strongest by far. It looks like the power level closest to ours is actually 10,000."
"Pathetic. Nearly six times beneath mine." The boy said.
"And what is your power level Oran?" The eldest boy asked the youngest.
"Last I checked 58,000." The youngest bragged.
"Well done. You may be able to help destroy this planet. But you're still far weaker than Applo and I." The one named Pino bragged as he finished bludgeoning the man and broke his gun in half.
"What do you suggest we do next?" Oran asked Applo.
"I say we go the nearest high power level and see what's going on. If there's some kind of special way to get stronger on this planet they must know how."
"Sounds like a plan to me. Let's go." Oran said as he and his brothers began flying into the forest.
After a few minutes they began closing in on the power level when something changed. Applo noticed on his scouter that the power level of 2,500 disappeared.
"Hey, something just happened to the high power level."
"What is it?" Oran asked.
"I'm not sure, it just disappeared. No wait, I think it went down. Now it's only 25."
"So what?" Pino scoffed. "If all these humans can do is decrease their power level then none of them can get close to as strong as us."
"Maybe, but that could mean that the lower power levels could increase as well." Applo explained.
"Let's just go investigate. If this person's power goes back up they might be able to give me a fight."
The three brothers flew down to a small wooden cabin in the middle of the woods. Applo began looking around with his scouter until they found someone. She was a blonde girl with hair that went down to her shoulder blades. Her eyes were blue and she was wearing a pair of skinny jeans along with a black and white flannel. The sight of the Saiyan brothers shocked her but she tried her best to keep her composure.
"Hello, are you guys lost travelers?" She asked while tightly holding some folded clothes.
"Bah! Don't make us laugh doll face." Pino exclaimed as he reached to turn on his scouter. "We are warriors of the proud Saiyan race. We've come to eradicate you humans and either blow up your planet or sell it to the highest bidder. Whichever is more convenient. Huh? Applo, you're sure this girl was the one with the power level of 25?"
"Positive. I followed her straight here with the scouter. Why?"
"Because it's gone back up. It's now 2,500."
"Really?" Oran asked with a bit of excitement. "So then it was her doing something to lower her power level. Well then," he continued as he began cracking his knuckles and his neck. "I suppose I'll take her on so the two of you don't have to waste your time." Oran stood before the girl with his arms crossed and a devilish look in his eyes. "Now then, come at me, and let's see what Earth's fighters have to offer."
The girl charged forward at Oran and began throwing a flurry of punches and kicks, but Oran easily dodged every attack without even moving from his position or uncrossing his arms.
"Nope. Uhuh. Sorry. Too slow. And," Oran finally counter with a power punch to the girls gut that made her bend over Oran's fist in pain. "You lose." Oran followed through on the strike and sent the girl flying backwards into a tree. "Man, I was hoping she'd at least get close to hitting me. Applo, do some quick math. What's the difference between mine and her power levels?"
"You're stronger than her by a factor of about 25."
"Ah man! Is this really the best this dirt ball has to offer."
"No actually," Pino said as he set his scouter to find anyone with an above average power level. "Like Applo said, there's eight others with above average power levels. She's only about the seventh strongest."
"Good. That means there may still be a challenge on this planet." Oran walked over to where the girl was laying only half conscious and breathing heavily. "Hey you, wake up," Oran said lightly smacking her. "You've got an above average power level. I want to know how you got it, and where I can find the others like you."
The girl spit in Oran's face. "go to…hell…" Oran furiously grabbed her by the throat and slammed her through another tree before holding her off the ground by her throat.
"You need to learn to respect your superiors."
"Hey! Let her go!" Oran's attention was caught by a pair of girls that had just arrived at the scene of the fight. They both had brown hair, the taller girl with shoulder length and the shorter one had hers tied in a ponytail. They were both wearing simple yellow and black workout clothes.
"Applo, I can't be bothered to check their power levels right now."
Applo scoffed but reached to use his scouter. "Well, well. Looks like it's your lucky day Oran. The taller girl is the strongest warrior on the planet."
"Yeah, and it looks like the shorter one is the second strongest," Pino added.
"Really?" Oran threw the blonde girl at Pino who caught her in a Full Nelson. "Well if they're the strongest then what are their power levels?"
"Hmm. 10,000 and 9,000 respectively."
"Oh come on. Are you serious? I'm still stronger than both of them by a factor of at least six! Oh well. Maybe a two on one will make this more fun. Hell the blonde can even join in if she can stand."
Pino let go of the other girl before he and Applo stepped back and sat down to watch. The strongest of the three girls quickly moved to help her friend up.
"Azalea are you okay? Here eat this." She said as she handed the blonde a small green bean. Oran was confused when he saw that after eating the bean all the girls injuries seemed to disappear.
"What the hell was that? How did you just heal her wounds so quickly?" None of the girls gave Oran a response. "Fine. If you won't tell me I'll just have to beat the information out of your nearly lifeless corpses." Oran threatened as he took off his scouter and tossed it to Pino. "Starting with you!" Oran called out as he charged at the shortest girl. She began trying to defend herself and the other two girls joined in. Oran was fighting a three on one but he was still nearly three times stronger than all of them put together.
It didn't take long for him to win. He defeated the strongest girl in less than a minute by knocking her unconscious with a single kick to the head. The second he knocked out with a vicious head butt. And then he grabbed the blonde by the throat again and threw her into the ground.
"Gah, that was hardly even a warm up. And if two of you are the strongest beings on the planet then what's the point in fighting the others? Come on brothers we should just blow this planet up and be down with it. It's not even worth taking for Lord Heeta." The three brothers looked at each other.
"I don't know," Applo started. "There is something odd about this planet. For one thing there's these few warriors with above average power levels. They must have some kind of secret as to how they got so powerful. Then there was that strange green bean. Finding those could be a help to the Heeta Force armies. Lastly, there seems to be seven power levels coming from another part of the planet and are also above average. But they don't appear to be living beings."
"What are you talking about?" Pino asked.
"I'm saying that there appears to be some kind of inanimate objects stronger than most people on this dirt ball. I say we continue investigating this planet a little longer, we can decide if we want to destroy it after a day or two of exploring. For now we should tie these three up and see if they'll give us any information."
A few hours later the three boys were sitting around a fire in the middle of the forest. They had tied up the three girls and were waiting for them to awaken. So far nothing had happened.
"I think it's safe to assume that they'll be out for a little while," Oran said. "That was a good idea by the way."
"Thanks," Applo accepted. "I figured since we weren't getting anywhere with this whole 'kill the world' thing that maybe we should interrogate them first. Finding those beans and whatever those inanimate power levels are will be much more valuable to Lord Heeta than this planet."
Oran smiled at the thought. "Well, these three won't be answering questions any time soon. I say we split up. One of us should keep watch on these three while the others split off to search for the inanimate power level and the other sees if they can find anyone else with information." The three boys nodded but knew now they had to pick who would do what.
"Nose goes!" All three boys yelled as they reached to touch their noses. Oran was last and he angrily smacked the ground.
"I never get any of the fun. Fine! I'll stay here and keep an eye on these three."
"I'll go track down those inanimate power levels." Applo volunteered.
"And I'll search for more of Earth's warriors." Pino finished. "Oh here, you'll need this incase any others show up," Pino added tossing Oran's scouter back to him.
The three brothers nodded as two of them flew off and Oran sat annoyed as he put his scouter back on.
