Sonic and his friends are transported to the Pokémon Regions instead of Station Square during a battle against Dr. Eggman. Once on Earth, Sonic and co. make friends with Ash and co. They must work together to find a way for Sonic and co. to get home and undo a disaster that happened on Earth that affected Mobius in the future. SonSal pairing.

1. Enter the Supersonic Hero!

Hello everybody. Here is the first episode of a new fanfiction series I'm working on. It's a crossover of Sonic X and the Pokémon anime. And just in time for Sonic X's twentieth anniversary. This fanfiction will also feature Sonic characters from other adaptations of Sonic as well. The Pokémon canon is different for this story too. You'll see what the changes are. Enjoy.

Sonic X and Pokémon

It was a quiet and peaceful night on the planet of Mobius. Big the Cat, a cat who loved to fish was sleeping. He was a very large and burly anthropomorphic cat, living up to his name, Big. The majority of his body fur was purple with dark violet stripes. A striped pattern ran up his arms and long tail. His feet were covered in dark violet fur up to his ankles as well as the outer tips of his large, triangular ears, while his upper legs, back, and sides were covered in purple fur. White fur covered his chest, torso, muzzle, and inner ears. He also had black eyes with pale yellow sclera. His preferred attire consisted of yellow gloves, sandals, and a matching belt with a gold buckle. He usually kept his fishing rod with him. He was eighteen years old. He also had a pet frog named Froggy. He was a non-anthropomorphic green frog with a round body and four limbs. Its limbs were rather thin, and each one has webbed feet with two toes each. It also had a pale green underbelly and dark green stripes around its body. It also had medium-large eyes with pale yellow sclera and wide black pupils.

The silence was broken when alarms began to sound. The alarm was coming from the tower base of the mad scientist known as Julian Ivo Robotnik. But he was better known as Dr. Eggman. Lights began to turn on too. A couple of his E-Series robots were deployed to destroy whoever intruded at the base. These robots were E-30 Laser Tanks. They were accompanied by several other robots called Egg Pawns and Egg SWATs. Egg Pawns were humanoid robots based on Dr. Eggman. The typical Egg Pawn was primarily orange in color, with a round body and a dome-shaped head that come together in an egg-like shape. It also had blank blue eyes, a sharp yellow nose, a wide glowing panel for a mouth, and a black lower torso section. They had gray cable-like limbs with four-fingered hands, vermilion/orange feet, yellow cuffs around their wrists and ankles, and short shoulder guards. The Egg SWATs were a combination of their predecessors; the SWATbots and Egg Pawn design, with bulky rounded bodies and the same spiked dome head of the SWATbots and had a paint scheme that matches Dr. Eggman's uniform. The robots began to fire at the hero that was storming the base. It was a thin anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue fur that covered most of his body, peach skin that covered his arms, muzzle and front torso, and emerald-green eyes. He had six long quills on the back of his head, two spines protruding from his back behind his shoulders, and a short tail. For attire, he wore two light-weight, hyper friction resistant red sneakers with white cuffs around the ankles, gray soles, and white straps across the top, the last of which were held down by a golden buckle on each foot. He also wore a pair of white gloves with sock-like cuffs on his hands. The hedgehog was fifteen years in age. He was also running really fast to dodge the lasers. He was Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing on Mobius. Sonic grinned as he dodged the lasers and missiles that were fired at him. He jumped over the Laser Tanks, Egg Pawns and Egg SWATs and into the base. Then, a couple of E-12 Behemoth robots activated. They burst out of the ground and in front of Sonic. Sonic turned and began to run from them. The Behemoths chased after Sonic. From the shadows, somebody was watching Sonic as he was chased by the robots. Hold on, Sonic. I'm coming, thought the mysterious person.

Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go

(We see Sonic doing a Sonic Spin.)

Gotta go fast,

(Sonic uncurls and starts running.)

Gotta go fast,

(Sonic runs to avoid hitting some cars.)

Gotta go faster, faster,

(Sonic charges at Coconuts, Grounder and Scratch)

faster, faster, faster

(Sonic stomps on the three robots, trashing them to pieces. He then continues running.)

Movin' at speed of sound (make tracks)

(Sonic runs with a grin and his fist at the front)

Quickest hedgehog around

(Sonic runs down the side of a mountain.)

Got ourselves a situation,

(Some alarms of Dr. Eggman's base sound and two behemoths burst out of the ground.)

stuck in a new location,

(Sonic runs out of a building, only to be launched by a Dr. Eggman spring trap.)

Without any explanation,

(We see Ash & Pikachu, Dr. Eggman, Tails, Sally Acorn, Knuckles and Team Rocket.)

No time for relaxation!

(Sonic is fighting Metal Sonic.)

Don't, don't, don't, don't,

(Pikachu lets off a Thunderbolt attack, zapping Team Rocket.)

don't blink, don't think,

(Sonic is running, carrying Sally bridal style)

Just go, go, go, go,

(Sally and Amy are fighting with their various weapons.)

g-g-g-g-go, go!

(Knuckles unleashes a furious flurry of punches. Sally gives Sonic a kiss on the lips, much to his pleasure. Amy watches in the background, green with envy. Sonic runs into a building, only to be chased out by a large robot.)

N-n-n-n-n-n-na

(Sonic dodges an incoming swipe from it.)

N-n-n-n-n-n-na

(Sonic and Pikachu are teaming up to fight Team Rocket's Pokémon. Sonic kicks Seviper in the face, while Pikachu Iron Tails Inkay.)

Sonic, he's on the run!

(Sonic gets netted by a cop, only for Sonic to drag the cop with him.)

Sonic, he's number one!

(Sonic runs up a tree.)

Sonic, he's comin' next,

(Sonic runs next to Sam Speed's car.)

So watch out . . . For Sonic X!

(Sonic pulls off a Sonic Boom, outrunning Sam Speed.)

Gotta go fast (Sonic!), gotta go fast (Sonic!),

(Sonic, as Super Sonic leaps from the X-Tornado and destroys a large robot.)

Gotta go faster, faster, faster, faster, faster!

(We see various images of Sonic fighting alongside Ash & co.'s Pokémon)

Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!

(Sonic is ricocheting inside a tower, causing explosions.)

So . . . (Sonic) nic . . .

(Sonic dodges some robotic tentacles from an unseen robot.)

(Sonic) X,

(Sonic gets power boosted by a Power Ring.)

Gotta go faster!

(Sonic curls up as he prepares to attack.)

Gotta go fast!

(Sonic jumps off a building and into battle.)

(We see various images of Sonic, his friends and Ash and co. fighting various foes.)

Episode 1: Enter the Supersonic Hero! Welcome to the Pokémon World!

Elsewhere, in another place, in another time, it was nighttime there too. The silence of the night was broken by the sounds of a different set of alarms. Prison alarms.

(Insert "Eye Contact! Team Rocket" from Pokémon)

For someone had broken out of their prison cells in the middle of the night. "Jessie, James and Meowth have escaped!" said the guard. The prison searchlights began to search for the said prisoners. The three escaped prisoners had already stole a helicopter. Jessie was a woman with magenta hair & blue eyes and she also wore red lipstick and green earrings. James was a man with blue hair & green eyes. Meowth was a cat-like creature with a feline appearance, resembling a small house cat. He stood on his hind legs. He had cream-colored fur, which turned brown at its paws and tail tip. His oval-shaped head featured four prominent whiskers, no nose, black-and-brown ears, and a glimmering gold oval coin (also known as a "charm") embedded in its forehead. He was capable of retracting the claws on its fore- and hind-paws and bringing them out again when needed. He was actually capable of speaking full english. They were currently wearing black & white prison uniforms. But in addition, they had permanent battle scars too. Jessie's face and chest were horribly burned. Her face was burned so that she looked like Freddy Krueger in drag. Her hair used to be longer, but the majority of it was burned off. She also had artificial lower legs. James was disabled in the legs and had to rely on a wheelchair. The majority of Meowth's fur was burned off and he lost his hands too and had fake hands. His original forehead coin was destroyed and was wearing a fake one.

"Finally, we're free from that Hell hole!" said Meowth.

"I couldn't stand that prison food any longer or the abuse the other prisoners gave us!" said Jessie.

"I especially hate the prison warden and interrogator! Especially since they tortured us to give G.U.N. the locations of the Team Rocket bases! And they've hunted down the majority of our fellow Team Rocket operatives and the organization is now a shadow of its former empire!" said James.

"This is all the twerps' fault that our lives are a living Hell! Stuck on Prison Island for three years! THREE WHOLE YEARS!" screamed Jessie.

"If only the head twerp let us steal Pikachu, we wouldn't be in this mess!" said James.

"We must find him, get even with him and steal Pikachu once and for all!" said Meowth. Then, he realized something. "Come to think of it, where is he now?" asked Meowth.

"Apparently you weren't watching the news with us the other day," said James.

"The last time we saw, he was spotted in Kalos. He won the Kalos League and he destroyed the organization of Team Flare," said Jessie.

"Then, we'll head to the Kalos Region then! Look out twerps! Beware of the terrifying return of Team Rocket!" said Meowth. They began to laugh maniacally, thinking about how they were going to get revenge on their most hated foe.

(End Music)

The first Behemoth robot chased Sonic down a corridor. Suddenly, the second one burst into the hallway and in front of Sonic. Sonic ran out of the building, but the Behemoth robots burst out, still chasing him. But as Sonic was running, he didn't notice the spring-loaded platform that had Dr. Eggman's face, until it launched him into the air. He screamed as he was sent flying. One of the Behemoth robots then punched Sonic, sending him flying higher.

At that moment, something flew in into the area. It was a blue biplane known as the Tornado 2. The one driving it was a young fox named Miles "Tails" Prower. He was a young, anthropomorphic fox cub with a unique mutation of two tails instead of one. He had mostly yellow-orange fur with white fur around his muzzle, front torso, and the tips of his tails. He also had blue eyes. He wore white gloves and socks with gray fasteners and red sneakers with white toes and gray soles. He was a mechanical genius for an eight year old kid and was a valuable ally in Sonic's quest to stop Dr. Eggman from conquering Mobius. Accompanying Tails was Amy Rose Hedgehog. Amy was a pink-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog with green eyes and peach skin on her muzzle and arms. Unlike other hedgehogs, her spines were not spiky in appearance (though they were when she was younger) but are rather worn down like that of ordinary hair, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She was twelve years old. For attire, she wore a red, sleeveless dress with white trims, tall red boots with a white stripe down the center and white cuffs, a red hairband, and white wrist-length gloves with gold bracelets for cuffs. When she was younger, Amy wore an orange/yellow ruffled or pleated skirt, a green shirt with puffed sleeves, white and blue sneakers with orange shoelaces, white wrist-length gloves and a red hairband. She claimed to be Sonic's girlfriend, but she wasn't really. "Sonic!" called Tails. As the Tornado 2 flew closer to Dr. Eggman's base, the base's defenses fired at the plane, setting part of it ablaze. Amy yelped.

"Tails! The plane's on fire! What are we gonna do?" asked Amy.

"We're gonna save Sonic!" said Tails. Tails fired a missile toward Sonic. The missile opened up, revealing a glowing, gold Power Ring. The Power Rings were created by Sonic's uncle, Sir Charles the Hedgehog. Sonic calls him Uncle Chuck. Sonic quickly grabbed the ring and returned to the sight of the battle using his Super Spin attack. He began smashing up the Laser Tanks, Egg Pawns, Egg SWATs and Behemoths with his incredible speed. A Behemoth tried to slam Sonic to the ground. But its attempt was in vain. He smashed that Behemoth too and began to head toward the base, smashing one of the lights. The Tornado 2 landed on the ground, but Tails couldn't stop it. "Hang on, Amy!" said Tails. Amy screamed as the Tornado 2 was heading for a boulder.

"We're gonna . . . CRASH!" screamed Amy.

"I KNOW!" cried Tails. But before the Tornado 2 could crash into the boulder, somebody punched it, smashing it into rubble. The Tornado 2 finally came to a complete stop. Tails and Amy saw who saved them. It was an anthropomorphic echidna with red fur that covered most of his body, peach skin on his muzzle, a white crescent-shaped patch of fur on his chest, and purple eyes. He also had seven dreadlock-like spines on his head and a medium-sized tail. For attire, he wore red and yellow shoes, each with green cuffs and a grey, sextuple-bolted plate on top. He also wore white, mittens-like gloves with sock-like cuffs and two spiked knuckles on each hand. Both his gloves were quite large. He age was sixteen, one year older than Sonic. "Knuckles!" said Tails.

"Hmph!" said Knuckles. He turned toward the direction of Dr. Eggman's fortress and saw the smoke of the robots Sonic destroyed.

"What's the matter with him?" asked Amy.

"Overkill. Just like always," said Knuckles.

Inside Dr. Eggman's fortress, the alarms were blaring and every door was shutting tight. The mad scientist himself was in his main room. Dr. Julian Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik was a human with a rotund and burly appearance, his torso and head coming together in an egg-like shape. He possessed no visible neck, a bald head, a bright red nose, and a very bushy mahogany mustache. He also had long, almost disproportionately thin arms and legs. For attire, Eggman wore tinted, navy blue pince-nez glasses and green-lensed goggles as headwear and an elegant, red coat sporting two square metal buttons on both sides of the chest in gold. These buttons had white straps that run across the coat's sides to identical buttons on the back. The coat also had silver, zipper-like linings down the back, arms and front, yellow cuffs, and two extensions on the front that have large silver buttons. In addition, Eggman also wore white, cuff-less gloves on his hands and a pair of black pants with matching boots seemingly attached to them bearing circular plates on the both sides of the ankles and three square ones riding up the shin. His age was unknown. At his side was his pet robotic bird, Cluck. Cluck was a robotic rooster with silver and gold armor plating and a beak full of sharp teeth.

His nephew, Snively and two robot assistants, Decoe & Bocoe were monitoring the security screens. Snively Robotnik (Originally Colin Kintobor Jr.) was a short human, the size of Sonic and his friends. He was mostly bald except for the individual hairs on the center of his skull that reach down to the back of his head. He originally had a full head of dirty blond hair. His most distinguishing feature, however was his long beak-like nose. His attire greatly resembled Dr. Eggman's, minus the buttons. The color was different as well, being green instead of red. He was 31 years in age. Decoe was a tall, straw-colored robot with coffee-colored limbs, a black panel on his chest and had purple eyes. Bocoe was a short, silver robot with slate gray limbs, a black panel on his chest and blue eyes.

Dr. Eggman and his goons also had hostages. They had kidnapped a young six year old rabbit girl named Cream and her pet Chao, Cheese. Cream was a small, anthropomorphic, lop-eared rabbit with cream fur and brown eyes. She had princeton orange markings around her eyes, on her head and at the ends of her ears. She wore a simple vermilion dress with a white collar and blue cravat, and orange and yellow shoes. Her ears were usually swiveled back and flop behind her head. Cheese had the appearance of a neutral child Chao: he was light blue and had yellow markings at the tip of his head, hands, feet and tail, a bulb-shaped head, dark blue eyes, a floating, yellow pom-pom ball hovering above the top of his head that changed appearance corresponding to his emotions, two pink butterfly-like wings and a small circular tail. He was distinguishable from other Chao by his red bow tie. "Doctor Eggman. The facility is in 100 percent lockdown," said Decoe.

"There's no way that hedgehog can reach us now," said Snively, with a smirk.

"Why does that cursed Sonic always get in my way?!" yelled Dr. Eggman.

"He doesn't get in your way, Dr. Eggman. Sonic just tries to stop you from doing all the bad things you like to do," said Cream.

"Chao-chao," said Cheese.

"Ooh, is that so?" said Dr. Eggman. He took out what looked like a ruby gemstone. "Well, he's too late to stop me this time! Once I insert the last Chaos Emerald, my energy amplifier will be invincible!" said Dr. Eggman, filled with overconfidence. The Chaos Emeralds were seven mysterious gems said to contain amazing but destructive powers. Besides green and red, they came in five other colors; blue, yellow, purple, cyan and white.

"But you can't do that!" said Cream.

"Chao-chao-chao!" said Cheese. Little did Dr. Eggman know that he was being spied on. It was a female, anthropomorphic bat with white fur, slightly tanned skin and teal eyes. She wore sea blue eyeshadow on her eyelids and her lips were painted with pink lipstick. She had large breasts too. For her attire, she wore a black costume revealing her arms with a large pink heart on her chest, which exposed her breast cleavage, as well as white gloves with pink finishes and white boots with small hearts on the toes. The bat was eighteen years old.

"That's right; Sonic won't let you get away with this!" said Cream. Dr. Eggman laughed maniacally.

"You're wrong Creamy-dreamy!" said Dr. Eggman. He continued to laugh. "He can't sto . . . ugh?" said Dr. Eggman as he was interrupted by an explosion. He turned around and saw that Sonic had smashed the door to the main room down.

"Sonic!" cried Cream.

"Sonic," said Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman's frown turned into an evil grin. "Too late!" said Dr. Eggman. He gave the red Chaos Emerald to Cluck and he put the red Chaos Emerald into the energy amplifier. Dr. Eggman began to input the button commands. He then pulled out a connection rod with a button on it. "You'll never stop me now, Sonic! Ho ho ho! All I have to do is to push this little button!" said Dr. Eggman. He continued to laugh maniacally.

"Yeah! If you can push it before I grab it," said Sonic. At that moment, an E-13 Guardbot appeared behind Sonic.

"Why don't you give it a try?!" asked Dr. Eggman. Suddenly, something whacked the Guardbot, knocking it away from Sonic.

"Huh?" asked Sonic.

"What the?!" asked Dr. Eggman. Everybody turned and saw who did it. It was the one who was watching Sonic from the shadows earlier. It was actually a female, anthropomorphic chipmunk/squirrel hybrid. She had pink fur on most of her body, light pink fur on her face & torso, short black hair styled into a ponytail and a short tail. She wore a pair of blue boots that reached past her knees, a revealing blue leotard, white gloves with blue trims and pink lipstick. Although she was the same age as the bat, her breasts were bigger. She was armed with some gauntlet blades. The squirrel girl wasn't alone. With her another Mobian rabbit like Cream and a Mobian Walrus. The second Mobian rabbit had light orange-blonde fur with brighter fur around her muzzle, golden blond hair styled into a ponytail and vibrant emerald-green eyes. Her eyelids were pink and the area around her eyes were purple. Her right ear was often flopped, though this was not a constant feature. But her most pronounced feature were her cyborg limbs, with her left arm and legs being cybernetic. She wore a pink singlet with a sweetheart neckline, a white glove with a pink cuff, a brown jacket and a brown cowboy hat with a red band. She was seventeen years old, one year younger than the squirrel girl. The walrus had violet fur with tufts of light blue hair on the top and sides of his head. He also had green eyes, peach skin on his front torso and muzzle and darker toes & fingers. He wore a teal & brown bandolier-like tool belt and a backwards yellow & red cap. He also had a brown bomber jacket, yellow fingerless gloves with white buckles, and red and white form-fitting shoes with yellow socks. He occasionally wore glasses too. He was one year older than the squirrel. Sonic's eyes widened as he recognized the three Mobians.

"Princess Sally Alicia Acorn! Bunnie Rabbot! Rotor Walrus!" cried Sonic. Sally was the name of the squirrel, Bunnie was the rabbit's name, and Rotor was the walrus' name.

"Hello, Sonic. It's been a while," said Sally.

"As much as we want to catch up with you, sugar hog, we'll have time after we fry Eggman's plan," said Bunnie.

"So Eggman, do you prefer your plan to get sunny sided up or just scrambled?" joked Rotor. Dr. Eggman recognized Sally, Bunnie and Rotor too.

"Sally, Bunnie, Rotor, it's been too long. Sally, you must be either brave or foolish to fight alongside Sonic, since your father, the king doesn't want you near him due to the law of only being allowed to marry whoever the king deems worthy," said Dr. Eggman.

"I left that life behind," said Sally.

"I guess that explains why you dyed your fur and hair as well as cut your hair short. Cause last time I saw you, you had brown fur and long red hair," said Dr. Eggman.

"Bunnie, Rotor and I'll take care of that Guardbot," said Sally.

"You got it!" said Sonic. The Guardbot began to fire at Sally, Bunnie and Rotor, but they dodged the gunfire. "Now I can focus on cracking you, Eggman," said Sonic.

(Insert "Metal Sonic Boss Battle" from Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2)

"Not so fast, hedgehog!" said a robotic voice. Sonic turned around, just in time to get punched by a robotic fist. Sonic crashed into the wall. He recovered and saw who punched him. It was a robot created in the image of Sonic and was thus mostly built of blue metal. He had a yellow circular depression in his chest with a black center, mirroring the peach skin on Sonic's chest. His head had metal fins resembling Sonic's quills and a pair of triangular "ears." The robotic Sonic had a muzzle, shoulder plates, upper arms, legs, and fingers made out of silvery metal. His palms were black, while the backs of his hands are square yellow plates. His forearms and lower legs were blue metal like his head and torso, and he had red feet with white stripes designed to resemble Sonic's shoes. He had optic sensors with black sclera and red irises.

"Metal Sonic?! I thought you were destroyed in our last battle!" said Sonic.

"I was! But I've been rebuilt and back for more!" said Metal Sonic. Sally, Bunnie and Rotor gasped when they saw Metal Sonic. They heard rumors about how Dr. Eggman made a successful robotic copy of Sonic. But to see it in person with their very own eyes was unbelievable.

"You just don't know when to stay in the junkyard!" said Sonic. Sonic and Metal Sonic charged at other and curled into balls. The two ricocheted around the room as they found. Dr. Eggman and the others barely avoided getting hit by either of the two. The Guardbot continued to fire at Sally and Bunnie.

"Don't let them get away!" said Dr. Eggman. The gunfire nearly hit the bat. "Stop them, no matter what!" said Dr. Eggman. Sally whacked the Guardbot, sending it flying. Bunnie then extended her robotic arm and punched the robot to pieces. Rotor then smashed the head of the robot with his fists. Sonic jumped in front of Dr. Eggman as Metal Sonic prepared to fire his laser eyes at Sonic. "Ahhh! No! Hold your fire!" cried Dr. Eggman. Sonic jumped out of the way just Metal Sonic fired his eye lasers. Dr. Eggman ducked and the lasers hit part of the machine.

(End Music)

In the process, Dr. Eggman pressed the button. "HAH! HERE WE GO!" said Dr. Eggman. But the mad doctor saw his machine sparking due to Metal Sonic's lasers damaging the machine. "Ughhhh! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" asked Dr. Eggman. Everybody in the base watched as the machine started glowing. Sally grabbed onto Sonic. Cluck started to crow loudly in alarm.

"Uh . . . oops," said Metal Sonic. The whole area started to get covered in a white void.

"What is that?" asked Amy.

"It used to be Chaos Control," said Knuckles. Very soon, everybody and everything in the area were warped away.

Meanwhile, a group of friends were having dinner at a campsite in the middle of the forest. The first was a human was a sixteen year old boy with black hair and brown eyes. He wore a blue collared shirt with short sleeves and white stripes, a red hat with a white cap brim and a white round Poké Ball design, a black undershirt underneath the shirt and red high top sneakers, dark blue jeans and black finger-less gloves with a red border. His backpack was one pocket, colored green with a white, slanted Poké Ball design on it, similar to his other uniforms. With the boy was a short, chubby, rodent-like creature with yellow fur all over its body. Its ears were long and come to a point with black tips. It had a small mouth, which resembled a sideways 3, it had black eyes with white pupils and two red circles on its cheeks. Its forearms were short and somewhat stubby, with 5 digits on each "hand" and its feet had three digits. It had two brown stripes on his back, and its tail was in the shape of a zigzag-styled lightning bolt, with a patch of brown fur at the base of the tail. A female will have a V-shaped notch at the end of its tail, which looked like the top of a heart. This one was male.

With the boy also, was his girlfriend; who was a girl around the boy's age with long honey blond hair and blue eyes. Her attire consisted of a light pink dress over a grayish-black tank-top with a white collar. The dress was tied at the collar with a blue ribbon. Over her dress, she wore a long red vest with large pockets. She also wore black stockings and brown boots. On her head, she wore a pink-red fedora with a black hatband, and carried a pink backpack with a black Poké Ball design to store her belongings.

There was a boy younger than the first boy with pale skin and medium length bright yellow messy hair that appeared somewhat electrified with a lightning-bolt shaped tuft of hair sprouting from the top of his head. He was small in stature and appeared to be a child prodigy. He wore large round glasses, which obscured his blue eyes, and a blue jumpsuit with a yellow collar, and yellow stripes on the knees and bottom cuffs. He sported a gray backpack with black straps. On his feet, he wore black shoes with white soles. The fourth human was a small and slender young girl with shiny golden-blonde hair tied in a side ponytail with an orange band, and sky blue eyes. She wore a brown short-sleeved top with a soft black bow on the neckline, knee-length black leggings covered by a puffy white skirt resembling a cloud, some pink colored Mary-Jane shoes on her feet and a yellow shoulder bag. She was the sister of the boy.

"Wow, Clemont. The meals you cook are delicious as always," said the first boy to the second.

"Pikachu," said the mouse.

"Thanks. I'm glad you and Pikachu like it, Ash," said Clemont.

"This meal is the best way to celebrate Ash's recent victory not just in the Lumiose City Conference, but the destruction of Team Flare," said the first girl. She began to clutch part of Ash's arm. "And you certainly earned it for your hard work, my love," said the girl sweetly. Ash blushed.

"Thanks, Serena," said Ash.

"Since you and Ash are together, it's only a matter of time before big brother finds his true love too," said the second girl.

"Bonnie, I'm not a hurry to find a girlfriend. I still need to perfect my inventions so that they won't explode all the time," said Clemont.

"But what if you spend so many years trying to perfect them, and by the time you do, it may be too late cause you'll be an old geezer," said Bonnie.

"Bonnie, you got to stop trying to hook your brother with random girls. That's not how love works," said Serena.

(Insert "Team Rocket Revealed" from Pokémon)

Just then, a black bomb rolled to near the campsite and exploded. Ash and his friends yelped as they were sent crashing to the ground by the explosion.

"What the?!" asked Ash.

"If you and your Pikachu thought you've seen the last of us, twerp, think again!" said a voice. Ash and Pikachu recognized the voice and let out annoyed groans. The one who spoke was Meowth. Jessie and James were with too. At this point, they had changed into new Team Rocket uniforms. They wore white & black uniforms with a red R on them. James had discarded his wheelchair for a hover chair. Jessie wore a mask to hide her hideously deformed face. Meowth had glued fake fur to replace his original fur.

"I would've thought your time in Prison Island would've made your consider a career change. I guess that was wishful thinking," said Ash.

"Ash, who are these guys?" asked Serena.

"Somebody I thought I'd never see again. They are Jessie, James and Meowth, three agents of the criminal organization, Team Rocket. They were always trying to steal Pikachu, thinking it was rare and valuable. In my last fight with them, they went too far. And after they were defeated again, they were sent to Prison Island for several years," said Ash.

"You have no idea of the torture we had to undergo as prisoners there!" said James.

"The warden interrogated us with cruel torture in order to learn the locations of the Team Rocket bases. And once they made us squeal, they sent the Guardians of the United Nations, or G.U.N. for short to hunt our fellow operatives, one by one. They even killed some of them if they didn't go quietly!" said Jessie.

"Pity they didn't kill Cassidy and Biff yet," said Meowth. Just then, a cell phone that Meowth had began to ring until he answered it.

"Yes?" asked Meowth.

"IT'S BUTCH, YOU FLEABAG!" yelled the caller. Butch then hung up on Meowth.

"Because of you, Team Rocket is hanging by a thread! And why? Because you wouldn't give us Pikachu! If you had let us steal him, we would've gotten promoted and Team Rocket would be ruling the world by now!" said Meowth.

"Still delusional as ever. I've gotten stronger since our last fight. Since you haven't been training your Pokémon, I'm going to beat you like I did in the past!" said Ash.

(End Music)

(Insert "Eye Contact! Team Rocket!" from Pokémon)

"You won't get the chance! Our biggest mistake, was not trying to kill you first to get what we want! Today, you and your new friends die by our hands!" said Jessie. Jessie, James and Meowth then took out some blasters they stole from the prison. Ash and his friends gasped when they saw the blasters. The three thieves immediately began to fire deadly lasers at them. Ash and co. yelped as they ran for cover. They hid behind a large boulder.

"Oh man. Jessie, James and Meowth have totally lost it," said Ash.

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Those meanies are trying to kill us!" cried Bonnie.

"Those three idiots never resorted to trying to murder Trainers to steal their Pokémon. I guess their time being locked up in prison has made them lose some of their sanity," said Ash.

"We can't send out our Pokémon. Those lasers could kill them," said Serena.

"And I don't have Latias to shield us from the lasers," said Ash. Just then, Clemont got an idea.

"I have a plan that should allow us to get out of here. But it's gonna require sacrificing my tech backpack," said Clemont. Jessie, James and Meowth continued to fire their laser guns like homicidal maniacs.

"Stop hiding behind those rocks and get hit by the lasers like men and women!" yelled Meowth. Clemont then took off his tech backpack and threw it into the middle of the battlefield. Team Rocket stopped firing when they saw it.

"Huh?" asked the three thieves. While the three were staring at it, Ash and his friends began to try to make a run for it. But James saw what was happening.

"They're getting away!" cried James. But before the three could run after Ash and co., they heard beeping coming from the backpack. Their eyes widened when they realized what was about to happen.

"IT'S A BOMB!" cried Jessie. KA-BOOM! The tech backpack exploded and Jessie, James and Meowth were caught in the explosion. The three thieves screamed as they were sent flying by the explosion. Unfortunately, Clemont underestimated the power of the explosion. For the explosion sent Ash and his friends flying, scattering them. They screamed as they were sent tumbling off a hill.

(End Music)

Meanwhile, Sonic started to regain consciousness. His vision was blurry for the moment. "Ugh. Man, I must've passed out or something!" said Sonic. When he regained his vision, the blue hedgehog heard a honking of a truck moving toward him. "Woaahhh!" cried Sonic as he ran from the truck. Almost immediately after that, a car almost ran him over. "Ugh!" cried Sonic as he ran aside. The blue hedgehog saw that he was surrounded by a bunch of road vehicles honking at him. Sonic looked at his surroundings and saw that he was in the middle of a city. A lot of humans were staring at him. "Where am I? What are they all staring at?" asked Sonic.

"What is this? Halloween?!" asked a truck driver. Just then, a couple of police officers arrived to where the traffic jam was happening. They were being led a by a female police officer. She had green hair and brown eyes. She wore a blue cap with a navy blue rim and a gold symbol, a white collared shirt with a navy tie, a long blue vest, a belt with a strapless purse on it, a blue-gray skirt, brown leggings, navy boots, white gloves and red lipstick. The female police officer was accompanied by a strange, canine-like creature. Its body was mainly blue with a spiky, yellow mane on its head and yellow tufts of fur on its haunches and around its front feet. Its mane stuck straight up and has three points. It had a jagged upper jaw, red eyes, and holes on either side of its head that seemed to be its ears. Each of its paws had three claws. Its blue, spike-like tail was bent at a sharp angle

"So they can talk . . . ," said Sonic.

"What is that thing, Officer Jenny?" asked Male police officer #1.

"It looks like a Pokémon resembling a big hedgehog," said Jenny.

"A blue hedgehog?" asked Male officer #1.

"And since when did Pokémon start wearing shoes and gloves?" asked Male officer #2.

Pokémon? Is that thing with the girl is what they call a Pokémon?, thought Sonic.

"This thing's not so different from Shaymin, who is a green hedgehog," said Jenny.

"Well, whatever it is, we better get it out of here," said Male Officer #2. He turned to Sonic. "Hey, buddy. Hey, buddy. Wanna ride with us down to the station?" asked Male Officer #2.

"Manectric," said Jenny's canine partner.

"Should I call for backup?" asked Male Officer #1. "I have three Skittys at home. I think I can handle this little fella," said Male Officer #1. He began to imitate kissing sounds. Sonic remained silent, crossing his arms. "Did you see that? That thing's got an attitude. A bad one," said Male officer #1.

"Yeah? Well he won't get away from me!" said Male Officer #2. He tried to jump at Sonic, but he dodged him easily.

"Huh?" asked Male Officer #1. "Why you little!" said Male Officer #1, taking out a button.

"Take it easy. I think we can handle this without getting rough," said Jenny.

"Yeah, but Jenny . . . ," said Male Officer #1.

"Duffy, get behind him," said Jenny.

"Right Jenny," said Duffy.

"Okay, now when I say the word, we're all going to jump into him at once. Alright then, is everyone ready? LET'S DO IT!" said Jenny. All the police officers jumped at Sonic and grabbed at him.

"Okay Jenny, I think I got its leg!" said Male Officer #3.

"I got him 'round its neck, Jenny," said Male Officer #2.

"Alright let's put him out at the count to three. One. Two. Three!" said Jenny. But they didn't realize until too late that they grabbed onto one another and pulled each other around.

"Whoaaa!" cried the police officers.

"Mm," said Sonic, shrugging at their failed attempt from the roof of a nearby car. Suddenly, another police officer netted Sonic.

"Don't worry, Jenny! I got him!" said Male Officer #4. Sonic suddenly began to run, dragging the net and the police officer with him. All the other police officers grabbed onto him to try to slow Sonic down. Just then, a police car was driving into the area and the two officers in the car saw Sonic running toward them. The police car braked and Sonic jumped onto the roof of the car. As for Officer Jenny and her comrades, they got shoved into the police car. It was very crowded for all six officers.

"Manetric, stop that thing!" cried Jenny loudly, due to the pain of being stuffed in the car. As Sonic was running, suddenly, Manectric stood in front of Sonic, growling.

"So, you wanna fight, huh?" asked Sonic. The first thing Manectric did was fire electricity at Sonic from its body. "Whoa!" cried Sonic as he dodged the incoming attack. Manectric fired another electrical blast. Sonic dodged that one too. "This thing can shoot lightning?!" asked Sonic. Manectric began to run real fast toward Sonic. But Sonic used his superior speed to jump out of the way. "You're too slow!" taunted Sonic. Manectric growled angrily and began to charge at Sonic, while its body was glowing with electricity. Sonic dodged by stepping aside and Manectric crashed into a nearby car. Manectric recovered and turned to face Sonic once again. Sonic then began to run around in circles around Manectric. Manectric tried to follow Sonic's movements, but Sonic was too fast. So fast that Manectric was starting to get dizzy as indicated by the swirls in its eyes. It then fell to the ground, all dizzy. Sonic began to run to try to find a way out of the city. Jenny grabbed the police car radio.

"Attention all units! Attention all units! A blue hedgehog is headed north on Central Street. Shut down all thoroughfares that lead into and out of Lumiose City and set up a roadblock just before the on-ramp to 101!" said Jenny. Two cops driving another police car happen to have got Jenny's message.

"I've never seen a blue hedgehog before, have you?" asked Cop #5. His partner chuckled.

"It must've been one of those fancy sports cars from overseas. Hey, if we catch it, maybe the captain will let us drive it," said Cop #6.

"I bet it has one of those cute little hood ornaments that looks like a hedgehog," said Cop #5. The two cops heard a thump. They turned and saw Sonic standing on the hood of their car.

"I don't know how I got here, but I've gotta find a way to get out," said Sonic. He then jumped off the car and ran off. The two cops' eyes widened in surprise.

"Hey, did you see . . . what I just saw?" asked Cop #6. "I think I did but I wish I didn't," said Cop #5. As Sonic was running, a helicopter happened to be flying above the highway.

"They were in hot pursuit and it got away? Can't those clowns even catch a hedgehog?" asked Pilot #1.

"There he is," said Pilot #2. The helicopter began to fly closer toward the highway and spotted Sonic.

"Visual contact. Subject's headed north on the Central Street extension. About a mile and a half from the entrance to 101," said Pilot #1.

"Roger, Delta 1. Unit 3, subject is headed your way. Repeat, subject is headed your way," said an Intel Policeman. Up ahead, was a barricade of police cars.

"Don't you worry. This hedgehog can't get under us, around us or through us. We'll stop him!" said one of the cops. But unfortunately for the cops, Sonic actually managed to jump over the blockade of vehicles. He landed on the other side safely and continued to run. "Well, he didn't get under us, around us or through us," said the cop. He let out a sheepish chuckle. The helicopter continued to follow Sonic.

"Ah, they're gonna love this down at headquarters," said Pilot #1 sheepishly. He began to contact HQ. "Ah, Delta 1 to base. I'm afraid that roadblock didn't work," said Pilot #1.

"No! Don't tell me he got through," said the Intel Policeman. "Okay," said Pilot #1.

"Ugh," said the Intel Policeman. The Intel Policeman turned to somebody in the headquarters. It was a 28 year old man with orange hair and green eyes. He wore a white and red racing outfit. His name was Sam Speed and he was the leader of a special police force called the Speed Team. It was a special unit of the Station Square Police Department that uses high speed race cars as police cruisers. But he was in Lumiose City cause he had finished helping out a crisis they needed his help to solve. "Bad news," said the Intel Policeman. The man chuckled.

"Don't worry. I think we've got what it takes to round up our furry little friend. Speed Team, get ready to roll!" said Sam. Sam and his four comrades walked down a long hallway that lead to their cars. They were currently undergoing minor maintenance. Their cars were Formula-One Cruisers. Sam's car was red, while the four others were white. "What's the temperature of the road surface tonight?" Sam asked a mechanic named Roger.

"It's about 70 degrees and dry as a bone," said Roger.

"Like breeze from the west?" asked Sam.

"Almost nothing," said Roger.

"Road, pitted or smooth?" asked Sam.

"Nice and smooth," said Roger.

"Then, let's see . . . give me the 5 groove medium-soft," said Sam.

"Here you go," said a mechanic as he rolled the said wheel. The mechanic drilled the wheels into the car. Sam put on his helmet. After all the adjustments to his car was made, Sam got into the cockpit of the car.

"I programmed gears 5 and 6 to freeway speed," said a mechanic named Jason.

"Great," said Sam.

"Oh, and I built that secret fuel tank on your car just like you asked me to," said Jason.

"Good work," said Sam, doing a thumbs up.

"Chief, they last spotted the subject in mile 79 on 101 north," said Duffy.

"Roger. Alright team, let's move out!" said Sam. The S-Team's cars exited out of the garage slowly. Then, they started to move faster and faster, with their sirens blaring.

(Insert "Cold Blood" from Pokémon)

Ash started to regain consciousness. He then saw that his friends were nowhere to be seen. "Pikachu! Serena! Clemont! Bonnie! Where are you?!" asked Ash. But he didn't get an answer from either of them. "Darn that Team Rocket. I thought I was finally rid of them forever. They're more obsessed with stealing Pikachu than ever before. I need to find Pikachu and my friends before Team Rocket finds them. Cause if they really intend to kill us to get our Pokémon, I need to find them quick," said Ash. He took out a Poké Ball. "Talonflame, go!" said Ash. He threw the ball and the said Pokémon was summoned. Talonflame was a bird-like Pokémon flew next to Sonic. It was an avian Pokémon that closely resembled a falcon. Its plumage was predominantly red-orange, with gray underparts and black tips on its long, pointed wings. Ovular orange spots dotted its underside, and flame patterns marked the boundaries between colors on its body. Large yellow talons extended from the shaggy feathers on its legs. Talonflame had a pointed crest atop its head and a black and yellow mask-like pattern around its eyes. Its black beak was hooked with a yellow cere. It also had long black tail-feathers marked with three yellow "v"-shapes. The tail ended in two points and had another feather sticking out of the base on each side, giving the impression of the fletching on the end of an arrow. It let out a squawk upon being summoned. "Talonflame, we've been separated from Pikachu and the others. Can you try to find them?" asked Ash. Talonflame nodded and took to the sky. "Pikachu, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, please be safe," said Ash.

Elsewhere, Sonic was sitting on top of a lamp post. "The sky looks the same. So do the stars and the moon," said Sonic. He then remembered when Dr. Eggman's energy amplifier went haywire and caused Chaos Control. "I guess Chaos Control must have sent me here. I've traveled through space. Did I travel through time too? Am I the only one here?" asked Sonic. Are all the others, gone?, thought Sonic. "Well, guess I'll find out soon enough!" said Sonic. He jumped off of the lamp post. Just then, the Speed Team arrived and stopped in front of Sonic. Sam stepped out of his car.

"Hi there! You're a hard hog to keep up with," said Sam. Sonic was about to turn away. "Hey, hold on! We don't get such fast company very often," said Sam, taking off his helmet. "In fact, I'm glad you showed up. This place is way too peaceful. Over the last twelve months, I've only made one arrest. Some joker got it into his head that he was a hot-shot driver. Had his own Formula-One car and everything. I guess he thought he give me a run for my money," said Sam. Sonic turned back slight in curiosity. "But it was all over in a minute. It took me longer than that to suit up!" said Sam. Sonic turned, now facing Sam. He smirked in amusement with his hands on his hips. Sam chuckled. "He never had a chance. Of course it's our own fault, this town's dull mainly because of us. You see, we're the high-speed pursuit unit, the S-Team. And I'm the leader of the team. They call me the 'Highway Star'. So even if you think you're the fastest thing around, think again!" said Sam. The other four cars started up again. Sonic gasped and started to run. The S-Team started to chase after the blue hedgehog. Run fast, hedgehog! I wanna be the one to catch you!, thought Sam. The chase was on! Sonic ran as fast as his legs could carry him, with the four white cars chasing after him.

"Ha, the S-Team eh? The 'S' must stand for 'slow-motion'," said Sonic. He chuckled and began to speed up.

"It's accelerating! Boost your rear-wing angle to 20 degrees!" said S-Team Member 1.

"Roger," said S-Team Member 2. They pressed a button, which allowed the S-Team Members to catch up to Sonic.

"Well, well, well! It's starting to look like the rush hour!" said Sonic. Suddenly, the cars started to close in on the blue hedgehog. "Oh no, how will I ever escape?" asked Sonic in a taunting voice. He then chuckled and disappeared.

"Where is he? Did I run him over?" asked S-Team Member 2. Suddenly, S-Team Member 2 felt a tap on his car's window. He turned around and saw Sonic running alongside his car. "Huh?" asked S-Team Member 2. He then ran past him. He went on top of another and peeking through the car's windshield. He was standing on top of it too.

"Huh? Hey you! This is dangerous! It's irresponsible! What happens if kids start trying this?" asked Hector. Sonic turned to the readers.

"Kids, don't use Formula-One race cars to chase hedgehogs!" said Sonic. He dismounted off the car and continued to run.

"You're not gonna treat the S-Team like chumps! We'll teach you a lesson! Boost all wings .5 degrees and let's get this guy!" said Hector.

"Roger," said another member. The wing frames of the cars adjusted themselves accordingly, allowing each member to move faster.

"Full throttle!" said Hector.

"Huh?!" asked Hector. He saw Sonic running backwards with a smirk on his face. "What the?! How can . . . ? It's playing with us!" said Hector.

"Where did this thing come from?" asked S-Team Member 3.

"Chief, you gotta do something!" said Hector. Sam was starting to catch up with his team.

"Playtime is now officially over! Attention all units, open the center line!" said Sam. Hector and the other S-Team officers split to clear a path between them for their leader to pass. "I didn't think I have to do this but I have no choice. I will not have anybody, faster than me, on my highway!" said Sam. Sam activated his Super Nitro, which was the secret tank that was installed earlier. It allowed him to rocket pass his comrades and accelerating his car to over 400 mph. Sonic ran out of the way. Sonic then began to run after Sam. Sam chuckled. "The only way he can beat me now is if he goes supersonic!" said Sam. He chuckled again. Sonic began to run faster and faster. He was indeed reaching supersonic speeds. He began to run past Sam. "A sonic boom! He's moving faster than the speed of sound!" cried Sam.

"Chief, you're running out of road!" said one of Sam's comrades. Sam deployed three parachutes on his car and stepped on the brake pedal, hard. He stopped just in time. Sonic then saw that it was the end of the road. He ran past the edge and was catapulted into the air. He passed by several wind turbines. Since he past by them so fast, they accelerated with his speed. This caused the lights of Lumiose City to increase in brightness. Sonic looked down at the bright city.

"Maybe this place isn't so bad. At least I know somebody who I can have fun with!" said Sonic, turning to where Sam had stopped. This was the start of a new rivalry. As he was flying in the air, Ash's Talonflame flew up next to him. The bird Pokémon squawked in surprise and let out a burst of flames from its beak at Sonic. Sonic got burned by the flames and was black as soot. "Hey! What's the big deal?!" cried Sonic. Suddenly, he began to fall out of the sky. Sonic screamed as he was falling. Talonflame just stared in confusion. Sonic fell toward a forest, landing in the middle of the trees. The tress softened his landing and he fell on the soft grass. "It wasn't pretty. But at least I'm on solid ground," said Sonic.

Meanwhile, Pikachu woke up and saw he was lost in the forest. And unfortunately, Ash and co. were nowhere to be seen either. "Oh no! Ash, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, where are you?!" called Pikachu. But there was no answer. "Great. Just great. Jessie, James and Meowth had to break out of prison. I thought I was finally free of those idiots. Now they're gonna try to steal me again. I got to find Ash and his friends before they do!" said Pikachu. He began to run through the forest to try to find Ash and co. Just then, he saw something that caught his attention. "Huh?" asked Pikachu. He walked closer to try to see who or what it was. It was Princess Sally Acorn. She was unconscious, face down. "Who is that?" asked Pikachu.

Sneak Peek

On the next episode of Sonic X and Pokémon, Pikachu runs into Sally Acorn and the two look for Ash and co. while trying to avoid Team Rocket. Ash and his friends also try to find each other as well. But Team Rocket isn't the only danger our heroes have to worry about? Metal Sonic is on Earth too! Will our heroes reunite with each other? How far will Team Rocket go to get what they want?! And even after defeating Team Rocket, can our heroes beat Metal Sonic?! Find out, in "Team Rocket's Revenge! Metal Sonic Strikes Back!" on Sonic X and Pokémon!

I hope you enjoyed reading the first episode of this new crossover fanfiction. As you read, Ash and Pikachu haven't seen Team Rocket since Hoenn. As for what event they were put in jail, you'll see as the series progresses. In this fanfiction, Ash has won every Pokémon League challenge up to this point. Sally Acorn, Bunnie Rabbot, Rotor Walrus, Metal Sonic and Snively are just a few of the characters outside of Sonic X that I'm gonna incorporate.
