Chapter 2: Team Placement

Note: Alright my doods! Here is the next chapter of the story and from what it seems, you guys certainly liked this story so I'll continue with it.

I'll further drive the point, it is a quick and eventual OP Naruto Story so he will get on par with the likes of highly experienced Shinobi with sheer power and versatility.

Now, someone commented on romance for Naruto so I'll explain what will be happening.

I'll be polling a vote from you guys for the next couple of chapters so you can determine who's the romance but I'll only be giving four options of who would be the best for the story and these choices are rather underrated in my opinion.

And I'm not above using Fem Version of Characters if they are better suited than actual females.

The spiky blonde genin chuckled nervously as he scratched his head as a way to alleviate the pain that the boy had succumbed to after smashing his head into the wooden desk.

Iruka was staring at Naruto with comical widened eyes almost like he couldn't even believe Naruto suddenly appeared from the ceiling and muttered "…Did Asuma spike the weed?" He muttered rather concerningly then said "Uhhh…Naruto?" That was all the scarred man could mutter as he was still reeling from shock.

Naruto chuckled nervously before sniffing the air slightly, smelling burned leaves on the senseis breath, muttering "Did you smoke before starting today?"

"Yeah, teaching you kids wears me out…" Iruka muttered a response before coughing into his hand "Naruto Uzumaki!"

"Y-yes!" Naruto exclaimed as he quickly got off the desk as he became worried for a sudden reason, not sure why but the blonde always feared Iruka especially his Big Head Jutsu.

"Since you decided to arrive late today on the day of team placement, you'll be spending extra time with me with a lecture about punctuation, Being Punctuate is a Key Component as a Shinobi!" Iruka lectured the boy who nodded swiftly at this as Naruto didn't like being lectured but was always open to being told what he did wrong by Iruka.

Unlike the many others who reprimanded him for the littlest of things.

Naruto seemed to nod at this embarrassment while the other kids his age of 16 chuckled and giggled behind him except for one, Hinata Hyuuga.

A rather developed young woman with a hoodie hiding her rather large assets despite them being so large that they didn't really hide anything and was considered by the boys as the most erotic of the girls in their school year, right next to Ino due to her very beautiful looks.

Hinata apparently was pressing her thumbs together while blushing lightly at the blonde, she didn't giggle like the rest of the class, even Shikamaru Nara chuckled, but didn't really speak up to try and defend his lateness as she had done several times in the past.

Naruto knew the Hyuuga Woman had a crush on him, a deep one, but the thing is that the spiky blonde genin didn't have the heart to crush her; he didn't really see her as a love interest but rather a caring older sister.

Naruto liked a girl who wasn't shy and more outspoken, would smack the blonde for any of his stupid ideas when warranted and would love him unconditionally to even try to protect him from threats.

The Pale Eyed Genin would certainly protect him, she also needed to be strong enough to defend herself from said threats.

Iruka continued with his lecture "So right after Team Placements, you'll be coming with me, understand me Naruto?! You're a Shinobi now! It's time you started acting responsible!" Now the scarred chunin was simply extending this lecture for dramatic effect.

"Yes yes Sensei, I apologize." Naruto said while faking his sincerity.

Iruka saw this and smiled gently as that was what he expected from the blonde "Good, now take your seat Naruto so I can continue where you rudely interrupted me with your 'Shunshin*'" The scarred chunin said as he cleverly deceived the whole class that what happened was Shunshin instead of one of the rings, he already picked up what Naruto meant moments earlier.

Naruto quickly nodded and went to sit down at his assigned seat which was directly next Shino, the Bug Master of the Aburame Clan and the Blonde Orphan were in fact really good friends as Shino wasn't that much of a conversationalist but he held logic that Naruto clung too deeply while Naruto was the ray of sunshine that Shino wanted since it made his world view brighter.

"Why were you late Naruto?" Shino asked suddenly in a hushed voice as Iruka started listing off teams.

Naruto simply shrugged muttering "Had a really weird dream, and I woke up late."

"What was it about? Having such vivid dreams usually hold some meaning to them" The bug man exclaimed as he tried to help his friend to make sense of what happened to cause him to be late to class especially since the hyperactive genin sometimes arrived earlier than most, while he wasn't out pranking at least.

Naruto thinks for a moment before concluding that the Aburame bug master was trustworthy with his newest and deadliest secret "I have a dream about an old guy, a monk sort of figure, he was explaining the type of power I have, it's in the rings that I have on my fingers" The blonde said as he brandished the ten rings on his fingers which was on the desk so Iruka doesn't call him out.

The black haired man looks down towards the rings, the bugs that Shino has within his body was screaming that those rings were incredibly dangerous, they and in turn Shino felt immense power radiating off of those ten colorful rings 'Interesting, I never heard of an ancient Shinobi wielding ten rings that house chakra before…this is new, Naruto, your certainly something else' "Hmmm, Perhaps the soul of the former wearer of those rings are reaching out to you. Pretty far fetched for sure but even you wouldn't have that sort of active imagination, you certainly do have the creativeness down"

The spiky blonde smiled at the bug user as Shino, as always, hit the problem on the head as that was exactly what had happened "Yeah, guess so. These rings are actually chakra made into form. Some old guy made them in the past and Iruka-Sensei bought them for me from a creepy old lady in a merchant's cart"

The Clansman raised an eyebrow at that as he didn't expect those metallic looking rings to be made directly from chakra 'Well that explains why my hive is screaming about how dangerous they are… Chakra is given a physical form…' "Naruto, sometime today, could you perhaps lead me to this old ladies merchant cart so I may ask more about these rings?"

"Sure, maybe after my lecture, could you sneak away long enough from your sensei so you can meet me in the southern village?" Naruto whispered which Shino nodded

Iruka spoke up again as he listed off another team moments prior "Alright, Team Seven will consist, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno-" Iruka was interrupted by a sudden cheer by the aforementioned young woman with long pink hair as Sakura but quieted down when she saw the tanned skinned man's glare

"-and Kiba Inuzuka-"

"What!? Why do we get dog breath!?" Sakura, the pink girl in the red dress said, which made her gulp as Iruka glared again.

"Yes Sakura, these teams were made by the Hokage himself, however unlike previous generations where the teams were formed due to traditions, this generation of genins will follow with team coercion and potential this time." The scarred chunin exclaimed then continued "Your Sensei will be Kakashi Hatake"

He furthers down the line "Team 8 will consist of Hinata Hyuuga, Ino Yamanaka and Choji Akimichi, your Sensei will be Kurunai Yuhi"

Ino Yamanaka, a young woman with platinum blonde hair and mesmerizing blue eyes shrieks "Why!? Why do I have to be on a team with Fattie and Balloon Tits!?" Ino also flinched at the scarred Chunin's glare then sat back down.

"And the final team, Team 10 will consist of Shino Aburame, Shikamaru Nara and Naruto Uzumaki, your sensei is Asuma Sarutobi" Iruka said before putting down the paper "Now then, as of now, you all are now graduated Genin of the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Konoha! Be proud that today, your lives will be spent on protecting the village and her people"

The class cheered at this while one brooding loner remained quiet until Iruka spoke up "Now then, Naruto, you'll be coming with me now. I'll make sure to send you out when your Sensei gets here" Iruka said as he and Naruto left the room across the hallway.

The door closed behind Iruka after the blonde entered quickly "Ok explain Naruto, how the hell did you fall into the class! I know for a fact that wasn't Shunshin, it looked like you bordered on Teleportation with Space-Time Ninjutsu which I should also say, that it's the hardest and most complex concept in the whole art of Ninjutsu, Only several individuals in the whole entirety of Ninja History was able to reach that point with the Fourth Hokage being the most recent Shinobi to reach that level."

Naruto shrugged as he sat down at the teacher's desk "I have no clue Iruka-Sensei, I just had a dream of an old guy explaining these rings to me then when I was late for the team placement, I suddenly fell into a portal that dropped me in the class. I think it was the ring of anti-matter"

"Ring of Anti-Matter?" The scarred ninja asked as he was unfamiliar with the term but assumed it was one of the rings that Naruto had gotten.

The spiky genin gave a nod at this "Yeah, it's the cyan ring" Naruto said as he raised his left hand up showing the cyan ring of his ring finger "The old guy said it would allow me to teleport to all sorts of places and breach dimensions? Whatever he meant by that"

Iruka looked dumbfounded at this, hearing Naruto explaining what the ring of anti matter does as if it sounded normal to him "Naruto! The base concept of Space-Time Ninjutsu is that by utilizing it, you temporarily push yourself to an alternate dimension and force yourself back into this world at a different location, the closest we got to this in the modern age was the Hokage's Hiraishin*"

"Oh yeah, that sounds awesome, so does my use of Space-Time Ninjutsu become equivalent to the Hiraishin?" The blonde asked the Sensei of the school.

Iruka sighed as he walked towards the desk Naruto had, opening the drawer which exposed a bottle of brown liquid and two glasses, The scarred man pulled the bottle out and placed it on the desk showing it was a bottle of Goken Whiskey, high quality whiskey produced by the Fire Daimyo's own alcohol makers "Listen Naruto, since your now a Shinobi of the hidden leaf, your essentially seen as an adult now so your now capable of drinking this with me" the man then smiled at the blonde as he poured two drinks of the high quality whiskey.

"Enjoy this Naruto, until you garner enough of a paycheck by rising through the ranks, then you'll be able to drink more of this. So think of it as a once in a long while treat" the two would then clink the glasses together and takes a swig.
