It was a calm morning on Sunday, the 5th of November as head of the Royal Navy, Queen Elizabeth stepped out onto the deck of Eagle II's Audacious carrier.

Also out on the deck were the head of the Royal Knights, King George 5 along with the Royal Knights Prince of Wales and Vanguard and the head of the maid corps, Lady Belfast, she had just finished giving everyone special eye and ear protection for the test they were about to witness.

"Is the bomb ready and the ships in position?" Queen Elizabeth asked the headmaid.

"They are, your majesty, you may detonate when ready."

Parked in the shallow waters of the Ducie island were the mass-produced ships being used as targets.

An Illustrious and 6 Eagle class aircraft carriers along with 6 Revenge class Super-Dreadnought Battleships with 4 J and G class Destroyers and 4 River and Loch class Frigates.

Each of the girls put on their protection as Queen Elizabeth was handed the button

'3, 2, 1' she said in her head as her finger pressed the bomb release.

The Blue Sun-1 Neutron bomb fell from the top of the tower falling until it hit the ground.

A bright flash filled the air as the bomb exploded, and every ship around the bomb as sand and coral was thrown into the air.

The mushroom cloud climbed into the sky as the cloud parted and the ships shook as the shockwave passed through the water.

They continued watching the mushroom cloud continuing to climb higher into the sky.

The column started to collapse.

The water, sand and coral rained down as the mushroom cloud topped out at 58 miles high.

What the girls did not know was the shockwave from the explosion circled the world 5 times with 5 different atmospheric wave pressures recorded in New Zealand.

Eagle-II scrambled modified Fairey Gannets with air sampling equipment.

They waited for over an hour as the air sampling aircraft collected samples.

Returning to the Royal Isles via the microlayer transference system however while the samples and film were offloaded, Queen Elizabeth and the other kansen were moved for decontamination procedures.

Later that night

Queen Elizabeth was in her study, "Come in."

"Warspite entered, "Your majesty, I have the results of the samples collected from the test site."

"Well, what were they?" Queen-Elizabeth asked.

"Negative, no trace of radiation," Warspite said to her.

"Whoa, do you realise what this means Warspite?" Queen Elizabeth asked her.

"I do," Warspite responded.

"We have created a replacement for those dirty older nuclear weapons," Queen Elizabeth said.

"Yes we have, the Northern Parliament and Eagle Union will catch up to us, so can you inform the Admiralty that I am recommending the transfer of all Red Beard tactical nukes into reserve and the acceleration of the WE.177 family of weapons to fit them with e-cube energy based warheads and do the same for our Resolution shipgirls," Queen-Elizabeth said.

"Of course Your Majesty, by the way, the RAF from what I understand want to replace their Yellow Sun with Blue Sun and their Red Beards with WE.177 but also e-cube-based warheads for Blue Streak, Yellow Hammer."

"I think e-cube-based warheads will be going into the Blue Water missile one would suspect," Warspite remarked.

"Thank you Warspite, you may leave now," Elizabeth said.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Queen Elizabeth watched Warspite leave before resuming her tea.

The next day, Queen Elizabeth, Warspite and Hood were meeting nearby was a radio,

"Good morning, the largest man-made nuclear explosion ever carried out by man was carried out yesterday by the Royal Isles," Elizabeth turned off the radio.

"So I expect they will be condemning us but if they do they will be hypocrites if they do," Elizabeth said between sips of tea.

"Hood, I want you to try and get Eagle Union and Northern Parliament to come to the negotiating table over a test ban treaty as after seeing that explosion yesterday, I think we should stop playing with this fire we started," Elizabeth said to the former battlecruiser.

"Yes Your Majesty, I think after we let the footage become public, support for it will go up," Hood said as the 3 shipgirls continued their tea.

On the 5th of August 1963, the Partial Nuclear Test Ban treaty was signed by the Royal Isles Empire, Eagle Union and Northern Parliament with it coming into effect on the 10th of October 1963.
