Frisk adjusted her black dress and picked up her papers for Asgore's funeral. She looked over to Flowey, who was avoiding eye contact with her. He's been acting odd lately, so she's been avoid talking to him, giving him some space. She then heard a knock on her bedroom door

Toriel: Frisk, it's time to leave.

Frisk sighed and turned to leave her room. Toriel and Frisk walked over to Toriel's new car. Frisk got into the driver's seat, while Toriel looked over Frisk's speech notes. Toriel then looked to Frisk, who was trying her best to hide her emotions

Toriel: Frisk...

Toriel looked out the front of the car and sighed

Toriel: You know I'm not perfect, right?

Frisk raised an eyebrow

Frisk: What do you mean? You were the perfect mom.

Toriel: But I wasn't the perfect wife. I let him down...

Toriel was on the verge of crying, but held back her tears

Toriel: When he needed me most, after our children died, I wasn't there for him. And when I learned her declared war on humanity, I wasn't there to stop him. Instead I fled, leaving him to regret everything alone. I wasn't a good wife Frisk...I...

Toriel began to sob into her hands, well I should one eyeFrisk pulled the car over and turned to Toriel.

Frisk: Mom, it wasn't your fault. You made a bad choice, you both did. Neither one of you were the reason you broke up and never talked again. I know you are feeling regret about never being able to talk to him again, but he wouldn't want you to grieve over him. Okay?

Toriel whipped a tear from her eye and nodded. Frisk nodded and they started to drive over to the funeral home.
