Just some random slice of life for Chichi's birthday :)

It had been 3 months since Goku returned from Yardrat and everyone had been invited to Capsule Corporation for a reunion and birthday celebrations for Chichi.

After Goku had a talk with his friends about things, Bulma decided to take it upon herself to host the party and wanted to ensure Chichi had her birthday celebrated, too. Chichi refused the offer at first, which Bulma had a feeling would happen. Chichi wanted to celebrate her birthday with her husband, son and father in the mountains, she wasn't interested in celebrating it with Goku's friends. But, after her husband spoke to her about it, and she considered his words, she decided to give it a try.

Her father didn't join them for the party, he had business to attend to at Mount Frypan, but they had arranged for a small meal for just their family the following day, which was her actual birthday.

The Son family were the last to arrive to the party, which was no shock there, Goku always had a knack for being late. Chichi was hesitant to mingle at first, and simply stayed at Goku's side whilst Gohan ran off to see Piccolo, who had begrudgingly been forced to come by the young child. But, after an hour or so, she let her husband run off to the food table and she stood with Bulma and a few others talking.

Goku was happily pigging out at the food table when Yamcha and Krillin approached him.

"Thought we'd find you over here" Krillin chuckled.

"Oh, hey guys, wassup?" he spoke with a mouth full of food.

"You never change, Goku" Yamcha laughed.

"How's things?" Krillin asked his friend. Goku swallowed down his food this time before speaking.

"Ye, good, you?"

"All good. We've started doing some training" Krillin told him.

"That's great, Krillin. Maybe once this is all over with, we can have a match" Goku grinned at the prospect. Krillin laughed nervously.

"What, an' get my ass beat? I don't think so. You're way out of my league now, buddy"

"Aw, but we can still fight for fun. I won't turn into a Super Saiyan, I promise" Goku pouted.

"Goku, ya don't need to transform, you'd still kick our asses" Yamcha laughed out. Goku rubbed his finger under his nose bashfully.

"To think I once use to be on par with you" Krillin reminisced.

"Ye, for like 5 minutes" Yamcha added. They all chuckled. Yamcha then caught sight of their old master behind Goku, stalking up to the women as they talked. The old man innocently conversed, but his eyes were looking somewhere they shouldn't have been.

"Roshi, man, he has no shame" Yamcha sighed out. Both Goku and Krillin peered over at the women to see Roshi ogling them. Roshi then gave his full attention to Chichi.

"Uh, aren't ya gonna do something?" Yamcha asked.

"Whaddya mean?" Goku asked him cluelessly as he turned back to his plate, mid-bite of his food.

"Master Roshi is staring at your wife's breasts, shouldn't you be over there stopping him?" Yamcha pressed.

Goku glanced over at his wife again, who had her back to him, the old master eyeing up her breasts, not making it at all subtle.

"Nah, she's fine" Goku replied casually before digging into some more of the chicken wings. Yamcha exchanged a bewildered look with Krillin.

"Dude, are you serious? Your wife-" Yamcha was cut short when the sound of an old man's scream echoed throughout the gardens of Capsule Corp, followed by a loud crash as he was sent flying into a load of tables.

"Well, damn" Yamcha uttered, his eyes wide after witnessing the small wife of Son Goku punch Roshi so hard she sent him flying.

"She's still as tough as I remember" Krillin added in, still equally shocked by the display.

"Told ya" Goku replied, grinning after swallowing down his chicken wing. As Yamcha and Krillin continued to converse about her strength, Goku took a sneaky glance at his wife over his shoulder. She turned her body slightly and her eyes caught his. He mouthed a small 'you ok?' To which she simply nodded proudly, making him smile. He gave her a quick wink before returning to his food.

Yep, his little wife was more than fine. It did annoy him that the old man was looking at her breasts, that stuff was only meant for him! But, he knew his wife could take care of herself. He never doubted that.

As he started on a plate of spring rolls, Goku found himself looking over at her again. She looked beautiful today, not that she didn't any other day, but she wore one of her figure-hugging dresses and heels and he hadn't seen her wear something like this in the longest time. She looked so good. She was talking to Tien, Bulma and Mrs Briefs and he couldn't help but smile as he munched away. Things had been so tough for her, his friends had treated her so badly following his death against his brother. He'd had it out with his friends, he'd made it abundantly clear that he was pissed off and really disappointed in them, and he tried to move past it after they apologised.

He was able to move on from it, but he never forgot about it. It was at a time like this that he remembered it all, just like it was yesterday. And yet here his little wife was, conversing with them, trying with them, and he was so proud of her for that.

His eyes caught sight of his little son as he ran past his mother, laughing hysterically as he was playfully chased by Puar. Goku snorted a laugh as he ate, it was so good to see his son laughing. After everything that had happened, and what they soon had to face in 3 year's time, his son needed this. He needed to be a child again.

Goku held a lot of guilt for what his son had to endure in his short life, he was pretty sure it would never go away. He never wanted this for Gohan. He wanted him to learn martial arts of course, it was something he wanted to pass down to him because it was a part of him. Goku didn't know much else, so he wanted to teach him what he knew. But, he never wanted his son to get mixed up with the Saiyans and the Ginyu Force … and then Frieza.

Didn't matter that he was his son, didn't matter how strong he was. He never wanted his son in danger. If he'd known the dangers of Namek, he never would have let him go.

And now they had to prepare for probably the biggest fight of their lives. In 3 years' time, they would be fighting 2 androids, who were incredibly powerful. They had 3 years to prepare, it was gonna be a tough few years ahead of them.

He was so proud of his son, loved the little guy with everything he had.

But, yeah, Gohan needed this.

Goku picked up his beer and chugged some of the ice cold liquid down his throat before continuing his watch. Tien had joined them at the table and he found himself watching his friends as they talked together.

Master Roshi could be seen apologising sheepishly to Chichi before scrambling off with a fat lip to grab himself a beer. Mrs Briefs and Bulma laughed at him, Chichi shaking her head at the lecherous old man as he scurried away in fear.

Oolong was hissing with laughter at Roshi when he saw his fat lip, Chiaotzu giggling behind his hands as he sat with Oolong at the table.

Goku reached for a large bowl of rice, his eyes catching two bodies lurking in the shadows, beneath the trees. Goku shook his head amusedly, both Vegeta and Piccolo sat there minding their own business, backs to each other, not at all interacting with anyone at the party. Piccolo stood silently under the trees, eyes closed, whilst Vegeta ate the food he scavenged together before everyone turned up. Or more specifically, before Goku turned up.

As Goku quietly ate his egg rice with some helpings of noodles, he took in all the sounds around him as his friends talked, laughed and danced.

Goku smiled a little sadly.

This was the reunion they should've had 2 years ago.

Chichi found herself peering around at the others as Bulma spoke with her mother. Chichi had a glass of wine in her hand, which she'd barely touched. She wasn't a big drinker, but Bulma insisted she had a glass for her birthday. Her eyes fell on her sweet husband, who was happily wolfing down everything at the food table. She silently laughed to herself as she watched him. He may have been a big boy, but she honestly wondered where he packed all of that food.

Her eyes took note of the white shirt he wore and blue jeans. He'd actually made an effort today, opting to not wear his usual orange and blue Gi. He'd done that a few times lately, normally on a Sunday which was their family day, the only day they didn't train. She liked seeing him wear normal clothes. He always looked good in anything he wore, but she especially loved him in a shirt and jeans. She felt a small tug at her dress a moment later, distracting her from her thoughts, and looked down to see her son standing there with a big smile on his face.

"Hey, mom? Can I camp out with Mr. Piccolo tonight, please?!" he asked her.

"Camp out? Where?" she wondered.

"By the waterfall. Mr. Piccolo likes it down there, he meditates there a lot, he said it's calming. He said I can go with him if I like. It would be good for my training" Gohan told her. Chichi eyed Piccolo, lurking in the shadows like the creep that he was. She still didn't like him, but she at least trusted him enough to know he wouldn't harm her son anymore. She also made a promise to her son that she would try her best to get along with Piccolo and accept their friendship.

"Please, mom, can I? I really want to! Just for one night! I promise I will do my homework when i'm back tomorrow, because it's Sunday, so no training!" Gohan pressed even more, fluttering those big dark eyes at her, pouting just like his father did. And she was a sucker for him, so how could she say no to his son? She rolled her eyes.

"Okay, Gohan, just for one night" she gave in. Gohan jumped up in joy.

"YEAH! Thanks, mom!" he cheered and run off back to Piccolo. Chichi shook her head at him, her eyes then catching her husband who had witnessed the whole thing. He raised his eyebrows at her, surprised she was allowing him to camp out with Piccolo. He knew how much she disliked him, but was also very aware of the fact that she was trying for their son. He then gave her a suggestive little smile, realising they'd have the whole house to themselves. Chichi felt her cheeks flushing at his devious stare.

'Behave' she mouthed to him from across the garden. That just made him grin even wider. Chichi huffed out a laugh at her husband, before Mrs. Briefs stole her attention, pulling her back into their conversation.

As Goku continued to gaze at his wife, he failed to notice his friends calling his name.

"Earth to Goku" Krillin called, Yamcha extending his hand to wave it in front of Goku's face. Goku shook his head, shaking him from his gaze and he eyed his friends.

"Huh?" He uttered. They all laughed at him.

"Love struck, buddy?" Krillin teased him. Goku huffed out a laugh, a small blush tinting his cheeks, his eyes dipping to look at the table. His friends laughed at his bashfulness.

"Still can't believe you're married" Yamcha spoke, "I thought I'd be the first one to get married"

"Well, there's still time" Krillin nudged Yamcha with his elbow, "Just need to ask her"

Yamcha glanced over at Bulma briefly, who continued talking to her mother and Chichi, before back at his friends.

"I dunno, maybe" he nervously spoke.

"Dude, c'mon, ya been together long enough. Stop bein' a pussy! If Goku can do it, you can do it"

"Goku didn't even know what he was doing! He didn't even need to try! She pursued him! He just went with it and thought fuck it, why not, let's get married!" Yamcha grumbled.

"Hey, give our guy here some credit" Tien butted in, standing behind Goku and proudly placing his hands on the smaller man's shoulders, "he may not have known what he was doing then, but he sure does now. Happily married for a few years now, has a son, and the strongest man in the Universe"

Goku nodded, quite proud of that.

"Man, Goku, you got game. It's not fair" Yamcha pouted.

"Nah" Goku responded, his eyes peering back over at his wife, "I'm just lucky".

The night was drawing in, and after singing happy birthday to Chichi and everyone tucking into some cake, Goku and Chichi decided to head home. Gohan had already left with Piccolo, so the couple decided to make good use of the time they had alone. It was also the first time they'd been completely alone since Goku's return from Space. It was certainly overdue.

The couple walked into their bedroom and Chichi was removing her heels whilst Goku unbuttoned his shirt.

"So, did ya enjoy it?" Goku asked her, removing his shirt and throwing it over his wife's vanity chair.

"Ye, it was nice. Better than I expected" she admitted honestly, removing her dangle earrings.

"I'm glad. I know ya weren't so fussed about goin'"

"Well, I know how much you want me to try with your friends. And it was nice of Bulma to make it a birthday celebration. The cake was lovely" Chichi thought. She still wasn't completely sold on the idea of befriending the blue-haired woman, she still didn't fully trust her, but she really did want to try for her husband. Goku undid the belt to his jeans, but left it hang open and ambled over to his little wife. He took her hands in his and gave her a warm smile.

"I really appreciate ya tryin' with 'em. I know it ain't easy after everythin' that's happened. I'm still not happy for how they handled things, but I don't wanna be angry forever" he told her gently.

"I know, honey"

"But, if ya don't wanna go down that road, I understand. Whatever ya wanna do, I got ya back" he assured her, his large hands coming up to cup her soft cheeks, his thumbs brushing against her porcelain skin.

"You got my back?" she repeated with a sweet smile, her dainty hands finding his stomach, her fingers caressing his hot skin.

"Always" he gave her a cheeky wink, making her giggle.

"Well, I got your back too, just so you know" she added.

"Good" he whispered, before dipping his head and gently sealing her lips with his. Chichi hummed contently against her husband's soft lips, her hands snaking up his rock hard abs to rest on his broad chest. She felt his tongue slide against her bottom lip, so she opened her mouth to him, his tongue darting inside to sensually play with hers. He shortly ended the kiss, his nose lovingly rubbing against hers.

"Pull my pants down" he whispered against her lips. She pulled back slightly and eyed him curiously.

"Pull your pants down?" she repeated.

"Ye, I got a surprise for ya" he grinned. Chichi giggled.

"Goku, I can already feel you're happy to see me" she told him, his semi-hard on prodding her stomach rather insistently.

"Not that, it's a different surprise"

"It is? Like what?" she wondered.

"Just pull 'em down an' you'll see". Chichi had no idea what he was going on about, but she undid his jeans buttons and pulled down the zip and yanked his jeans down his large thighs.

"Oooh" she cooed, when she realised what the surprise was.

"Ya favourite" he said proudly. He was wearing his tight (very tight), black boxer shorts, that left nothing to the imagination. He didn't wear them very often, he hated tight clothes, he prefered his baggy boxers. But, tonight, he wanted to surprise her by wearing them, because she loved it when he did. Whether his son was home or not, he was already planning on ravaging her tonight.

"Mmm, they are my favourite" she admired his thick, muscular legs before her eyes drifted up to his thick bulge that was straining against the thin material.

"Y'always wear them special panty sets for me, so i'm wearin' mine for you" he told her proudly, shaking his butt, letting his jeans hit his ankles, making his little wife laugh.

"Well, I love the surprise" she told him, her small hands reaching around to grab his butt cheeks, making him grunt in satisfaction.

"Anything else up your sleeve?" she whispered to him, keading his firm butt cheeks in her palms.

"How 'bout I show ya" he whispered back, his mouth claiming hers a second later in a fierce kiss.

Mmm, yes, she thought as her husband began trailing hot kisses down her neck, best early birthday present ever.

"Happy birthday, Chichi" he murmured against her skin.

Happy birthday, indeed, she thought.
