(In Antarctica)

Jack runs towards the peak of the icy cliff. He tries to throw the container of gold filled with his teeth into the cold ocean waters. He struggles making him unable to. He looks at the boys face on the front of the golden sphere. They have brown hair, brown eyes, and the same mischievous smirk that Jack and them both share. There appearance looks the same, but the color of the hair and eyes are different. Jack grunts from failing to get rid of the item that caused all his troubles. That pitch had given to him forcefully.

A low voice full of pity came from behind him. "I thought this might happen. They never really believed in you," the man paused. Jack immediately recognized the voice of Pitch Black. "I was just trying to show you that, but I understand." Jack's anger finally boiled over. He yelled while attacking Pitch with a charade of ice magic, "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!" Jack flew to the other side of Pitch. Sending another shot of magic his way. Pitch blocks and yells back, "NO, I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE CAST OUT!" He throws black sand at Jack Frost.

Jack launches himself in the air, and blasts a powerful ice attack from above while yelling a loud battle cry, but pitch blocks with a large amount of nightmare sand. Which creates a fog of magic. Jack lands and hears Pitch yell within the blanket of fog, "TO NOT Be Believed in." His voice becomes lower and more sympathetic, "Too long for, a family." The fog starts to clear and Pitch appears a bit behind Jack. Jack turns to him with his staff raised ready for anything up Pitch's sleeve.

When he re-says Pitches words in his head and sees his sad and sympathetic expression. He lowers his guard a bit with his mouth open slightly from shock to see Pitch's pain, as his own. "All those years in the shadows I thought, no one else knows what this feels like, but now I see I was wrong." Pitch says while pointing at Jack. Jack's guard lowers making him put his staff to his side.

Pitch speaks solemnly to Jack while walking closer, "We don't have to be alone Jack. I believe in you, and I know children will to." Jack responds hesitantly more as if it were a question, "In me?" Jack looks down at the ground. Pitch gently grabs onto Jacks shoulder. Turning Jack's direction to the icy statue that they can now see from the fog clearing.

Pitch points towards the cold and dark structure. "Look at what we can do." Pitch starts to speak more excitedly, "What goes better than cold and dark. We can make them believe." Pitch teleports through shadow making him appear on the other side. Pitch act starts to fail and he says, "We'll give the a world, where everything, everything is." Pitch is interrupted by Jack who completed his words. "Pitch Black," Jack says now starting to realize Pitch's intentions.

Pitch, realizing his mistake looks at him with a pause in his words. "And Jack Frost too," Pitch says trying to gain Jack's trust again. That he was barley able to get ahold of. "They'll believe in both of us," Pitch says reassuringly. Which causes Jack to finally catch on. "No, they'll fear both of us, and that's not what I want." Jack turns around shaking his head with Sandy's death appearing in his mind, and he starts to get agitated. "Now for the last time, leave me alone," he said annoyed. Jack starts to walk away from Pitch, but only gets a few steps from the bogeyman.

The atmosphere at the South Pole suddenly changes darker. Pitch's voice speaks lowly, but loud enough for Jack to hear, "Very well, you want to be left alone, done, but first." Jack hears a familiar squeak from a little tooth Fairy, and he turns around. What he faces wasn't something he wanted to see. He rushes forwards toward Pitch and Baby Tooth. "Baby Tooth," he says worried with a touch of fear. He stops in front of Pitch who is holding the little fairy in his palm tightly. She squeals pleadingly while shaking her head at the winter spirit.

Jack raises his staff wanting to help his friend he just met a day ago. Pitch yells at the top of his lungs, "THE STAFF JACK!" Pitches voice gets lower, "You have a bad habit of interfering. Now hand it over and I let her go." Pitch raises Baby tooth a bit higher and more in-front of him. Baby tooth squeaks shaking her head not to do it. Jack raises his staff, yet he struggles for the slight fear of hitting baby tooth if he fires magic at Pitch. As his anger grows frost becomes more and more dense on his staff. He lowers it still, even though he knows if he hands it over he will be powerless against him. Jack's action cause a small smirk on Pitch's expression, and a sad squeak from the fairy.

Jack twirls his staff around and hands it to Pitch. Once in the bogeyman's grip, the frost on the stick disappears causing the staff to go dark with the effect of Pitch's nightmare sand slowly and unknowingly to Jack, making its way up the handle. Slowly infusing the sand with the boys staff. Which Jack didn't notice because of the worry over his little fairy friend.

"Alright now let her go," Jack said putting his hand out. Pitch replies in response, cockily, "No." Making Jack shocked in result retrieving his hand, but his eyes furrow together right after. Pitch replies, "You said you wanted to be alone." His voice rises, "So be alone." Baby Tooth gets angry at this, not keeping his end of the truly unfair bargain. She squeaks angrily and drives her nose into Pitches hand causing pain and shock to Pitch. Not expecting such an action making him throw her against a frozen glacier out of anger. Causing her to squeak loudly for Jack.

Jack's attention goes back to Pitch. When he does Pitch puts Jack's staff high in the air and raises his knee. In one swift motion the staff is broken in two. Jack screams out in pain putting him to his knees and his arm to his abdomen hoping for the sudden pain to stop. Pitch walks to Jack with a evil grin still with the boys broken staff in hand. He kicks the boy many times in the ribs and stomach. Knocking out every ounce of air he had. Once Pitch was done Jack was laying on the cold ice gasping for any kind of oxygen.

Pitch rolled the bruised teen on his back. He knelt down to Jacks side and grabbed him by the chin. Putting his lips to Jacks ear. He says, "You are nothing." Pitch pauses, "You will always be nothing, but a useless unseen winter spirit, and don't go hoping that the guardians will look for you. Cause by the time they notice you aren't coming back, they will already be gone. But, it's not likely they even cared for you anyway. They were just using you to get rid of me, but with you so useless without this little stick." Pitch waves his colorless broken staff in his pained stained face still to weak to make an attempt to grab the lifeless conduit. Pitch continues, "They will have most definitely forgotten about the nuisance winter spirit that made messes where ever he went. That doesn't even know who he truly is and never will." Pitch says while pulling out Jack's golden tooth canister.

Jack says weakly nearly within a whisper, "no..." Which makes a smirk appear on the bogeyman's face. "Still got a little fight in you. Well I can easily fix that." Pitch puts the golden canister into his dark clothing. After he does so he conjures nightmare sand that is darker and has a red tint, and it seemed more menacing than the black nightmare sand. Pitch places his palm over Jacks battered form. When Pitch's hand tightens into a fist the sand seeps into Jack's skin suddenly. Jack scream echoes loudly into the air of Antarctica. Jack tears go down his face while he scream, "STOP, PLEASE STOP, IT HURTS, IT HURTS!" Pitch unclenches his fist making the pain lessen just below agonizing.

Jack can feel everything the sand is doing while it slows and intertwines within his bloodstream. His vision is blurry from tears, his voice is horse from the loud painful screams, and his body trembles from the constant pain. All he can see is a dark blurry figure standing above him. His ears are ringing loudly, so he doesn't hear what Pitch says.

"It may be a new thing I've been working on, but I didn't think it would be that affective, yet sadly it takes up to much of my energy to do it often. You should be honored to try it first. Not like it's gonna matter within a few day since the pain will surely take its toll. But there is a slim chance of you turning into a fearling and my nightmare prince." Dismissing his conversation for his magic to do it's thing. Pitch looks towards the direction he threw the fairy. Walking toward the area he sees a crevasse. He decides he might as well get rid of the pesky winter spirit. Pitch looks down to the bottom. He thinks, 'No one that can't fly can get out of that deep of a crevasse. Not even a human could get out of that hole without help.'

Pitch goes back to the boy who is gasping and scrunched up on himself. Pitch blasts a ball of night mare sand at him making him fly back into the wall knocking him unconscious. He tumbled down after hitting many edges in the ice causing bruising and cuts which bleed onto his pale white skin and blue sweat shirt. He doesn't even have enough strength to scream anymore from the nightmare sand that is still intruding his small form.

Pitch looks down at the boy at the bottom and chuckles for his wonderful work. He disappears who knows where, to Jack that didn't matter since he couldn't help the pain that was erupting in his body. With the pain it influenced a horrible nightmare in his unconscious state.

(Nightmare)

Everything was dark Jack couldn't see anything around him. He could feel a liquid on his feet that he didn't know exactly of what it was. When he moved he could hear it slosh around with each step he took. Even with the silence the sloshing felt worse than the eerie quiet. It felt better for him to actually be able to hear if something was approaching. He stopped moving and silently listened.

After a while of the dark silence Jack's nerves were on edge. When a small slosh in the water caused him to jump from the sudden disturbance in the quiet space. He looked around despite the fact it was still pitch black. Jack was scared of who was here, yet he still spoke, "Hello?"

A bright light appeared in the darkness. Jack blinked his eyes to get used to the luminous light. When he finally could see clearly he saw four figures within the the light. They felt strangely familiar even though there faces were blurred. But they had features he recognized. One was big and tall and had a beard and wore red and black, another was skinny but was covered head to toe with vibrant colors of feathers and had wings too, while another looked like a giant rabbit with something around his waist, and the last was very small and seemed to be the person causing the bright light. I also felt like I needed them, so I tried to run to them.

When I did and when I was getting closer the light seemed to dim and the figures started to become transparent. "No, no no no no no, please don't leave me hear." Jack panicked fear crawled through him making him run faster. Tears began to fall as the figures and light dimmed and vanished. He didn't want to be alone again he hated being left in the dark alone. When it once again was dark the liquid became sticky not like it was before. The liquid was like water, but now it felt the same as black tar. Jack tried to take a step, but he couldn't move and he was slowly starting to sink into the horrifying liquid.

When he was waist deep hands started to drag him down by the arms, shoulders, and hair. Jack wanted to scream, but when he tried a hand grabbed his mouth muffling every scream and shout he tried to yell. He struggled but to no avail it didn't help it made him sink faster. When he was completely under he couldn't breathe. It felt like he was drowning. Horrifying things with red eyes looked at him through the liquid. He struggled and when his lungs finally gave out from the pain in his chest he instantly inhaled the liquid making everything go black.

Jack woke up with a jolt. He was breathing heavily from the nightmare. His attention was quickly drawn to the still horrible pain he was in, and his friend that was at his side worried about his condition.

Jack was barely able to speak, "B.. baby T .. too th." Baby Tooth touched Jack's side to try and comfort him. Jack flinch back from the pain and groaned. The blood started to flow more visibly now into Jack's sweat shirt. Making the little fairy realize how injured Jack truly was causing a gasp to escape her mouth. Baby Tooth thought, 'The bleeding isn't going to stop anytime soon. I want to get help but...' her thoughts trailed off.

Baby Tooth looked at Jack's pained expression. Jack's put a hand to his stomach. Baby Tooth put her palm to his abdomen feeling a few bumps in Jack's chest indicating broken or near broken ribs. The little fairy's hands went to her mouth, her eyes went wide.

"B baby.. T oo th," Jack said earning a cough from his sore throat. His teeth gritted and he closed his eyes tightly. Catching the fairies attention. He cracked opened his other eye just barely and said, "I'll be o..key for now." Jack paused trying to gain more strength, "I don't th..ink I w..ill die on you that quick-ly... at least not yet." A tear goes down Baby Tooth's cheek.

Jack sighs and gives the fairly a weak smile, "Don't give... up... keep fight... ing for what... is right." Jack soon loses consciousness from the pain. 'Rest please you need your strength. I will try and get help, just don't die on me... please.' A tears follows down her cheek as for her concern for her new friend. Baby Tooth squeaks in her language to the sky, "Please, mother help us. Before it's to late."

(Guardians)

The sleigh keeps wobbling in the wind. North can barely stand and hold the reins of the his reindeer which are slowing in pace. Everyone is slowly losing strength from the decline in belief. It's nothing compared to Bunny, who is laying on the floor and slowly shrinking. He groans from the pain of the transformation. Tooth tries to comfort her friend, but it doesn't do much.

Bunnymund's transformation completes and he is now a small bunny with grey fur. His weapons are gone. "This is all Frosty's fault," Bunny says angrily. Everyone stays silent.

North pulls out a small globe from a compartment in the sleigh. One light shows on its surface in America. North speaks, "Let's make this light count before Pitch gets to him and wins once and for all." North whips the reins slightly with as much strength he can muster to go faster. He pulls out a snow globe from his coat pocket. He whispers the name of the town into the sphere and the town appears on the magic ball. North throws it in front of the reindeer and it opens a small portal that they will barely fit through.

Once on the other side the portal drains most of the sleigh's magic. Making the sleigh crash into the dark streets. They slowly but quickly get out of the broken sleigh. The reindeer run off after getting from their reins. Causing the weak fat man to curse in a Russian accent tiredly.

But that was forced into the back of North's mind after seeing the same boys house they had been seen in before Sandy died. They feel the light flicker and they hurry to the house. They went up to the boy's window and was stunned to be looking at Pitch Black and Jamie in the room.

Not noticing the guardians at the window, "Do you believe in the boogeyman." Pitch let out a chuckle as the kid shrank back shaking. The light only flickered, but didn't go out.

North immediately went into action right as Pitch Began to attack. He grabbed to boys arm from the window despite how weak his old age was dawning on him. Being pulled from his window shocked Jamie, but his light brightened after realizing he was in the arms of Santa Claus. He carried the kid in his arm out the window and into the street with the two other guardians following behind.

They run as far as they can until they get to town square. Only a few nightmare stallions appear in front of them which caused a bit of confusion since they all knew how many Pitch had made. They were quite surprised that there wasn't more but less. "Where are the rest? Weren't there more last time," Tooth asked confused. "Wait there were more?" Jamie asked shocked.

(Pitch) 'Stupid Frost, I forgot how much making that sand drains me, and it absorbed most of my nightmares. This will be troublesome.'

Pitches shadow surrounds the four confusing them on his location. The three guardians put the boy behind them. "We'll protect you mate." The man chuckled at the little rabbit. "Your so cute when your so weak," Pitch said while shadowing a hand in a scratching motion on a ground next to Bunny.

Bunny jumps to North fear clear on his fuzzy face. All that is left of Pitch's nightmares gather in a group making a giant cloud of nightmare sand behind there master. Pitch repeats his question, "Do you believe in the boogeyman?" The man appears on one of his stallion's in front of the cloud of nightmares.

"My boy, there just bad dreams." Pitch chuckles at North's attempt to ease Jamie's fear. Pitch repeats the same word he did with Jacks and Sandy, "Boo." The cloud of nightmares go for a full blown attack to the child. The boy raises his hand with North's word's echoing In his mind, 'There just bad dreams.'

The sand comes in contact with the black sand which to everyone's surprise it bursts into many directions returning to there golden hue. This brings hope into everyone. Tooth's wings start to flutter. She twirls around smiling while soon after North gets more strength. He pulls out his sabers and throws two snow gloves to the ground. Portals form and yeti's come out with a battle cry.

Bunny starts to hope his powers will come back but is chased, "Oh Crikey!" He runs under a car and his tail is bitten by one of the Nightmares. The nightmare pulls Bunnymund from the tail out from under the car. "G'day mate." The Nightmares are shocked to see a giant rabbit. Bunny rings his boomerangs destroying the nightmares.

Everyone is back to being believed in and fighting strong to Pitch's horror. Jamie continues to touch the sand having a idea to help the guardians.

Pitch is soon cornered in a alley way. North comments, "Give up Pitch, there is no where to hide." Smirking the boogeyman falls into a shadow chuckling as his other shadows circle the guardians. Trying to locate there enemy they look in every direction. Pitch rises up from the shadow he disappeared from behind the guardians backs. He raises a scythe at Bunnymund's back preparing to strike. His weapon comes down when North throws his sword yelling, "Bunny look out!"

Bunny is shocked and barely ducks just as Pitch's scythe missed his head. Preparing to strike again he raises his weapon, but is stoped when a golden whip latches around his wrist. With one yank he is pulled into the sky and lands in front of non other than the guardian he believed he killed, Sandy.

The guardians rush over to there friend. Sandy creates a top hat out of sand and tips it off to Jamie and his fellow guardians. Jamie and the guardians smile at the return of the sandman. With one swift motion Pitch is flung into the sky and when he is pulled back down by Sandy he is out cold having a dream of butterflies.

The guardians rejoice and Jamie starts a snowball fight which causes Sandy to wonder where Jack Frost is. After looking around his curiosity grows. Pitch's voice gets him out of his curiosity. The guardians turn to see Jamie going through Pitch, trying to chase one of the elves.

The boogeyman runs into the forest near a pond. Pitch runs blindly until he bumps into North making him crash onto the ice. Looking up at the giant man I front of him. "Leaving party do soon?"

"We didn't even have a chance to say goodbye." Tooth flips him a quarter into his palm making him question. "A quarter?" Pitch looks up at the Tooth Fairy as she punches him in the jaw nocking out a tooth. Earning a little yelp from him.

"You may think you've won, but I have a trick up my sleeve that will surely be your downfall." Pitch gave the guardians a smirk with a tooth missing from his mouth. Ignoring Pitch's statement, "Your time is up Pitch, you have no power. Fear is no more."

"Really are you sure about that? Cause what are they doing here." Pitch points to the forest behind them filled with a small number of nightmares. The guardians only give the nightmares a glance. "Well there not my nightmares. Im not afraid." This confused the boogeyman.

Bunny looked Pitch square in they eyes, "Looks like it's you fear they smell." This scares Pitch, he hurriedly gets up and runs tripping over his own feet. But the Nightmares gain until Pitch is consumed and disappears in a shadow.

The guardians head over to the shadow and find a old bed frame with a hole underneath. Everyone looks at each other. Jamie Bennett comes into view and the guardians get away from the hole to not let the child know it is there for a dark aura is coming from inside.

"Are you hurt at all sweet tooth?" Tooth rushed over to Jamie, her motherly instincts kicking in. Out of breath Jamie speaks, "Im okay just exhausted is all." Jamie put his hands to his knees panting. Lifting his head he asks, "What happened to Pitch is he gonna come back."

"Don't worry mate. He ain't coming back from that for a long time, and even if he tries touching you we'll be there." Bunny gives the kit a encouraging smile. "Now we need to get ya home mate or ya motha gonna be worryin where ya have gone." Bunny said kneeling down to the kit's level.

"Alright," Jamie sighs disappointed. Bunny looks to Sandy. Knowing what the look is for he forms a ball of dream sand. After barely touching the boy his eyes start to flutter shut. Jamie falls into Bunny's arms, "Im gonna get this little ankle bitter home. Wait for me here so we can investigate that hole in the earth. I've got a good feeling it's connected to Pitch, and we might even find where he's holding Tooth fairies and tooth boxes!" Bunny yells slightly so the others can hear him. Bunny runs a few meters away going into the direction of the town past the borderline of trees.
