Note; this story is something I came up with while listening to a song

Its called Light My love by Greta Van Fleet

This song is just so beautiful in many ways.

I cannot express how magical it is and how it makes me feel, every time I listen to it.

I get the butterflies for some reason. Its like a song that I wish to have at my wedding one day.

THE SUN AND THE MOON were bound by a cosmic decree, forever forbidden from truly uniting in love. Each knew their rightful place, taking turns to rule the sky, while stealing fleeting glances at one another. They had been told that only one could reign at a time, and so they sacrificed their own desires for the sake of balance and the greater good.

The Moon would weep, shedding tears of longing every once in a while, painting the sky with ethereal beauty. The elves reveled in these rare moments, cherishing the enchanting spectacle of the Blue Moon, unaware that it was a manifestation of the Moon's yearning for her forbidden love. They would celebrate its beauty not knowing they were celebrating her pain.

The Sun, on the other hand, kept his emotions in check, radiating warmth and light throughout the seasons. He had learned to suppress his passionate bursts, for he knew that the survival of Middle-earth depended on his steady presence. Yet, the burden of suppressing his true feelings made each day more agonizing for him. Giving those on Middle Earth heat waves on certain days.

To distract themselves from their unattainable love, they watched with curiosity the lives of the creatures in Middle-earth. They witnessed the complexities of love, the depths of hatred, and the sorrows that filled the hearts of beings during their respective reigns. Moon lamented that she often witnessed evil under the cover of darkness, convinced that the night was when wickedness thrived and tainted the world. Sun, amused by his lover's rants that resonated throughout the universe, chuckled silently, understanding her frustrations. As the day could be just as wicked as the night.

Finally, after an eternity of longing, the Valar granted them a rare opportunity to meet. A celestial eclipse was created, a magical convergence where the Sun and the Moon could briefly embrace. Overwhelmed by their reunion after countless ages apart, tears of joy flowed from their eyes. These tears merged, forming a radiant drop of combined energy. The Valar, witnessing this union, smiled and bestowed upon them an everlasting blessing.

In their infinite wisdom, the Valar split the drop into two, creating a pair of twins. Moon and Sun were grateful for this unexpected gift, though they remained unaware of the Valar's hidden plans. The twins, a handsome child of the Sun and a beautiful child of the Moon, brought profound joy to their celestial parents. Moon and Sun embraced their roles as loving parents, content to watch their children live lives they could never experience themselves. They cared not for the Valar's plans, finding solace in witnessing the pure embodiment of their poignant and forbidden love.

Little did they know, the Valar's intention went beyond mere blessings. Through their children, a new destiny would unfold, a destiny that would weave together the realms of the Sun and the Moon, forever altering the course of Middle-earth.
