Once Itachi, Lacus, Cagalli, and Stella were floating in front of the cannon they pushed away from each other and unsealed their Gundams. They got into them and targeted the cannon with all their weapons. They all opened fired on the cannon until small explosions went off along it and it started smoking.
Itachi stopped firing and the girls stopped firing as well. They got out of their Gundams and sealed them away. They then headed back to the access hatch and went through it. Once back inside, they unsealed their ANBU armor.
"That should be enough damage," said Phoenix.
"Let's head back" he said.
He changed into a phoenix, and they all grabbed onto him before flaming away. They appeared in the control room as he changed back.
"How goes the battle" asked Phoenix?
"Not good," said Griffin.
"They have even more of those things here" she said.
"How much money did they waste on those things," said Lion.
"ZAFT mobile suits are not strong and fast enough to exploit their weakness," said Eagle.
"Dove, see if you can access their self-destruct," said Phoenix.
Dove nodded her head and ran over to the main console.
"Why would they have that" asked Falcon?
"In case the pilots went out of control," said Dolphin.
"Yes" said Phoenix nodding his head.
"Found them" called out Dove.
"Activate them" ordered Phoenix.
On the screens they watched as all the Destroys blew up.
"Activate the cannon" ordered Phoenix.
Dove started the sequence to start up the cannon and a trigger popped out of the console.
"We are going to have to leave behind a Kage Bunshin to fire it," said Dove.
"Why is that" asked Phoenix?
He walked over to the console and saw the trigger.
"Really" said Phoenix.
"Yes" said Dove.
"That is how you fire it" she said.
Everyone else came over to the console and saw the trigger.
"That is a bit much," said Lion.
"Head back," said Phoenix.
Griffin, Hawk, Eagle, and Falcon disappeared in puffs of smoke.
Phoenix created a Kage Bunshin before changing into a phoenix. Lion, Dove, and Dolphin grabbed onto him, and they all disappeared in a burst of fire. The Kage Bunshin fired the cannon before dispelling. Requiem started charging before it blew up, taking out all the ZAFT forces in the area.
There was a burst of fire in Cagalli's living room as they all appeared. Itachi changed back as they all sealed away their armor.
"Now what" asked Stella?
"We head into space and what for the Chairman to make his move" said Cagalli.
"I will inform the Terminal to get ready" said Lacus.
Once everything was ready, they loaded their Gundams into the Archangel and launched into space. They decided to head to Copernicus City to wait.
Once they arrived, Cagalli said "Now we wait."
"Let's head into the city and see if we can lure out the imposter," said Itachi.
"Do you really think she is here" asked Stella?
"Yes" said Itachi nodding his head.
"When they see me, they will try to lure me out and we can flip it around on them" said Lacus.
"Correct" said Itachi nodding his head.
They all left the Archangel and went into an alleyway where Itachi summoned Ginny, Padma, Parvati, and Gabrielle. They appeared in puffs of smoke and sealed their armor away. They all then started walking down the street.
"What should we do" asked Cagalli?
"Let's go shopping" exclaimed Parvati.
"That's sounds like a good idea" said Lacus.
"Oh great" grumbled Ginny.
They went into a clothing store and Lacus and Parvati started trying on different clothing, pulling Stella and Gabrielle to join them.
"I never saw the point of this," said Ginny.
"The clothes I have are fine" she added.
"It's a complete waste of time" said Cagalli.
"It's fun to dress up sometimes," said Padma.
"Not for me" huffed Cagalli.
Sometime later they saw a red Haro roll up to them with a letter in its mouth.
"It's the imposter's Haro," said Itachi.
"Wow, it looks like the only thing they got right was my voice" said Lacus.
Itachi crouched down and created Kage Bunshin to read the note. He groaned as he got back up.
"What is it" asked Cagalli?
"It is so obvious they want to kill you, the only way to make even more so is to say 'come here so we can kill you'" said Itachi.
"We got her location then" asked Lacus?
"Yes" said Itachi nodding her head.
They all disappeared from the clothing store. They arrived outside of a ruined Colosseum.
"What is something like this doing on the moon" asked Ginny?
"Probably for aesthetics" said Cagalli shrugging her shoulders.
"This is the perfect place for it," said Stella.
"The imposter on one side and the bad guys on the other" she said.
"Once you step out, BAM, you're dead" said Cagalli.
"Let's go flip it on them" said Itachi unsealing his armor.
The others unsealed their armor and they all disappeared in a burst of speed.
Meer was sitting in the stands waiting for Lacus to show up. She was startled when she started hearing screaming. She got up to leave only for three girls wearing armor to land in front of her. They took off their masks revealing one of them was Lacus Clyne.
"You don't have to worry about them killing you" said Lacus.
"We have taken care of them" she said.
Meer took a few steps back only to hear people land behind her.
"Did you really think you could get away with ruining my songs, image, and reputation" asked Lacus?
"I am Lacus," shouted Meer.
"You are not me and you will never be me" said Lacus.
"All that you are is a failed imposter" she said.
Meer's hand shot to her bag only to fall back dead with a kunai in her throat. Her bag fell to the ground and a gun, disc, and a picture fell out of it. Gabrielle bent down and, after checking them, picked up the picture and looked at it. It was a picture of a black hair girl.
"Why would she have this" asked Gabrielle?
"What is it" asked Itachi?
Gabrielle turned the picture around showing it to everyone.
"Maybe that is what she looked like before," said Itachi.
"But that would be a complete makeover" said Cagalli.
"Why would she go through that" asked Lacus?
"Maybe the answers will be on the disc," said Stella.
"Let's head to the library and take a look at it" said Itachi picking it up.
He destroyed Meer's body with a Katon Jutsu before they left the Colosseum.
They went to the library and went to a computer in a study room. Lacus put the disk in the computer and looked at what was on it.
"It's a diary" said Lacus.
"That picture is what she looked like before" she explained.
"She was chosen because her voice sounded like mine" she added.
"Why go through all that" asked Cagalli?
"She always wanted to be a singer and saw this as her chance" explained Lacus.
"Sounds like she was a victim in this as well," said Stella.
"Now I feel a little bad at killing her" said Lacus.
"It was for the best," said Itachi.
"She was already lost in her delusions" he said.
"We couldn't have helped her either," said Ginny.
"Anything we could have done would have been broken when she looked in the mirror" she said.
Lacus nodded her head and popped the disk out of the computer. Itachi took it and destroyed it. They then headed back to the Archangel as Ginny, Padma, Parvati, and Gabrielle disappeared in puffs of smoke.
Sometime later, the Chairman began his speech. He explained his Destiny Plan as the last step to protect humanity.
"This won't fix anything," said Itachi.
"People have the right to choose what they want" said Lacus.
"Contact Terminal and tell them that it is time" she said.
The Archangel launched from Copernicus. That was when they detected a massive energy build-up near Arzachel. When the gathered Terminal fleet arrived at Arzachel, they saw a massive object floating above it. It was an asteroid fortress with rings around it.
"Is that his base" asked Cagalli?
"I think it is," said Itachi.
It started rotating to face the fleet revealing a dish in the bottom half of the fortress.
"GENESIS" growled Itachi.
"Inform everyone to get out of its line of fire" shouted Lacus.
The fleet moved out of the way just as GENESIS fired.
"Let's go end this," said Itachi.
Itachi, Lacus, Cagalli, and Stella headed to the hanger unsealing their pilot suits. They got into their Gundams and launched them.
As they fought through the mass of mobile suits, the fleet fired at the fortress only for a shield to appear to block the shots.
"A shield" growled Itachi.
"It must be coming from the rings" said Cagalli.
"I will take care of the rings" said Lacus.
"Launch the METEOR" she ordered.
The METEOR launched from the Eternal and attached to Strike Freedom.
"You had it rebuilt" asked Itachi?
"Yes" said Lacus.
The Strike Freedom took out all the mobile suits around them, clearing the way to the fortress.
"Cover me" said Lacus.
She activated the METEOR's beam swords and started attacking the rings destroying them. She then separated from the METEOR and sent it back to Eternal.
"Let's head inside and destroy everything Cagalli" said Lacus.
"Yes" said Cagalli.
"Me and Stella will look for the command center," said Itachi.
The Strike Freedom and Akatsuki flew into the hanger and unleashed their Dragoons destroying everything around them. The Destiny and Infinite Justice flew up the fortress looking for the command center until they found it at the top.
"Found it," said Itachi.
He aimed the Destiny's cannon at the command center's windows and fired it destroying it. Both Destiny and Infinite Justice flew away from the fortress while Strike Freedom and Akatsuki flew out and away from the hanger.
"You are cleared to fire" said Lacus.
The fleet fired at the fortress and destroyed it.
ZAFT launched signal flares to retreat while the four Gundams returned to the Archangel.
Sometime later, both Orb and ZAFT met and signed a treaty officially ending the war. ZAFT asked Lacus to return to become the next Supreme Chairman. But Lacus turned it down saying it would be better for her to be ZAFT's ambassador to Orb.
Once they were all back in Orb, Itachi held his head knowledge appeared in it.
"I remember how I got her again," said Itachi.
"Time to leave" asked Lacus?
"Yes" said Itachi nodding his head.
"Go get ready" he said.
While they were getting ready, Itachi took some Murasames just in case he needed them.
Once they were all back, Itachi asked "Are you ready to leave?"
"Yes" said all three of them.
Itachi activated his Mangekyo Sharingan and said "Kamui."
They all disappeared in a swirling vortex.
