Sixteen-year-old Bonnie Storms was driving in her silver Lexus SC 430. She was going to Evelyn's beauty salon for her second tanning session of the month. The voluptuous blond had desired a year-round tan. But of course, her parents and Evelyn both said they wouldn't risk anyone getting skin cancer. So, she had to abide by the salon's regulations when she could have a tanning session. Today, she'd gone with a more natural look by not curling her long golden locks. Instead, her silky blond hair was straight with a single side braid, with her favorite electric blue butterfly barrette keeping her hair from getting in her face as she drove.
Instead of her typical cheerleading outfit, she wore a pale pink crop top with a brilliant blue butterfly, and her denim capri pants helped show off her firm stomach. In any case, the teenager, like most her age, was more occupied talking on her phone then paying attention to the road. It's why she didn't notice she entered a spontaneous portal leading out of Peace Valley and into Amity Park. Looking up, she noticed she wasn't in a familiar place. Sighing, she muttered, "Mom, never going to let me live it down for getting lost. I must have taken a wrong turn and ended up in some crappy town."
Trying to get her bearings to return to her mission of getting her tanning session, she was surprised she passed by a high school called Casper High. Bonnie ignored the nearby signs that stated Amity Park. No, she focused on a Hispanic cheerleader from this unfamiliar school. "She's got the looks, that's for sure. However, without a doubt, she requires a few pointers to bring her squad up to snuff," Bonnie parked her car before heading towards the younger cheerleading squad. She calmly stood there for a few minutes till the gorgeous Hispanic teen noticed her.
"Excuse me, this is a private practice. So, whoever you are, you need to leave. Like now!" Paulina curtly ordered.
Bonnie played with her braid momentarily before speaking, "I'm a cheerleader too. Co-captain at my school. And I couldn't help but notice you could use a few pointers if you really want to bring it on."
Paulina's stunning features looked confused before she asked, "Are you serious? You're a cheerleader?" giving the older girl a once over.
Bonnie couldn't help but laugh and gesture at her body. "You don't think I look the part? Anyway, I'd still love to give you a few pointers. Trust me, if they helped my school win last year's cheer competition, they'll help you."
"Okay, if it means winning, I'll take your advice. My name's Paulina, what's yours?"
"Bonnie. Okay, let's start by fixing the pyramid. It's tipping because you've got a weight problem," was the first thing she pointed out. Once they fixed the pyramid, Paulina showed off their various routines. Bonnie continued to help improve the choreography. Plus, she taught them to do a triple flip. This was two teams of three cheerleaders flipping forward simultaneously. It took a few tries, but Paulina and her team mastered it.
After practice, the two captivating, mean girls went to the Nasty Burger to recharge and talk. All the while, neither was conscious that they were from different realities. Bonnie eventually dropped Paulina back at her house after Paulina informed her which road led out of town. Again, neither girl realized they were from two separate realities. Nor that both their cities were plagued with apparitions because they hadn't discussed that during their time at the Nasty Burger. They gossiped about typical teenage girl stuff.
As Bonnie left, she unknowingly drove through another spontaneous portal that took her back home. It was still early evening, and Bonnie knew her parents would have a cow if she didn't come home for dinner. So, regrettably, she missed her tanning appointment. However, she'd enjoyed her day nonetheless! It was nice to make a new friend, even if they likely never see each other again!
