A roaring wind blew across the broken landscape, tearing and pulling at everything it could. The skies above were black and tumultuous. The very earth shook and seized as Lightning and rain lashed out all across the planet.

For the first time since their release, the androids felt a pang of fear as a golden star was born amidst the ruins of Earth. High in the air above the shattered remains of a once thriving city Trunks was ready for revenge.

His golden aura burned with an intensity only matched by the fires of absolute hate in his deep blue eyes. Blue lightning flashed around his body and He raised his voice to a roar letting forth an earthshattering scream. It was one of hate, of rage, of pain, and lastly, one of power.

He was back from the past and going to make those monsters pay. They had killed his mother while he was in the past and left her broken body hanging from the roof in front of his home.

Long snaking branches of lightning danced through the darkness, and in one second like a flash Trunks was upon them.

The first to meet his rage was Android 18 with a haymaker to the face, shattering her skull and sending a soupy spray of brain matter and fluids across the sky with a sickening crunch.

That wasn't enough. Opening his hands towards the falling body, Trunks noticed Android 17 flying towards him, a rage burning in his eyes.

Too late for the Android.

With a bright burst of power from Trunks hands, Android 18's body burst like a grape, sending blood, gore and machinery high into the sky, and some splattered across Android 17.

"Your move monster" Trunks spoke, glaring at the approaching Android.

In just that moment Android 17 realized he was outmatched, and he did what any reasonable enemy would do.

He fled. Fast.

Shooting as fast as he could across the sky, Android 17 fled for his life.

"So you're running? Alright, I'm game" Trunks growled, and with a thunderous Crack of speed, he vanished from sight.

Halfway across the planet in far less than a second, Trunks appeared before Android 17 and grabbed him by the neck mid flight, diving down to the ground and slamming the Android face first into the concrete of a highway which shattered beneath him.

Not even stopping to hear the Android scream in pain, Trunks dragged Android 17 face first throught the concrete, tearing his face open and leaving a long trail of blood and metal.

Trunks went faster and faster, long after Android 17 could no longer scream Trunks continued as the world blurred around him. Rising up from the trench he had made with the defeated bloody Android, Trunks turned him to face him, and what greeted him was a bloody exposed cracked skull with the flesh torn off. Yet this was not enough, not by a long shot. His hate was only growing, and a new feeling was born.

Disgust. He was Disgusted that these weaklings had given him so much fear, how they had taken everything from him.

Trunks crushed the skull with a splattering crunch, and as the brain matter dripped through his hand, he grinned. He relished the feeling of overwhelming power that came with this new transformation.

So this was how Gohan felt?

It was amazing, like a thousand sun's inside his broken heart. All burning and feeding his rage, his power. He felt invincible.

Tossing the broken corpse of Android 17 to the sky, Trunks raised his hand, then a second later closed his fist.

With a boom like the hammer of a God striking the body of Android 17, the Android burst into atoms with a blinding flash of light that could even be seen outside of the galaxy.

One left.

Cell.

Trunks flew faster than he ever had before and scoured every inch of the planet, and finally found Cell.

That bastard had tried to steal the time machine when Trunks was fighting the Androids.

Finding the Android climbing into the machine when he arrived, Trunks roared with fury.

"I WON'T LET YOU DO THAT!" He screamed, tearing Cell from the machine, However, Cell was smart, and he used his last moments to spite the half Saiyan.

Sending an energy blast towards the time machine as Trunks grabbed him, the two were enveloped in an explosion.

Trunks felt a pulling and dright flashes of light. He felt spinning, stretching, expanding, and then blackness.

Trunks awoke with a scream of rage, finding himself laying next to the mangled remains of what was once of Cell who was too far damaged to regenerate. All that was left of Cell were some meaty chunks of green flesh in a stinking pool of green ooze.

He had done it. Revenge was his.

However, the price he payed was far beyond one a man should ever have to pay.

Then he looked around him and saw something that frightened him.

This was not the Earth he knew.
