final chapter enjoy
The fairy tail guild started settling down after being frozen in time for the past seven years.
Then, the front door of the guild hall opens up, revealing a blinding light.
When their eyes finally adjusted, they saw a woman and a few men by her side; they all wore armor, signifying they were the royal guard.
"Elizabeth, it hasn't been two weeks yet," Natsu said from his seat.
"Sorry, Natsu-"Before she could continue, a green blur went past her. Only for the cause of the trip, landing face-first on the floor.
Everyone noticed the person who fell forward was a girl, a small child nonetheless.
She lifted herself off the ground with tears in her eyes. "DADDY!"
In a second, Natsu was by her side, holding his daughter in his arms.
"Harumi, my little flame, it's alright. Daddy here now," he cooed to his daughter, who wiped away the last of her tears before sporting an all too familiar grin.
"Daddy?" Was the collective response from the lost members?
"Oh right, you guys wouldn't know. This is my daughter Harumi hono Dragneel!" Harumi's grin grew, hearing her dad repeat her name.
If it weren't for the matching grin, none of them would believe Natsu fathered a child while they were away.
Natsu looks to Elizabeth and the others. "It's a long way back to the capitol. Feel free to stay in town for the night!" He's backed up by all the members who have lived through the seven years with him.
The royal guards left to find accommodations for the night.
Natsu found his spot at a nearby table with his daughter on his lap and Happy on hers.
The more astute members of lost members quickly notice who Harumi gets most of her looks from. That does not include the ring on Natsu's finger.
"It seems you and the princess were busy while we were gone," Mira teases, causing Natsu to look away with a blush.
Harumi is utterly oblivious to what Mira is implying.
"That reminds me, honey, why come to Magnolia? I planned on returning to Crocus in three days?"
Harumi's expression quickly morphed into annoyance. Natsu could only sweat drops. There are only a handful of reasons his daughter would act this way.
"That old fart needs to learn not to drag Mom into pointless meetings!"
"Is it with other countries?"
"No,"
"I know you don't like it, but that's the life of being part of the royal family."
"I know, Daddy. Oh, Mom said she will come here once she is done."
"That's a surprise. I always return to cocus, weird, she's coming to Magnolia."
"Mom says she needs a break from being a princess, so she wants to come here."
"Well, we better go clean my house. I'd love to stay longer, but Hisui must hide if my home gets dirty again." This gets chuckles from everyone before waving him off.
Natsu put his daughter on his shoulder with Happy still in her arms as they left the guild.
The lost members look to the other, hoping they can fill in the gaps.
Macao steps forward with a grin on his face. I'll start from the beginning. He told them why Natsi missed the S-class trials—many chuckles after learning what Natsu did about the negative article on his marriage to Hisui. Macao continued to Harumi's birth when they knew Natsu did a rotation, spending two weeks with Hisui and their daughter and his life as a guild wizard.
"That's the jist of it. I'm sure you'll learn the rest in time." With those words, he called it a night, heading home with Romeo.
After an hour, Natsu finished cleaning his home and preparing dinner for him and Harumi.
It's mostly meat with some greens and tea. Once dinner was done, it was time for bed.
The best part about staying in Magnolia with Harumi was when Natsu protected her while they slept.
The following morning, when Happy woke up, he looked down from his hammock to see Harumi sleeping on Natsu's chest as he held her protectively.
Natsu flutters open. He notices a weight on his chest. He sees it is his daughter. He lightly kisses her head before catching a few more Z's.
After another hour, the father and daughter woke up before getting some breakfast.
Natsu lifted his daughter so she was sitting on his shoulders. Happy sat on her shoulder as they headed towards the guildhall.
Once they entered the door, Natsu brought her down, and Harumi ran off to meet with Asuka.
Natsu found his spot not too far away with the Connells beside him, keeping an eye on their daughter.
Natsu didn't have to look to know his team had been eyeing him since they returned.
He deduced his team is still processing being frozen in time for seven years on top of the changes the guild went through, including him being a father.
Nothing major happened for the rest of the day and the two days after.
Natsu was sitting in the guild relaxing away as his daughter was playing games with her best friend, Asuka.
Then the door opens, revealing Arcadios, and by his side is Princess Hisui.
She looks around for her daughter, Only to see Natsu. He's watching their daughter like a hawk as she plays with Asuka.
"Mommy!" Harumi shouts, running up to her mother.
Hisui picks up her daughter, getting a quick hug before kissing her on the cheek.
She finds her place by her husband's side with their daughter in her arms.
Natsu gives her a quick kiss as she lets Harumi continue to play with Asuka.
Before they knew it, the day had ended, and the family of three plus Happy headed home.
Wife and daughter didn't hesitate to cuddle up to Natsu being a walking fireplace.
As morning sunlight shines through a window, waking up a blue-haired exceed. Happy waited a few moments for his eyes to adjust.
He looks down from his hammock to the adorable sight Of Natsu and his family.
On his right side is Hisui sleeping peacefully, using his right pectoral as a pillow as his arm wrapped firmly around her waist.
On his left side is his five-year-old daughter Harumi, using his left pectoral as a pillow as he holds her protectively.
The three slowly woke up before walking to the guild for breakfast.
The two parents sit in a secluded booth to themselves at the guild while their daughter plays with Asuka.
After a while, Harumi walks up to her parents, who have changed her clothes from her green dress.
She now wears jeans, regular shoes, and a green short-sleeved shirt.
The parents notice this only to separate from each other, freeing Natsu.
"Time for training!" He said, picking up his daughter as he took her out the door.
When the lost members heard this, they followed him, wanting to see his daughter's magic.
Hisui decided to join them, knowing they would want answers.
Natsu stands at the center of the training field with his daughter standing across from her.
He closes his eyes, takes a deep inhale, then exhales.
"Take over: god soul!" A magic circle forms over him before his body is engulfed in black flames.
When the flames die down, Natsu is replaced by a humanoid entity made of pure fire.
"Ready for training, Harumi?"
"Yes, Uriel sensei!"
Harumi got into a stance before shouting, "Fire god bellows!" A torrent of black flames shoots out of her mouth towards Uriel before bathing him in the black flames
When the flames died, Uriel was unfazed, "getting better," he snapped his finger, and Harumi was engulfed in flames before they were all sucked up by the minor child.
While Uriel and Harumi continued their training, the lost members looked to Hisui for answers.
"Harumi wanted to learn fire magic like Natsu. Unfortunately, that would require a dragon lacrima, and neither wanted to implant one in her. Then she mentions she wants to learn fire magic stronger than Natsu," they all remember Zancrow from tenrou throwing around god slayer flames.
They urged her to continue wanting to know more."Being part of the royal family gave Natsu unrestricted access to our information network. I remember the spell he used like it was yesterday."
Flashback start
Deep within the castle of the royal family, Natsu is getting everything ready to make contact with the fire god.
"I hope this doesn't backfire on us." He said from the edge of a magic circle made in the ground.
"Well, you want Harumi to learn fire god slayer magic, Natsu!" She said from the sideline, holding a sleeping Harumi in her arms.
"Fingers crossed!" He kneels down, putting his hands on the circle, saying the chant that sounds like gibberish to modern-day man.
The circle glows red before turning black. A large flame erupts from the circle's center before forming a humanoid entity. Natsu looks him in the eyes.
The only identifiable feature he can make out are eyes made of white fire.
"Are you the fire god?" He asks, and the entity nods yes.
"Um, my daughter wants to learn fire god slayer magic. Would you be ok with teaching her?" He said nervously.
The entity looks to the minor child before going back to Natsu. He can only assume that god is sending him a neutral expression.
Just as he's about to withdraw his request, he hears a small chuckle from the god.
"Been too long since a mortal has summoned a god to this realm!" Natsu and Hisui's eyes went wide when they heard the god speak.
"I'd be happy to teach a mortal my magic, especially after Zancrow ruined my good name with that piece of crap magic he calls divine flames!"
Natsu vaguely remembers hearing that one of the members of Grimoire Heart is a god slayer.
"Ok, how would that go about? My daughter is not going with you!"
"There is always a lacrima implant, but I know that out of the question, there is god soul magic."
"God's soul?" The two parents say in unison.
"It takes over magic, but with it, you can take over gods and use their power." He sees the reluctant look in Natsu's eyes.
He's debating if he should go through with it. The god-aware Natsu likes to earn his strength, and taking over goes against it to some degree.
"It isn't a permanent deal like lesser takeover magic!" Natsu snapped at him with wide eyes.
"It's simple. When your daughter wants to learn, hand the controls to me for a training session. When her training under me is done, you must use the counter spell to free me."
"There has to be more to this on your end."
"I want to correct the mistake Hades made with my magic, teaching it to Zancrow!"
"Guess I don't have a choice if Harumi wants to learn god-slayer magic," He said with a sigh.
"Good, and the name Uriel!" With the snap of the god finger, the circle used to summon him was changed entirely to that of take over.
"Step in the circle, Natsu." He complies, and as soon as Natsu steps into the circle, his entire body is engulfed in black fire.
When the flames finally died down, he collapsed to the ground. Finding the will to stand back up with a dazed look in his eyes.
"Well, did Natsu work?"
I'm unsure how active the spell is.
"Just say god soul while using your magic energy!" Uriel said in the dragon slayer's mind.
"God, soul!" Natsu's body is engulfed in black flames. He looks around him, seeing his entire body is made of fire.
"Woah, this is going to take some getting used to. How do I hand you control, Uriel?" Just as he said that, his eyes felt heavy before closing.
"Like that, Natsu, now wake up!" He said aloud.
"Ok, now this is weird. It's like I'm awake and asleep at the same time."
"Precisely, I believe it is time to teach Harumi my magic."
Flashback end
"Since then, he has done two-hour long lessons every two weeks. Natsu spent two weeks at the capital with me and Harumi, then two weeks with the guild or doing job rinse and repeat." Hisui's story gets a nod from her audience.
Just then, they notice Harumi spinning in the air, only for Uriel to block each strike with his hand like it's nothing.
They watch closely as Harumi practices spell after spell and sparring for who knows how long.
Harumi collapsed to his ground, sitting on her but breathing heavily.
"That's enough for today, Harumi."
"Yes, Uriel sensei." Natsu undid the takeover before picking up his daughter.
"Nice job, honey. Let's get some ice cream for working so hard!"
"Yes, ice cream!" She shouted with the same grin as her father.
Hisui left with them. It was then to the lost member, the Natsu they knew was long gone.
After some ice cream as a reward for a long day, the family of three lay down in Natsu's bed with hisui on one side and Harumi in a deep sleep on the other.
"So when do you want to tell everyone? '' he whispers to his wife.
"Tomorrow sounds good, Natsu,"
"Sweet, I hope it's a boy!"
"Me too!" She said before going to sleep.
The following day, the two decided to break the news to the guild.
Natsu and Hisui sat in a corner, wanting to enjoy this time. Hisui decided to use this chance to see if the fairy tail guild could detect subtly. Natsu placed his hand around her lower belly with hers on top of them.
The first to notice this is Erza if her widening eyes are proof. Hisui put her finger to her mouth to stay silent before looking at the eldest Strauss sibling.
In record time, Mira caught onto what they were implying before letting out a squeal of happiness.
"How far along are you!"Mira said, getting in the married couple's face.
"Eight weeks," Hisui informed with a smile mirrored by Natsu.
Not Long after, news of Hisui's second pregnancy spread far and wide across Fiore.
Later that year, in November, Hisui gave birth to the second child, turning their family of three into a family of four.
Hisui lays down in bed, recovering after giving birth. The nurse just handed her their newborn son.
Natsu sits beside her with their daughter on their lap. Gazing down on their son, her striking resemblance of Natsu with his mother's jade green hair.
"Welcome to the world, Lucas Atlas Dragneel!" Natsu said, getting a smile from their sun.
Bonus section
A couple of years later, Toma stepped down as king, and Hisui took the title of queen after her husband respectfully declined to be king. He is not fit for the life of royalty, let alone being king.
As years go by raising two kids, it's clear to the husband and wife that they're the oldest. Harumi is too much like her father to be the future ruler of Fiore. Her brother, on the other hand, slowly showed signs of leadership.
