Today was a very special day, as it was Junior's birthday. Lola, who is Junior's friend was in his room, and somehow is the only one who actually remembers his birthday.
"I can't wait for my birthday party!", Junior said with excitement. "I know, Junior!", Lola said, as she was playing with Junior.
Suddenly, Junior's dad, Bowser, came up to his son's bedroom, and noticed him and Lola playing games. "Hey you two.", he said, "Whatcha doing?". "We're just playing some games.", Junior said, "And guess what? Today's my birthday!".
"No it's not.", Bowser said, to which Lola might know he's joking by saying, "Uh, Mr Bowser? It IS his birthday. You know: Today.". "Uh?", Bowser soon said, before realizing that it IS Junior's birthday. "Lola, can I have you for a moment?", he asked.
"Okay?", Lola said, to which Junior was playing games by himself. When Lola asked Bowser what's wrong, she soon got shocked. "You forgot his birthday!", she said, to which Bowser soon said, "Well, I was busy and I forgot!".
"So,", Bowser said, "I need you, the rest of your siblings, and the Koopalings, to decorate the basement for the party, while I go get a cake.". "Okay,", Lola said, "We will get this party perfect for Junior.".
Meanwhile, Lisa and Ludwig were just busy doing scientific experiments on Goombas, with includes fusing two Goombas together, and making a tall Goomba. "Wow, we have a lot of Goombas fused together.", Ludwig said.
"Ludwig! Lisa!", Bowser said, as he ran into the room where Lisa and Ludwig are doing their experiments. "Stop what you're doing right now!", Bowser said, to which Ludwig said, "What's going on?". "Is this castle of yours going to erupt!", Lisa guessed.
"No!", Bowser said, "It's even worse!". Soon, Bowser, Lisa, and Ludwig are in the Koopa Clown Car. "How could you forget your biological son's birthday!?", Lisa said. "I don't know, it's just that I was busy making the castle more suitable for you guys, and then his birthday came up and...", Bowser said, before saying, "I'm so sorry!".
"Don't apologize to us!", Ludwig said, "You didn't forget my birthday, you forgot Junior's!". "Look, he doesn't know that I forgot!", Bowser interrupted, "So, we have to go to town, and get a cake. It's simple, the Koopalings and the rest of the Loud Siblings are decorating the basement, while we get the cake!".
"Well, if we have time we can redeem it.", Lisa said, but Bowser is trying to start the Koopa Clown Car, before Lisa said that he has the start the engine first.
Eventually, the trio have made to the Mushroom Kingdom, and stopped at the local Toad-Mart. "Okay, Mr Bowser calm down! We're by the Toad-Mart! We're here, we're going to pick a cake, and we'll get back to the Dark Lands!", Lisa said.
"OKAY!", Bowser said, struggling to find a place to park. "Okay Mr Bowser, just calm down and we'll...", Lisa tried to say, but was interrupted by Bowser who was running to the store, saying that he's a terrible father.
"Oh, brother.", Ludwig said, with Lisa saying, "Oh brother indeed, Ludwig. Oh brother indeed.". After Bowser bought the cake, he hurrries to get back to the Dark Lands, just in time for the party.
Meanwhile, at the castle, Lola was planning the entire party, with the rest of her siblings and the Koopalings doing the decorations. "Okay, I got the balloons up.", Lemmy said, while Roy and Lynn Jr said that they put up the sign.
Iggy and Luan were busy blowing balloons, and Lori and Morton were arguing about the height of one of the birthday signs. "Okay, everyone!", Lola said, "I want to make this party very special for Junior, and we got everything: The balloons, the streamers, the present and the pizza!".
"PIZZA!", Luan cheered, and Morton said, "Aren't we supposed to have a cake too?". "Oh, no!", Lola said, "We forgot a cake!". "Don't worry about it, we got the cake!", Ludwig said, to which Lola caught her breath. "Yeah!", Iggy said, in his usual hyperactive way, "The cake's here!". "Okay, don't touch the cake until Junior gets here.", Lola said, to which Iggy tapped the container. "IGGY!", Bowser said.
"Okay, Lisa, you go tell Junior to...", Lola tried to say, before noticing that Lisa has turned into a Goomba. "A mishap with a Wonder Flower.", Lisa said, as she told Lola about her experimenting on it, before being interrupted.
"Just tell Junior to come down.", Lola said, to which Lisa was having a bit of trouble up the stairs.
Eventually, Lisa went into Junior's room, and said, "Hey, Bowser Jr! You're needed in the basement.". Junior at first looked around before noticing the glasses on the Goomba, realizing that the Goomba is Lisa.
"Lisa, what happened to you!", Junior said, and Lisa said, "Long story. But you better come downstairs, for something important!". "Okay,", Junior said, as he follows the little Goomba.
When Junior came downstairs, everyone said, "Happy Birthday!", and then Junior got so surprised, that he almost stepped on Lisa, but a Super Mushroom landed on her, causing her to go back to her normal self.
"A surprise party?!", Junior said, "for me?!". Lola then said, "That's right.", before being interrupted by Roy and Lynn Jr, who both worked together to give Junior some birthday punches. "You got to be kidding me!", Junior said.
"Happy Birthday!", Lana said out of nowhere, and almost punching Junior. "Is everyone going to punch me in this room now?!", Junior screamed to which Lana said, "No, I was just being...". "Don't touch him, sis!", Lola said, escorting Junior away from Lana.
"Okay, let's just eat the pizza, and forget about this.", Lana said, with Larry agreeing. "Let's eat the pizza!", Morton said, but when he opened the box, the pizza is gone. "WHO ATE THE PIZZA!", Morton and Leni screamed. "I didn't eat the pizza.", Lincoln said, to which Lucy said she doesn't normally eat pizza.
"Guys,", Luan said, "Me and Iggy have a confession to make.". "And what's that.", Lori said. "We we're the one who ate the pizza!", Iggy shouted, "We're sorry!". "Why did you have to eat the whole pizza!", Lisa asked, to which Luan said, "It's just looks so good, that we want to take a nibble!".
"It's more like a chomp, dude!", Luna said, to which Luan said, "Well, sorry.". "Okay, I'm not hungry anyways.", Junior said, "How about we play a birthday game.". Soon, Bowser has a good idea for a game, but unfortunately it was called: Pin the Thumbtack on Mario. "Bowser.", Lincoln asked, "Out of all the names you can come up for that game, why would you name it that?".
"Look, it's made before the peace treaty, okay?", Bowser said, as he explained that he has a little Mario doll, and when the Koopalings were all young, he covered their eyes, and they pinned Mario's butt with the thumbtack.
"Well, I guess we can give it a try.", Lola said, "It's like Pin the Tail on the Donkey, right?". "Or we can punch a Junior out.", Lynn Jr suggested. "Why is that fun?!", Junior criticized, "Why is that even funny, is that supposed to be funny?!", he said, mock laughing.
Soon, Roy punched Junior in the face, before Lola told him to stop. "You wanna fight, cause me and Lynn here are really strong!", Roy asked, to which a sheepish Lola said, "No thank you.". "Yeah,", Lynn Jr said, with Roy adding in, "Just like we thought.
"C'mon guys.", Bowser said, "I'll wrap a bandana around your head, and you get to pin the thumbtack on Mario's butt...". "Junior, you should go first!", Bowser then said with excitement, "You're the birthday boy!".
"Why do you sound like an over exaggerated person?", Bowser Jr asked, and Lori interrupted, "He's being a good parent! Do you want him to yell at you and ground you?". "No.", Junior said, and he reluctantly agreed to put the bandana on.
Soon, Bowser Jr's eyes are covered with the bandana, and he struggled, before just giving up. "Dad, that lasted five seconds.", Junior criticized, to which he soon asked who can go next. When Junior chose Leni, Lori told the little Koopa, that it was the biggest mistake he made in his entire life.
"Okay, can you see Leni?", Bowser asked. "Nope!", Leni innocently said, to which Bowser soon spins her around and she tries to find the Mario doll. "Okay, where's the Mario?", Leni said, before popping a balloon with the thumbtack.
Now she ends up popping balloons, and every time she pops one, her siblings end up reminding her about what she was popping. "That's a balloon, Leni!", Lisa said, "How can you tell it's not a balloon?!". "Oh yeah, it was a balloon.", Leni said, "It made a popping noise, right?".
"Okay, good job.", Bowser said with boredom, "You popped all the balloons, but you didn't get the...". However, Leni DID eventually pin the thumbtack on the doll's butt. "Did I get it!", Leni screamed.
"Yeah.", Bowser said, to which Leni cheered and asked for a prize. "You can get the first slice of the cake.", Bowser said. "Wait,", Bowser Jr interrupted, "I'm the birthday boy, don't I get the first slice?". "Listen, your birthday isn't even over yet. And besides,", Lola said, "How much more worse would it get?".
Soon, Bowser Jr said that he needed to take a bathroom break, and while he did, his dad was getting a knife to cut the cake with. When Bowser Jr got out from the bathroom and back downstairs, he said, "Are you kidding me?".
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS ON JUNIOR'S BIRTHDAY!", Lola said with frustration, with Lana adding in, "This guy's a beast!". Too make matters worse, Bowser came downstairs and noticed what was happening.
Morton was eating the cake, and he it was so good that he can't help himself. "Such a shame to do it on Junior's birthday, Morton!", Lincoln said, with Lucy adding in, "Shame on you.". "I don't care about it, anymore.", Bowser Jr said.
"Wait, you don't care?", Leni asked. "Well,", Lola said, "the cake is ruined, so obviously he would...". Soon, Leni ate some of the cake too. "What're you doing!?", Lola said, as Leni and Morton were digging into the cake, their cheeks covered in frosting.
"Can we have some too?", Luan said, as she and Iggy appeared. "Well, you two ate the pizza!", Morton said, "There's no way you're going to get some!". "You know what?", Iggy said, "Take this!". He threw a glob of cake at Morton, causing the two of them to fight.
"That cake was so good.", Leni said, and Luan just innocently sang, "Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Junior, Happy birthday to you!". Lori, Lola, and Junior just stared at the fight, as Luna and Lisa tried to break it up.
"LOOK AT THE MESS YOU KIDS MADE!", Bowser screamed, "IF THAT DOESN'T COME OUT OF THE CARPET, FORGET CELEBRATING BIRTHDAYS EVER AGAIN! THE ONLY BIRTHDAYS WE'RE CELEBRATING ARE MINE AND ANY OF THE LOUD SIBLINGS, BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT ANYTHING MOST OF THE TIME! WHY, WHY, WHY DO I HAVE STUPID KIDS!".
"You do have a good point, Mr Bowser.", Lori said, as she and Wendy texted on their phones about it as reminders. "Oh, there's still some cake left.", Leni said, as her teeth are now covered in frosting. "You want some?", she asked.
"No thanks.", Lola said, as she and Junior said that they were disgusted by the cake. "Why would you guys do that on Junior's birthday?", Lisa asked, before saying that she was sorry, and that the present would cheer him up.
"Yeah,", Junior said, "Even though I won't have a cake or a birthday wish, this present might make it up.". Junior was hoping for the newest Super Mario game, but at first didn't think it was the right size for said game.
"Maybe it is.", Junior said, noticing a small package. Leni soon went up to Junior and said, "Can I help open your present?". Junior soon said, "Suck the fun out of that too!", as Leni opened up the present.
But the present wasn't a game, it was nothing but... "A bag of potato chips!", Junior said, "Are you serious? For my birthday, I got a bag of potato chips?!". "I guess you did?", Leni said, before being slapped by Junior to which she said, "Well, that was rude.".
"This is the worst birthday ever!", Junior screamed, as he walked back upstairs. "Why'd you guys have to mess up on Junior's birthday!", Lola said.
"Well, you know what's stupid?", Leni said, "I was supposed to have the next slice after him, but Morton took the first bite!". "Well, you were chowing down on the cake too,", Morton said, "Plus, I'm ashamed of myself!".
"Don't worry.", Leni said, "You meant to do that.". "No, it's just I was so hungry!", Morton confessed. "Maybe I should see if Morton is alright.", Lola said, "I'll be back in a few minutes.".
Junior was in his room, playing on the Switch alone. "Junior. Are you okay?", Lola said, to which Junior said, "Are you going to do something to ruin the party too?".
"No.", Lola said, "I came, because, I haven't given you MY gift.". "And what's that?", Junior said. "Here you go.", Lola said, giving Junior the gift. It was none other than the new Super Mario game.
"You got this for me?!", Junior said, "How'd you know?". "Well, I've been saving my money to get the game, ever since it came out, and I bought it, and I didn't want to give it to you right away, because it was a surprise.", Lola explained.
"You're really a true friend.", Junior said, kissing Lola on the cheek. "Now, let's have some fun playing this game with everyone downstairs.", Junior said, with Lola agreeing.
