This is a fun story idea, and One I am proud of...

Prologue

Titan's head ached as he waited by the UA faux city gates, eager to showcase what he could do. He had been too overwhelmed by the collective essences of the crowd to read Present Mic's mind. He had no heads up on the competition here, but he was sure he would excel. He had to, he needed to get a grip on his ever growing, agonizing power. The pain was getting bad, the constant migraines...

"START!" Shattering him from his thoughts, he rode the wave of idiots into the city. Only to drift by Cement Toss, and see in the man's mind memories of not people to fight... but Robots...

'Robots, my power is... mental, I am functionally a psychic...' Turning his full attention to the man, he pushed in, drawing on his anger to pierce the man's mind. What he saw did give him hope. 'There are safety switches, off switches... that helps. And something called Hero Points, that is good... I can work with that.' Rushing into the distance, he slid under the first Robot he saw, popping up and smashed it's off switch. "One point down..."

He would end up knocking down twenty bots, and by that time he felt a rush of panic. Not his own, but another's... turning, he saw a boy trying to lift a robot off of himself. Feeling his genuine, real agony and terror, Titan rushed to the boy and lifted it off. "Hurry." Another person, this time a girl, held her head in a daze. He knew she had a concussion, and he prodded her mentally.

When the giant robot came, even though the raw panic surging through nearly killed him, he focused all of his mind and heart. "CALM!" He called out, blasting with so much focus that everyone that bolting turned. "Focus... and be swift." They obeyed and even as he started to feel faint, the strain on his mind vast from that exhalation, he made his way out, hopeful that everything worked out... even as his head screamed in agony once again.
