For years, the so-called insecure losers Linus and Charlie Brown have been tormented by arrogant, self proclaimed winners. The arrival of a powerful club, with an ambitious leader, now challenges the status quo. Linus, desiring to help a despondent Charlie Brown, becomes the key player in this mission. But is it a truly noble one?. Is it worth Linus giving up what he values most?

SOJAS members Edward "Kingmaker" Black, Maddison Freeman, Niel Olson, Henrietta Cordon and Samantha Lesley move into Birchwood, and quickly become dissatisfied with the status quo there.

Linus Van Pelt, in an attempt to stop him from believing he's a worthless failure, suggests to Charlie Brown to sign up for the upcoming football game against Rochester Elementary. Unfortunately, his sister Lucy overheard this and makes plans alongside her clique to sabotage him. Maddison overhears their plotting and reports it to Edward.

Violet approaches Edward, and asks if he's interested in their plot, which he affirms. Later, he learns from Magna Sincerus(The Great Pumpkin), a mythical spirit that has inhabited his body, that the plot could be disastrous if left unchecked.

Edward meets with Lucy and learns the full extent of her plot. He decides to pretend to join them, in an attempt to ruin both the plot and those responsible from the inside. He soon realises Linus overheard the conversation, and will probably warn everyone.

The SOJAS members find local kids to invite to a meeting that night, ultimately finding three, and a beagle. After Edward helps him and Sally out with a bully, Linus chooses to confront Edward about the plot that night.

The meeting takes place and Linus is soon discovered by Maddison. Linus challenges Edward not to join Lucy, to which Edward, impressed, reassures him he isn't. He reveals he knows of him and Charlie Brown due to being Janice's cousin.

After hearing of Lucy and her cliques long list of cruelty, Edward pledges to foil their plot, destroy their clique and enact revenge on them all. His plan is accepted to his relief. Edward then offers to take Linus on as his apprentice, as a means to help him aid Charlie Brown and stop Lucy. However, Edward privately holds the former's failures against him, and believes him hazardous and untrustworthy.

Lucy angrily confronts Linus about going to Edward, after Rerun betrays him. Linus lies his way out of it. He unfortunately has to delay hanging out with Charlie Brown and instead travels to Edward to begin preparing himself.
