AU. A snow storm, an accident and Emma Swan meets lonely Regina. Where Regina sees a desperate teenager in need of help, Emma sees an easy mark, a free ride and a place to hide from what's chasing her.

While the Charmings&Co are battling it out in Neverland, Storybrooke has it's own villains to conquer. One wants to control it, one wants to destroy it, and one wants the souls of everyone in it. It's going to take old and new allies alike to band together and save Storybrooke, and perhaps help bring Henry and the others home.

Friday night is always movie night with a meal for Emma and Regina and this time, Emma gets to choose the film. Surprising Regina, Emma wants to watch the Notebook together. This is the first piece of Swan Queen fanfiction I've done and it's also the first one shot that I've done, so just go with it!

Based off of a line said by August when they were in the forest together and he tried to show her his leg so that she would believe - "I was supposed to be there for you...and I wasn't." Emma is the first point of view, and August is the second.
