This is my first attempt ever at publishing a story and have just started figuring out how to work this website. Please be as ruthless as possible when criticizing this work, I believe it may help me get into the flow of things a bit better. I hope that by using this website I will understand my own writing style better and figure out what does and doesn't work in story telling. If at any point in this story something does not make sense or I explain to much please do let me know. If at any point in this story you dislike my work for any reason you do not have to continue reading this story, It won't hurt my feelings at all. There is a difference between criticism and persecution, I will take criticism.

This is a story that is very different from the original, though I will try my best to make it follow a similar narrative. Deku and Bakugou are friends and IzuOcha is a thing in this story. I am open to suggestions but cannot promise anything as I am unsure of the final outcome.

Verdant wasn't happy. Tonight was supposed to be her night off and yet here she was in Hosu, in the middle of the night, pushing off the ground tens of feet into the air searching for the villains that decided tonight was the night to rob a bank. After pushing her energy around for a few seconds she finally felt a disturbance to her left. She saw as the last man ran into the alleyway. Quickly pushing off the building behind her she rocketed past the entrance and towards the exit of the alley. Just before hitting the ground she sent a small push underneath her to quiet her landing. Verdant sent her energy into the alley to gauge how much time she had before the thugs got to her, she estimated five seconds.

"Plenty of time," she thought.

As the thugs neared the exit they slowed and the first thug, the leader of the pack, poked his head out to see if anyone was around. He found no one. Turning to give the all clear, dread filled him as he saw his two lackeys unconscious on the ground. Seeing no other option and fearing what lurked in the dark of the alley, he ran with all his might. Or he wanted to, when he turned he found Verdant standing just a few feet away with an eerie green glow in her eyes. The man let out a scream as he was pulled to Verdant but quickly stopped as his consciousness was forced out of him.

"Finally. These fools were actually cleaver enough to give me the slip a few times, I respect that. Doesn't matter, they're still criminals."

Verdant cuffed the three unconscious together and pulled out her phone for a call.

"Detective Tsukauchi? I've apprehended the suspects. Yes, I'm sending my location now."

"I hope I didn't hit them too hard, those lawyers are so stinking pesky," she thought to herself.

"I think I'll call it a night after this-" The sounds of explosions bombarded her and left her ears ringing.

"Crap! I guess I'm not getting any sleep after all..." she let loose an extended push to launch her high enough to see what was happening, it was frightful. Holding her push, she then pulled out her phone and opened the Hero network.

"This is Verdant. I am requesting any available Hero's to dispatch to downtown Hosu, there has been an explosion in a residential area, the cause is unknown, be prepared for anything."

Knowing the villains she just caught could be forgotten in light of the new situation, she grabbed hold of them with her quirk and launched herself towards the action.

Three days later in Musutafu hospital...

"Uggghhh, my head is killing me..." Opening her eyes Inko was surprised to see a hospital room. "What happened?! How did I get here?" A wave of panic washed over her as she realized. "I can't remember."

Just then a nurse walked in and gasped as he noticed his patient was up. Clearing his throat he asked, "Would you like some water? I imagine your throat is pretty dry?"

She nodded in confirmation as she held her pained throat.

"Very well," he quickly retrieved a bottle and handed it to her and she downed the bottle in less than two seconds.

"Thank you," she sighed out. "But I have to know, why am I here?"

"I understand you have questions but unfortunately, they'll have to wait. Right now we have to do our standard check up procedures. Once that is done, and you have calmed down, we'll discuss the reason for your stay.

"But-"

"I will answer all your questions in due time but right now the answers will only hinder your healing process, so please, be patient."
