Hi Readers: I hope you guys liked the new first chapter that I just wrote for you. Now, I was going to do something different this time around for the second chapter; maybe add in some more stuff. But, I've changed my mind on that and I'm going to stick with the original. Hope you guys like it and enjoy this new version of the story I'm writing for you guys. Now, let's get on with the story.
Chapter Two
October 6, 2018 – Casey Home, Chicago
It was their last time waking up together in their Chicago bed for a couple months, the bed where they made sweet love to each other last night, which explained why the two of them were currently naked as they held each other close in bed. Well, as Matt held Gabby close to him; after all, she wasn't awake yet. Gabby was still fast asleep, as she laid down close to Matt and just cuddled up to him in the comfort of their bed. And Matt had to say, this was perfect. It was everything she wanted simply due to the fact that she was being held close to the man she loves as they just enjoyed a bit of quality time with each other in their bed, not that they aren't going to be able to do that on the road. But, for now, they're just holding each other as they take it easy with each other ahead of their long trip with each other. Hell, they already set out (some) of the schedule. Today, they have plans to go from Chicago and start making their way west. The reason they want to go west first? Well, they want to be in California by Christmas. They want to be in the warm areas.
And while, yes, they could go to Florida; they instead wanted to go to California and celebrate there, leaving the option for them to go to Hawaii open. After all, they have no idea just where this journey is going to lead them. They just want to have fun and enjoy this time with each other, time they have thanks to Matt getting some time off with her; all thanks to Boden working things out for them. Even better, they didn't have to worry about rushing home, which meant that they can just concentrate on each other for a while, which is everything they want to do right now. They just want to take it easy as they concentrate on each other and how much they love each other. And just like he did the night before, Matt was in the midst of showing his beautiful wife some love; love that he may not be able to give to her in the RV they rented for their trip. Then again, he wasn't putting it past them finding a way to show each other that they love each other. But for now, that's not what they're going to concentrate on. Right now, it's each other.
After all, he was currently getting a nice kiss from his wife, as they woke up naked in each other's arms for the last time in a while. Well, at least in this bed; after all, he was certain that they would be getting each other in bed in the RV they have. "Promise me that I don't have to go without sex on the entire trip?" Gabby laughed as Matt asked her that question, before placing her hand on his face and smiling as she leaned in and kissed him softly. "Do you really think I want that? That I want to go without sex either? Baby, I love you and want to have you just as much as you want me. I love you Matt." Matt agreed with his wife as she told him that, smiling due to the fact that he knew that was the truth. Meanwhile, Gabby got close to the man of her dreams as she placed her hand on his neck; prior to moving her lips to his neck and sucking on it, as she wanted to please him a bit. And let's just say that's exactly what Gabby just did. She pleased him and gave him exactly what he wanted to get from the woman of his dreams. A bunch of attention.
And he had to say, it was great; she was great. And it was only going to get better when they're away from the city they love, as they want to get time away from their friends and family, which is something that they need so that they can concentrate on fixing their marriage. After all, that's the entire reason they're going on this trip; it's so that they can work on their marriage, rather than just see the country with each other. Though, they are going to do that as well since they have the time to do so; while also making sure that their marriage goes the distance, unlike those of their siblings or parents. They want to be the ones that make it, which is something that Matt and Gabby feel pressured to do. However, Matt doesn't like that; so, he decided to turn his head and stare down into his wife's eyes to remind her of something. "Gabby, can you promise me something?" Gabby agreed with Matt. "Of course, baby. What is it?" Gabby smiled. "Promise me we do this for us, and not just because we want to prove that marriages can work in our families?"
Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, as that's precisely what she wants to do. "I promise baby, I want to fix us, before there's nothing left to fix." Matt shook his head, as that was the last thing he wanted to hear. "Baby, there's always going to be something to fix; I love you and I want to be with you for that reason. I don't want you to ever think that I feel like I need to be with you. I want to be with you because I love you more than anything in the entire world. That's the truth and I want you to remember that." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling as she cuddled up to him some more; prior to leaning in and just taking things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. The man who she's going to be celebrating two years of marriage with in exactly two months somewhere warm, hopefully; that's something Matt promised his wife…they're going to try and be somewhere warm when they celebrate their anniversary. "We stopping at the firehouse on our way out of town to say goodbye?" Gabby shrugged. "Not sure yet."
Matt agreed with his wife. "By the way, I was thinking. You know how we said we were going to bring the car?" Gabby laughed. "Change your mind?" Matt nodded. "Let's just drive the RV around. That way, we can just take it easy and relax using it. We can figure it out. And if we need to walk, it'll be good exercise." Gabby agreed with her husband, as that sounded good; just like them actually getting out of here sounded even better. "Speaking of the RV…what do you say we go do something we might not be able to do in there?" Matt smirked. "Let me guess, you want to get out of here?" Gabby smiled as Matt asked her that question. "Yeah, I want to get going and just get on the road." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, smiling due to the fact that he likes that idea; almost as much as he loved the way they enjoyed each other last night. "By the way, I loved last night." Gabby smirked. "Don't worry, we're going to have a bunch of time with each other in the RV like this." Matt smirked. "Oh, you thought that you get away with that?"
Gabby smiled. "You really thought that you could get away with not giving me sex during our entire trip?" Placing her hands on Matt's face, Gabby smiled. "Oh, no baby. I am going to be taking you in my arms as much as we can. Last time I checked that mattress is pretty comfortable and I want to make love to you in each state we visit." Gabby smirked, as she loved the sound of that; so, she got close to her husband and just smiled as she leaned in and kissed the man of her dreams softly. Meanwhile, he wrapped his arm around her back and took things slow with her. "Maybe, at some point…we can even take one of those blankets we put in the RV, and we can put it on the ground outside. I can make love to you under the stars." Placing her hand on Matt's face, Gabby smirked as she loved the sound of that. "Oh, I really like the sound of that. Maybe we can conceive our child like that." Matt agreed with his wife, smiling at her, while Gabby took a breath. "I'm sorry Matt, I know we still need to talk about that." Matt nodded, as they did need to talk about it.
They need to talk about how they're going to expand their family, which is something they're going to talk about at some point on the trip. "Hey, and we will. Gabby, I promise that we're going to talk about that and figure it out. I want to have a family just as much as you do, remember? And we need to figure out how we can do that, in a way which we both feel comfortable doing." Gabby agreed with her loving husband as he said that, glad that they're already on the same page. "I love how we're already on the same page." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, as he feels the same way. "I feel the same way." Bending down, Matt smiled as he proceeded to take things nice and slow with her while they held each other close here in the comfort of their bed. After which, he ran his hand up and down her back and just smirked as he thought about what Gabby might want from him. "Do you want to go for another quick round before we take a shower?" Gabby smirked, as she loves that idea. The idea of them going for a quick round. "Yes, please."
Rolling over on top of his beautiful wife, Matt smirked as he placed his hand on her neck and bent down so that he could kiss her softly; only to pull away and move his lips to her neck. Meanwhile, Gabby wrapped her arms around his back and smiled as they both held each other close and took things nice and slow with each other. And when Gabby says that they took things nice and slow with each other, she truly means that due to the fact that this is the most fun she's had with him in a long time. "Oh, baby." Smirking, Matt just knew that Gabby was enjoying this. "You like that baby?" Gabby agreed with her husband, as she most certainly does love the way he's making love to her. "Don't you know it." Smirking, Matt agreed with Gabby as they both had a bit of fun with each other this morning, ahead of them leaving on their trip this morning. A trip they truly hope will do them (and their marriage) some good. But first, they need to finish up with this and go take a shower with each other. And let's just say, it'll be just as hot as this.
She ended up running away from him, which meant that she was able to get into the washroom (and the shower first); which didn't make Matt a very happy man due to the fact that he was hoping to be the first one in the shower. Though, he could forgive her due to the fact that he had a chance to see this now that she was in the shower first: his gorgeous wife's silhouette as she stood in the shower naked. And damn, it was such a turn on. She was such a turn on, and she knew it; she just had to. I mean, how does she not know that this turns him on? Well, if she doesn't know it; then she's going to learn when he gets in the shower with her, because that's what he's about to tell her now that he was ready to get in the shower. But first, he wanted to tease his wife, which involved him opening the door to the shower and staring at his (naked) wife, while he still wore a towel around his waist. And let's just say that he was really turned on. "Damn." Turning around when she heard Matt say that, Gabby smirked. After all, she knew he liked what he saw.
He always likes the sight of her naked, whether it be here in their shower, or in bed. Well, he probably likes her to be naked in bed more than in the shower, as that means that they get to make sweet love to each other, which is precisely what they just did both last night and this morning. But now, she wants him to join her and just run his hands all over her body. "No sex. I just want to have you hold me in your arms here." Matt pouted as he heard Gabby say that. "What? Shower sex is the second-best type of sex, which we may not be able to have in the RV since the shower is small." Gabby smiled, well aware that was the case. "Fine, you can have a little bit. Just, not too much as I don't want to be sore." Matt laughed as he heard Gabby say that, before taking off his towel and hanging it up next to hers; after which, he stepped into the shower and got close to the woman he loves. "We both know that's a lie." Placing his hands on Gabby's hips, Matt stepped close to her; while she wrapped her arms around him and just took things slow with him.
And let's just say that Matt really liked this feeling he was getting with his wife, as it's very sexy; but not as sexy as when she pushes him back against the wall of the shower, which is precisely what she just did with the hopes of taking full advantage of their shower here at home. The shower that they can push themselves against much easier, due to the fact that this shower is much larger than the one they're going to have in the RV. Compared to this one, the RV shower is going to be little a toilet stall. But, she's okay with that as it just means that she's going to be so much closer to her husband in the shower. "God, I love this." Moving his hands to her hips, Matt tugged her body against his some more and smiled as he bent down and kissed her; prior to bending down and moving his lips to her neck. After which, he sucked on it and just smirked due to the fact that he knew that Gabby was loving this. "Oh, baby. Don't stop." Matt agreed. "Oh, I don't plan on it due to the fact that I love the feeling of your naked body against mine."
Gabby laughed and just smiled as she turned her head, prior to leaning in and kissing her husband. "I promise, we're going to have that in the RV. Matt, I want to still keep trying for a baby. I know it's risky but…" Placing his hands on Gabby's hips, Matt got her to calm down as he bent down and moved his lips to her neck, which led to Gabby placing her hand on his toned chest and moaning as he sucked on it as a way to get her to shut up. And that's precisely what she did, she shut up so that he could speak to her. "Gabby let's just see what happens. I don't want to fight with you right now. We can talk about it in the RV, but not here. Right now, I want to just take a shower; then, we can get on the road where we can talk about it. Please baby." Turning her head, Gabby agreed with Matt as she ran her fingers through his hair and kissed him softly. "I love you Matt." Matt agreed with his wife as he loves her too. "I love you too." Leaning in once more, Matt kissed Gabby and smiled as he took things nice and slow with his gorgeous wife.
She looked absolutely stunning as she stood at the end of their bed in her lingerie, the lingerie she plans on wearing under her clothes today, which most certainly was turning her husband on as he made his way out of the washroom in nothing but his tight boxers (which she might not see for a while). "Damn, now if this isn't a nice sight." Turning around to look at Matt as he walked over to their bed (and his bags) to set his washroom kit down in his bag, Gabby blushed. "Oh, stop." Matt smirked. "Oh, I'm never going to stop when you look very sexy in that." Gabby agreed with her husband as she said that, while watching as he set his washroom kit down in his bag, prior to him walking over to her and wrapping his arms around her; bringing her body against his chest in the process before kissing her. Meanwhile, she placed her hands on his toned chest and smiled as she took things nice and slow with her husband. "God, I love you." Matt agreed with his wife, as he loves her too. "I love you too, and I'm really excited for this journey."
Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, smiling as that's precisely what she felt. She felt excited for this trip they're going on, as she feels like it's going to do them a lot of good; especially considering their anniversary isn't that far away. "Promise me we try and get to 2 years Matt. I know things haven't been easy on us, but I at least want to…" Shaking his head, Matt sighed as he sat down on the end of their bed. "Hey, come here. Come sit with me." Gabby agreed with Matt as she moved to sit in his lap, while also placing her hands on his chest as she stared down into his eyes. Meanwhile, Matt placed his hands on her back as he looked up into her eyes; smiling at his girl, he leaned up and kissed the woman of his dreams softly. "Listen, I know that you're worried; hell, I'm worried." Gabby agreed with Matt as she rubbed his chest. "But, I want us to think positively. We're going to make it to 2 years, because we love each other. Remember what I told you when we lost the baby three years ago?" Gabby agreed with Matt, as she did.
In the process, she leaned in and kisses him. "I told you we got back together because we love each other, and that's the same thing we did now. Gabby, I took you back no questions asked due to the fact that I'm your husband and I love you more than anything. I want to be yours forever. I want to have kids with you. I want to live a long life with you, which is why we need this baby. We need time away with each other so that we can have fun and just take it easy with each other." Gabby agreed with her husband as she wrapped her arms around his neck and held him close. "Quick question, I meant to ask it in the shower but…" Matt smiled. "What is it?" Gabby smiled. "Say I get a notice that there's a charity fundraiser nearby? Can we go to them, and I can help?" Matt bit his lip. "Can I think about it?" Gabby looked at Matt, before getting up and just walking away. "Didn't know that was such a hard question to answer." Making her way over to her dresser, Gabby went to get the clothes she wants to wear on their trip.
However, not before Matt got up and made his way over to her. "Hey, if we're going to fix us then you need to let me talk and explain." Walking up behind Gabby at her dresser, Matt wrapped his arms around her and brought her back against his chest; after which, he bent down and kissed her neck softly. "Baby, I can't give you a blank yes because I don't know where we'll be those days. And what if we're in a fight on those nights? Do you really think I'm going to want to go to a charity event when we're supposed to prioritize our marriage?" Turning around to look at her husband, Gabby looked down; while Matt placed his hands on her hips as he stepped close to her, prior to moving one of his hands to her neck and pushing her head up. And as he stared into her eyes, he bent down and kissed his gorgeous wife softly. "Gabby, that's all I want to say. If we're in a fight, then I'd rather not go to an event." Gabby agreed with Matt, as that made sense. "Yeah, that makes sense." Matt smiled as he agreed with the woman of his dreams.
After which, he wrapped his arms around her and just held her close; while Gabby wrapped her arms around his back as they held each other close. "Happy 22 months babe." Looking up at Matt, Gabby smirked. "Right, it's the sixth today." Bending down, Matt smiled as he kissed his gorgeous wife softly. "Stay in this lingerie for me today? Maybe just wear a robe on top of it." Gabby laughed, as that wasn't happening. "Nice try." Snapping his fingers, Matt just smirked as he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves again. "I love you." Gabby agreed with her husband as he told her that he loves her. "I love you too. Now, go get dressed and then make breakfast." Matt agreed with his wife, more than ready to do just that. "Isn't your mom coming over for breakfast?" Gabby was about to say something, when the doorbell rang. "Can you get dressed and go get the door? Maybe make her some coffee? I need a minute to do my hair and make up." Matt agreed with his wife as he proceeded to get dressed, ahead of going to welcome Camila into their home.
Walking up to the front door of his and Gabby's home shortly after getting dressed, he smiled as he went ahead and set some of their bags down at the front door so that he can take them to the car when they leave; only to open the door when he stood up. "Camila, how are you?" Camila smiled as Matt asked her that. "Good, glad that you invited me over this morning. God, I just finished last night." Confused, Matt looked at her. "What are you talking about?" Camila smiled. "I brought you some of my meals for you to have on the road. I assume that machine out there has a fridge and an oven." Matt agreed, as it most certainly does. "Thank you Camila, we really appreciate this. Uhm, Gabby's in our room if you want to go say hi. I'm just going to make us some breakfast." Camila shook her head. "Non sense. You concentrate on getting ready to go on your trip, I came here to make you one last breakfast and to spend a bit of time with you before you go." Matt smiled and agreed, as he appreciated that. "As did I." Seeing Antonio, Matt smiled at him.
After which, he walked around Camila and smiled as he went to shake his hand. "Voight okay with this?" Antonio laughed. "Saturday brother. You guys need some help to pack that beast over there?" Coming out of their room, Gabby smiled as she looked at her brother as he said that. "I think that Matt would really appreciate that. Maybe you can help him set it up like you always did when we went camping as a family?" Turning around, Matt looked at his wife. "You went camping as a kid?" Gabby smiled. "Why do you think I recommended an RV? They're comfortable and I like them." Matt agreed with his wife, loving the sound of that. "Well, then that means I love them. I'll be right back. Your mom said she'd make breakfast." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "Then go start packing the RV so we can eat when it's ready." Matt agreed, while Antonio walked into the house. "I promise, we'll get you packed sis." Gabby smiled as she looked at her brother, before walking over to him and going to hug her brother. "Thanks for coming to help."
Antonio agreed with his sister as he hugged her, smiling as he was more than ready to help out his sister. "Of course, Gabby. I love you and want to help you in whatever way I can." Gabby agreed with her brother as he said that, well aware that he had other intentions as well. "Antonio, I already made him suffer all summer. Don't say anything, we're going to talk things through." Antonio agreed with his sister as she told him that, before looking around. "Those some of your bags?" He said, pointing to bags that were by the door. "Yes, could you please bring them out to Matt?" Antonio agreed as he proceeded to do just that for his sister, while Gabby turned to look at her mom. "Mom, I'm going to finish getting ready, that okay?" Camila agreed with her daughter. "That's why I came Mija, I wanted to make sure you had time to get ready to go and have fun with Matt." Gabby agreed with her mom. "I just hope that this works out like we want it too." Seeing her daughter was nervous about that, Camila opened her arms. "Come here Mija."
Gabby agreed with her mom as she said that, before making her way over to her and hugging her; while Camila kissed the top of her head and smiled at her. "Gabby, your husband loves you more than anything and is completely devoted to you. We both already know that. He's going to want to be there for you for the rest of your lives. He loves you and wants to be with you more than anything." Gabby sighed as she heard her mother say that. "Are you sure of that mom? What if we can't get over our problems?" Hearing Gabby say that from just outside the front door, Matt looked at his wife. "Gabby, I promise we're going to work it out. That's not something you need to worry about." Looking at Matt as he said that, Gabby agreed with him as she just knew that what he said was true. She had no need to worry about it, not when she has the best husband in the entire world who wants to work things out with her just as much as she does. So, she just walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him; while Matt placed his hand on the back of her head.
In the process, he bent down and kissed the top of her head. "I love you Gabby, and you already know that I want to be with you and only you. That's something you need not worry about, I promise." Gabby agreed with Matt, well aware that was the case as she looked up at her loving husband and proceeded to kiss him softly. "I love you." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, well aware that she loves him. "I love you too Gabby, forever." Gabby smiled as she agreed with Matt, prior to turning around and walking away so that she can finish getting ready. Meanwhile, Camila looked at her son-in-law. "You guys are going to make it, I already know that Matt." Matt agreed with his mother-in-law as she said that, smiling as he walked over to her and went to hug her again. "Thanks for coming to help." Camila agreed as she hugged Matt. "It was my pleasure, as I wanted to see Gabby one last time. Now, grab some bags and go pack the RV." Matt agreed with his mother-in-law, before going to grab some of his and Gabby's bags so that he can pack the RV.
