As Superman pushed Doomsday back, Brainiseid had been watching.
"How is he doing this, Doomsday was made to be the ultimate weapon and where did that portal come from?!" asked a furious Brainiseid while going to the security footage around the planet.
"So that's what happened," he said as he noticed Nightwing and Flamebird messing with the computer. Back on Earth, Doomsday was just feet away from the portal and battered to heck and back.
"We only have a few more seconds," said Batman. Suddenly, Doomsday shifted into a snake again, trying to get away from Superman.
"No you don't!" said Supergirl as she flew in at top speed.
"Kara!" said Superman as she fell into the portal with Doomsday, both of them heading for the blazing sun on the other side.
"It's too late," said Batman as the portal closed, leaving everyone standing around out of shock. Back on Apokolips, Nightwing and Flamebird were heading for a portal.
"Where do you think you're going?" asked Brainiseid as he stood between them and the portal.
"You had better get out of our way," said Nightwing.
"I know my planet is about to die because of the virus you used, but before it does I'll end the two of you," said Brainiseid as he held up a blaster. Fire from a nearby pit then shot into the sky.
"Did you really think we didn't have an escape plan?" asked Flamebird as she made the fire wrap around him, pulling his arms down to his side.
"What is this?!" asked Brainiseid.
"Pyrokinesis, it lets me control fire," said Flamebird as she clenched her fist.
"This isn't logical, I should not have lost to inferior creatures like you," said Brainiseid.
"Living beings aren't logical ones," said Nightwing as he grabbed Flamebird and flew into the portal.
"No!" said Brainiseid before the planet exploded.
