Outside of the Shie Hassakai base
Midoriya's pov
I exit the car I was in, and I join with the other heroes. Today is the day. The day we save Eri, stop the Shie Hassakai, and finally beat Garou. "Alright, let's begin. As you know, Nighteye was able to use his quirk on a Hassakai member. Through it, he saw underground facilities and we believe them to be Yakuza's main headquarters." The police commissioner explains to his men. "We were also able to confirm that the girl we're trying to rescue is currently being held in one of the rooms there. Although we were unable to map out the entire layout of the facility, we believe the man Sir Nighteye saw used the shortest route to our target. This is the best intel we have on the Hassakai stronghold. Stay strong and be prepared for what will come." The commissioner warns his men.
"We're passing around a list of current Hassakai members and quirks. Our aim is to apprehend all of the members, while securing our target." The commissioner finishes. "Things are moving fast now, huh?" Kirishima asks me. "Can you blame them? By the way, have you seen Gran Torino?" I ask Kirishima. "He and another group of heroes are on standby when it is time to capture Garou and his group." Nighteye suddenly answers. "I see." I say.
"Hopefully we can bring down both the Hassakai and Garou at the same time." Kirishima says. "Same, but let's worry about the Hassakai first." I say. "It's time. Let's bring down the Hassakai. Heroes, move out!" Nighteye yells, beginning the operation. Let's do this!
A few minutes later in the facility
Eri's pov
As I lay on my bed, I start to hear loud noises. Who is causing these noises? Is Miss. Toga coming to finally save me? I hope so. I just….I just hope the Birdman won't hurt her. Suddenly my door opens and at first I think it's Miss. Toga, but instead it's him. "Eri, let's go." The Birdman says. I want to say no, but I know I don't have a choice. I get up and walk towards him. Where is Miss. Toga? She said she would save me.
The man with a white cloak picks me and we begin to walk away. "So much noise. Those fools had better be doing their jobs." The Birdman says. "I hate to say it, but I think this is the end for the Hassakai." The cloak man says. "As long as the boss and I live, the Hassakai will always live. Most of the men are loyal to him, but don't understand my way of thinking. Even though I respect the boss more than any of them." The Birdman says.
"As long as we have the finished product and the serum, I can bring us back from the brink of extinction. This little incident will make a good story for potential investors. We've developed a drug that heroes are afraid of. Exactly what they'll be looking for." The Birdman says. "On that note, it's time to pull your weight, temps." The Birdman says. I am confused, until we walk past a man dressed in black and white and Miss. Toga. There she is! She looks at me and smiles. "Actually, I have a different idea." Miss. Toga says as the Birdman stops. "What are—" the Birdman is cut off as Miss. Toga and the black and white man attacks the Birdman.
The Birdman blocks the attack from the black and white man by touching a wall and making a barrier. However, Miss. Toga knees the cloak man holding me and grabs me. She starts to run as the black and white man follows. "Don't let her escape!" The Birdman yells. "I told you we would save you." Miss. Toga says. I simply hold on to her. "Thank you. Thank you so much." I thank her while in tears "She's even cuter than I thought." The black and white man says. "Who are you?" I ask. "That's Twice. A friend of mine. He'll help you just like I will." Miss. Toga explains. I simply hold on to her tightly. Finally, freedom.
Toga's pov
I simply smile as Eri holds on to me. "So, what now?" Twice asks. "We need to leave this place before the heroes, or Overhaul, catch us." I say. However, as we are about to run around a corner, that hero from before, Lemillion, appears out of the floor. "Eri!" Lemillion yells as Eri gets scared. "You actually did save her. Thank you." Lemillion thanks me. "I don't need your thanks. All that matters now is getting Eri out of here." I shrug him off. "I'm sorry, but who is this guy and how do you know each other?" Twice asks. "He's the hero I told you about. Remember?" I say.
"Oh right. My bad." Twice apologizes. "Now, let's…" I stop myself as I feel like I'm getting dizzy. "What the? What's going on?" I ask. "I don't know, but it feels like I'm drunk." Twice says as I look at Lemillion and see him wobbling around. "You feeling sloshed?" A voice asks us. We look up to see a guy wearing a Hassakai mask and drinking a bottle of vodka, while hanging on the ceiling. "Your legs look shaky and you're swaying. I feel the same. That's why I'm walkin' up 'ere." The drunk says. It must be his quirk. We just got to pass him and—
Suddenly, someone starts shooting at us. I manage to jump out of the way while holding onto Eri as she shrieks because of the gun shots. "What is your quirk?" The guy with the gun asks. That voice, it's that guy from before! "Twice, cover Lemillion's mouth!" I yell as Twice covers Lemillion' mouth before he could speak. "Ah. Seems like you two remember me." The man says as the drunk guy crawls to him. "You missed him?! Stupid! What are you drunk?!" The drunk guy asks. "That would be you." The other guy says as the drunk guy shuts up. "I suggest you stay quiet and support your superior teammate." The guy says.
"I know you. You're Nemoto. Quirk: Confession. And you are Sakaki. Quirk: Sloshed." Lemillion says. So, that's their names. "Thank you for stopping me from giving away my quirk. But, why would Chisaki put someone like you on the front lines, Nemoto?" Lemillion asks. "Simple. I am of an upper class in our ranks compared to the pawns in this organization. And I am the only one who understands the boss's ambition" Nemoto says, shooting at us as we dodge.
"He's torturing his own daughter, and you call that ambition!" Twice yells. "You dare lecture me? When you and Toga have done many unspeakable crimes." Nemoto yells. "We're not saying we're good people, but we have morals. And one of those morals is that we never hurt kids." I retort. "Then die you nuisance!" Nemoto yells as he shoots at us and Sakaki throws knives at us. However, Lemillion permeates through the bullets and knives and attacks the duo, knocking them off balance. Thinking quickly, I hand Eri to Twice and pull out my knives. I rush towards them and jump on Sakaki.
"You and your organization are going to pay!" I yell, about to stab him when Lemillion grabs my arm. "Stop! You don't need to kill him!" Lemillion begs me. "This monster deserves it! For what he did to Eri!" I yell. "I know, but not in front of her." Lemillion points towards Eri and I stop to look at her. I look into her eyes and see that she's scared. He's right. I need to be better for her.
Suddenly, a massive spike is shot at us, but we manage to dodge. "Come back, Eri. How many times do I have to tell you? It's your fault." Overhaul says as he walks towards us. "You break people. That's just how you were born." Overhaul insults Eri. "Don't listen to him. Don't even look at him." Twice tells Eri. "You know how this goes. I always have to get my hands dirty because of your selfishness. Every action you take results in people dying. You're a cursed human—" I cut Overhaul off by dashing at him and I try to stab him, but he puts his hand up to block it and I pierce through it.
"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO YOUR OWN CHILD?!" I scream. "Huh? Oh right. That's the story I told you. I don't have any children." Overhaul says as he tries to grab me, but I jump back and he touches the ground, destroying it and creating more spikes to pierce us. One of them gets me in the arm. "AAAAGGGHHHH!" I scream in pain. "TOGA!" Twice yells. "I'll be–grr–fine!" I yell, pulling my arm off the spike. "You could've hurt her, but you didn't care!" Lemillion yells. "Yeah, it wouldn't be a big deal if she got hurt." Overhaul says, coldly. He touches the ground again and destroys it. "If I put her back together immediately, I can revive her. Even if she's not quite the way she was before." Overhaul says as I grit my teeth in anger.
Suddenly, Overhaul creates more spikes to attack us. Lemillion permeates through the spikes, Twice holds onto Eri as he jumps around the spikes, and I try to do the same, but I end up cuts all over me. "What'll you do if Eri gets injured? Under these conditions, I'm the only one who can heal her. I've blocked your escape, so you have no escape. Now, let's finish this." Overhaul says, preparing for a fight as the area now looks like an arena. The guy dressed in white, Kurono, arrives and points a gun at Twice.
"Twice look out!" I yell. Kurono shoots at Twice, but Twice makes clones of Dabi as they take the bullet and turn into mud. Lemillion then appears from the floor beneath Kurono and uppercuts him. Twice charges at Kurono to fight him as Overhaul tries to attack Lemilllion, but I throw a knife at him, causing him to back off. I pull out another knife as I charge at Overhaul. Overhaul tries to touch the ground, but I manage to reach him and I try to slice at him.
While he's distracted, Lemillion permeates through the floor and knees Overhaul in the face. "You won't ever touch her again! I'll take on anyone I have to!" Lemillion yells. "MASTER!" Nemoto yells, revealing himself as he pulls himself out of the rubble. "Nemoto! Here!" Overhaul yells as he throws a small box at him and a red bullet falls out. Those are the quirk erasing bullets! Nemoto then aims the gun at Eri. "ERI!" I yell. Twice is busy with Kurono, so he won't be able to reach! I dash towards Eri to try and reach her.
You've been living with so much despair this whole time. Thinking you had no choice but to suffer. I know what that's like. My parents tried to make me put on a mask to hide what I really was. What my quirk needed. I always thought that I had no choice but to suffer for what I am. But, I don't think like that anymore. I just want to be myself, and to find love. And I've met people who've accepted me for what I am. You don't need to live thinking you had to suffer, Eri. You don't have to be afraid. I won't let you suffer anymore. I cover her body as the bullet hits me.
Twice's pov
"TOGA!" I yell in despair. I knock Kurono away as I run towards Toga and Eri. "Miss. Toga! Are you alright?!" Eri asks as Toga pulls a red bullet out of her shoulder. Oh no. "Toga, are you alright?!" I ask. "I feel…strange." Toga says as she looks at her hand sees blood on it. She licks it, but immediately spits it out. "That was disgusting!" Toga yells. "Wait. But, don't you like blood?" I ask. "I…I…What did that bullet do to me?" Toga asks. "It seems the bullet worked." Overhaul says as I turn to see Lemillion bloodied, and with his costume torn up.
"That bullet is made to destroy quirks. It seems it worked on you." Overhaul explains. "My quirk…is gone?" Toga asks, in shock. "Yes. Though you should be happy. Now that you won't be full with bloodlust." Overhaul mocks her. "You bastard!" I yell, getting in front of Eri and Toga. "First Magne, now Toga! I won't let you hurt anyone else I care for!" I yell. I need to protect them! No matter what! "We both know that won't happen since you won't clone yourself. You've got nothing to face me with." Overhaul says.
He's right. But…I can't lose Toga! I have to be strong, even if I don't have a quirk. Garou fought people with powerful quirks and won, so I can too. "I don't need my quirk. Garou showed that I don't need a quirk to fight. I may not be skilled in combat, but I'll die trying if it means to protect the ones I care about!" I yell as I get ready to fight. However, the wall bursts open as a green haired kid appears through the hole. Oh shit! Not him again!
Midoriya's pov
Sir Nighteye, Aizawa, and I burst through the wall to see Miro all bloodied and bruised, and Twice protecting Toga and Eri. Thinking quickly, I dash at Overhaul and punch him, sending him into a wall. "Miro, are you alright?!" Nighteye asks. "I'm fine. But you need to get Eri out of here and Toga medical attention. She's badly beat up to hell." Miro says. "Midoriya, with me!" Aizawa yells, getting my attention as we dash at Overhaul.
Overhaul is trying to touch the ground, but he can't use his quirk due to Aizawa using his quirk on him. "Togata already has him backed into a corner. It's up to us to finish this!" Aizawa explains. "Yes sir!" I yell. "Grr! TIME TO GET UP, KURONO!" Overhaul yells as Aizawa suddenly pushes me away as a long blade appears from one of Overhaul's men. "Those pierced by the long hand will find their movements slowed. I meant to hit both of you, but that's heroes for ya." Kurono says as he is suddenly punched by Nighteye, knocking him out.
I try to attack Overhaul again, but he ends up touching the ground and creates huge spikes to attack the others and I. "As if I let my plan be ruined by people like you who're sick in the head. You get it, Nemoto." Overhaul says as he crawls to Nemoto's unconscious body. "I won't allow all my hard work to end here. You've always been eager to help, so I know you'll give your life for my cause, won't you?" Overhaul says as he touches Nemoto and combines himself with Nemoto, giving him extra arms.
"Now, heroes. I'll have you return Eri to me!" Overhaul yells. "We have to make our stand here. Twice, will you assist us?" Nighteye asks, stepping by my side. "If it saves Toga, then yeah." Twice agrees. "You won't stop me. I will complete my mission and—" Overhaul is cut off as the roof suddenly collapses. "What the hell?!" I yell as a massive man falls and hits the ground. "Who is…Wait. That's Rikiya Katsukame!" Nighteye identifies the large man. Upon looking at him, I notice that he's covered in burns. "Who did this?" I ask. Suddenly, multiple individuals jump from the massive hole in the roof and land on Katsukame.
"Sorry we're late. Had to deal with a nuisance." A familiar voice says. The individual is Garou with his whole group behind him. "Now, Overhaul. It's finally time to settle the score, you chicken faced bastard." Garou says, cracking his knuckles as the others behind him prepare for battle.
