After his clones teleported the mages out of the temple, Ben's clones dispel themselves to conserve Ben's magic power. The mages want to re-enter the temple, but they were stopped by a transparent barrier that Ben erected.
They try to breach it, but no one was successful even with their strongest spells. Ben erected it with the best formation he learned from the Magic Library. The barrier is strong enough to stop Deliora's attack, so it won't be breached so easily.
"Damn, who is that guy?" Natsu angrily asked as he punched the barrier.
"He said he is a demon hunter and the spell he used to block Deliora's attack looks like yours, Natsu. Is he a Slayer too?" Lucy questioned.
"He must be a Devil Slayer, a type of slayer just like a Dragon Slayer. They're even rarer than your kind, just like God Slayers because demons don't normally teach their magic to humans unlike dragons." Zalty said with a serious tone.
"Is that so? Wait! Why are you talking to us like we're friends?" Lucy suddenly asked.
"Eh? He he he, I just wanted to explain it." Zalty admitted sheepishly.
"That's a good explanation, but I'm still mad at you." Natsu said as he threw a flaming punch at Zalty, who dodged it.
Both sides move back to gather with their own side and look at each other. They were just about to fight when suddenly they hear footsteps coming from the forest. They all look at the source and the Fairy Tail mages were scared when they saw the person walking through the forest.
"E-E-ERZA?!" The Fairy Tail mages shout while hugging each other as they see Erza's angry face.
"W-Why are you here?" A scared Natsu asked.
"I'm here to take back those who break the guild's rules. Gray, you were sent to stop them, so why are you helping them instead?" Erza questioned out loud.
Gray looks at Erza and then at Lyon.
"Well, I-" He was cut off.
BOOM*
A loud explosion from the temple interrupted Gray's speech. They all look at it and see a massive explosion inside the dome. It produced a fire that covered half of the dome and shook it, but the dome didn't even crack.
"What a strong barrier." Lucy commented.
"What happened here? Explain everything!" Erza ordered.
"A-AYE!" Natsu, Lucy and Happy exclaimed together.
Lucy then explained everything to Erza and Titania looked at the barrier with a serious expression.
"A Devil Slayer, a type of Slayer like Natsu is a Dragon Slayer, huh? So he is fighting a very strong demon?" Erza asked.
"Y-yes." Lucy nodded.
"I understand the situation. We'll leave this to him and return to the guild. Breaking guild rules isn't a small matter." Erza said seriously.
"I know, but we can't just leave like this. The villagers are in danger because of these guys. I also don't know if that Devil Slayer can defeat the demon alone." Natsu said as he pointed at Lyon's group.
"Is that it?" Erza asked.
Natsu, Lucy and Happy can't say anything else, but Gray suddenly stated, "Erza. I know this is breaking the guild rules and we will be punished. We will take that punishment, no, I will take that punishment. The villagers are in danger and we can't just leave it like that. We are not heartless people who can't feel others suffering. And that will ruin our guild's name."
Gray said it so seriously that Natsu, Lucy and Happy can't help but be amazed by it. Erza looked at Gray seriously before smiling.
"Alright. I will let you finish the job. But you'll still be punished after we return." She said.
"No problem." The four reply.
The Fairy Tail mages then look at Lyon's group and only see Lyon there. They look around for the others as Lucy had a realization.
"THIS IS BAD, THEY WENT TO THE VILLAGE!" Lucy screamed.
"WHAT!?" The others exclaim in surprise.
"Go and stop them. I will fight Lyon. Sorry, but this is personal." Gray said.
The others nod and leave.
"Let's finish this, Lyon." Gray said.
"Humph, stop talking and just do it." Lyon muttered.
Both sides resume their confrontation again with an addition to Fairy Tail's group. They just need to fight Lyon's group now and don't need to worry about Deliora. Although they weren't sure Ben could defeat Deliora, especially Gray and Lyon.
Inside the temple, Ben's fight with Deliora began. But he hadn't attacked and just dodged Deliora's attacks. He wanted to measure Deliora's power that is said to be very high.
"Is this it? Is that all you've got, Deliora? This doesn't match your legend at all. The Immortal Demon that caused a lot of destruction and killed a lot of strong mages. This level of power doesn't prove it. Sure, you're strong, but this is not what I expected. It seems you were weakened while being sealed in that ice for 10 years." Ben asked as he evaded another beam.
BOOM*
The beam generated a massive explosion behind Ben. Deliora was strong even now and he knew he couldn't easily defeat Deliora. But it's still nothing compared to the power written in the records.
"Well, you might regain your full power if I gave you time. But it will take days, weeks, months or even years. No one knows precisely, so I can't do that. Besides, my job is kill you, so that's what I will do." Ben said as a big purple magic circle appeared in front of him.
Ben stepped into the magic circle and passed it like a door.
"Gravity Mode: Devil Slayer Version!" After stepping through the magic circle, Ben's body is covered in a purple aura. A pair of sharp ears and horns appear on his head. It also created a long tail with an arrowhead tip on his back. Then there are big, sharp claws on his hands and feet too.
Deliora flinched and took a step back after seeing Ben's transformation. He can feel a strong demonic aura coming from Ben now. Ben's power level wasn't what scared him, it was the demonic aura.
Ben extended his right hand towards Deliora and made a grabbing motion. Deliora felt something grab his face and Ben suddenly flew towards him while pulling his right hand. It is one of gravity power's usage, pulling.
The Gravity Pull also affects Deliora and his face gets pulled towards Ben. He wants to shoot another beam, but Ben arrived in front of his face. Ben punched his face with a fist that had Gravity Push added to it.
BAM*
Deliora's face got hit and he flew into the barrier behind him. He crashed into the barrier and shook it before falling to the ground. Ben's punch caused him to have a expression of disbelief and anger because no one had ever done that before.
"ROAR!" Deliora roared in anger and prepared another beam from his mouth.
"Beam again? That must be your only magic, or curse in this case." Ben said as he descended to the ground.
Deliora fired his energy beam at Ben and it moves really fast. Ben pushed himself to the left with his Gravity Push and evaded the beam. But Deliora moved the beam to follow Ben's movement.
"He can move it, huh?" Ben questioned as the beam got closer to him.
Ben extended his right hand to Deliora's right foot.
"Sun Devil Gravity Pull!" Deliora's right foot was suddenly pulled forward and it made him fall backwards. His fall caused the beam to go up and hit the barrier. Ben's spell made Deliora fall comically as if he slipped on the ground amidst a battle.
"Well, sometimes strong opponents are defeated by something stupid." Ben said while tilting his head.
Deliora got up and shook his head while rubbing the bump on the back of his head.
"But it would appear he's not defeated yet. What should I do to make him lose stupidly." Ben sighed.
"ROAR!" Deliora screamed angrily.
"Oh, he's mad. Well, of course he would be." Ben said jokingly as he rushed at Deliora again while still thinking of a way to defeat Deliora in a stupid manner. What stupid thinking.
