Chapter 9

Emma sat in the window seat in her old dorm room and gazed out the window. Today was her wedding day and somehow, Regina had gotten them to be able to stay at the school the night before. She, Maleficent, and Ruby stayed in their old dorm while Regina, Zelena, Kathryn, and baby Adeline stayed in Zelena's old dorm. The blonde couldn't believe this was happening almost exactly a year after she'd first come back.

"You didn't want to come here." Maleficent said softly. "You wanted to turn around so many times."

"I know. But you kept pushing me on. Thank you." Emma said, smiling at Mal. "Thank you for making me come here."

Mal smiled softly. "You know it didn't take much, but you're welcome. Are you nervous?"

Emma thought a bit. "Actually, no. I'm excited. I wish Henry was still alive though. I know we'd have his support."

"He's watching. I'm sure he is." Mal said softly. "Come on, let's go get breakfast."

Though the two spent the night separately, they didn't stick to not seeing each other beforehand. The group had breakfast and then all started getting ready, however, Zelena pulled Emma aside once the others were in their rooms. "I love you." She said with a smile, wrapping her arms around Emma and kissing her.

"I love you, too. I can't wait to be your wife." Emma said with a smile. "I can't believe this is happening."

"Believe it, my love. It's happening in about an hour. Go get ready." She said with a smile.

"I'll see you soon."

Emma let Ruby do her hair and make up as Mal did the final steam press of her outfit. She had opted for a very dressy, white, jumpsuit that fit her perfectly and made her look beautiful. "It's all ready." Mal said, turning to look at Emma with a smile. "I feel like my baby is getting married."

Emma laughed softly. "Your baby sister maybe. Thank you so much for being here."

Mal hugged her. "Thank you for having me here. Now, let's get you dressed."

Zelena looked in the mirror as Regina tied up her dress. She'd gone full princess gown and loved it. "I can't believe this is happening. I was so sure I'd never see her again."

Regina smiled softly. "Me too, honestly. But thank gods she found Mal when she did." She came to stand beside her sister, glancing at her daughter in her buggy. "I'm so happy for you, Zee."

Zelena smiled softly. "Thank you, Gina. Daddy would be happy too, right?"

"Very happy. He's here with us, Zee. I know he is."

Zelena nodded. "He is. Okay, I think I'm ready."

There weren't many there as they wanted to keep it small. Regina and Graham sat with Adeline. Kathryn was there with her man of the month. Ruby and Mal sat by each other, and there were a few others that Zelena or Emma or both had known in school that still lived in town. Mr. Gold was officiating and smiled when the two women met in front of him. He went through everything and smiled at Emma. "Emma, you may say your vows."

Emma took a deep breath and held Zelena's hands as she smiled. "I don't have a lot, but I hope what I do have shows how much I love you. You were my first love and my only love. Even when we were teens, I knew I always wanted to be with you. Though our journey took separate roads, we still got here, Lena. I lost you for a while, but I won't do that again." She took a breath. "There were times I didn't want to live anymore, times I didn't think I could live anymore. I pictured you so many times when I was at my lowest and though I did…I did try, I am glad I didn't succeed. I'm so glad to be here with you right now and forever. I vow I will always fight for us, I will always be here for you no matter what. I will always love, cherish, respect, adore, and treasure you. I won't be perfect, I can't be, but I'll be the best wife I can be with you."

Zelena smiled and while she wanted to kiss Emma, she knew she had to wait. She took her queue and squeezed Emma's hand. "I could never get over you." She said with a chuckle. "I think there was a part of me that didn't want to. I had always, always hoped I'd see you again. When I did, and I found out everything, I didn't know if you'd ever forgive me, even if it wasn't directly my fault. I'm so sorry you went through what you did, but I'm so beyond thankful you're alive. Emma, I love you more now than I ever thought I could. Every day it grows and I vow to keep that growing. I promise you will never again wonder if it would be better if you weren't alive. You will never again feel not good enough. I will make sure you're always loved and safe."

Emma smiled and squeezed Zelena's hand back. Mr. Gold smiled as he finished. "You may kiss." He stated.

Zelena pulled Emma to her, kissing her hard and making those watching chuckle a little. Emma kissed her back and wished they were alone just for that moment, but knew they would be soon.

Regina stood. "Please join us in celebration. The bar is open and food will be out shortly."

The greenhouse was beautifully decorated with candles, fairy lights, and of course flowers. Emma pulled Zelena outside and pulled her in her arms kissing her. "We're married."

"We are." Zelena said, wiping at Emma's tears. "Don't cry."

"I'm sorry." Emma said, blushing and looking down. "I just…I'm just so happy. They're happy tears."

Zelena kissed both of Emma's cheeks softly and rested her forehead against her wife's. "Only happy tears from now on."

"I couldn't be happier, Lena. I love you so much."

"I love you, too."

"Come on guys, dinner is ready." Regina called as she came outside. "You'll have all night to consummate." She chuckled. "Mal and Ruby are staying at Granny's tonight so you'll have your place to yourselves."

Emma smiled and took Zelena's hand, turning to the door. "We're coming."

The dinner was great and though it was low key, they did do some dancing. Emma couldn't stop smiling and Zelena felt a happiness she'd never felt before. They hugged each of their guests and finally were being driven home in the limo Regina had hired for them.

"Please tell me your dress is easy to take off." Emma whispered against Zelena's lips as the two broke apart for some breaths.

Zelena chuckled. "It is, I promise. As long as you can untie."

"You bet I can." She grinned.

Once home, Emma smiled and made Zelena stop walking before they came in. "What?" the redhead asked curiously.

"Tradition." Emma shrugged, taking a breath as she picked up Zelena bridal style.

"Woah." Zelena said with a chuckle as she wrapped her arms around Emma's neck. "My strong, sexy wife."

Emma made it the few steps and once inside, she gently put Zelena down. The two stood together, gazing at each other. "I love you, Mrs. Swan."

Zelena smiled wide at that. "I'm so glad I took your name." She bit her lip flirtatiously and turned. "Untie my dress?"

Emma grinned and undid the small bow at the top. She took the string out, hole by hole, and once it was undone, she slid the dress down, her hands sliding down Zelena's sides. Zelena carefully stepped out of her dress and put it over the sofa. In a very sexy pair of white lacey panties and a matching bra, she turned to face Emma. "Like what you see?" She asked, a bit of a shy blush to her cheeks.

Emma's eyes were blown with lust as she roamed over her wife's body. She shook her head. "No. I don't like it. I love it. You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."

Zelena smiled softly at that. "And you're wearing far too many clothes, my love." She said, coming over and standing behind Emma to unzip her jumpsuit. "This is so sexy. I'm glad you didn't go with a whole suit and tie, because I like you in dress clothes." She said, sliding the zipper down. When it was all the way down, her arms guided the sleeves off Emma's arms and she let it fall to the ground as her hands wrapped around Emma's body and she pulled her to her, kissing her neck. "I love you so much." She whispered before giving a teasing lick to Emma's earlobe.

Emma turned and wrapped her arms around Zelena, loving not for the first time, that she was shorter than her wife. There was just something about that, that made her feel safe. "I love you, too. Now, where are we doing round one?" She grinned.

Zelena smirked. "Now, it's my turn." She said as she reached around and lifted Emma into her arms, Emma's legs wrapping around her.

"Zelena…be careful."

"I'm fine, love. You're not the only fit one." She said and kissed Emma as she walked them to their room. Even though it was just them there, she still closed their door and pressed Emma against it as they continued kissing. She took Emma's tongue in her mouth and sucked on it before letting hers explore her wife's mouth.

Emma felt the door behind her and kissed Zelena back, loving the passion she felt for and from her wife. She tried to undo her legs, but Zelena quickly smacked her thigh, so instead, she tightened them around Zelena. She tilted her head as Zelena kissed her neck, finding her favorite spot that left the blonde's core dripping. Finally, Zelena let Emma stand as she undid Emma's bra from behind her. Quickly, she moved down to take a pert nipple in her mouth, licking it softly before sucking hard and causing Emma to moan. Zelena grinned. "Let it out, love. It's just us tonight."

Emma was panting and she reached around to undo Zelena's bra as well. "We still have neighbors." She laughed softly.

"Oh well." Zelena grinned and reached down to take off Emma's panties. "Someone is ready."

"Someone has been ready." Emma growled, ready to be touched. She took Zelena's hand and went to the bed, sitting the redhead down. She got on her knees between Zelena's legs and kissed her thighs to get them to open.

"I wanted you to be first." Zelena moaned, though her legs still opened.

Emma smiled up at her. "I'm just getting started, love. I have a surprise in the top drawer for you." She tilted her head to get her to look.

Zelena reached over and a wicked smile came to her. "You didn't."

"Then at least come up here on the bed." Zelena said, scooting back on the bed as she watched Emma get up.

Emma crawled on the bed and then leaned down, taking Zelena's garter between her teeth. She pulled it off her leg and kissed her way back up to her center. Zelena lay on her elbows, watching her wife. She still couldn't believe this was real and she and Emma were really married. "Oh gods." She moaned as Emma swiped her tongue along her slit and up to her clit. She fell on her back and when her hips bucked a bit, Emma held them down.
