Chapter 157: Fighting Floor by floor, and room by room
It is now that I feel we have achieved significant progress, with regards our fight against Neptune in this nightmare, in which she is all that stands between us and waking up from this pathetic excuse of a dream. This I find to be a relief in a way, considering how long we've been here, fighting our way through to stop a nefarious plot that could cause untold misery against us all.
The grounds of this grand estate are under our control now, ensuring that the enemy will have no where to hide but in the estate itself, in which we know of it's layouts. Enemies of significant numbers and of significant quality have been wiped out, which will hopefully ensure that we will have a better chance against them. Furthermore, we have vehicles moving into position that we can use as back up if at all possible, with their armour and immense firepower.
We are about to enter the building itself, in which already most of our troops are inside engaging the enemy at various places, which will hopefully distract the enemy, and perhaps force those guarding the section we're about to enter, to divert troops to assist their allies, and thus the place becomes less-defended.
There's a strong sense in the air that this is it, even if there are probably more phases to go after this. I suppose this is because at last we're entering this grand estate with the intention of securing this place, as opposed to last night where we had to sneak around so we can rescue the hostages, which was a challenge to say the least, though it pleases me immensely to know that we succeeded in that task.
I have no doubt that we'll end up fighting monsters there along with bosses who are deadly, and will prove to be a significant challenge in taking out. In fact I've no doubt that even here, even with our forces providing cover, there'll be lots of enemy forces here, and they'll likely have the place we'll enter soon surrounded, which could mean that if we enter we could get mowed down, and they'll use this choke point to their advantage.
All we can do is to negate this risk as best as possible, and knowing that the enemy will perhaps be behind cover and be large in number, my plan is for us to use flash bangs, and to spray and pray, before peeking and if it's safe, to fire around the windows and ensure each part of the room is covered as best as possible.
After this, we will use smoke grenades and cautiously enter and take cover, before clearing out any enemies we may have missed, while keeping away from potential enemy fire coming from the other doorways to this entrance, before engaging the enemy in the areas surrounding the entrance, in which there's 3 sides we'll have to deal with.
Hopefully this can be done without any problems, especially with the numbers that we have, the losses that our enemy has incurred and how highly trained our forces are, and while this will use up much of our bullets and tactical grenades, I can call for extra ammunition if need be, and they can arrive in good time.
I give the order for us to execute our plan after explaining it to them and being assured that they understand it, as we all then carefully head to cover that's near windows and the entrance door, before we then throw flash bangs in, doing our best to ensure that they cover as much of the room as possible considering the size, before we then spray and pray from cover, again trying to make sure no enemy in there could possibly survive inside, or at the very least force them to retreat away.
With satisfaction that we've done our best, and having faith in our skills as soldiers, we then throw smoke grenades ensuring that the room is completely covered, before carefully entering, while sticking to the wall closest to us, and find cover so that we don't get ambushed from the sides adjacent to us, while keeping away from the corridor in front that leads to the entrance. This way, we can just deal with the enemies in the room itself before using our tactics, to engage the enemies that surround this grand entrance.
As we sneak in the room, and look for cover that's as close to the entrance as possible, without being in the line of sight from any enemies that are in the areas surrounding this entrance, I feel deeply relieved and calm, due to all the smoke from the grenades, as well as there being no gunfire. We just need to find some cover while bearing in mind how far we've travelled from our pacing, and then we can proceed to engage all the enemies on the other side.
But then as we make our way to the appropriate spot, I quickly realise that the entrance has a balcony overlooking it, and so I quickly order our troops to open fire at the enemy in the balcony, in hopes that we can kill them or at least send them to retreat before they can attack us. Our troops are successful in this, but then there's another problem, the entrance is partly partitioned into 3 sections, with a large main section, and two smaller sides next door on either side of the main section. The partition consists of a row of marble arches with extravagant borders.
This concerns me as the enemy can hide and take shots at us while being surrounded, and worse, they can potentially get reinforcements from upstairs, since these sections have staircases at the other side.
We need to get the arches secure as soon as possible, because there's too many places we can be shot at, and I'm concerned that there won't be enough hiding places to provide all the cover against these different directions, from where that they can hit us.
While dealing with the enemy on the stairs will be difficult due to having the higher ground, this will be a problem we'd have to face anyway, as we need to clear them out floor by floor, and room by room. Then there's the fact that if we can capture the stairs, we can secure the balcony and ensure that no enemy troops can go there and attack our forces below.
With this in mind, once we're in the best spots in the room we can possibly be to reduce the risk of us getting killed by the enemy, I order the soldiers to provide cover fire down the corridors that are to the sides, while we go further into the room, and position ourselves such that some of us are by the pillars supporting the arches, while the rest of us are past the line of sight the enemies would have in the corridors, and are taking cover with the intention of either fighting the enemies from the door in front, or in the corridors to the side, or even any enemies that come from the arches.
At least there's still smoke in the room from the grenades, though I'm concerned about how long it will last, as well as what enemies are there for us to deal with, especially considering how we're in a chokepoint. While there are allies in the building and we can call for reinforcements, we do need to press on to assist our allies, and secure this estate section by section.
It doesn't take long before our troops at the arches, then provide cover, while many of us advance to the next arch, with some of them staying there and the rest of them intending to move at the appropriate moment. Before we know it, everyone is in the best position possible and are engaging with the enemy forces that surround us, with myself, Noire and Uni at a position near one of the row of arches at the side of the room nearest the corridor, that is directly opposite the entrance door.
I then inform the allied troops that we're in the entrance, and with luck we can provide assistance eventually or at least divert enemy troops away from them.
They respond to me with great enthusiasm, thanking us for making it. I can sense how much this pleases them, and how as a result they will fight harder with this morale boost. After which I then hear that the other side of the arches are now secure. This is great news as while the enemy has the advantage of elevation, we have more hiding places with which to get them now.

Unfortunately, I then hear distinct gunfire, before hearing someone yell in a distinctive voice.
"Good to see the Britannians here, but where oh where is my lover Noire? You, Black and Uni send all these troops here, but not yourself. You had better be getting ready for me, and make this occasion one I will never forget. Don't worry if you have other people in the way of your love for me. I can kill them all for you, and then we can be together without anything to prevent that from happening. Come on Noire, you know I am your only true love." The voice calls out as if in love with Noire, and sounds really desperate.
I know who this is, it's K-Sha, a member of the Gold Third, and considered rivals to the goddesses. Yes I remember how she was in Lastation during Victory II, and tried to kill Uni because of her yanderistic tendencies, as well as not respecting the fact that Noire had no interest in her whatsoever, not to mention playing a significant role in overthrowing the CPU, despite the fact that she had no interest in ruling whatsoever and there were problems in Lastation afterwards.
And here she's fighting for Neptune, more than happy to slaughter our troops like it's a sport, just because she thinks that this will get her closer to Noire, and persuade her to love the yandere. Well it won't, and she will pay dearly for her actions, for I and my family and friends don't take kindly to someone callously killing our soldiers, for the sole reason that she can be with someone who doesn't want anything to do with her.
I must not let this incident register on an emotional level. I need to bear in mind who we're dealing with: a trained mercenary who's deadly with firearms. With this nightmare, she'll be a powerful boss, and so we'll need to distract her before killing her, and if her health is such that she can take being shot, then we'll need to disarm her, before trying again until she can be killed, or at the very worst, capturing her and ensuring that she cannot escape.
The trouble is she'll be hiding upstairs, knowing that we'll have to expose ourselves and her accuracy and super quick movements with her weapon, will ensure certain death for us before we can even find her.
We need to find a way of preventing her from being able to wipe us out like she did with the previous batch of soldiers, and it is then that I realise that we'll need to use flashbangs, and hopefully even if she shoots them, the explosion will hinder her ability to fight by a significant amount, and we can then use a smoke grenade to cover our movements when we throw those flashbangs, before moving in and taking her out, and hopefully clearing the enemy soldiers while we can keep an eye out for other enemy soldiers.
This tactic is indeed risky, as some of our troops can easily get wiped out, but her being alive is too risky because of how excellent of a shot K-Sha is. She's bound to defeat our forces batch by batch, and eliminating her is to be our top priority if we are to secure this area.
I inform them of my plan in which they agreed to it, and I then give the order to begin our attack against that moronic yandere, using the tactics I thought of, and just as I suspected she managed to shoot the flashbangs, though the range they have and the distance they have travelled are enough to stun her significantly, to the point where she moans about not being able to see, or hear. Our troops then mow her and the enemies that were lying in wait there down. Suddenly, I see enemies trying to shoot from cover, but we notice quickly and shoot their arms, forcing them to drop their weapons and bring their arms in.
We then reload and with back up head up the stairs, just so we can have a proper look that we did in fact get K-Sha. Among the dead enemy soldiers, is in fact her, I recognise her medium length grey hair held by a red headband, her straight cut bangs, and the hair that is before her ears being worn in thin braids, and I know her eyes to be turquoise, and she even wears the same clothes as she did in that terrible game.
They consist of a short dark grey dress with a black belt accented by gold, and on top of this is a red and white dress resembling a school uniform with gold buttons, and a four-tailed bow of goldenrod with a red K in the centre. Her dress is split from the chest down to the bottom, and two red ribbon tails can be seen sticking out from the bottom of her dress. On her wrist, is a red and white bracelet on a black band with a white K on the top, and she wears black socks with white miniature boots with a black band across the toe and red strings.
Upon seeing her dead body, I am satisfied that it is her we have eliminated, but I am honestly not satisfied with how easy it was to kill her, even if it required strategy and risk. I would have thought she would be a powerful tough boss considering our current location. I find myself keeping an eye on her, especially as she still has a weapon in her hand which I notice to be a Taurus Judge that's painted in gold, and I know this to be a revolver that fires shotgun shells. It's too bad that we can't secure her due to her position no doubt being overlooked by various soldiers. I must say I am surprised that there is no sense of anger to have lost such an individual, though it could either be that they're not bothered or that she's actually alright.
It's just as well that I have that suspicion, because then I see her try to point her gun at me and look at me, but I suspected this would happen and I shot at her first killing her again. So this is what makes her deadly, the fact that she can be revived after being seemingly killed. Interesting that we've had that ability when we fight our enemies while we're awake, as long as we can drink more of the appropriate perk a cola, but now we have to face one with such an ability, only in this case it seems to take time.
I suppose the issue is, is how to deal with her, it would be a lot better if this is a simple case of her having several lives and once all of them are gone, she's actually dead and away from the nightmare for good. I guess there's nothing for it, but to keep her dead for as long as we can, and to try and secure her location so we can strip her weapons, and lock her up, or find a means to keep her dead.
Before I was about to order for our soldiers to try and secure her location by providing covering fire, I then see enemy soldiers rushing towards our position, in which in response I order the troops to deal with them, while I keep an eye on K-Sha.
I then throw a flash bang at the direction where they are coming from as best as I could, hoping to perhaps either buy time, or make it easier for our forces. I'm struggling to think which course of action to take, whether to risk leaving her so that we can survive, and try and defeat them here, or whether to make a stand here, and take the risk of surviving their charge against us.
I decide to make my decision based on circumstances, there are a significant number of us here, and we're better trained than those enemies who are charging at us, and besides if we have to retreat, it'll be a challenge trying to retake the stairs and the yandere could get wise to our tactic, and perhaps we'll never be able to take those stairs. If enough of our troops are to die here, then I'll order the retreat but for now we are to mow them down and hold, while I call for reinforcements both in troops, and in ammunition so that we can at least take away K-Sha's ability to kill us.
The yandere revives herself again but I shoot her, but then I notice someone try to use a makeshift dog lead on her leg, in an attempt to drag her away, in which in response I order troops to spray and pray at the concerned direction. The enemy has stopped charging at us, but instead they open fire towards the staircase from a relative far away position, forcing us to take cover. The thing is while she has stopped moving away, the makeshift dog lead is still on her leg, and they can still pull her away. They will try and pull her again while they have cover fire, and she'll wait for the right moment to revive, and either retreat or try and kill us once again.
She then wakes up again, only for me to shoot her once more, but it's at that moment that they drag her away, and there seems to be loads of them doing that and so we spray and pray at them. Yet the thing is while I'm certain we have wiped them out, her body is no longer within our sight unless we can peek around the corner, which does concern me.
Suddenly, I then see Noire get out a small mirror, in which she looks at it, as if to check something only to then suggest to me that we can use the mirror to see any enemies that come from the side. It's one that has a stand and with great care she places it at the top step, and pushes it with the barrel of her gun, allowing us to see via the mirror, only to find dead bodies of enemy soldiers, along with K-Sha, who's about to rush away from our position only for us to shoot her down. Unfortunately it is then that she's dragged away by rope, but the people doing the dragging cannot be seen because they're hiding.
The only thing that can be done right now is to shoot the rope, and hope that it will take time for them to get another one, but that is not to be as after shooting it, it doesn't take long for the enemy to expose themselves and open fire, forcing us to retreat and take cover, before spraying and praying once again, only for us to look at the mirror and find that she has gotten away.
This is not ideal to say the very least as while we could track her down, and do our best in dealing with the enemies, I suspect that they're hiding, and there's also the risk of us getting flanked from the other side, and that other staircase needs to be secure if we are to clear out the enemies on this floor, and perhaps pursue that insane yandere.
It's unfortunate that her escape negates us killing more of them, in which that is great news considering their numbers must be dwindling by a significant amount, as well as us getting K-Sha several times, and perhaps hurt her pride in that she had to rely on her troops to rescue her, and it's all because of her being a dangerous threat, as she can easily slay our forces and retreat, thus allowing the enemy to potentially flank the rest of them and to mop them up, which will help buy plenty of time for Neptune.
I quickly get on the radio to announce to the others about the yandere, describing her appearance and how dangerous she is with her skills as a weapon, and that while she can be killed, she can revive herself, and that they need to capture her and disarm her if possible.
After this, I then learn that the staircase on the other side has been secured and our forces there are advancing to the corner away from us, which pleases me as we can begin fighting our way through the second floor while we're here, especially as if we can fight here, that's less troops that can reinforce their allies on the ground floor, perhaps countering K-Sha's potential benefits she brings to her side.
While I'm certain that she'll try and cause as much damage as possible, I do wonder what exactly she'll try to do, whether she'll try and ambush us again, or just leave us and go after what she perceives to be weaker targets? Whatever she'll intend to do I'm confident that her desires are to lure us to her, so she can perhaps try again and hopefully succeed. I just hope that she's started off with several lives, and that we just need to kill her a few more times, before she's completely gone.
All we can do now as always, is to fight what's in front of us, and be ready for her or any other bosses that the enemy wishes to throw at us.
We know that the enemy will probably be overlooking the corner that we're facing, and are probably waiting for us so that they can ambush us, and with this in mind we crawl along the royal red extravagant carpet, and past the massive extravagant paintings of various historic figures dressed in various clothes from various eras.
It does concern me that we're effectively exposed right now as we move along even if we're crawling, this is exactly what that yandere enjoys very much: easy target practice, and while I don't like the idea of being concerned about the likes of her, I cannot afford to underestimate her abilities as much as I don't like her. In fact I can't afford to underestimate the enemy here full stop, especially with how close we are to defeating Neptune, and how easy it is for us to die by their hands.
Still, if we can reach the appropriate point, then we'll have an element of surprise against them, and we can in fact ambush them, and maybe even get K-Sha too, though I get the sense that she won't fall for that again, no she'll be somewhere where I least suspect her.
It takes a fair while, but we do reach the appropriate point without any incident, perhaps because they can't hear us over all the gunfire that is occurring in this grand estate. As soon as we get there, I order one of our guys to throw a smoke grenade at our location, before throwing several flash bangs around the corner, only for us to then shoot around the corner taking out the enemies there.
The thing is, while these actions do take place, there doesn't seem to be many enemies, and if anything rather than try and attack us, they appear to have retreated and we have took out those that have failed to get away. Yeah it figures that perhaps K-Sha has told them of this trick, and something tells me that she's nearby, and worse still, the trap I tried to set up for the enemy, could in fact be a trap that she's set up for us, and we fell for it.
We can only be careful and fight our way through, and her trap will probably be just up ahead. In fact I'm certain of it, because I remember that we'll be heading for a corridor in which there's rooms on either side of it. They're going to hide in there and strike when appropriate, in an attempt to confuse us, and take advantage of the fact that we'll be in an effective chokepoint yet again.
While keeping our guns pointed at the direction that they can get us from, and being in a crouched position to reduce the risk of getting shot by the enemy, we head towards the appropriate point, where we're close to the corridor on our right, but we are too far away to be spotted by the enemy.
I can sense us all feeling on edge, expecting to be ambushed, expecting to be killed by them, as they know we're coming, but once again it doesn't happen. OK, calm down Black, calm down, they want us to be on edge so that they can kill us easier, we just need to keep calm, use our logic and do our best, I'm sure she's just as frustrated as I am about the situation, it must have hurt her pride massively to have to be dragged away by her own forces, and be shot repeatedly by us. If we can survive her trap, and outwit her, then she'll no doubt be even more distraught.
Upon remembering the layout of this estate, just as we reach the appropriate spot, I realise what is around the corner: a corridor with doors to rooms on both sides, and there'll be several on each side. It'll be full of enemies with their guns pointed in one particular direction, and I've no doubt that they'll try and hide at appropriate moments in an attempt to confuse us.
Hmmm… but how to respond to this? Even trying to spray and pray will just get ourselves killed, as there'll be too many of them, and they'll already be there. Yet if we try and use tactical grenades against them, K-Sha will probably shoot them down with her superb aiming. Hmmm… It's too bad we can't just stay here because that's buying time for that nefarious Neptune, and will mean that our allies from elsewhere will struggle more as we're no longer fighting enemies, and thus forcing them to divert troops away to try and deal with us, not to mention we won't be able to assist our allies by flanking the enemies that are giving them grief.
I guess there's only one thing that can be done, to just try our best and if it doesn't work then wait for reinforcements, and hold position, since at least we're keeping significant numbers of their troops here. Though it'll probably not work, I give the order for a smoke grenade to be thrown where the corridor starts on our side in the middle, as well as for another one to be thrown where the enemies are, in hopes that it can at least partition in some respects the corridor, hopefully preventing those from behind the smoke from seeing us and engaging with us.
The thing is just as I predicted while the first one went without a problem, the second one got shot in a reasonably quick time, causing smoke to appear near us. I guess all we can do is to just try and spray and pray from here and hope for the bes… Wait a minute, we can use the smoke for cover, we can crawl through the smoke until we can see the enemies, and then we can take them out, and then we can throw another one to help partition the corridor like before, and then we can clear out the rooms one at a time.
Yes, I get the sense that the enemy soldiers leaning from cover in those rooms, will have looks that are full of concern now that they know we're coming, but they can't see us coming at all. They must be struggling to think what to do, since while they could shoot at the spot where we're coming from, they'll just burn through their ammunition, they could shoot back as best as they can when we attack, but they'll get slaughtered before they can get a single kill, or they can retreat but then they'll die if they pop their heads out, and are at risk from getting stunned, by our tactical grenades once we clear them out room by room.
It makes a nice contrast to us struggling to think of how to deal with them, as we split ourselves into three groups with one of the groups clearing a room on one side, another group doing the same for the other, and they are to work their way through each room in the corridor, in which I tell them that the rooms will be big and include an en-suite bathroom, until they're cleared, while the rest of us stay prone in the smoke, keeping an eye out for any enemies that pop out from one of the doors, or even from the corridor itself.
Surprisingly, enemy soldiers from some of the rooms try and attack us including K-Sha herself, but with there being enough of us to watch the doors, and them not knowing exactly where to look for us, we mow them down reasonably quickly, though this proves to be a mere distraction.
After they're dealt with a wave of significant size of mutants with various melee weapons then rush towards us, in which even with us being prone and through the smoke, they'll see us.
We open fire in response, and we manage to mow them all down though it is a close call, especially with how they have almost reached our location. It is then that we realise that we are going to need smoke from smoke grenades further along the corridor, since if they come out again, next time our soldiers may be killed due to them being seen, as they move from room to room and clear them.
I therefore decide to inform my allies in this corridor of my plan, which they agree to before we commence it, which is for a smoke grenade to be thrown in the corridor at around the halfway point between one end and the other, and when our allied soldiers have cleared the rooms up until where the smoke is, they are to wait for us to head to the smoke where we'll be prone, and keep an eye out for any enemies that dare to show up, while the other troops carry on clearing the rest of the rooms, and take extra care in the room that K-Sha is in.
Even though things appear to be going our way, and the yandere's doom or at least capture seems imminent, I still have concerns running through my mind, especially since she knows that she's cornered and must surely have a backup plan to prepare for events such as this. The thing is while it's probable that she does, all we can do is to just see what she does, and respond to it as best as we can, and keep our eyes, ears even noses open for anything that spells trouble for us.
I can't help but notice that the moronic yandere does no taunting of any kind whatsoever, and it's such a contrast to earlier. I wonder why not or is it because she doesn't feel as confident right now, considering how she's effectively trapped, and knows that we can counter her tactics. It doesn't matter, for I look forward to putting an end to her for good and deny her the chance for her to kill any more of our loyal soldiers, just so she can get closer to us, even if that won't happen no matter how many she kills, and what a relief she's killed only a small number.
Just after I finished thinking about the lack of taunts coming from K-Sha, I notice a smoke grenade is thrown by the Britannian soldiers, and it forms a smoke screen at the ideal place, and so we crawl to it, suspecting a surprise attack from the enemy, only for there to be nothing for all this time. This does concern me, and makes me suspicious that someone like the yandere would not be prepared for this, and is just going to fight with whoever's in her room, knowing we have tactical grenades, and she can only shoot them if she sees them, but isn't immune to it's effects.
We reach the smoke from the smoke grenade, and nothing has happened at all, then the allied soldiers of ours clears a room successfully on each side, nothing, then the next room on each side, again nothing. But the thing is just as the final set of rooms was about to be cleared of enemies, and one of the soldiers has thrown a flash bang in, as if that was in of itself a signal, enemies from the other side of the corridor appear to try and ambush those troops, forcing an engagement.
I figured she'd wait for troops to try and enter her room before calling in reinforcements, as if to effectively taunt us, even though we are determined not to let this ambush stop us from taking her and her soldiers out.
The enemy soldiers try to fight us, but they can only see the Britannians that were standing by the door, though those that haven't been killed have taken a prone position, and the enemy are being mowed down. K-Sha tries to fight with what appears to be 2 gold plated P90s that she holds in each hand, but I notice Uni quickly killing her, in fact she was waiting for her to make a move, knowing that she would do that and thanks to the actions of the Lastation CPU Candidate, K-Sha could only take out a few people.
Even mutants attempt to get us again but they too get mowed down, with only a fraction of them managing to reach us but failing to deal any lethal blows before they get shot. Unfortunately though, while we have survived the ambush, the teams that were clearing out the rooms haven't, and there were a significant number of them.
Note: Readers please listen to The Man With the Golden Gun Return to Scaramanga's Fun House while reading this bit:
As I notice the yandere's dead body being pulled away into the room, I find myself thinking that as tragic as those Britainnian deaths were, they won't be in vain, we must have taken out lots of their forces, even upstairs they've lost a significant number, and I can sense that this will have resulted in a significant drop in enemy concentration on this floor, in which perhaps they were to provide back up and deal with our forces on the ground floor, and our forces on the second floor, and if K-Sha can be captured or killed here, then Neptune will have lost a powerful ally, in one that is a deadly shot and can revive herself, or at least several times.
With this said, time is of the essence for what is to stop them from attacking us again between now and when we can have more reinforcements. Se need to split ourselves into two groups, with one going on ahead to keep the enemy of our backs, and for the other to split themselves into two groups, with each one of them dealing with one of the remaining rooms.
Knowing the layout of the room we are to go in, even if the furniture and perhaps exact positioning will be different, I lead the way towards the door in which before we enter, we are to throw flash bangs and ensure they cover as wide of an area as possible, and kill any enemies in there once the flash bangs have done their thing.
I try not to feel stressed about this, but the situation is rather tense because of the time we have and who we are dealing with, I just hope that our tactics can continue to beat theirs, and that I can defeat them, for this is a crucial battle. It's victory or destruction for us all, not to mention pride for I know how much of a pro K-Sha sees herself as when it comes to guns, but it's not just how experienced one is with guns, but tactics knowing how to outmanoeuvre as well as making use of other equipment.
With care we open the door and throw flashbangs into the room covering as much of the place as possible, waiting to see if the enemy shoots first, before carefully going in and shooting the enemies who are too disorientated to react, and checking the grand room for any enemies, only to find that they are all dead, though none of them includes the yandere herself. We even look in the elegant white wardrobe there, as well as under and around the four poster bed which is made of wood of top quality, and has light green curtains, green quilts, and pillows only for her not to be there.
She must be in the bathroom, and the fact that there hasn't been anyone that she recognises to say it's safe, tells her all she needs to know about the situation that she's in. She's probably nervous, fearful, but still defiant and ready, certain to do her best against our tactics, and I know that she won't go down as easily as the others.
The door is locked, but that won't be a problem for us, since we can just shoot the hinges down at an angle where she won't know where the shooter is. The issue will be finding her exact location and making sure that she gets shot first, since once she knows we'll attempt to get her, she'll open fire at the door for as long as she can, perhaps knowing that even if she has limited ammunition, it'll be enough to hold out for reinforcements.
We can use a flashbang to disorient her, but with her being a crack shot, she could potentially shoot it before it enters, and it could affect us just as much as it would her, effectively wasting it, or worse she could just rush out and get as many of us as possible.
This is quite concerning, for I need to think of a strategy but time is against us. All I can do is to look in the room to see if there's any inspiration, anything that can give us an edge. I look at the bathroom door, and then the wall that surrounds it, in which the walls are painted a light green and has a couple of paintings and a light switch, which is presumably for the bathroom.
Wait a minute, I have got it. We can switch the light off in our room, wait for our natural night vision to kick in, before shooting the door off and switching off the light in the bathroom where she'll be temporary blind, and thus won't be able to see the flashbang that gets thrown in, and with her firing blindly, we can try and find a blind spot with regards the direction she's firing at, and then kill her, and then we can capture her.
I then quietly explain the plan to my allies here, in which we all agreed and was about to execute it only to be informed via radio, that the soldiers trying to hold off the enemy at the corridor we're at are in need of reinforcements. Because of the need to keep the corridor secure, so we can take the captured K-Sha away, I make a quick decision and decide to let all of them except for myself, Noire and Uni to go on ahead to assist.
Now for executing the plan itself, in which after the lights in the main room has been shut and the curtains in which they're blackout are shut, and when we can see in our surroundings, myself and Uni are to shoot the doors at the appropriate places, and after which I push the door down if need be, the Lastation CPU Candidate will throw a flashbang inside, while Noire will enter after studying the attack patterns of the yandere and kill her.
The 3 of us are in agreement and it isn't long before we shoot the door down, throw the flashbang in, and observe where she fires her weapon at, in which it's relentless, as if she's able to fire one weapon while reloading the other, allowing it to effectively be continuous, even if it'll be for a limited time due to limited ammunition. The thing is, though she tries to cover every possible entrance point, because of the stress she's in which increases by the moment, she ends up not being able to cover everywhere, and if anything covers less places.
With this knowledge, Noire then peeks her head in and attempts to find the yandere and kill her, and at the same time I'm told by our allies at our corridor by radio that they have managed to secure the area, and await the three of us.
I thank them and praise them for being able to stop the enemy as well as being able to eliminate large numbers, and thus help the rest of our allies in our fight to secure this grand estate.
After talking to them, I then notice that the gunshots have stopped, and while it won't take long at all to check, thoughts soon come flooding though my mind as to who killed who, and the consequences as a result of each outcome, and they are massive contrasts. They are either a step closer to victory, or undisputable defeat, which would be horrible after all we've been through, as well as horrible to have fallen to such a despicable vile individual, and I dread having to put up with her insanity, then again our hell could be having the lot of them do whatever they like with us. It's tragic that even if it is a dream, all 3 of us need to be alive to succeed here, I can only find out for sure, and then prepare for the eventuality, even if the worst possible outcome, will be hard to accept as reality.
