A/N: These are some of the few I'll be releasing on the coming days, in this case the way I made the team assignments, villain categories, professors, etc. Including romances and sexualities of the characters based on what was given to me by their respective creators. As well as some quotes or poems that I have made to serve as hints throughout the series and some creature creations I have for the Grimm, one example of that is seen from the lion Grimm I made back in chapter one way way back. Of course, the highlights I made on it won't be visible as it was on the doc file I have of it, so it wouldn't be obvious as to whose who is paired with. This chapter also includes one of the future chapters I had in mind in which Solidsnake had given me permission way back then that their OC was on a time limit and to be given a proper possible end. You can see that future chapter here as well, I had planned to expand each teams relationship and friendship with one another and those outside of it. Though, now I do wish I have the motivation again to write for this story maybe in the future when time and motivation better permits it.

FINAL BTC CHAPTER TO BE TITLED: Arc: Tree of Rebirth? Part?: Epilogue Ending One etc.

Basilisk are a subspecies of the Jormungand breed. They are known for making organisms 'freeze' as if they were turned to stone. In reality, basilisks have the ability to toy with the negative emotions residing in the minds of man and induce a certain shockwave which results in their 'frozen' state. Survivors had stated that they felt like they were trapped in a box of darkness, harsh words ringing all around them.

Quote

Do not believe in simple truths,

As they can be twisted like simple lies. (1)
For the darkness hides in every guise,

As even the brightest of light can be tainted. (2)

So one must watch out,

For even your friends may turn into your own demise. (3)

Excerpts from the Quietus

"Your radiating fire will either burn me or my darkened waters shall drown you."

This world could change and yet we cling upon these unfathomable riches that we can never attain. A pity how the human mind can be.

A knife to end a life

Drippings of blood to start a flood

Tears of sorrow will come upon morrow

Some choices will seal your fate.

Others a tempestuous bait.

So be careful of what you wish for.

For fate can be a fickle little thing.

And it might just offer a cruel encore.

Settle your crown above my head oh lord

Bury me in ashes in your light

So when your own dogmas becomes the weapons of your enemies, I'll be there to watch your world fall apart.
As you had did with the world.
Your history had always been tainted in the blood of your people.

The beginnings of a new dawn shall give the masses the feeling of liberation.
The taste of the freedom from the deprivation they were subjected to.
The rights you blundered, the souls you took, the innocence you shattered.

If the people wishes for freedom and anarchy, then so shall it be.

Fate is simply told in worded strings.
And for freedom, it had always been worth dying for.

Enyo -falcata 2x

Freedom is but a sophisticated dream brought up in lies.

When routines become a bore, when the everyday life is an endless cycle.

It creates the feeling of self-loathing.

Yet give the old, the new and you will see before your eyes the wonders of curiosity.

Or the utter feeling of detestment in their eyes.

When the raven flies the earth shall tell of lies

Of wicked vows and tainted smiles

The world as we know will fall in absolution

A revolution shall rise in the horizon

A kind at the brink of extinction

Green eyes witnessed the fall from the beginning and to the end of it all.

Screams of desperation fell on deaf ears, of words of no, to stop, and of names of fallen friends and partners. Blood splattered across the castle grounds as the flames raged on, burning everything in its wake. The castle itself was nothing but the ruins of its old glory, crumbling and cracking from the onslaught of the siege. Stone blocks fell from great towers and cratering the floors of its home, students and staffs ran to and fro from saving to protecting, making sure they could save everyone they could whilst making sure that every individual were to ran away or fight from the danger that moved towards their way.

Grey: "Where's Enyo?!"

In the middle of it all, the Beast and the Dragon stood alone by the mouth of the gates of the large bridge. Drenched in both blood of its enemies and of its own wounds. Guarding the bridge as a final stand. One holding only one of its blades on one hand and the other blade on its owner's mouth as their broken right arm hand loosely besides them, whilst the other being besides them held the broken, severed half of her longsword - battering its way against enemies, wave after wave.

The two fought together, letting no soul enter nor leave the grounds that may cause harm to the people as they escape through the tunnels of the castle, deep underground it laid dormant till great disaster had called upon its walls once more.

"Hey, kid… Why're you here? You should be evacuating with the others, not playing hero." Blood streaked down from Enyo's forehead and further down towards her mouth and chin. Clothes disheveled and torn towards different directions. Her once bright azure eyes had become dull from the weariness she was subjected to and the veins surrounding her eyes pulsed and throbbed with adrenaline. Her left hand was bruised and covered in crimson from her victims whilst her right fared no better, with it bleeding profusely, chunks of broken teeth that slowly took its time to dissipate was stuck within the flesh of it - likely bitten by a Grimm. The enameled fangs felt dreadful on her battered arm it was as if the frost of winter and the burning of the flames took turns to lick at the open wound.

Enyo wiped the blood that obscured her vision as she looked besides one of her students who, with a broken sword, bashed the head of a Creeper. It was the last of the fifth wave. Then again, Enyo wasn't sure. She had long since lost count after the Grimm kept replacing their fallen brethren continuously.

The silver haired beauty sighed before she looked towards her exhausted teacher, a grim look being casted on her face as she took in the woman's condition. Her professor was bloodied, and is still is. Disheveled and tired as well, the draconian faunus wondered how the woman was still standing especially with how much blood was dripping from her broken arm and from the various injuries that littered her body. The Dragon grimaced at the professor's injured state.

'She's not going to last long…'

Bright orange eyes locked with light azure ones, both were given a moment to rest but in themselves knew the next wave will come. The former's worries reflected in her eyes and the berserker simply smiled at her student.

"That bad?"

Ferryn Sage Brunswick fared no better than the Counselor. Her silver haired was dyed in blood and the inky remains of the Grimm, giving the woman an ashy look. The dust markings on her face and her eyes glowed brightly in the darkness of the grey skies, long gone was her coat and what was left of her clothing was her battered armour and worn down clothing, both covered in the same crimson and black ichor of their enemies.

"... I should be saying the same to you, Professor. You're incredibly injured."

'I don't have a family, Professor. I have no village to go back to. I have no one.'

'Are your friends not your family? Are your friends' home not your home as well?'

'That's… That's different. I'm not related to them or anything like that.'

Enyo fighting?

'Emilia, blood… does not dictate who your family would be. It is who you create a bond with. Friends and comrades alike are your family… Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. For the bonds you make are thicker than blood and water combined.'

Showcases both Enyo and Ferryn?

'I give you the piece of my soul as you have given yours to me. I love you for who you are, Emilia Viridian… Will you grant me the honor of being your lover?'

Emilia watching?

'You're such a dork, Ferryn.'

The Dragon continued to bleed, its golden ichor raining down below as it flew and fought with the Grimm Dragon, its own obsidian ichor flowing down unto the grounds below and giving life to the endless streams of Grimms. Sharp talons clawed at inky flesh, and plated tails whipped at hardened armour of the green dragon.

'Your dork that is.'

Kynthia hardens the water and shoots out a torrent and pierce's Ferryn (Dragon Form) at the back at the very heart? Tentative.

'Cherish those bonds, for not everyone is lucky as you to be given the opportunity to build these and make peace with your rivals. Trust and see if they shall do the same. For the greatest pain you'll ever encounter is of the heart, Emilia. It is a suffering greater than any other.'

Wrong.

'I'll always be by your side, Emilia. Trust me on that.'

She was wrong.

'Because… we are the Creed!'

They were both wrong.

The greatest pain was when your own soul dies along with the ones that held a part of you.

And to Emilia, she had lost two.

'Remember me always, Emilia. For in death, I simply pass on but my memories shall live onward… I will always be in your heart.'

Enyo stood still in the middle of the battlefield, eyes closed as she took her last breath. Letting her blade, fall and clatter on the ground. A resounding clang echoed through the desolation of the academy. She fell after, her head hitting the stoned floor, her vision blurred as she watched the clouds bind with one another in the grey sky, and brought forth rain. Her blood mingled with the water that dropped down unto her, washing away the sins of her doings with it her life as well. Blood covered pale skin glowed a bright azure, the same colour as her eyes. She continued to glow as her pale skin slowly turned into dust, mixing unto the watered down pools of her blood. She took one last look at the sky, in the distant she could still hear the roars of the battle in her mind, her memories rewinding itself and playing like a record.

'You remind me a lot of my siblings. Erra, my little brother. He was always a boisterous little kid. He had the knack of getting into trouble like you, maybe that's why he always preferred my twin sister, Eris. Now, Eris, oh man. She always enables Erra rather than stopping him but eh, I love them all the same. Oh well, anyways… Get back to doing your homework, Emilia!'

The Beast closed her eyes and took one final slumber in the confinements of her mind. Memories of old, started to replay of her twin sister and of her younger brother, of their joyful laughter, and of their smiles. The Beast smiled in her sleep before disappearing completely into the sky. Azure light dimming and leaving nothing but the pools of blood and its armaments? And fallen blades In the end, the Beast had died alone but her deeds laid eternal.

'Eris! Erra! Guess who's home?! Me! The great and wonderful, Enyo! And, I, have presents.'

Ferryn laid her head and her whole body on the stone block of the tower, her feet dangling over the edge of the crater made by the Wyvern. She watched, high-up in the tower as the airships flew away into the distant as rain started to pour down unto her face, wiping away the dried blood off of her face. The cold bite of the rain helped numbed the pain on her back, her right wing laid completely torn behind her whilst her left was battered and broken. She was rendered flightless but she persevered yet she continued to bleed from her wounds nonetheless.

'Be selfish, even for once. You're young, live it to the fullest. You were given an opportunity to live your life, don't waste it. Not everyone are as lucky as you to see the light of tomorrow. Be happy.'

"Emilia… Father…" She took a shaky breath, her tears mixed with the rain and the bitter tang of her blood. The mixture dripping down her face and into her soaked, worn down armour. Her skin started to glow a vibrant mix of both her aura's hue and of her eyes. She looked towards her trembling hand, watching as her hand started to turn into ash, crumbling, and piece by piece faded away into the cold air. In between her fingers, she saw a bright flash of blue and her eyes panned downward, watching as the bright azure light consumed her professor before completely fading away and leaving nothing in its wake. "Profes.. Sor…" She choked on her words, grief ensnaring her in its hold.

Ferryn wanted to scream. She wanted to cry her heart out. She wanted to yell at the world. She wanted to be angry. Yet she silently cried in her last moments, for she knew. Nothing could have been done but at least she saved more lives even if no one was there to save them. She continued to cry with the rain, her mind rewinding the last of her joyous moments.

'Papa… What's it like to be a huntsman?'

The Dragon closed her eyes, one final time she let one last tear slide down her pale cheek as she took her final breath and hummed a song of her childhood. The light glowed brighter and grew bigger, never once dimming. The vibrant colours of green and amber mixed and suddenly a burst of bright light consumed the castle tower, and in its wake was the glowing ashes of both the Dragon and the Beast drifting towards the skies, some burst into flames before ceasing, and while others landed on the broken sword of its owner on the tower floor or the battlegrounds, scattered in blood.

In the distance, the windows of the airships were blinded by a vibrant light of azure then of green and amber coming from one of the towers of castle. People watched in awe and curiosity as the light parted the clouds and gave way to the light of the sun. Clear streams of light pierced through the darkness, slowly the rain stopped, and silence reigned upon ancient grounds.

Broken souls found themselves lost in the beauty of the ruin.

'Well, the great thing about being a huntsman is… You save people.'

Ch1

"You know… Take a picture and it might last longer.." A dark sultry voice called out and Emilia immediately stood right up only for her eyes to land on the woman she was guarding. Her body froze, her instinct screaming at her to run yet she felt as if a snake had ensnared her with its body and planted its venom into her, paralyzingly so with the image presented before her eyes.

Enyo sat upright, her left leg propped up whilst her arms rested on the knee, where she let her head hit the expanse of it. The woman hummed and let the blanket fall over her legs, with it the only thing that hid her modesty and Emilia had to look the other way immediately, a heavy blush coating her pale cheeks. Yet she still felt the heavy feeling of cloudy blue eyes staring into her, and the brunette felt a deep shiver ran down her. The moment she turned her head back to look back towards the woman, a sudden onslaught of fear took hold of her.

The huntress' eyes peered deeply into her own forest green eyes as if she can see right through her and Emilia stood still, wide eyed and paralyzed. Was it some sort of power that the huntress possessed or was it just the sudden, mysterious feeling of fear that came from the woman in front of her?

'Why?' Was the question that rang into the brunette's head. Why was she scared, why was she frozen in place, why did her instincts screamed at her to take flight?

'Why?'

Enyo smirked, amusement and the hint of killing intent dancing in her eyes. She laughed, a deep and husky sound. "Don't be afraid, little girl. I'm not going to hurt you rather I just wanted to see how you would react to me doing something like this... I must say though, the look of fear on your face was quite refreshing from your often cool disposition." She propped her elbow on her knee, her chin resting at the palm of her hand. Watching Emilia ever so closely, her eyes easing and thus so did the tension that enveloped Emilia though the Guardian still stood, guarded and wary now of the woman before her.

"Come closer… I wish to ask you of something that had been bothering me for quite a while now." Enyo started, her smirk snaking its way back unto her lips and Emilia stared at the woman with caution. Her fingers twitching with unreleased energy, waiting to be released if the woman ever make so much a move that could threaten the village people and the Elders. She took a step forward, then another before coming to a stop by the end of the bed.

The two stared at each other, watching each other's movements. The younger of the two, cautiously and guarded, and the older one did so in a relaxed manner, amusement dancing in her eyes. One still so tense, and the other ever so calm with the situation they had created.

Enyo chuckled before she let her back hit against the headboard of the bed. Her hand taking hold of her blanket and finally hiding her modesty, much to Emilia's chagrin. "Take me to the forest, a clearing with no one could hear nor bother us. I wish to see your prowess in fighting. I've been curious of seeing you fight, especially when your Elders were quite fond of… boasting their power. Which I can only guess also included you, considering they've mentioned of a special guard that they… trained to guard them." The huntress' eyes narrowed at Emilia, suspicion now dancing in light blue eyes. Her words resonating with a commanding tone and Emilia stood right-up once more from that tone, concern dancing in her emerald eyes yet she nodded.

Emilia was simply a Guardian after all. The visitor may perhaps be a stranger to their lands, the huntress in the end still had greater authority over a soldier like her. She was a Guardian. She was still someone to order around at their behest and the Elder Council had given the woman that authority. After all, it would be a wasted opportunity for the Elder Council if they couldn't get the huntress favor. It would prove useful in the long ran in the end if they did.

"There's a clearing by the north of here." Emilia finally said, her voice just above a whisper as she had finally collected herself and recovered her indifferent facade.

Enyo merely smiled mysteriously before laying back down on the comfort of her bed, and covering herself with the blanket. "Goodnight for now, little one. You'll need it."

Ch1 pg 6

A gigantic beast of ancient legends, who guarded the fruit of life and was said to have been slain by a mere man. Some legends spoke of the dragon possessing not two but hundreds of dragonic heads with dark eerie voices, heard everywhere and nowhere at the same time. And it was within this legend that the name of Ladon itself had been born and was wherein the continent itself was named after.

Though in most stories of old, it is said in legends that dragons of great power had once scorched the earth of its life with its deadly flames, hot enough to melt through the toughest metals, and of scales harder than any armour, and of fangs as sharp as daggers. It was a vile creature, but some spoke of great dragons that brought wisdom and luck to humans and faunus who is clouded by the temptations of life. Dragons of destruction, and dragons of guidance.

Whether these reptilian beasts of old were Grimm or of ancient myths told in stone and of by mouth, no one knew for sure.

It is a symbol that represents all three of its main faculties — the sword that rests at the middle with the blade facing down and on the centre of its cross-guard rests the image of the Triskelion, in which the sword itself representing its actions. Then came the next of its symbols, the wings of a bird, unfurled wings of freedom — sprouting just behind the cross-guard of the sword, representing the beliefs of the academy, and the last of it all was the solidago, a golden flower that encircled the whole crest, representing its guidance. With the last of the symbol, thus completes the crest the academy of Creed.

"No! No!"

"Ferryn… It's alright. I'm here now.. I won't leave you."

Btc griz x delphi

Poison cavetown

Delphi wandered around the dancing masses, the cold cup of juice in her hand, perspiring in her warm hold as she glanced around the merry goers. A subtle but gentle smile etched on her lips as she gazed from afar the golden mane of her spear wielding teammate, slowly dancing with the raven haired man of BALR and the other woman of their team rested against the pillars at the corner quietly talking to the quiet girl of FREA but (Colour) eyes narrowed as her brows furrowed and a frown marked its way along her gentle lips at the certain absence of one grey haired faunus.

"Looking for someone?"

The (Colour) head perked up at the sound of the deep timbre of the voice behind her, she turned her head to peer up against the inquisitive yet amused (colour) eyes of her professor.

"Professor Damon." She spoke and nodded in greeting at the large man. Damon merely chuckled in reply as he raised his own cup in greeting.

"Are you not enjoying yourself, Miss last name?" He asked, his left brow raised in question as he quietly sipped from his own cup of refreshment.

Delphi peered at the man from the sides, who merely opted to wore a simple burgundy suit and brown leather shoes before looking ahead once more and meticulously choosing her own words in reply. "I am but it seems that a certain… vagabond has disappeared into the night." She said though Damon could detect the underlying exasperation and subtle worry laced in her monotonous reply and at that he simply smirked down at the worried girl.

"Ah, yes… Miss Aeronwy is it? I think I heard her muttering about leaving early to your advisor." He replied in return as he watched in amusement at the way the seer tensed st his words before relaxing at the information.

"She did? She didn't bother to at least tell us that…" The leader grumbled.

'She hid her emotions well for someone who was restless at her missing teammate.' Damon admitted to himself. 'Reminds of another uptight, lass.' The old man thought his eyes drifting briefly to a certain young princess of the kingdom.

"Hmm… If I were a grey haired ruffian where would I hide perhaps?" He added as colour eyes peered down at the way his own students colour eyes flashed with emotions he could not distinguish quickly but the way her lips had quirked into a smile before disappearing gave him his answer.

"The night is young, Miss Iolanthe… And so are you. Cherish these moments while you can as you may never know when your chances may arise again."

Delphi smiled lightly at that as she scoffed but perhaps the elder had a point and thus she closed her eyes closed gently as she watched her visions flashed quickly at the back of her eyelids. Colour eyes staring at the back of their grey haired ruffian of a teammate sitting at the edge of the rooftop, gazing longingly at the clear skies and of the glittering stars. Only Mere moments had passed as she signed at the dull ache as her vision left her, she looked besides her at the calm man sipping his drink before downing her own cup and signaling her departure with a nod and a thanks.

"Thank you for your time Professor and for your… help as well."

Damon merely hummed in response as his student quickly left his side and made haste towards the large oaken doors of the hall.

"Follow your heart, Miss Iolanthe. For we are hunters and we lose more than we are to gain."

Transition

Grizel watched the stars, the message in her scroll still bright and glaring at her soul.

"Focus on the plan. We're near."

She closed it just as she heard the gentle click of the door opening.

Delphi walks in, gentle light casted on grizel, stops in awe

Griz slowly turns and smiles at delphi in greeting before looking back at the stars

"Grizel."

"Hey there, captain."

"Care to tell me why you're up here alone?"
"Well, care to tell me how you knew I was here?"

"..."

"Heh, I just wanted a breather was all."

"...Did you not like the party?"

"It was fine… My family called was all and I… Well, you know how it is with family."
"This is the first time, I've heard you talk about them so indepthly. You always just tend to mention them in passing."
"Oh? I haven't? Well, to be honest… I'm not really in good graces with them. So to speak."

"Want to talk about it?"

"..."

"We have the night for ourselves, Griz. I'm here for a shoulder to cry on."

"Pfft as if I'd cry!"

"...I never met my real family. I was… with my adoptive parents as long as I could remember. They took me in when no one wanted to take me. They raised me alongside their other children."

"You have siblings?"

"Of a sorts. I have… an asshole of an elder brother, a doting elder sister, a sweet little sister, and another sister whose also a little shit."

Villain Entry - Arcelia

My mother named me after the sky and at the altar where she gave birth to me, Arcelia was the name she gave. It meant "Altar of the sky" and that's when my father took me away from mother, the reason was never told. I was still an infant back then, and he, my father was a born killer and the day I could run, the day I could wield a blade was the day he thought me how to kill. My first kill was my mother, the first and last time I will see her.

Even to this day, I ask myself. Was it worth it? Maybe not. Did I even regret it? No. Did she expected this to happen? Yes. She expected it, and my father only shed a tear. She sacrificed herself for him and for me all because of our bloodline. She could never be trusted, she wasn't one of us. She was a faunus but my fathers human traits were more stronger, more dominant than my mother. I inherited one thing from her, the last thing I saw before I killed her, her
