The expedition was packing up their tents and preparing to leave the 59th floor. They had failed in their goal and were now heading back. With heavy hearts as well.

So many had been lost, especially with the Loki familia's second strings. Narvi had lost her arm, and Rual took an arrow to the eye. Bell was lost somewhere down in the dungeon, and they didn't know if he was dead or not.

Aki and Alicia watched as Raul was carried on a stretcher. Cruz sat with Narvi, who had woken up. She was a little freaked out, knowing her right arm was gone, but his presence calmed her down.

"So he's stuck down there? In some frozen hell where our captain is dead." Narvi asked.

Cruz held her hand as he spoke. "Yeah, and we still don't know how bad Raul is. He hasn't woken up yet, and the healers say they can't do much else down here."

Narvi sighed and gave Cruz's hand a comforting squeeze. "You want to stay and look for him? Don't you."

"Yeah, I do. He'd do the same for me. For any of us." Cruz answered.

"I'm alright with that. I'll be waiting for you on the surface. Just promise you'll come back." Narvi calmly asked.

Cruz felt his heart beating a little faster. What was this feeling he felt, and why did it happen with Narvi?

"Y-yeah, I promise. I'll drag his dumbass all the way back to the surface if I have to." Cruz nervously chuckled.

Narvi smiled. "Good, and when you come back, I have something to tell you."

Cruz's heart beat a little faster. "Oh well, I'll make sure to be quick, so you're not kept waiting."

Narvi kept smiling while Cruz held her hand. When he came back, she was going to tell him how she felt. She almost died before telling him and didn't want to wait any longer. But she knew Cruz would stay to look for Bell and didn't want him to be distracted.

So she waited.

Cruz walked into the tent he had shared with everyone else. He let out a sad sigh as he began packing up everyone's stuff.

Aki was still a mess over Raul, and Alicia was doing her best to comfort her friend. He knew Bell couldn't pack his stuff up because he was currently missing.

Raul couldn't pack his up either because of the arrow to the eye. Cruz sadly chuckled as he was proud of Raul. He was normally very nervous and considered cowardly by Bete.

But he had pushed Aki out of the way before an arrow pierced her neck. Cruz was proud that Raul was beginning to find his spine. He just hoped he survived to keep it.

After finishing packing Raul's stuff, he moved on to Bell's. He saw a pouch containing all the drop items Bell had gotten. One of them was a bone sword from a Spartoi.

Inside the pouch was a small note that made Cruz chuckle.

This stuff belongs to Welf, so don't steal. Else Met will bite you in the ass.

Cruz made sure to keep that in mind as he rolled Bell's sleeping bag up and put it with his pouch. Once he finished back up everyone else stuff and finding some clothes that made him slightly embarrassed, he stepped out of the tent and bumped into Alicia.

"Oh, Cruz. What are you doing?"

"I uh packed everyone's stuff up. Wanted to be useful somewhere."

"You didn't happen to-

"I don't wanna talk about it," Cruz muttered.

Alicia nodded in agreement. "So, how do you feel about us going back?"

Cruz was silent for a minute, and it clicked in Alicia's head. "You're not going back? Are you?"

Cruz shook his head. "No, I'm not. I'm staying here to look for him. He'd do the same for any of us."

"I can stay with you." Alicia offered. She wanted to stay as well. But she also wanted to comfort Aki in her time of need.

"No, you go. Aki will need you, and I'd like to ask you to watch over Narvi as well."

Alicia looked over to Narvi's tent. Then back to Cruz. "Of course, you don't need to ask. Just bring him back to me."

"I will. Wait, don't you mean us?"

Alicia blushed before turning away. "Yeah, that's what I mean. Us"

Cruz gave her a smug smirk. "Something you wanna say? Perhaps your long-awaited love confession to Bell?"

"No! I mean, it's not that I don't. It's just with everything that went on, I don't think it's the right time, and I'm rambling, aren't I?"

"Yes. You are. But don't worry, your secret's safe with me."

Alicia blushed in embarrassment again and looked away. Her ears were red as well. "Just bring him back, and don't die as well. You're my friend after all."

Cruz chuckled before walking away. "Don't worry, I'll drag his ass back. Kicking and screaming if I have to. Then you can have your fun."

Alicia hid her face in her hands as Cruz departed.

Back in the cave, Bell and Revis soundly slept as the storm continued to rage on outside. They held onto each other, their faces inches from touching.

Revis was holding onto Bell to make sure he didn't try and escape while she slept. Bell held onto her as well but did it unconsciously while he was asleep.

Revis peacefully slept. Her beautiful face letting out soft snores as her hair draped over her face. Bell, on the other hand, was not having a peaceful sleep.

He was back where he always was. The land of ice and darkness. How many times had he been here now? He had lost count well after hitting a hundred.

However, this dream was different. Bell was standing on a cliff next to the Night King. He sat atop his skeletal horse overlooking a valley. Bell heard waves crashing against the cliff to his left.

Was he near some kind of port?

That's when he heard it. The sound of hammers hitting nails. Clack, clack, clack. He peered over the edge but couldn't see anything. Only hearing the clack as whatever they were building continued to be built.

The Night King slightly turned his head and looked at Bell. Bell stared back and watched as the Night King dismounted his horse.

The two stared each other down as the Night King drew closer. He stopped only a few feet in front of Bell. He closely examined him with his eyes as cold as ice.

Before a slight smirk spread on his face. Bell grabbed his head in pain as it felt like his brain was freezing over. He heard many voices talking as one.

He didn't know which one was the Night King's actual voice. If he even had one, to begin with.

"You're trapped, boy. I can feel it. Deep below the surface, you are trapped the same way you're trapped here once your eyes close. No matter where you go or what you do. You are always trapped."

Bell groaned in pain as the freezing in his head intensified. He fell to his knees as the mind-numbing pain became unbearable.

The Night King stood above him, cruelly smirking. Bell didn't know how the Night King knew he was trapped. Nor how he was speaking to him. He was in too much pain to even care at that point.

"I can also sense this. Your friends are in danger. But not the ones you think. They're fighting for their lives right now, hoping to survive. But who knows if they will. All while you're trapped, unable to help them."

Bell began to scream as the pain became more and more unbearable. All the while, he was taunted by the Night King.

"Hmm, how interesting. Seems your companion is not what she seems. How will you react when she's revealed? I wonder, false hero."

Bell then shot awake with Revis holding onto him. She looked at him, her green eyes full of worry. He took quick, short breaths as he tried to calm himself down. His head was no longer in pain, and he didn't hear the disembodied voices any longer.

Revis still held him as Bell controlled his breathing.

"Bad dream?" She asked.

Bell desperately wanted to run out of this cave and find his way back to his friends. He wanted to needed to save them.

But he couldn't.

The storm trapped him here with Revis, and even if he did get out, he had no idea where to go. He wasn't on the 59th floor anymore. He could try climbing up the cliff, but another storm could appear at any moment and blow him off.

His friends were in trouble, and there was nothing he could do. So he acted. It was all he had right now.

"Yeah. Something like that." Bell responded.

Revis kept holding Bell, and he felt comforted. Despite the two being enemies, Revis was acting like a friend.

Just who was she? Who was this lord of light she spoke of?

"You wanna talk about it?" Revis asked, running her hand through his hair.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you. Don't worry. It's nothing I can't handle."

"I won't believe you? Bell, did you forget you're talking to a woman who was resurrected? I was brought back to life by a god of flames. I can listen to a little of the unbelievable."

"You keep mentioning this lord of light. Who is he? Are you a follower of his?"

Revis sighed and pulled Bell closer. His head rested in her bosom as she began explaining. "The lord of light. Or, as his true name states, Rhollor. Is a god who fights against the Great Other. The god of ice and death. The Lord of Light is a god most commonly linked to fire. He is locked in an eternal struggle with the Great Other over the fate of the world. He is also known for bringing people back from the dead, as they still have a purpose to him. But many of the red priests believe that the struggle between Rhollor and the Great Other will end when Azhor Ahai will return and beat back the Great Other with Lightbringer."

"So you worship a flame?" Bell asked.

Revis giggled. "In a way, yes. But fire is seen as life as well. I didn't really care much for him when I died. He was one of the gods that didn't descend, so he wasn't really talked about much. At least not here. He's more known in Essos. But after he and Fels brought me back to life. I guess I started believing in him more."

Bell remained where he was as Revis held him. The fire had long since gone out, and the two had to share their warmth to save firewood. But Bell was also seeking out her comfort to help calm his racing mind.

He was worried about his friends. Worried that Raul wouldn't make it. Worried that Welf and the others on floor 18 were in trouble. But he couldn't do anything. He was stuck and left to wonder if all his friends were dead.

It was torture.

"Now I showed you mine. Will you show me yours?" Revis teased.

Bell weakly chuckled. "Well, I guess since you told me about you. I guess it's fair I reveal my secret as well."

Bell took a deep breath and readied himself. He hoped Revis would believe him about what he was going to say. The Great Other sounded a lot like the Night King, and Bell knew of the circumstances for Azhor Ahai to arise. Being born under a bleeding star. Which was a comet. In fire and salt. Bell met those requirements when he was born, and he also had dreams of the White Walkers. So it had to be him

Right?

"For as long as I can remember, I've had the same nightmare. I'm standing in a land of forever cold and darkness. I see a man with skin as blue as ice and as cold as it to. He's sitting atop a skeletal horse, and behind him is an army of the dead. They never move. They just sit there and remain still. Until today, that was. I don't know what they were doing, but something was being built."

Revis held him tighter as a gust of wind blew in. "So you see an army of the dead?"

"Almost every night since I can remember. Every time I'd have a nightmare, I'd run into my aunt's room. She'd always keep me safe. But after I got older, it didn't affect me as much. But my body still gets scared seeing it. Like it's some unconscious response while I'm staring at the unknown. You know your Great Other sounds a lot like the White Walkers."

"They might be. The Great Other represents cold and death. All manner of horrible things."

"So, do you think I'm crazy?" Bell asked.

"No, I believe you. I was brought back to life, so who says an army of the dead can't exist either? I believe you. But I can't begin to imagine the strife this has put you through. Knowing you don't have many people to go to."

"Revis, why are you being kind to me? It feels weird not fighting you. You've also been flirty. What are you playing at here?"

Revis was quiet for a minute as she still held Bell. She needed to be careful with her answer lest she reveal everything. But that didn't mean she couldn't leave a little trail of breadcrumbs.

"I have my own goals compared to Evilus. Goals I seek to accomplish to bring about peace."

Bell was quiet as he didn't get an answer. But maybe it was a clue. Bell looked at his facts and started piling them together. Revis had her own secret hideout on the 62nd floor. No one else knew about it, and it was private. It had enough supplies to last nearly a week if needed. She had a strange orb that Bell had never seen before and didn't want to talk about it.

All very suspicious for a woman part of an evil organization that was a secret up until now.

Did Revis not like Evilus?

"That still doesn't explain why you're being kind to me," Bell replied.

"Come on, Bell. Do you really believe me to be some sort of evil lady with no kindness in her heart?"

Bell looked up at her as she still forced his head into her bosom. "If I answer yes, will you be mad?"

"Depends if you want to be smothered by my chest." Revis joked.

Bell was quiet for a minute as he thought about this. He was a child of Zeus, after all.

"I was kidding," Revis stated.

"You have an odd sense of humor."

"Being stuck with psychopaths and sadists does that to you. It's horrifying watching what they do to people."

Bell was once again confused. Was Revis not fully a part of Evilus like he thought? But if that were the case, why join them, and if she didn't like what they did, why not leave?

Bell was slowly starting to put the pieces together. He'd just need one more push before he'd figure it out.

But Bell could tell Revis was feeling a little uncomfortable right now. If it was from her heartbeat or her tone of voice, he didn't know.

But she had shown him kindness even if Bell didn't understand why. So, snaking his arms around her back, he held her as well.

"Must suck living with people like that. Must be lonely." Bell muttered.

Revis smiled down at the boy, who kept his face hidden from her by burying it in her chest. She stroked his head once again.

"A little bit. But I'm a big girl; I can take care of myself."

"I get what it's like to feel alone. Only a few people know about my dreams. Yet I feel like they don't fully understand how it makes me feel. I've felt alone for a while now. Like no one understands me."

"Must be terrible for you. Especially since you've been having them your whole life. I'm sorry you've had to go through that."

Bell chuckled. "Gods, we must look so pathetic. A dead woman and a crazy kid feeling sorry for each other."

"Weirder things have happened," Revis replied.

The two remained quiet as Revis slowly laid back down with Bell in her arms. Bell didn't resist and let it happen as he was starting to feel more comfortable with Revis.

He had told her about his fears and worries. Likewise, she did the same. Albeit in a different manner, Bell was still able to pick up on the subtle hints in her tone.

He didn't know what this would mean going forward. He was still captured by Evilus and would be taken to them once this storm passed. But maybe it wouldn't be so bad if Revis kept close to him?

Right?

Back on the 58th, the rest of the expedition had already left. Leaving the Freya familia executives along with Bache, Cruz, and, surprisingly, Lefiya.

"You know you didn't have to stay right. You don't really like the guy anyway." Cruz said.

Lefiya held her wand as she looked to the entrance of floor 59. "I know. But during the fight, I felt useless. Now Bell's missing, and I want to be useful in something."

Cruz chuckled. "Well, I think it's pretty brave that you're remaining down here. But I am surprised you're not going after Ais."

Lefiya blushed in embarrassment. "Well, um ms, Ais doesn't need me right now. She needs to focus on getting better. Once the Dea Saint heals her, she'll be good as new."

"Then you can swoop in and nurse her back to health." Cruz joked.

Cruz laughed as Lefiya hid her face away in embarrassment. Bache remained quiet as everyone else was preparing to head down.

"Alright, listen up! The mission to rescue Bell Cranel has begun! Those of you staying here have decided not to return to the surface and remain here! First, let me thank you for your bravery! Now, we shall head down to the 59th and begin this mission!" Ottar ordered.

Everyone got dressed in their wool coats and began their descent down. Not much was said, as it was the Loki familia working alone with the Freya familia.

These two familias were known for being very competitive with each other. However, one boy seemed to make them put their differences aside. If only for a little bit.

Once reaching the 59th floor, the expedition began making their way through the storm. Time was of the essence. The more time Bell was missing, the more likely he was dead. So they need to be quick and find him.

They knew he wasn't on their current floor as he fell off the cliff. So they made their way to the 60th floor. Progress was slow and arduous. The heavy storm caused their vision to be limited, and Ice Worms harassed their every movement.

However, with, Ottar around, they were easily dealt with as Cruz and Lefiya worked as supporters. Bache made sure to stick by them closely so nothing could sneak up on them.

Not many words were said between the two groups. The storm would've drowned their voices out, and they didn't have much to say anything. They were just focusing on saving Bell.

After three hours, they made it to floor 60. Much like floor 59, a snowstorm was also raging down here. It also had a cliff on the left as well, but the group paid it no mind. They kept moving forward.

However, a new monster was now appearing. It was a humanoid-like monster standing at around five feet tall. They had no skin and were just purely bone. However, their bones were black like soot, and their hands had sharp claws.

They held a variety of weapons ranging from short swords to great axes. How they found the strength to hold that nobody knew.

"Draugers," Ottar muttered.

"Careful, everyone! Despite them looking frail, they're fast and strong and are known for suicide attacks. Keep your guard up!" Hedin ordered.

Dozens of Draguers charged toward the small group. But we're quickly dispatched by Ottar swinging his mighty sword. Many Darugers fell, but more soon took their place.

Again, the group's progress was slowed to a snail's pace as, just like the Spartoi, the Draugers worked as a team instead of a single entity.

They surrounded the group and kept their backs to the cliff. But thanks to the Gulliver brothers and their expert cohesion, along with Allen's speed, they were able to keep most of the Draguers from getting too close to the group.

Bache was killing them in the back line but was having trouble with the sheer number of them. Her kukri cut through the bones easily, but her poison didn't work on something already dead.

She sliced the head of one before stabbing another in the chest, destroying its monster stone. She dodged a slash from one's claws before roundhouse kicking it off the cliff.

Ottar swung his mighty sword, using a strong gust of wind to slice through dozens of Draguers. Hogni and Hedin worked together like they usually did.

Lefiya chanted Arcs Ray, hoping to be of some help. But when cast, it did nothing to the Drauger. She was only a high-level three, after all. Again, she felt useless but knew she couldn't go back. So she pressed on.

However, tragedy struck as nobody expected a Drauger to pop out from under Cruz's feet. It knocked him off balance and sent him over the cliff.

"CRUZ!" Lefiya yelled.

Bache quickly turned around, and before she could react, the Drauger tackled Lefiya off the same cliff as well. Bache watched in horror as she tried to reach Lefiya. Her hand brushed against the elf's, but in the end, she couldn't grab her, and Lefiya went over the edge.

Bache was frozen in horror and didn't notice the Drauger behind her. Before anything could happen, though, Ottar swiftly took care of them.

"Don't worry. We'll find them as we continue to head down. Now, we must keep going," Ottar calmly stated.

Bache nodded before pushing herself to her feet and fighting with renewed vigor.

However, down on the 62nd floor, Lefiya and Cruz weren't so lucky.

"Well, well. It looks like we have some Loki familia garbage here. I wonder what you're doing down here. Hmm?"

In the cave, Revis woke up once again. The storm seemed to be settling down outside, but Bell was still asleep. Seeing his peaceful face made Revis feel bad about what she had to do. If it were her choice, she'd take Bell back to his familia. But if Evilus found out she had Bell and let him go, it'd be her head.

Bell woke up a few seconds later, and when he opened his eyes, he saw Revis's face inches from his.

"I didn't realize how close we were," Bell muttered.

"Well, it's not like this sleeping bag is a bed. Even if it can fit two people, we still gotta get nice and close to each other."

"Yeah, that makes sense. Just didn't realize it was this close."

"Do you have a problem with being this close to me?"

Bell shook his head. "No, it's not that. It's just the first time I've slept with a woman that wasn't my aunt."

"Oh, so I was your first?" Revis teased.

"Don't say it like that."

"Well, judging by what's poking me, you might want me to be your first."

"Nothing's poking you."

Revis quirked an eyebrow. "Oh, so you pulled a knife on me in the middle of the night?"

Bell quickly got out of the sleeping bag and put his hands over his crotch. Revis giggled as she got out as well.

"It's fine. I don't mind. You are a boy, after all. Well, a growing one."

Bell didn't answer, as he was a little embarrassed. Since he was still a virgin, the idea of sex made him a little nervous. Sure, he didn't have a problem with nudity. But sex was a step he was anxious to take.

"Although I wouldn't compare it to a dagger. It's more like a sword." Revis teased.

"Shut up," Bell muttered.

Regis giggled again before looking outside the cave. "Well, it looks like the storm is dying down. We'll get moving soon."

"Yay, time for a life behind bars." Bell sarcastically stated.

Revis frowned before crouching in front of him. "Don't worry so much. Since I'm a high rank in Evilus, I'll make your life easier there."

Bell sighed. "Well, that brings me some comfort. Can you do me a favor, though?"

"What is it?"

"Can you make sure no one uses my swords or my dagger? It's the last thing of my family that I have. I'd also like to keep my necklace as well."

"I can do that. I'll make sure no one touches them, and you can keep your necklace as well."

Bell looked outside and saw the storm had fully died down at this point. He sighed and looked at the ground.

"Thanks. Now let's get this over with."

Bell stood up, and Revis held rope in her hand. "Sorry about this. But we need to make it look believable."

Bell stuck his hands out, and Revis proceeded to tie his wrists together. "Don't go getting any ideas now. My hands might be tied, but I can still fight."

Revis giggled as she tied the last knot. "Don't worry about that. I ask for consent first. The rope comes in later."

Bell rolled his eyes and began walking in front of Revis. She followed him, and the two began their way to wherever she was taking Bell.

.

.

.

.

After a few hours of walking, Bell and Revis noticed how quiet floor 62 was. More so Bell than Revis, as she seemed to be used to this type of thing.

"Why are no monsters spawning?" Bell asked, looking around.

"It's because I'm with you. The dungeon isn't picking up on your presence as it believes me to be a monster thanks to my artificial monster stone."

"So you're essentially providing me with a camouflage?"

"Correct. Right now, you're invisible to the dungeon."

The two went back to silence and kept walking. After another 30 minutes, Revis sensed her people up ahead.

"Get ready. I have to act cold again. Don't take it personally."

Bell nodded, and Revis pushed him forward. Bell's eyes widened in surprise when Bell saw a ruined stone structure that resembled a castle. Its walls have long since fallen to ruin, and none of the buildings besides the keep were really habitable.

Outside, around a campfire, were those weird soldiers Bell had fought. Revis pushed him again and led him to the keep. When he entered, he saw a red-haired man and Ein standing in front of two people.

Bell's eyes widened in shock when he saw Lefiya and Cruz on their knees with their hands tied together. Revis pushed him forward once again and forced him to his knees.

"Revis, so nice of you to finally join us. It's a good thing you found Bell. His little friends here were worried he was dead." The red-haired man mocked.

Cruz looked over to Bell, who gave him a stoic look. He then looked over to Lefiya, who looked terrified.

"Which one of you stabbed him? He nearly bled out in the snow." Revis asked.

"It was one of the Dis sisters. They've been punished for their actions." Ein replied.

"Are they dead, Vito?" Revis asked.

"No, they're merely doing tasks that are. Undesirable for people like them. Now, then, let's get moving. We need to bring these three before Enyo and the others." Vito said.

"Great, so I sat down for nothing," Bell said.

Vito gave him a smile while his eyes remained closed.

"You look like a cunt." Bell said.

"Ah, such vulgar humor. No wonder Revis finds you deplorable."

"Nah, deep down, she loves me. Isn't that right?"

Revis scoffed and looked away.

"Right, Ein, Revis, get them up. We must begin our journey back." Vito ordered.

Following his orders, the two forced their three prisoners up to their feet, and they began marching. As they were marching, however, Cruz started to formulate a plan in his head.

"Come now, spirit soldiers. We're heading back." Vito stated.

The spirit soldiers nodded and put out their campfire. Vito led the group while the spirit soldiers walked in front of Bell. Revis and Ein were tasked with escorting the prisoners.

"Vito. Where's Clegane." Revis asked.

"Erebus needed his assistance with something. So he was dispatched back to HQ."

Revis nodded, and the group kept walking. Bell was trying to keep Lefiya calm as she was leading the group.

"Don't worry. I won't let them do anything to you." Bell comforted.

"But what if they violate me? Oh, gods, I hate this. I want to go home."

"Lefiya, deep breath. Remain calm. They'd have to go through me and Cruz before they do anything remotely close to that on you."

Lefiya tried to take a deep breath while Bell talked her through it. Ein looked on at the situation but didn't say anything.

Cruz, meanwhile, had just thought of a plan. It wasn't a good one, but it was the best chance Bell and Lefiya would have. Steeling his nerves, Cruz pretended to trip and bumped into Bell.

"Follow my lead." He whispered.

Bell was confused before Cruz smacked him upside the head. Bell tumbled forward in the snow. Cruz went to cut stomp him, but Bell rolled out of the way.

"Fucking Zeus rat! We're stuck in this because of you!" Cruz shouted.

He grabbed a sword from one of the spirit soldiers and swung at Bell. Bell dodged the slash and kicked Cruz in the leg.

Crus didn't relent and kept swinging at Bell. The spirit soldiers started to cheer at the fight. They would step in and deal with Cruz before he killed Bell.

Bell didn't know what Cruz was doing. One second, the two were fine, and the next, Cruz was trying to take his head off. But what felt weird to Bell was Cruz's swordsmanship's.

It seemed like he wasn't really trying to hurt Bell. Like his slashes were predictable enough to dodge in time.

Lefiya watched the fight, horrified. She didn't know what was happening between the two as she wasn't inside the fighting circle.

Ein came up behind her and cut the rope, tying her hands. "Run"

Lefiya was even more confused but didn't think twice before she took off running. Ein covered the discarded rope with snow, burying the evidence.

"Bell catch," Revis called, tossing Bell Longclaw.

Bell caught it and parried Cruz's slash, sending it to the snow.

"Cruz, what the hell are you doing!" Bell asked.

"What I should've done when we met! You're not one of us you never were! You're just some stupid Zeus brat who is sad because he lost mommy and daddy."

Bell blocked Cruz's sword before kicking him in the stomach. He was even more confused. Where did this anger come from? Was this how Cruz truly felt?

"You not a true Loki familia member! Everyone there hates you! They all talk about how you think you're all that behind your back! Even Alicia despises being in your presence."

Bell spun on his heel and avoided Cruz's blade. His words started to hurt Bell immensely. But even in such an emotional state and with his hands tied.

Bell was still the better swordsman. Cruz was more used to a spear. Cruz swung once more, but this time, Bell was able to disarm Cruz.

Time seemed to stop as Cruz gave him a slight nod. Bell knew what he had to do. Thrusting his blade forward, he drove it into Cruz's chest, causing blood to drip from his blade to the snow.

Cruz grabbed Bell's shoulder and whispered into his ear. "Hopefully, you're in. All for the sake of peace. Right, Bell?"

Cruz then breathed his final breath and fell back. His corpse landed in the snow, and it started to turn red beneath him.

Bell held Longclaw. Watching as it dripped blood down onto the snow. Cruz's blood. He was unmoving as his eyes were wide and his hands were shaking.

Ein approached him and carefully took LongClaw away from Bell. She sheathed it before grabbing Bell's hand.

"Come Bell Cranel. Let's leave this place." She said.

Bell didn't respond and just let Ein lead him away. Vito just groaned and looked at Cruz's corpse.

"Oh well, guess that's one less pest to worry about. Man, he was saying some hurtful things, wasn't he Bell? Almost makes you question if your loyalties lie with those who don't value you."

Vito was jumping at the emotionally weakened Bell. If he could turn him to their side, it would make Alfia suffer.

But when Bell didn't answer, Vito just sighed. "Oh well, we'll talk about it later. Revis dispose of the body. We don't want the rescue party to find that and be able to track us. Meet us back at Knossos."

Vito then looked around and saw that Lefiya was missing. "Oh great, the elf is missing as well. No matter the monsters on this floor will easily kill her. But if you happen to run into her, Revis, finish the job."

Revis nodded before grabbing Cruz's body and taking him away. Vito then turned around and smirked at the emotionally vulnerable Bell. He would have such fun turning him to their side.

Bell didn't say or do anything else for the rest of the trip back to Knossos. Even as he was untied and led to a room where he was left, he didn't move.

He just sat on his bed and stared at the ground. He kept replaying the fight in his head over and over again. He knew what Cruz did.

He pretended that everyone hated Bell to plant seeds of doubt into Evilus's mind. If they think no one in the Loki familia values Bell, they would try and recruit him. Cruz let himself be killed for the possibility of Bell becoming a spy inside Evilus.

But one thought kept running through Bell's mind.

"I killed Cruz."

One thing I want to say is that the Night King didn't speak to Bell. He just used magic to make Bell hear a bunch of voices. Because I think the Night King shouldn't speak because he seems more like a force of nature than a person.

Anyway, Lefiya is in a dangerous situation. Cruz is dead, and Bell is being held by Evilus. Will Lefiya die? Also, what's the deal with Revis, and what happened to Bell's friends?

Who knows, but I'll see ya next time. Also, happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it.
