I do not own any of the people in the story. Happy Thanksgiving.

One day before Thanksgiving Tim Taylor comes home from work and tells his oldest son Brad, that he has good news. Brad makes a joke then Tim tells him that the family got a private box to the aural Thanksgiving Day Game. Both of them are excited until Jill walks and Tim has to give speech to his wife to convince her to go; she is all for going.

Thanksgiving Day arrives the Taylor's are taken to their box. Everyone but the middle son, Randy, was enjoying the box before a tall older man named Ted walked greeting the family. Jill introduced the family to Ted then once Tim saw Ted's face he started to wonder have he seen this guy before?

"Maybe you met one of my brothers before Ned or Fred?"

"Yeah yeah," Tim said before he mentioned where he saw them at.

Ted mention that he would give Tim a tour of the domes electrical and plumbing system Tim gets excited before Ted walks out. Randy points out that all of the food in their box could have gone to needy people. Then an obnoxious sleazy older man walked says that this his box. Jill tried to get Tim to get man out of the box but he refused.

Two women walked in when Brad's hormones let lose with him saying, "Now I got something to be thankful for,"

The Lions won the coin toss, Tim gets excited and a confused Jill said that the game just started. He said that they won the coin toss. Moments later Ted walks in letting Tim know its Time for his tour. Jill protest to Tim about leading her he makes a speech then catches up with Ted.

Tim and Ted are about to go to the domes control room. Ted mentions they control the lights and the 2,000 toilets

"Wait 2,000 toilets? Do you have a button where you can flush them all?" Tim asked.

"No but you're a real thinker," Ted said.

As Tim was about to go back to his box, Ted said that he had a surprise for him. Next thing Tim knew he was on the Jombovision. His facial expression was that of a goofy kid who grabbed a price a paper to promote his show 'Tool Time.' The next thing everyone knew, the lights went out.

"Great dad ruined Thanksgiving for 80,000 people," Randy said.

"Not to mention everyone watching the game on TV," Jill said.

Meanwhile at Tim's co star's place. Al, his brother Cal, and their mom was enjoying Thanksgiving. Al had the game on but no one was paying attention when legendary broadcaster Pat Summerall was about to call the snap when the lights went out.

"Here is the snap and…. Folks either the power went out or the lights went out," he said.

"It is just the lights because you can still hear the Public Address Announcers voice. Legendary Country Music singer Reba has a cover of the song 'The Night The Lights Want Out In Georgia.' This has became the Thanksgiving the lights went out in Detroit," his legendary broadcast partner John Madden said.

Back at Al's apartment, he gave an impression of Tim since he knew that Tim's family was at the game.

"Oh no!" Al said shockingly.

"What's wrong?" Cal asked

"I think Tim just messed up the lights at the Silverdome. He is at the game," Al said.

Meanwhile Tim's friend Harry and his son Dennis were watching the game when that happened.

"Wow um dad isn't Tim at the game? Dennis asked.

"I believe he is. It wouldn't surprise me if somehow this is his fault, " Harry said.

"Oh Harry stop joking," his wife Dolores said.

"I'm not joking," Harry said.

Just then Tim and Harry's free loading friend Benny arrived.

"Sorry that I'm late did I miss anything? He asked.

"Yeah Tim blew out the lights at the Silvsrdome," Harry said.

"No way how do you know this?" Benny asked.

"The lights are out and Tim is at the game," Dennis said as the broadcast went back to the pre and post game hosts.

Meanwhile all of the construction workers at K&B Construction were watching the game. Rock called Dwayne asking him if he had any idea what happened, he said no before he called Pete.

"Hello," Pete said.

"Pete," Dwayne said

"That would be me," Pete said in his usual tone.

"Are you watching the game?" Dwayne asked.

"I was until the game went dark," Pete said.

"So were Rock and myself, you don't suppose that Tim Taylor had something to do with this?" Dewayne asked.

"It wouldn't surprise me," Rock said.

Heidi was having Thanksgiving Dinner with her in-laws when Tim postponed the Lions game. The only way she knew this was because her husband, father in law, and several males were complaining. This has Tim written all over it. She thought. That is when she noticed on the top of the screen the words 'Today's game is delayed due to Tim Taylor.

At the home of Tim's high school shop teacher Art Lenard, he told thought what did he do now?

At Tim's brother Marty's house, his family is waiting for Nancy's family to arrive when Marty and his twin daughters were watching the game. The twins both said uh no similar to how Tim would say it.

Back in the Taylor's box, Jill was surprised to see none other than legendary comedian Rodney Dangerfield, then Jill introduced herself and the boys to him. Mark ask Jill who he is before Rodney made a joke to Mark about wearing black.

Sometime passed with Tim and Ted in the control room. Tim tried to help fix things but Ted protested. Tim open the door and an angry mob of media personally started yelling at him. I hope I don't see Bobby Ross or Barry Sanders while I'm here. He thought before he opened the door again to the same mob.

"By the way, your flushing idea stinks, " Ted said before Tim slammed one hand on the control panel.

"Sorry," Tim as he slammed one hand onto the control panel.

Ted said to do that again and he said sorry. Ted said to slam is hand on the control panel and the lights came on. While Rodney was telling a joke, Mark pointed out that the lights came back on. Players from the Lions and Chicago Bears went back onto the field while the fans were clearing. FOX NFL studio host James Brown announced to anyone still watching that the game will resume soon.

A short time later, Rodney Dangerfield was cracking jokes when he left the box before Tim walked in. He appetized for ruining Thanksgiving Jill told him that she met Rodney Dangerfield as he didn't believe her. That is when Rodney walked back in to Tim's surprise.

"I'm Tim Taylor," he said.

"So you're the knucklehead who caused the lights to go out. I hope I see you again, so I can run into you," Rodney said.

Just before the game resumed Tim's mom called Marty and he told her what happened. She told Jeff and they were not pleased.

That night before going to bed, Tim was watching ESPN's SportsCenter when he saw the highlights of the game that he was at.

"The Lions beat the Bears 55-20. During the game a Detroit area TV personality caused the lights to go off in the first half," the broadcaster said before Tim went to bed.

After Monday's episode of 'Tool Time' Heidi told Tim that someone wanted to see him. It was the owner of the Detroit Lions William Clay SR. Tim was excited to see him.

"After what happened on Thanksgiving Day, on behalf of the Detroit Lions you have ban for life from entering any boxes. Your family can attend the games in any box though," William Clay Ford SR before someone else walked up to Tim.

Tim said oh no as Lions Running back Barry Sanders was facing him.
