Chapter 16: Be the Shark:
Pearl's POV:
I was collecting more human items when a giant squid was about to attack me. Just as it was getting closer, General Tarron came in his shark form and scared it off.
"Thanks General," I said.
He then turns back to normal. "It's what I do. Now, we better get you home."
The Codfather's POV:
I hate dat mermaid, N' therez Ain't nuthin' but do yo' know Who I hate mo' then her? dat stupid general Tarron! Dude thinks dudez so tough just bcuz' dudez put me away before! Datz why I'm goin' ta dis fortune tella fo' a way ta beat dat general.
"You seek a way to defeat your enemy," the Dame said.
"How'd yo' know dat?"
"Do I look like someone you would ask out?"
"Heck no! So, what yo' got?"
"As the only one who has visited me, I have something. This jar of dust. The dust will trap your foe in his shark form."
"I didn't say dude was a merthug."
"Do you want it or not?"
Pearl's POV:
Tarron was escorting me back home when some strange form of dust got to him.
"Sure is dusty," says Tarron, "I hope that isn't Contaminus' doing."
"I'm pretty sure he's more serious then that," I said.
General Tarron's POV:
At night, I was having trouble sleeping. Then I turned to my shark form against my will. I tried to change back, but I couldn't. I was stuck.
Pearl's POV:
It was breakfast time. We saw Tarron swimming by in his shark form.
"Is there an emgerceny," asks my Father.
He shakes his head no.
"Then why are you in shark form," asks Jewel.
"She's right," says my Father, "change back." He tries. "You can't!"

General Tarron was stuck in his shark form.
"Can we help him," I asked.
"I hope so," says my Father, "because if we don't, we will lose him. The shark will take over forever."
The Codfather's POV:
"Dat worked! Mista Law n' Orda be naw uglia then my mutha!"
"Boss, what is it between you two," asks Gill.
"Datz none o' yo' businizz! Tha point be, soon, dudez goin' ta smoke y'all dude cares 'bout! Includin' a certain mermaid princess!" I then laughed.
Pearl's POV:
My Father tried to save him with his trident, but it was failing. I then remembered I spoke with that fortune teller.

Baby Sinclair: No you didn't!
Pearl: Yes I did, you just don't remember.
. . .
I then swam over to her.
"You once told me there was a way to save a merman trapped in his shark form," I said.
"We spoke?"
"Yes, remember?"
"Ohh... right. Be warned, if the Codfather finds out about this, bad things could happen."
"The Codfather's kind of an idiot," I said, "so I'm not worried... also, he's behind this?"
"The Merman who is cursed must be the shark."
"That's the problem," I said, "he's stuck as a shark!"
"I did all I can," says the Fortune Teller, "goodbye."

I then swam, but when I got back, General Tarron was gone.
"The Codfather," says Porcus, "he freed the General!"
. . .
Everyone was searching for the General, but I found him and he was going on a rampage.
"I ludd a wack comedy," says the Codfather.
"Codfather, you are a despicable, horrible, heartless, creature," I said.
"Flattery isn't goin' ta make me stop dis," says the Codfather.
I then swam to the General. "General Tarron, if you can hear me..." He tried to eat me, but I dodged. I then thought about what the Fortune Teller said. 'Be the Shark'. "Of course!" I then swam to the General. "General, you can take control! Be one with your shark form! You need balance!"

The General then turns back. "That's what I needed to hear, Princess."
"Yo' ruined everythin' again!" The Codfather tries to attack, but then the General turns to his shark form and scares him off.
"So, what is it with you two," I asked.
The General sighs. "Back when he was a threat, I once went undercover in his gang. He then found out and tried to kill everyone I ever cared about. I managed to stop him and I think that led to his gang abandoning him."
"I guess he still holds a grudge," I said, "why keep that a secret?"
"Because, I was getting too close," I said, "take my advice, never try to be something you're not. Now, let's get you home."
. . .
We were all eating.
"Where's the General," asks my Father.
"He's around." I said. The General was swimming around Lemuria in his shark form.
In the next chapter, Pearl goes with Jewel and Nadia to a party, but they run into trouble.
