The next day, Jin'ichirō was having the students do some art.

"Nice cat," said Jin'ichirō as a girl drew an orange siamese cat that looked life like it was so well drawn.

"It's my cat Lily, we've had her since she was a kitten," said the girl.

"At least you drew something that is fun, and not educational," said Jin'ichirō as he noticed Jasmin painting a DNA strand.

"Jasmin, I thought I told you to work only on non-education art," he said.

"Yeah, but learning is fun for me," said Jasmin.

"Well you're getting an F on it for not following directions," said Jin'ichirō as he walked away. That night in Jasmin's dorm room.

"I can't believe this, two Fs within just two days," said Jasmin as she laid in bed wearing pink silk pajamas.

"How am I supposed to draw something fun that's not educational?" she asked while looking at a sketchbook.

"What was fun when I was little?" asked Jasmin as she thought for a moment, after which she got up and started drawing. In class the next morning, Jasmin had turned in a drawing of a horse.

"Now this is much better, in fact I think you could do good animation work," said Jin'ichirō.

"Really?" asked a surprised Jasmin.

"In fact I have an idea; hey Piggy Tail and Creampuff, could you come here for a second?" asked Jin'ichirō.

"What is it Mr. Kagami?" asked Aki Fujita, who was nicknamed Piggy Tails because of her pink hair which was done up in two pigtails.

"What do you think about teaming with Jasmin to make a short movie clip for a contest?" asked Jin'ichirō as he handed them a flier.

"I think it would be a good experience," said Hoshi Tanaka.

"I'm in," said Jasmin with a smile.

"I also know some people from the Ichou Branch who might be some help to you," said Jin'ichirō. As they talked, a girl in the back of the room was watching.

"Wish I had friends," said the girl in a low voice as she held onto her left wrist which had a long, fingerless glove on it. Her name was Mana Yamada.
