The next day was Saturday, and Jin'ichirō had spent the rest of the night at the hospital waiting to hear any news on Mana.
"Mr. Kagami, she's awake," said a nurse. Jin'ichirō then went into Mana's room, where she was strapped to a bed with an IV in her arm which was giving her blood.
"Why would you do something like this?" asked Jin'ichirō as he walked in.
"It started because of stress from my parents, but I've never gotten this close," said Mana as she looked away from him.
"If you think cutting yourself is the way to make things better, then you're an idiot," said Minako as she walked in.
"And who are you to judge me?" asked Mana.
"A former student of mine from Higashi Shinmei High School," said Jin'ichirō.
"I'm also the former leader of the Black Oracle Gang, and I thought this world was not worth living in too, so I had planed to kill myself," said Minako.
"However, Mr. Kagami commented on a post I had made on a website, and it changed my life, that was before I even knew him in person and since meeting him I've been doing even more to make my world better," said Minako.
"What does this have to do with me?" asked Mana.
"I'm just saying that I got a second chance, now it's your chance," said Minako.
"And we'll be there to help you," said Jasmin as she walked in with her project team.
"You all came here to see me?" asked Mana with a surprised expression.
"Mr. Kagami emailed the whole class to let us know what happened," said Hoshi.
"I have a question for you, Gloves; when you were little, did you have some kind of hobby that you loved?" asked Jin'ichirō.
"I loved writing stories, until my parents yelled at me that I needed to focus on learning the family business and threw out all of the books I had written," said Mana.
"We could use your help then, our group has been having trouble with a storyline for our movie," said Aki.
"Is it not too late?" asked Mana.
"The admissions office is not taking forms until Monday, you have till tomorrow to sign it," said Jin'ichirō.
"Then sign me up," said Mana with a weak smile.
