Chapter 24: Sludge:
Contaminus' POV:
I enjoy polluting the sea and I shall not stop until the sea is a disgusting, poisonous sight. It's time to get slimy. I grabbed a pile of sludge and worked my magic.
Contaminus: Mmm, sludge
Mmm, filth
Aah, fumes
Oil and grime, poison sludge
Diesel clouds and noxious muck
Slime beneath me, slime up above
Ooh, you'll love my (Chorus: ah-ah-ah) toxic love
Toxic love
I see the world and all the creatures in it
I suck 'em dry and spit 'em out like spinach
I feel the power, it's growing by the minute
And pretty soon you're gonna see me wallow in it
I feel good, better then those before me
health and cleanliness depress and frankly bore me
I think I'll spew them all with cyanide saliva
Pour me a puke cocktail and take me to the driver
Filthy brown acid rain
Pouring down like egg chow mein
All that's foul, all that's stained
Breeding in my toxic brain
And after dinner I could go for looking around
For revenge for all those years locked under the ground
I'll crush and grind all creatures great and small
And put up parking lots and shiny shopping malls
'Cause my new sludge monsters will always lend a hand
With the destruction of this worthless aquatic land
And what a beautiful spell my Grandma has provided
To summon my army with my foul breath to guide it

My sludge monsters are now born, and they will help my pollute all seven seas!
Pearl's POV:
Slippery and I were collecting more human things.
"Pearl, I'm worried we might run into one of the villains," says Slippery.
"Slippery, how often does that happen," I asked. Slippery then glares at me. "I see your point." I then heard something. "What was that?" I then swam to the source.

Slippery and I then saw this gross looking monsters.
"That is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen," says Slippery.
"Yuck, they could contaminate the ocean," I said.
"Contaminus," we both said.
"Go, my children of sludge," says Contaminus, "and don't stop until the sea is so dirty, humans can't even see their reflections in them!"
"Let's go," I said.
. . .
I told my Father what happened.
"Contaminus must be stopped at all costs," says my Father.
"But how do we stop these things," I asked.
"My trident could probably defeat them," says my Father, "but first we'll have to learn all we can about them. Porcus, that will be your job!"
"Yes, your Magesty," says Porcus.
Porcus' POV:
I was looking through all the books and then I found something. "I have to tell the King!"
Pearl's POV:
We were watching my Father face the Sludge Monsters as they were coming. My Father tries to blast them... but it did nothing. We then heard Contaminus' horrible laugh.
"It's not that easy," says Contaminus.

We all talked to Porcus. "As it turns out, the only way to defeat the Sludge Monsters is to clean them," says Porcus.
"But how can we do that," asks Slippery.
"I... do not know," says Porcus.
"Well, we have to try something," I said.
. . .
The Sludge Monsters were on their way to Lemuria. Somehow, we needed to clean them. I then had an idea. I gathered all the mermaids and we used our singing to have the water stop the Sludge Monsters. Then the guards all got to work cleaning the Sludge Monsters. The monsters tried to fight back.
"You will not clean my children of the sludge," says Contaminus.
My Father then wrestled him.
"Take a look at your children," says my Father.
The Sludge Monsters were so clean, they were disappearing. "You will all pay for this," says Contaminus as he swims away.
. . .
We were then all cleaning the messy trail the sludge monsters made.
"I just don't understand how someone like Contaminus can exist," I said.
"Some people just don't understand how important a clean environment is," says my Father.
It's up to us to keep it all clean.
In the next chapter, the Kappas take over Lemuria.
