Mulan's POV:
"It doesn't feel right without him," I said.
"Yeah, it really stinks," says Mushu.
"I'm glad I had a friend like you," I said.
"I ain't no friend," says Mushu.
"What do you mean," I asked.
"I was worried about losing my job and my theme song guy, so I acted selfish and tried to sabotage your romance and now your lover's dead, the bug had to remind me how having kids work, and you're going to marry a kid who can't figure out how to free his fingers!"
"Mushu... wait, do you know what this mean," I asked.
"Yes, I'm a terrible reptile," says Mushu, "I don't deserve to be a guardian! I stink at biology!"
"OOOOooookkkkaaaayyyy," I said, "I was actually focusing on the part about Honghui. We were meant to be!"
"But now he's dead and you're going to marry Prince Fingers," says Mushu.
"That's right," I said.
Mushu was looking at me while I was sad.

"I'm still not so sure about this," says Lord Qin's wife.

"Stop!" It was Honghui. He's alive!
"Honghui," I asked.
"Mulan," says Honghui.
"Stop them," says Lord Qin. The guards surround Honghui.
Mushu's POV:
"Where is that dang Golden Dragon of Unity," I asked. The cricket then gave me an idea.
Mulan's POV:
Then the giant dragon started talking. "Stop! The Golden Dragon of Unity commands you!"
"It can't be," says Lord Qin.
"Now, why are there no happy faces," asks the dragon.
"Well... she promised to marry my son and he's interrupting-"
"You're the one interfering with a romance here, buddy-boy." I then realized it was Mushu. "What I see is two souls that are meant to be united! Mulan, do you take this man?"
"I do," I said.
"And do you take her?"
"Yes," says Honghui.
"Then, the Golden Dragon of Unity declares you two united! And the Golden Dragon of Unity also declares that the Princess should marry whoever they choose!"
The Princesses then kiss Ling, Yao, and Chien Po.
"You got a problem with this," asks Mushu.
"No, Great Golden Dragon of Unity," says Lord Qin.
I was reunited with Honghui.
Mushu's POV:
Now, I have to get used to being a nobody. The Ancestors were enjoying it, but then we saw Mulan and Honghui.
"He's combining the Family Temples!"
"What does that mean," I asked, "for me?"
"It means... you may remain a Guardian."
I then cheered and fell towards Mulan and Honghui. "So, this is the famous Mushu," says Honghui.
"You told him about me," I asked.
"I told him everything," says Mulan.
"Great Golden Dragon of Unity," says Honghui.
I was embarrassed.
"So, what does combining the family temples do," asks Mulan.
"It means, thanks to my new favorite guy here," I said, "I get to stay a guardian! Man, I am so glad you guys evolved from birds."
"I'm pretty sure it was apes," says Honghui.
"I really need a biology book," I said, "someone get me a biology book!"
