Blaine walked into McKinley, eyes scanning the halls for his boyfriend Kurt. When his eyes found Kurt at his locker he walked towards him and saw Rachel and Mercedes standing next to him. Blaine thought about turning around and heading towards his own locker but he was friends with Rachel and Mercedes as well. Kurt saw him and opened his arms and Blaine walked into them. Kurt pulled away and kissed Blaine's cheek.
"What are you guys talking about?"
"Our class assignment. We have a three page paper due tomorrow for English." Kurt explained
"Do you want me to come over tonight to help babe?" Blaine asked. Kurt shook his head
"I've got it, thanks babe" Kurt told him squeezing his hand.
"So what songs are we thinking about for Glee club? Mr. Schue really wants us to go back to the 80's and relive his dreams" Rachel stated
"Mr. Schue graduated high school in the 90's Rach"
''Whatever same thing"
The bell rang and they all went their separate ways. Blaine kissed Kurt before heading to his homeroom.
His morning seemed to drag, homeroom first then English and finally Earth Science. Lunch was his least favorite time of the day. So far he has managed to avoid it, telling Kurt he had to catch up on assignments in the library. As he was walking towards the Library Kurt stopped him.
"Hey babe heading to the Library? Can I join you?"
Blaine nodded and Kurt followed him to the Library. Kurt pulls out his lunch and Blaine looks at him. Blaine had an oversight. He never packed a lunch because he never had Kurt follow him. Kurt typically sat with the other members of the glee club during lunch so today was a bit strange.
"Where's your lunch?" Kurt asked
"I am not hungry yet. I ate breakfast later than usual today, so I will eat my lunch during history. " You need to lie better or he will catch on.
"My mom was running around trying to get work done and didn't make breakfast so I ate it in the car on my way here."
Kurt just nodded. Blaine smiled at him and Blaine opened his World history book. He typically did his homework right now so he could avoid the lunch room. Kurt ate and talked to him while he did his homework, which helped the time go by faster. The next period started and he went and sat down at a desk towards the back of the room.
Blaine walked to his locker and opened it grabbing his books before slammed it shut glad to be done with the day. He put the books into his backpack before heading towards Glee club. He sat down in his usual seat and waited for Kurt.
Kurt walked in with Rachel, Mercedes and Finn laughing and talking. They all sat down in their seats and Mr. Shue walked in.
"Okay so last week we talked about songs from the 80's and i gave you the assignment songs from the 80's"
"Mr. Schue, I have a song" Rachel stood up. Of Course she did. She always had something prepared.
Rachel sung Running up that hill by Katie Bush. It was impressive. It showed a different side of her voice, instead of the musical theatre she was always singing.
Blaine excused himself to the bathroom. The first thing he did was lift up his shirt. He noticed his stomach looked bigger than it did yesterday. He put his hand on his stomach and started to pull at the skin. Pulling it forward to see how much fat he was touching. He then pulled it from side to side. Poking at his rib cage, his chest, his thighs. He felt huge. No matter what it seemed like every day, no matter how little he ate his body didn't change, or even got bigger. Blaine left the bathroom and snuck into the locker room. There was a scale in there he often weighed himself on. It was something he did multiple times a day. If he weighs less than he did yesterday he rewarded himself with a little apple. If he didn't, the apple wasn't an option. 125. Mentally cursing at himself he got off the scale and headed back to glee club everyone else none the wiser of what he was just doing. Blaine sat back down next to Kurt and Kurt offered his hand to Blaine and he took it. It was little things like that, that Blaine looked forward too.
When glee was over, Blaine walked hand and hand with Kurt to his car.
"What song do you want to sing for glee?" Kurt asked
Blaine just shrugged. " I don't know maybe something like Wake me up before you go-go"
Kurt smiled "Your voice would sound great with that song"
"What about you babe?' Blaine asked.
" I haven't really thought about it. Leave it to Rachel to have a list of songs for everything Mr. Schue could ever come up with so she can show everyone else up." Kurt said. Blaine laughed.
"I have to go my dad wants me home before 5 so I can help with Dinner, i'll see you tomorrow"
"Love you" Blaine responded and gave Kurt a quick kiss. Kurt smiled and told Blaine he loved him as well before walking to his own car and heading home.
Blaine knew what his house would look like. His parents fighting, his dad storming out yet again after the fight. His mom leaves and goes out with friends leaving Blaine alone.
It happened too often Blaine had learned that it was just best to hide in his room. When Blaine stepped into the house he noticed how quiet it was. He called out to his parents but nobody answered. He went into the kitchen and saw a letter from his mom. His mom was out of town and his dad was in England for a business trip for the next two weeks. So he had the house to himself for the next few days at least.
One perk of his house is his parents had a workout room, treadmill, some free weights and some cardio machines. He spent most of his night in this room, running on the treadmill till he felt like he couldn't anymore.
You need to run faster, otherwise you will get fatter
That little voice in his head was always telling him what to do and Blaine always listened, it was steering him in the right direction, right?
