Chapter 22: It's Go Time:

A Different Character's POV:

My name is Otto Osworth. In the year 2001, I learned that Time Travel was real. I met Officer Buck Tuddrussel and the Larry 3000, both members of the Time Squad. Our job, to enforce the Past to Protect our Future. The Future is great! There are no wars, no pollution, and bacon is good for your heart. But if anything goes wrong in the Past, that could ruin things. Believe it or not, History isn't always that perfect. Eli Whitney made flesh eating robots, Sigmund Freud was hypnotizing people to act like animals, Sitting Bull liked to party, and Christopher Columbus was selling hotdogs. Can you believe it? Anyway, about the team. Tuddrussel's supposed to be the leader because he's the senior officer, but he has one problem...he's not mentally mature, but he does take Law and Order seriously... although, we're technically not the Law. Moving on, Larry was designed to work with diplomats, but since all the nations have come together to form one nation... he's now working with the Time Squad. As for why I'm with the, I'm an orphan and I'm obsessed with history. These guys know nothing about history, so they need me. Anyway, then the alarm went off.

Larry goes on the screen, and we see someone named Aku.

"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... Otto, who's Aku," asks Tuddrussel.

"I've never heard of him," I said.

"That's odd," says Larry, "he looks like an unusual fellow."

"What are we supposed to do, convince this guy not to try to be a movie star," asks Tuddrussel.

"Well, let's get this over with," says Larry.

We got to the time machine and Larry punches in the coordinates, and we took off.

. . .

We then arrived at Aku's lair.

"Hey, who are those guys," asks Tuddrussel.

Yoi's POV:

We arrived at Aku's fortress. There were many evil spirits. Kuromi is a shrine maiden so she can repel them.

Otto's POV:

"I'm sure they're not important," says Larry, "now, let's go."

"It's Go Time," says Tuddrussel.

. . .

We entered and met with Aku.

"What do we have here," asks Aku.

"Umm... we were just wondering..." I began.

"Wait, what's that," asks Aku.

"Oh, I'm a robot," says Larry.

"A robot," asks Aku.

"Yes, we are time travelers from the Future," says Larry.

"Intriguing," says Aku.

"AKU," shouts that guy with the sword.

"Who dares to call upon Aku?"

"I am the Son of the one who defeated you all those years ago!"

"You do not know what you are dealing with!"

After Aku sings a song, the sword guy fights him and when he takes Aku down, but before he could make the final strike, Aku sends the sword guy and his friends through a wormhole.

"What was that," asks Tuddrussel.

"We will meet again, Samurai, in time!" Aku then turns to look at us. "Oh, thank you for giving me the idea, Time Travelers!" Aku then laughs. We then left.

. . .

We returned to our satellite.

"How were we supposed to help... whatever he was," asks Otto.

"Something's not right," says Larry, "according to the computers, the Earth is changing!"

"What," Tuddrussel and I both said.

"Because our satellite is protected by special time stuff, we can notice the changes," says Larry, "it seems it's going from a utopia... to the worst place in the Universe!"

We then see it on the screen and Tuddrussel covers my eyes. "You shouldn't be seeing this," says Tuddrussel.

"Wait," I said, "maybe we're supposed to make sure Aku doesn't send that guy through time!"

"Well, he got the idea from us," says Larry, "maybe if we keep ourselves from giving him the idea..."

. . .

We went back in time again and this time, we were chasing after ourselves and when we caught up with them...

"Awe man, don't tell me I created another bug ruled world," other Tuddrussel said.

"Nah, but listen, Aku's gonna send this guy with a sword to the Future..." Tuddrussel begins.

"An excellent idea," says Aku, "I hope you don't mind if I give that a try!"

Yoi's POV:

"You have won for now," says Aku, "but in the Future, I will destroy you!"

"There is no future for you," I said.

"Oh, no?" Aku then traps us in some kind of field, and we were disappearing. "We will meet again, Samurai, in time!"

Otto's POV:

When that failed, we have a new plan, kidnap the sword guy and his friends. We grabbed them, put them in a crate, and shipped them off to the other side of the world. But they're good sailors, so they find another boat and got back.

"Awe Man," says Tuddrussel.

. . .

We then got Aku to have lemons so sour that he wouldn't be able to spit that time vortex out of his mouth. Turns out, sour stuff doesn't work on him.

"Those were good lemons," says Aku.

. . .

Tuddrussel tries taking out Aku himself, but as it turns out, his blasters don't work on him.

"What is this guy made of," asks Tuddrussel, "'cause it can't be normal!"

. . .

We then tried making lullaby music to put Aku to sleep, but...

"You're keeping me awake with that stupid music," says a goblin, who then takes Larry, who was playing the music with his body, and throws him away.

. . .

We then returned to the satellite.

"Nothing seems to be working," says Larry.

"Guys... what's happening to me?" I was starting to fade.

"I thought you said we were protected," says Tuddrussel.

"Just enough to notice the changes," says Larry, "I thought I explained that."

I was...

Larry's POV:

With Otto gone, it was up to me and Tuddrussel. We're doomed. We tried learning about Aku. Because he was ruling the world, there was a lot about him.

"Apparently, he invented the Moon," says Tuddrussel.

"These are all lies," I said.

"Well, if you took over the planet, wouldn't you lie," asks Tuddrussel.

"Good point," I said.

"I miss Otto," says Tuddrussel.

"I know," I said, "wait... time travel! Why don't we just take the sword guy and travel him and his friends back to that day?"

"Hey yeah," says Tuddrussel, "we just need to find him! It's Go Time!"

. . .

Larry and I then time traveled to the spot where the sword guy and his friends ended up.

"He carries a sword," says Tuddrussel.

"Oh yeah, I think he's at Camp Kidney," says a green guy with one eye.

"Thanks Man," says Tuddrussel.

. . .

We then went to Camp Kidney, but then I was beginning to fade.

"Oh no, Larry, it's happening to you now," says Tuddrussel.

"There he is," I said.

We were moving, but then we lost them. "What do we do now," asks Tuddrussel.

"It's up to you," I said. I then used my remains to send Tuddrussel back in time.

Tuddrussel's POV:

There's only one thing to do. I started setting up different ways to travel back in time. Like a jewel I hid in the Desert Oasis. Also, I had a blue and white time portal made in a jungle. There's the Crystal of Cagliostro, Gems of Cronus, the Rope of Eons, and the Well of Ozric. There was also a time portal I entrusted to these lizard-like monks and a time portal I asked this one guy to act as guardian to another one. With all these time travel things, the sword guy had to find one and go back in time so he can take Aku down. This is a good plan. I then saw my time was done... For now...

I know what happened to the Time Squad was pretty dark, but it just seemed logical to me. Anyway, in the next chapter, Jack learns to jump good.
