Chapter 26: Jump Good (4):

Jack's POV:

The time has come for us to finally learn to jump good. We also convinced Ben and Johnny to take part in the lessons.

"I don't think I need this," says Ben, "I can turn into ten different aliens."

"Have you used all ten," asks Johnny.

Ben then thinks. "Heatblast, Four Arms, Ghostfreak, Wildmutt, Diamondhead, Stinkfly, Upgrade, XLR8, Ripjaws... I guess not, but then again, the remaining alien's pretty useless."

"Before we begin the lessons," I said, "we must help our friends set up their defenses."

"Then let's go for it," says Johnny.

Jill's POV:

I was helping the White Apes prepare some traps.

"I'm sure this won't be anywhere near as hard as Aku," I said. I don't know if they can understand me. "Okay, well, when they step here, the ropes will grab them and they will end up hanging up-side-down." I think they understood that, but then one got caught in a trap. "Oh boy."

Peter's POV:

I was helping the apes learn to fight.

"Just do as I do," I said.

The apes started copying my movement, but then I stubbed my toe and I started hopping on one foot and they started copying that.

Johnny's POV:

The apes and I started making fruit catapults. "Okay, the peanuts are the red apes..." A white ape eats the peanuts. "The pieces of candy are the red apes..." Another white ape eats the candy. "The pebbles are the..." Believe it or not, a third white ape eats the pebbles. "The brustle sprouts are the red apes." No one eats the brustle sprouts. "Now we can get things done."

Ben's POV:

I was showing the apes about throwing rocks. It wasn't going well. "Come on guys," I said. Maybe it's not them. Maybe I need to look at this in a smart way. I then activated my watch and turned to my last alien, Grey Matter. "Alright, now listen to me you Hominoidea." Everyone's confused. "Apes."

Jack's POV:

We all set up the traps and helped the apes learn to fight. The Red Apes will not expect what happens next.

. . .

The time to learn has come for them to teach us.

Singer: Jump so high

Tie me down, try to hold me up
But the wall ain't high enough
And they play so hard
In a game so rough
But I still can't
Give it up

I'm out there on my own
Work but I got to get some
Run it right into the sun
Oh (Chorus: jump so high)
(Chorus: So high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I got it right (Chorus: so high, high, high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I got it right

Find your life
In the darkest sky
And the stars burn
Inside our eyes
Cutting through the days
To our glory days
We won't give up
Never too late

I'm out there on my own
Work but I got to get some
Run it right into the sun
Oh (Chorus: jump so high)
(Chorus: So high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I got it right (Chorus: so high, high, high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I got it right

Yeah, we finally made it
You know they hate it
I swear to God
Knowing just what you are
Made you into a star
Made you into the man
No one else like this
Before the house was a house
It was on my wrist
It's the island life, yeah mahalo witch
Went from ashy to classy
I'm aloe rich, I stay Aloe Blacc
Man, Bino back
Man, he never left
I smoke loud I'm deaf
Your smoke plead the fifth
I know the glory
They hate on your shine
'Cause they know the story
Thrown to the wolves but your drive so Mowgli
I could drive through the hood
And them, boys, they know me
Is he one of the greatest
Time will tell
But time is relative
They assume the melanin
And they kill the culture
This might insult ya
White man can't jump, and I
(Chorus: Jump so high)

I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I got it right (Chorus: so high, high, high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I jump so high (Chorus: so high)
I got it right!

"You jump good," says the Monkey Man.

. . .

The time to say goodbye has come. "Thank you, my friend," I said.

"Friend." The Monkey Man then hugs me.

. . .

As we were leaving, the Red Ape Tribe came, and the White Ape Tribe used what we taught them to trap them.

"Hungry," asks the Monkey Man, "here food!" Stuffs some fruit in a red ape's mouth. "Want more? Here!" Stuffs another fruit in his mouth. "Never bother us again!"

The Red Apes then left.

. . .

Jill, Peter, and I arrived at the portal.

Aku appears. "Once again, the portal is out of your reach..." I then took to the air. "You can fly?"

"No," I said, "jump good."

Aku's POV:

"It was lucky you destroyed the time portal in time, but if you didn't waste time taunting him..." The Chamberlain begins.

"Shut up, Chamberlain," I said.

That ends this season and the next one will have The Scotsman's Wife, Da Samurai, the Rave Slaves, the Thief, the Gangsters as well as others.
