Chapter 59: Cursed Unmarked Videotape?:

Ali's POV:

My name is Ali, and I am a member of the Daughters of Aku. I just know there is a Resistance spy somewhere in the palace. And who says Billy is the last of the traitors? Someone else might switch to the Samurai's side. Plus, the Samurai might be around here somewhere. I was then called by Lord Aku.

"Ali, listen to me..." he begins.

"The Samurai is here, isn't he," I asked.

Lord Aku then face palmed. "No, I just want you to go to the video store and get me a new movie."

"Oh, alright," I said.

. . .

I had to be on guard for the Samurai could strike at any moment. I was walking to the video store. I then saw the video store.

. . .

At the video store, I saw Jordan. He was supposed to be working, but he is very lazy. Despite that, I find him very attractive. Unfortunately, his parents were among many blinded fools who see Lord Aku as a monster. It's because of the lies the Resistance keep spreading. I then looked around the store.

. . .

I was looking for something, but then I found a strange tape. It was not marked. Still, it has to be better than all the others. Looks like I'm taking this one.

. . .

I walked up to Jordan and rented out the tape.

"And here you go," says Jordan.

"I... I really like that uniform," I said.

"Thanks," says Jordan, "but... there's still..."

"Your parents are fools," I said, "but if you'd rather listen to their lies, then so be it!" I then walked away.

. . .

I returned and I had this strange feeling... like I should play the tape before showing it to Lord Aku.

"What'cha got there," asks Mandark.

"This unmarked tape," I said. I then walked away.

"Nice chatting with you," says Mandark, "Daughters of Aku are so rude."

. . .

I was alone and I played the tape. It was strange... mainly because there was nothing on it. I cannot give this to Lord Aku! Then there was a phone call. I answered it. "Hello?"

"You will all pay!"

They then hung up. That was odd. Then I heard something and ran to take a look.

. . .

I saw that someone turned the television on and a beetledrone was destroyed. "The Samurai!" I then heard something.

Mysterious Voice: ... Ooh, ooh
Ring, ring, ring, ring

... You don't hit my line no more, oh, oh
You don't make it ring, ring, ring, ring
I can't keep this on the low
I want you to make it ring, ring, ring, ring

... Should I call first? I can't decide
I want to, but a b- got pride
The switchin' up sh- is what I can't f- with
I'm feelin' you but you hard to get in touch with

... And you ain't hit me up in a while
Actin' like you don't know what number to dial
You quit, then that's it, I'ma throw in the towel
'Cause a n- only gon' do what you allow

Learn to text with your nose if your thumb broke
I don't care if we gettin' to it and I stall on your a-
But I still wake up to missed calls from your a-

You don't make it ring, ring, ring, ring
I can't keep this on the low
I want you to make it ring, ring, ring, ring

... Nah, n- now you gon' have to call me (Chorus: call me)
'Cause I'm lookin' at these messages, they all me (Chorus: yeah)
Actin' like they ain't n- that want me
Let another n- in your spot, and you gon' be hot n- coffee

... You gon' be sick to your, stomach
Hit me when you free, 1-800
It's emergency, call me 911
'Cause right now I'm out here tryna find someone

... The ring on my phone, ring on my finger (Chorus: brrr)
You actin' like you ain't tryna do either (Chorus: yeah)
Once a good girl, watch me turn diva
Here goes my heart, I put it on speaker (Chorus: oh)

... You don't hit my line no more, oh, oh
You don't make it ring, ring, ring, ring
I can't keep this on the low
I want you to make it ring, ring, ring, ring

... You used to be on my line
On my tick all the time, yeah
Love it when you make me feel
Like you don't mind when I ain't got time for you

... And no, it don't go to my head, I'm only arrogant in bed
I just love to know you wanna spend time with me instead
Now you all caught up, yeah
You all caught up and you done left me alone, yeah

... You was all fed up
Ready for the next step, wanna be on your own
Said I just miss you, I just miss us, baby
All I know is

... You don't hit my line no more, oh, oh
You don't make it ring, ring, ring, ring (Chorus: you don't make it ring, baby)
I can't keep this on the low (Chorus: yeah, yeah, oh)
I want you to make it ring, ring, ring, ring!

I then saw something coming out of a wall. She looked like a young woman whose face is hidden under her long black hair and she was wearing a white dress that has water stains on it that is also frayed at the end.

"Who are you," I asked.

"You will all pay for what he did to me," she said. She then left.

. . .

I decided to watch the tape again. Turns out, there was something on it, but for some reason, I did not see it before. I saw a young girl, then something grabbed her and threw her into a well. I then realized the young girl was the demon that is invading.

. . .

I was searching for the demon.

"Can you hear me," I asked.

"What do you want, servant of Aku?"

"What is your name," I asked.

"Why? Do you wish to curse it?"

"I just want to know who my enemy is," I said.

"Very well, I shall to you the name of the one who will kill you. I am Samiko Masaki."

"You were just a little girl when something threw you in a well," I said, "perhaps Lord Aku can help..."

Then Samiko attacks me.

. . .

Samiko and I started to fight. "Why are you doing this," I asked.

"Because you work for him," says Samiko.

"What are you talking about," I asked.

"Aku is the monster that threw me into the well!"

"What? No, he would never do that!"

"LIES!" Samiko continued to attack me.

. . .

We were then in another room. "My parents just asked for more food for our village," says Samiko, "but then Aku took them! I begged him to return them, but then he trapped me in that well!"

"Lord Aku is a benevolent ruler," I said.

"YOU'RE A LIAR!"

Samiko then levitates me and throws me.

. . .

"Lord Aku gave us the stars," I said.

"Aku is the Devil," says Samiko, "his name translates to Evil!"

"That... I never thought of that," I said.

"You are as evil as he is," says Samiko.

The fight then continued.

. . .

I kept trying to reason with her, but... what if she is right? The fight continued and then I crashed through a wall.

. . .

I got up and I found two corpses. They look like they have been tortured for years. Samiko then appears and... she falls to the ground and turns into the little girl in the tape and starts crying. I then realized these were her parents. I ran to her. "I'm sorry," I said.

"You really don't know, do you," asks Samiko.

"I had no idea," I said.

"Promise me you will never be him." Samiko then disappears.

. . .

"...and the tape was faulty," I said.

"That accursed video store," says Aku, "oh well, find me another one."

"Yes Sir." I walked away, but then I stopped. "Lord Aku, does the name Masaki mean anything to you?"

Aku then thinks about it. "Nope, doesn't ring a bell, why?"

"I guess I'm just being paranoid." I then walked away, knowing the real person I should not trust.
