Chapter 61: Jack and the Annoying Creature:
Jack's POV:
I was walking through the woods. I was going to meet up with Peter and Jill. I wonder if they spoke with their informant.
Jill's POV:
We were forcing a snake like creature to tell us where the time portal is.
"I don't know where it issss foressssay, but I know a guy who might know," he says.
"You better take us to him," I said.
Jack's POV:
I was walking, but then I tripped, and I realized I fell on a strange creature. It looked like a giant blue bear. It woke up and saw me. I then got up. I started walking, but then the creature started following me.
"Can I help you," I asked.
The creature seems to have taken a liking to me. Unfortunately, I have no time for this. I just hope Jill and Peter are having better luck then I am.
Jill's POV:
The snake took us to a turtle like creature. He was very slow.
"Sure... I... can... find... the... time... portal... It... it... located... in..."
"Hey Sheldon, wanna hear a ssssong," asks the snake.
"Sure," says Sheldon.
Snake: The lightssss go out, I am all alone
All the treessss outsssside are buried in the ssssnow
I spend my night danccccing with my own shadow

And I move sssslow and ssssteady
But I feel like a waterfall
Yeah, I move sssslow and ssssteady
Passsst the ones that I ussssed to know
And I'm never ready
'Causssse I know, I know, I know
That time won't let me
Show what I want to show
Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh

Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh!
Sheldon liked it. "That... was... good."
"Yes, he is very talented," I said, "but..."
"Hey... Jodie."
"Yes... Sheldon," says Jodie, another turtle creature.
"Want... to... hear... a... this... new... song?"
"Sure... Sheldon."
Jack's POV:
I was walking through the woods, but the creature was following me. I then found Jill and Peter.
"What have you got," I asked.
"A headache," says Jill.
"Jack... what is that," asks Peter.
They saw the creature. "It insists on following me," I said.
"Awe, it's so cute," says Jill.
"I suppose so, but it may be no help to us," I said, "and I doubt it knows much about martial arts." The creature then tries to look like a fighter. It fails.
"It seems to understand you," says Peter.
"So, at least it has some intelligence," says Jill.
"Where do we have to go," I asked.
. . .
Before we went on our journey, we were getting berries from a tree. As we were eating, the creature looks at us with a hungry look.
"Does it want to eat us," asks Peter.
"No, I think it wants some berries," says Jill.
"Very well," I said. We give it some. It is still hungry.
. . .
We tried to trap a deer. It came, but then the creature scared it off. An arrow from the trap then shoots the creature.
. . .
Jill and Peter then took me to the destination.
"The Crystal of Cagliostro," says Jill.
"It should allow us to return to our time," says Peter.
We then went on a journey and the creature was actually of big help. We then made it.
"I apologies for my attitude," I said, "you were actually quite helpful." That made the creature happy. "But once we find the crystal, we will have to return home, so this may be the last you will see us." The creature was then saddened.
We finally made it to the crystal, but when we got to it... the creature ate it.
"Did it just..." Peter begins.
"NO," I shouted, "that is it! Tomorrow morning, you are no longer welcomed to follow us!"
. . .
The next morning, we walked away from the creature as it slept. I heard its howling.
"I feel so sorry for it," says Jill.
"It is better this way," I said.
"I hear something," says Peter.
Robot bounty hunters came. We then got out our weapons and fought them off. They then took our weapons and had us chained down. Just as they were about to strike... the creature came and shielded us. Apparently, the creature is immortal. They could not kill it. This allowed us to get our weapons back and defeat the robots.
. . .
"Thank you, my friend," I said. The creature then hugged us.
"Can we keep it," asks Jill.
The creature then hears something and runs off.
"Where is it going," asks Peter.
"My guess is, it heard its family," I said, "one thing is for sure, he is a good soul."
Dr. Flug's POV:
5.0.5. then ran back to me.
"Where have you been," I asked, "I've been worried sick! Well, let's go. We have work to do." I don't know what 5.0.5. has been up to, but I'm just glad to have him back.
