Chapter 69: The Null Void:

Jack's POV:

Ben 10 and I were fighting Aku. Ben was in his Four Arms form. Aku took the shape of a minotaur with tentacles for arms.

"Fools," says Aku, "I shall end the both of you!"

"You have a serious ego," says Ben.

Aku then opens a portal. Could this be a way to send me further into the Future. It sucked me and Ben in...

. . .

Ben and I landed on a floating rock.

"Where are we," asks Ben.

I looked around. We were not in the Future. We were in another world. The Netherworld, perhaps?

"Look what we got here. The name's Mactar. Welcome to the Null Void."

Aku's POV:

I have done it! I have gotten rid of the Samurai! Now he and that annoying alien powered kid are trapped in the Null Void, and nothing will stand... oh! I just remembered the Samurai's friends have magic righteous weapons now. Darn. I suppose I will have to get rid of them now.

Jack's POV:

Ben and I were now trapped in this other world.

"What is this Null Void," I asked.

"Well, originally, it was supposed to be where the Galaxy's worst criminals are kept," says Mactar, "but now Aku uses it as a cosmic dumping ground for his garbage."

Ben and I then saw all the garbage.

"No kidding," says Ben.

"We must find a way out," I said.

Ben then turns back to his normal form. "This might complicate things," I said.

We then saw some flying creatures. "Null Guardians," says Mactar.

I found a use for them.

. . .

Ben and I were then riding some Null Guardians. There must be a way out.

Singer: I'm gonna need you to raise your glass
I don't care what you put in it
Here's to nights that you can't take back
We live hard but we love to laugh

We all thought that we'd get rich fast
Hop the plane out for greener grass
Found out the green is cash
Don't compare to the friends that last

See, we won't forget where we came from
The city won't change us
We beat to the same drum
No, we won't forget where we came from
The city can't change us
We beat to the same drum, the same drum

La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah
La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-doe
(Chorus: Hey) And no matter where we go
We always find our way back home

La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah
La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-doe
(Chorus: Hey) And no matter where we go
We always find our way back home

So, here's to the cheap sunglasses
Red Bull and minivans and
People who had your back when
The world didn't understand

See, we won't forget where we came from
The city won't change us
We beat to the same drum
No, we won't forget where we came from
The city can't change us
We beat to the same drum, the same drum

La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah
La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-doe
(Chorus: Hey) And no matter where we go
We always find our way back home

La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah
La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-doe
(Chorus: Hey) And no matter where we go
We always find our way back home

When ties loosen
We're losing touch
And fading away
We'll still be raising our cups
To the same damn things

Oh no, the city won't change us
Oh no, the city won't change us
Oh no, the city won't change us
Oh no, the city won't change us
Won't change us

La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah
La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-doe
And no matter where we go
We always find our way back home

La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah
La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-doe
And no matter where we go
We always find our way back home

La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah
La-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-doe
And no matter where we go
We always find our way back home

We always find our way back home
Yeah, we always find our way back home!

We then fell off our Guardians.

. . .

Ben and I landed on a rock where we saw a little gray man. He looked like Ben's Grey Matter form.

"Riding Null Guardians. Interesting. I wish I thought of that."

"Who are you," asks Ben.

"My name is Azmuth and I see you are wearing my Omnitrix."

. . .

Azmuth was telling us his story.

"I created the Omnitrix and when I learned that Aku had it locked up, I came to get it back, but then he imprisoned me in the Null Void. It's humiliating."

"I don't suppose you know how to get back," I said.

"I've been working on a machine that could open a portal back to Earth," says Azmuth, "but in exchange, I want my Omnitrix back."

"What," asks Ben.

"It was never meant to come to Earth," says Azmuth, "that was an accident, and I can't let it be on the wrist of a child."

"Ben has been a great help against Aku," I said.

"He is just a child," says Azmuth, "now, if you want to come with me, then I must have the watch back."

Ben and I looked at each other.

. . .

Azmuth makes the portal. "I just need to turn it on," says Azmuth. He does so.

"I guess that's it for me and this watch," says Ben.

The portal opens and we walk through.

. . .

We are now back in Aku's city, but then Aku came. "How did you two... oh, the little smart guy. That makes sense."

"How'bout we fight him first, then you can have the watch," says Ben.

"Agreed," says Azmuth.

Ben then turns into Heatblast and we take on Aku. Aku turns into a gorilla/rhino creature and attacks us. I started slicing at him and Ben throws fireballs at him. Aku then grabs us both and Ben spits out some fire in Aku's eyes. I then sliced his arms. Aku then decides to retreat.

Ben then turns back to normal. "So, you want the watch, right?"

"Actually, I changed my mind," says Azmuth, "you did really well with it. I'm impressed. You may keep the Omnitrix."

"Thanks," says Ben.

"We could use your help," I said.

"Maybe." Azmuth then walks away.

"Where's he gonna go," asks Ben.

"Where he chooses to go," I said.
