Chapter 71: Demencia:

Aku's POV:

I was sitting there, waiting then she came.

"Your master says that you can defeat the Samurai," I said, "if you do, you will be rewarded." She then left. I have my doubts, but let's see what she can do.

Jack's POV:

Jill, Peter, and I were in the Big City. Everything seemed peaceful... so far.

"What's everyone doing," asks Jill.

"I believe they are celebrating Clearance Day," says Peter.

Little Lisa Rental: Are we done here?

"They really like to pay half price," I said.

Then something attacked us. It was some kind of lizard creature.

"I'm guessing that's not part of Clearance Day," says Jill.

"Wait, that is a woman wearing a lizard costume," says Peter.

"The name's Demencia and Aku wants you dead!"

"Then bring it on," I said.

We got out our weapons and fought this Demencia. She is a wild one. Obviously mentally unstable, but we can defeat her... then she ran off.

"That was odd," says Jill.

"Agreed, I..." I then realized something. "She took our weapons!"

Aku's POV:

"You did not destroy the Samurai," I asked.

"Relax," says Demencia, "I took their weapons. I can use them against the Samurai and his friends."

"I tried that with the sword," I said, "they can only be used by good to slay evil, but if they are unarmed, then you can dispose of them!"

"This is going to be fun," says Demencia.

Jack's POV:

We began searching for this strange woman.

"Aku hires a lot of strange ones," says Peter.

"Can Dexter's robot help us," asks Jill.

MRK-9 began scanning for the mystical energies our weapons give out and gestures for us to follow him.

. . .

We were at the zoo.

"Be careful," I said, "she could be hiding around here somewhere."

We then began searching through the zoo. Then something leaped passed us. She was near. Then Demencia pounced MRK-9 and started tearing out his circuits. Jill then grabs a stick and hits her with it. Demencia then attacks Jill, but Peter hits her with a rock. I then grabbed a trash barrel, and I trapped her in it.

"Where are our weapons," asks Jill.

Demencia then breaks free and leaps away.

"She is not human," I said.

We started following the trail of destruction she left behind.

"How can someone be like this," asks Jill.

"I don't know," I said, "but we must stop her!"

. . .

We then found her.

"You want your weapons," asks Demencia, "then come and get them!"

She then leaped at us, and we tried to fight her off. She acted like a wild animal. Fitting that she would choose the zoo. I then remembered our training in Africa. When hunting an animal, one must think like an animal. I then ran off.

"Jack, where are you going," asks Jill.

"If he thinks he can run like a coward, he's wrong," says Demencia as she comes after me.

Demencia was searching for me, but I had traps planned for her.

"You think I'm going to fall for this obvious trap hole on the ground," asks Demencia. She then jumps over it... and ends up in my real trap, a cage falling from the ceiling.

I then jumped down. "Aku hires some strange ones," I said.

"I am doing this job for Aku, but I don't work for him. My beloved boss is far more evil!"

"There is an evil greater then Aku?" Me, Jill, and Peter all said in shock.

Demencia then breaks free and tries to attack me, but I was prepared, and darts are shot out of the walls, and they hit her, knocking her out. I then placed my hand on her and I saw that creature that tormented that family in that house. I then removed my hand. Demencia then disappeared.

Jill and Peter were able to recover our weapons and we were back at the lab where Dexter was repairing MRK-9.

"A greater evil then Aku," asks Peter.

"Things might be more complicated," I said.

Aku's POV:

"Your pathetic pet failed," I said.

"The Samurai got lucky," says Black Hat.

"Your organization is bad luck," I said, "I will no longer be doing any business with you!"

"You signed a contract, Aku!"

"Yes, but I spelled my name wrong, oops," I said sarcastically.

Black Hat looks and sees that I spelled my name with two 'c's'.

"That explains that," says Black Hat.

"Now, begone!"

"You will pay for this." Black Hat disappears.

That's what he gets for not coming to my reunions and for the constant failures.

In the next chapter, Jack and Ben have to save a kid and a talking monkey from Ashi, Heikin, and Fukaina.
