Okay, here's the news chapter of the story. As you may have noticed, I missed last week's chapter. I have realized that if I want to get this story done, I will need more time, so until then, I will be placing the story on hiatus and working on it behind the scenes. I completely respect all writers on the site, knowing that making a single story/chapter is as hard as waiting for a new one to be released. But anyway I hope you enjoy the story.

Steel against steel, flesh against metal, human(demon?) against android. Jaune arcs morning consisted of himself and a multitude of metal dummies; it was one Vs. Five, bringing up Tenken Jaune, blocked a sword strike from above as a Bot came from below with an axe; he lifted his leg, kicking it away just as he tricked up to dodge the spear-wielding bot. While in mid-air, a metal fist came from his right. Noticing it, Jaune launched a mirage blade toward the ground teleporting him away from danger.

Taking a breath, Jaune returned Tenken to its sheath and took a drawing stance, looking at the four Bots in front, each wielding different weapons. The one in front of him had a long sword. The bot next to it had a dual-sided battle axe. The one to its left had a pair of gauntlets while bouncing on its feet. The one behind them had a spear. Now, all that was missing was the fifth Bo-"!" tilting his head to the left, Jaune narrowly missed a bullet.

Glancing over to where the bullet came from, he sees the Bot further back of the arena. Clicking his tongue, Jaune finishes this quickly, knowing he must get to class soon. With a step forward, he appears on the other side of the arena with his back facing the wall, and in a single motion, he sheathed his blade back into its sheath. One by one, the bots fell to the floor, each turning into mincemeat or metal.

Getting up from his kneeling position, Jaune sighed. He knows he shouldn't waste his time here, but he couldn't get that dream out of his head. 'That dragon wasn't aiming to kill Dante and me. It seemed to have wanted to capture us, but somehow I got reincarnated instead.?.' Jaune couldn't understand how he regained his memories of the first and second life and why the three weren't entirely whole.

The chime of the school bell dismissed him from his thoughts "shit, I'm going to be late?!!!" he quickly rushed to the locker room to leave his weapon in his locker, then put as much aura and demonic energy into his legs as he sprinted outside of the room pushing to reach his class on time. Getting the final turn, he arrives right in front of his class, just as Team RWBY arrives simultaneously. "you too, huh." giving them smiling Jaune reaches for the door, opens it up, and lets them through.

No matter what era, chivalry still exists in any shape or form, or so his fathers tell him. "thank you." Ruby thanked him as she went by. The rest following their leader, thanked him as they walked by. After they went in, he followed suit, walking up to his team and sitting beside Pyrrha. She asked him where he had gone, but before Jaune could answer her, class started.

-40 minutes later-

"Beast of Destruction and Carnage - The Grimm." professor ports class was just as dull as he remembers. Not even his Vergil side could stand this amount of droning and boredom that is Professor ports class, and that's saying something since his time as Vergil shows that he at one point loved to learn new things and study to the point that he knew everything about a particular species plant or culture down to the minute detail but this, this was torture.

Sighing to himself, Jaune decided to look toward the rest of the class, hoping that anything could get his mind off what Professor ports ranting. That's when he noticed Ruby with her head down, sleeping. He smiled at that, seeing that he wasn't the only one tired of this class, although he also noticed Weiss annoyed expression. He raised an eyebrow, confused at what upset her.

"The huntsman has to wield this knowledge in battle if they hope to survive. That is why I decided to arrange a small test." walking past his whiteboards with drawings and info about the Grimm, Professor Port stood before red curtains—grabbing the curtains rope and pulling it to reveal a Boarbatusk. A Grimm that looked similar to a Boar from Vergil's world, although with many differences such as a bone-like mask strapped onto its face and plates along its backs and thighs, two extra tusks that include the two large curving tusks.

It grabbed everyone's attention. Surprises showed on everyone's faces as they wondered how Professor Port captured a Grimm and managed to bring it to class. As everyone questioned this, one student rose, wanting to take the test first. This student is Weiss Schnee. Smiling, Professor Port allowed her to leave and change into her combat attire, wondering how she would fair.

-Minutes later-

Weiss, now changed into her combat attire, stands before the Boar tusk. Now that he realizes it, Weiss is using a fighting style similar to the Terza Guard, a Guard used in rapier fencing. How does he know this? Mainly thanks to Virgil's insistence on learning just about everything in the world that even includes Weaponry that he's never used before. Jaune was happy that he remembered everything from his previous lives. Otherwise, he would have no idea how similar his last life was to the currents life world. It was odd, to say the least, but back to the test.

"Go get them, Weiss!" Yelling from above was Ruby cheering on her teammate. " represent Team RWBY! Yay!" "Be Quiet, Ruby." "Begin!" at his command, professor port started the test and released the Boarbatusk. With a yell of might, the Boarbatusk charged toward Weiss. Although slightly surprised, she was ready to block its charge. She enhanced herself with Aura while using its momentum to thrust it back into its previous position. "Its weak point is its belly! go low!" Annoyance flashed through her face as she glanced up at Ruby, who was yelling instructions.

"Stop telling me what to do!" As she barked back at Ruby, Weiss prepared herself by placing a glyph before her, stopping the Boarbatusk's charging rolling attack. Thrusting her Rapier through the glyph, she launched the Boarbatusk back. Weiss crouched and threw herself upwards, backflipping as the glyph appeared behind her. Using it as a LaunchPad, she ventured forward with a thrusting attack piercing the underbelly of the Grimm as it gnarled in pain. Once getting a good foothold, she grips her Rapier with both hands and thrusts down onto the Grimm, exploding it into black smoke and dust.

As Weiss kneeled, panting in exhaustion, Ruby yelled out to her excitement, happy that her teammate killed the Grimm. From what Jaune could remember, Weiss would not be as excited as Ruby. Even from his position, he could tell that Weiss was mad, and it seemed like Ruby could see it now as her smile left her

Back to what I mentioned at the beginning, I will put this on hiatus until I finish the story. I will be releasing it every Wednesday. Once finished, I hope to get some feedback on it while also rewriting any mistakes pointed out by you readers. So until that day, this story will be on Hiatus and will return once finished. Also, sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you have a great day and summer until next time, Folks. This has been Ryuu, your author.
