Episode 5: The Calm Before the Storm
Eltar, Zordon's Lab
Zoltar, still garbed in his Red Ranger suit, walks into the lab and says, "Hey! Zordon… Did you make any progress with the Morphers on getting out of these accursed suits? They are horrible! I can barely breath in this stupid helmet and the suit is horribly hot!" Zordon sighs, "Well… Of course they are! They were made in less than a hour! Once you all 'demorph' I'll work on that. Also will I have some possible ideas on how to demorph, I can't be sure that they will work given I don't have a Morpher or suit to actually test them out with it. Also sorry about the walk… Still need to work on figuring out a quicker form of transportation for you 'Rangers'."
Zoltar tilts his head, "Rangers eh… Like the Ranger Squads of the Pre-Enlightenment Era?" Zordon nods and Zoltar continues, "Interesting… Although did any of the news outlets get our battle in front of The Capital?" Zordon nods, "Yes they did. Awesome job morphing by the way." Zoltar flinches back slightly, "Did our faces get shown?" Zordon smiles, "Not fully. Your Morphers were creating a bright light that was covering your faces mostly from the cameras, also no I don't know why. I didn't include that feature. The best that the cameras could get before you were in the suits was your jaws and hair. I really loved the roll calls.
Zordon then starts to recreate the poses and does impressions of the Rangers, albeit with some mishaps. Zoltar at the end stops Zordon before he can start attempting to recreate the fight, laughing, "Ok! I get it. Geez! Can I see the actual news reports?" Zordon smirks, "Your going to have to wait until after the others get back. Also you'll want to bring that girl you saved here, the news has already started calling her 'The Power Rangers' Ally'." Zoltar sighs, "Ugh… Of course that'd be the case. Just help me get out of this damnable suit!" Zordon holds up his hands, smirking slightly and starts to tell Zoltar of the ideas.
Zoltar and Zordon are seen on opposite walls of the lab with various other stuff near them or on the floor and ceiling.
Zoltar is seen with his body all frozen up into a plank as he falls face first onto the floor with a loud thud and a muffled "Owwwwww…" being heard from him.
The camera is outside of the front door to the lab and Zordon is seen flying through the door, making a large hole, as Zoltar is heard shouting after him, "Sorry!"
Zordan is seen holding onto a lab table while Zoltar is seen covered in various items that are in the lab.
After the items fall off of him Zoltar sighs and just says, "I just want to power down!" Then suddenly the Ranger suit disappears. Zordan and Zoltar just look at the Morpher with a look of frustration. Zordon sighs, "Just hand the Morpher here. I'll figure out what's going on."
Zoltar stands up and says, "I am heading back to my place. I need to clean up and rest. It's been one interesting day for me." Zordon looks up and says, "Go to my place, your place is currently in a medical isolation zone. The Noxturn Empire had a ship crash there and it was leaking unknown chemicals into the ground and water." Zoltar nods, "Thanks." He then walks out.
Zordon sighs as he slides to the ground with his back on the wall, "I need a nap but…" He then looks at the Morpher and says, "I need to figure out what's going on with the Morphers…" He grabs the Morpher and attaches it to a viewing globe in order to see the code.
Eltar, Zordon's home
Zoltar walks in the front door and looks around, "Man… Zordon doesn't do anything by half measures… These walls are five times the required density of the Eltarian Assembly's house building requirements. He then walks into the bathroom.
Noxturn Imperial Fleet, roughly 30 light years away from Eltar
Fora walks onto the bridge and says, "How far are we from the planet?" The commanding officer turns around and says, "At our current speed we'll reach the planet in roughly 2800 hours from now." Fora nods, "Thank you Commander. I will go find a worthy opponent for my daughter and her new allies, these so-called: Power Rangers."
Outskirts of the Meledon Continent
Sabevy is running down the Millennium Sea Overpass from the Daito Continent. He slides to a stop midway on the overpass upon seeing the coastline of the Millennium Sea in ruins, "What the?! How many Noxturn Imperial Soldiers were sent here?!" He growls profoundly and rushes towards the coast.
Fifteen minutes later
Sabevy slides to a stop at the edge of the ruins and looks around before noticing a young girl of oceanic kitsune descend. She was roughly 1.216661016 meters tall with almond skin with amber fur on her wrists and hands. Her arms were lightly covered with amethyst fur that slowly transitioned into fuschia fur on her shoulders that met up with her ruby fur on her collarbone, her neck was covered in aquamarine scales that had ruby fur poking out in between the scales with the only exception to this rule being where her gills were. She was wearing an orange blouse with a goldenrod ribbon under her collar with a beautiful apatite in the center of the ribbon, her nadeshiko pink bell skirt is highlighted by lavender bike shorts that briefly show her lapis lazuli leg fur before meeting up with her lemon base with light coral stripes knee-high socks that are underneath lilac hiking boots. Her round face is slightly highlighted by a thin coat of mahogany fur that beautifully complements her almond skin with highlights her orchid lips and persian indigo eyes, which are beneath persimmon eyebrows and a purple navy hair that is perfectly highlighted with a ponytail and bangs that reach exactly 22.0472 centimeters. Sabevy softly walks over to the girl and bends down to be at eye level, as this happens a news vehicle and crew arrive on the scene and begin to film catching the attention of the planet and the universe with Sabevy and the girl unaware of the situation.
Daito Continent, Wisdom Lake Medical Center, Mahluh's room
Nickel, or Pink to Mahluh, and Mahluh are watching the news while Mahluh is calming down. The news anchor is speaking, "We are pleased to announce that we have breaking news towards the situation for the missing saviors of the planet, the Power Rangers! A film crew has found the Blue Ranger at the coast of the Meledon Continent and is currently comforting a young oceanic kitsune!" Nickel looks on in extreme interest while Mahluh watches in discomfort and distrust.
Coastline of the Meledon Continent
Sabevy reaches up to his helmet and removes the visor and reveals his face to the girl smiling, "Hey there… What's your name?" The girl looks at him with tears running down her face as a chain of explosions go off, causing her to jump into his arms, which reached around her. As she cried and screamed in fear, Sabevy whispered into her ear, "My name is Sabevy… I am the Blue Power Ranger, I won't hurt you... Please can you tell me your name?" As the two separate, the girl falls to her knees as she says, "I-I-What's a name?"
A long and tense silence flows over the area. Sabevy then places the visor back on his helmet and stands up. He looks around and sees a patroller on a search and rescue, he shouts to the Patroller, "Hey, stop!" The Patroller looks up and sees him stopping for a second before turning around and continues to move away from him. Sabevy is confused, along with the news crew. Sabevy runs to the Patroller with the news crew following him, "What is wrong with you?! You clearly heard me ask for you to stop, yet you continued to move!" The Patroller, an old Eltarian male roughly in his early elder years, stops and looks him in the visor, "Because I am not sure if I can help… I am just an old man, I am not trained or prepared for this kind of thing."
Sabevy removes his visor and smiles gently at the elderly Patroller, "Don't worry about it, want to help in the area?" After Sabevy replaces his visor, the Patroller weakly grins back at him, "Sure… I probably couldn't be of much help on my own anyway." Sabevy and the Patroller walk back to the little girl, upon reaching her they both kneel down. Sabevy says, "Hey there… This is…" The Patroller smiles at her and says, "My name is Stelios, I am a detective."
Coastline of the Meledon Continent
Sabevy looks at Stelios before saying, "Glad to be working with you, Detective Stelios." Stelios smiles and says, "No, it's my honor, Blue Ranger. If you require any help." Sabevy nods. Shortly afterward, an army of sirens is heard as a couple of hundred police, firefighting, and medical vehicles rush to the area. Sabevy sighs, and Stelios waves him towards the vehicles, "I got her protected while you handle the others." Sabevy walks towards the vehicles.
A man steps out of the closest vehicle and heads towards Sabevy. He is roughly around 176.784 centimeters tall with a heavily muscled body, which can be seen even through his heavy armored suit. As the two meet, he extends his hand to Sabevy, which is met by Sabevy's and says, "Hello, Blue Ranger. I am Captain Jiwan. I am here with the majority of the region's emergency services to gather information and help save people." Sabevy nods and sighs, "Good… I am going to be helping for a while."
The Noxturn Fleet
Fora sits in the command chair watching the screen in front of her with extreme calculating calm, "While the invasion order was never given to the scouts, I have gathered great information. Communications get me in touch with the Eltar Essmbly!"
