Elouise's Pov
The 6 of us where walking through the woods looking for a place to set up our camp "It's nice to get out of the city for a bit" Zayto admitted "This'll be great" I stated as laughed a Amelia tripping over a rock she didn't see "I love camping, the stars, the fire, the S'mores" Amelia listed "When we were kids Javi would always eat the marshmallows before we could make them glad he's grown up" Izzy told us "Yeah totally grown up" He agreed before throwing another marshmallow in his mouth I slowed down to walk in time with Javi before motioning for him to pass me one which he did before placing his finger on his mouth to tell me to keep it a secret as I ate it which caused me to laugh "Hey wanna see something cool" Ollie asked randomly bringing everyone's attention to him "Yeah" Amelia told him causing him to open his bag before pulling something out and turning it into a walking pole "It's a retractable walking pole" Ollie explained causing all of us to pull a face "Hm doesn't seem super necessary" Amelia informed him before a strange beeping sound went off "Woah Ollie your shoes are either super excited or they're signalling for help" I joked "Actually that means they're fully charged" Ollie revealed as he showed us his boots "My battery boots create electricity with every step" He explains "Why do you need electricity? we're camping" Zayto asked him "Oh you'll see" Ollie informed us making me slightly worried before we started setting up camp
45 minutes later
Me and Javi just finished setting up our equipment before heading over to Amelia when Ollie pulled out some Binoculars "Hey guys, I love my digital binoculars the zoom on these is insane" Ollie boasted "Is that so" Zayto asked "I also bought an electric chainsaw for firewood" Ollie told us as he pulled it out and turned it on "Handy" Izzy remarked "If he keeps going on about his tech its gonna end up being a murder weapon" I muttered which only Zayto and Javi heard causing both to chuckle "But this Jacket is my fave" Ollie told us as he pointed to the weird jacket on his body "It's got a ton of hi-tech functions, like this one" Ollie told us as he pressed a button on his sleeve which turned on 2 fans by his neck causing Izzy and Amelia to pull a face "See it cools me down when the Jacket gets too hot" Ollie pointed out "You could just take the jacket off" Zayto stated "But then I wouldn't look this awesome, whaddaya think?" Ollie asked "It's uh ... definitely a Jacket" Amelia tried "that's a lot of tech Ollie" Javi admitted awkwardly which made Ollie turn his tech off sadly "Uh camping should be simple like lying in a hammock with a guitar" Javi told him "Oh that's my remote controlled auto rocking hammock" Ollie explained causing me to groan "It's designed to lull you to sleep" Ollie informed us "Ollie no offense but all this stuff seems like total overkill" Izzy stated "Plus I seriously don't get why you need an auto rocking hammock I mean isn't that kinda lazy" I added "I'll give it a try" Zayto told him as he noticed Ollie was starting to feel sad "Oh cool hop in" Ollie told him excitedly as Zayto got in surprisingly quickly "Ah it's pretty comfy" Zayto admitted "Set the type of rocking you'd like" Ollie said while handing him a machine Zayto pressed a few buttons before the hammock started swinging slightly "Wow this is nice" Zayto smiled "See" Ollie cockily told us "Yeah let's see if it goes faster" Zayto wondered as he turned it up "Uh woah Oh" Zayto yelled as the hammock sped up "Ollie turn it of" Amelia told him "I can't" Ollie stated as the ropes on the hammock broke and the hammock launched forward falling on the floor causing 5 of us to run over "Zayto you good?" I asked as Myself and Izzy helped him up "I'm fine but I might steer clear of any more gadgets the rest of the trip" Zayto told us "Okay but don't come crying to me when you want to use my solar-powered nail clippers" Ollie warned us as he stormed off "I'll go make sure he's okay" Amelia stated as she walked over to him "How about we go get some sticks" Zayto suggested "Sure" Izzy shrugged as we headed off "I'm the king of pick-up-stick" Javi jokingly bragged as we headed into the woods which caused Izzy to roll her eyes and myself and Zayto to laugh
15 minutes later
"See I told you I'm the king of pick up sticks" Javi told Zayto as we were looking for more sticks "Good then you can take mine" Zayto told him as he went to place his stack on Javi's causing him to move a away "Just kidding" Zayto laughed "You know I could carve this firewood into a pretty good javelin" Izzy told me making the boys chuckle "Now it's snagged" we heard a familiar voice say "Don't blame me blame the tree" Another familiar voice responded "Pretty sure I know that voice" Izzy stated as Zayto brought his communicator up to his face "Hey guys we have a problem, come join us" Zayto informed the pair "Well you two have been asking about void knight it's time for you to meet him" I told Javi and Izzy just as Amelia and Ollie teleported in "Fools it won't activate till it reaches a certain height" We heard Void knight groan "Don't worry I'll just toss Mucus up there" The sporix reassured Void knight "You'll do what know?" Mucus worriedly asked "Yeah throw her up there but if you miss I want a turn" Zayto taunted "No one invited you rangers go back to your camp and roast some marshmallows" Mucus moaned "We can't I ate them all" Javi admitted causing Izzy to hit him "Looks like the only thing getting roasted is you" Amelia threatened "Link to morphing grid" The 6 of us chorused "Well if that's the way you wanna play it, Hengemen" Void knight yelled summoning the hengemen to attack us as we all charged each taking on a group of hengemen "Too easy, Who's next" I heard Izzy sarcastically ask as I roundhouse kicked a hengemen into a group of them knocking them all down "Hengemen bowling my favourite" I laughed before flipping out of the way of an attack heading my way "Almost free come on big stick" Mucus said to herself as she tried to hit the balloon out of the tree "Hurry up Mucus" The sporix yelled "What's that balloon for?" Zayto asked as he fought with Void knight "You'll see!" Void knight taunted "Poke-a, Poke-a, Poke-a" Mucus said as she continued to poke the balloon as it became unstuck "Ha, Ha I did it!" Mucus celebrated before turning to Void knight "who's useless now?" Mucus continued "Quiet we need to go" Void knight informed her as the 3 teleported out so we decided to demorph as we all looked up at the balloon "What do you think it does?" Zayto asked just before the balloon activated sending some kind of energy wave across the woods "Well whatever it does, It just did it" Javi stated "We need to find out what it is, Let's head back to base and see if Solon picked anything up" Ollie suggested we all nodded before trying to teleport to base only for it to not work "I can't teleport" Zayto pointed out "Newsflash- none of us can" Izzy remarked "Solo somethings going on with our teleport tech" Ollie said into his communicator but only received static in return "Solon?, Hello?" He asked but received static again "Our comms are down" Ollie stated "I'll call the old-fashioned way let me grab my phone" Amelia told us as we headed back to the campsite where Amelia got her phone out "Hmm" She mumbled as she held her phone up to the sky "I had signal earlier" Amelia revealed "Even our phone are blocked" Javi announced as he also tried his phone "Well at least we know what the balloon does now" I stated "If we can't teleport Void knight has the whole city to himself along with any sporix he can find" Ollie pointed out "And if one hatches, there'll be no one there to stop it" Zayto added "We're miles from the city, we can't do a thing from out here" Amelia groaned "We'll have to walk to pine ridge" Zayto said as he grabbed his bag "That'll take hours" Amelia groaned again as Ollie took his shoe off "Then we better get going, come on guys it's a long hike" Zayto told us as we started towards the city "Hang on" Ollie called out stopping us "I may have a better idea" Ollie tried "You realized that boots don't need batteries? Mind officially blown" Amelia joked "No with all this tech I could build a gadget to take down the balloon" Ollie informed us "For real?" Izzy asked "Totally, I'm sure I can cobble something together. These batteries from my boots are a good power source, and there's also a -" Ollie tried again "Swiss army jacket and a whirling hammock?" Izzy interrupted as Amelia agreed "I don't think that's gonna work" Javi added "Come on guys it worth a shot" Ollie asked us "Hold on Ollie might have something here" I stepped in "I'm sorry Ollie but we don't have time for you to invent something walking is a sure bet let's get moving" Zayto said as Amelia, Javi, Izzy and himself started walking again "Wait" Ollie called once again stopping the group "I don't have any other shoes" Ollie admitted "Seriously, So you can't walk back with us?" Amelia asked "Uh no but I can stay here and work on my device while you head for the city" Ollie suggested "I'll stay too it'll be quicker with two of us" I added "Well it's not like we have a choice" Zayto stated as he walked off "Have fun with your franken-device if it works" Amelia told us as she walked off "Yeah, Thanks" Ollie called out as we got started on the device
Amelia's Pov
We had been walking for about an hour and 25 minutes "Are you sure this is the path" I asked Izzy "Yeah I recognize this tree" Izzy assured me as she pointed at a tree next to us "We're making progress but we better pick up the pace" Izzy added "You good?" I heard Javi ask Zayto from behind "Yeah" Zayto assured as he and Javi picked up the pace and caught up to Izzy and myself "Shouldn't we be at pine ridge by now" I asked the group "I think we're about to be, It's just around the corner" Zayto informed us "Last one there is a rotten egg" Izzy called out as the 4 of us raced off and around the corner only to arrive at the campsite "Oh are you serious" Javi complained "We just walked in a big circle" Izzy groaned "What a waste of time" I mumbled as Elouise and Ollie got ready to throw some kind of arrow "Go, Go hyper arrow" Ollie yelled as he launched the arrow at the balloon only to miss "Fuck" We heard Elouise yell "At least the concept works we just need more thrust" Ollie reassured her "Woah you made that?" I asked the pair "Yeah but - Hold on why aren't you guys in the city" Ollie wondered "Well we thought we we're making big progress. turns out..." Javi started only for Elouise to cut him off "They got lost" She laughed "We made a big loop" Zayto admitted "Ollie we shouldn't have left you, you two are really on to something here" Zayto added "Yeah that arrow was super impressive went pretty far" I Praised them "You think so?" Ollie asked us "Your high-tech gear didn't seem like it'd be useful, but we were totally wrong" Zayto apologized "Thanks guys" Ollie smiled "So what's the next step with your arrow?" I asked "All it needs is a boost at launch" Elouise informed us as Ollie turned and grabbed his electronic chainsaw "Grabs some logs and branches we'll shape them with my chainsaw" Ollie told us "Shape them. What for?" Izzy asked the two "You take history, right? think medieval crossbow" Elouise informed her "All right we're on board." Javi told her "See if you can find the hyper arrow" Ollie told me I snapped my fingers at him before taking off my backpack and headed off to start searching
Javi's Pov
"Hey this'll be great for thanksgiving if dad cooks again" Izzy joked as she sawed the end of a branch off "Dad's turkey ain't that tough" I laughed "Find something strong to use as a bow string" I heard Ollie tell Zayto "Bowstring" Zayto echoed as we all walked over to Ollie and Elouise who were adding the string Zayto found to the crossbow "Here's the arrow" Amelia said as she handed the arrow over to Ollie "All lined up to hit the Balloon" Elouise said as she finished altering the crossbow "Ok hyper arrow just fly in that direction and take that down" Ollie said to the arrow as he put it in the crossbow "Uh is he pep-talking the arrow?" I asked Elouise "Yeah he's been doing every try" She laughed "and it's kind of adorable" Amelia added causing Elouise to smirk "Right let's pull" I said before me and Elouise grabbed the string and pulled it back so that it attached to the latch "And now" Ollie called out making me and Elouise let go and the 6 of us watched as it hit the balloon destroying it causing us to cheer "You two did it" Zayto praised Ollie and Elouise "Don't look at me it was Ollies idea" Els pointed out "We did it together" Ollie smiled as our comms beeped "Our comms are back on, Solon can you read me" Zayto asked into his communicator "Oh rangers! Thank goodness the networks been down all day" Solon informed us "Yup, it was Void knight" Zayto confirmed "Oh figures, the hotlines flooded. Void knights hunting for sporix in the city" Solon explains "We're on our way" Zayto stated "Sending you his location now." Solon told us before cutting the comm link and teleporting the 6 of us away
Elouise's pov
"huh" Void knight exclaimed as we teleported into the city "Uh-oh we have company" The sporix beast Roostafa moaned "Hey Roostafa why'd the chicken cross the road?" Zayto asked "To get to the other side - duh" Roostafa laughed "Is that how that earth joke goes?" Zayto asked causing all of us to mumble a yes "I thought jokes were meant to be funny" He stated "Usually but that one? not so much." Ollie told him "You know what else isn't funny? hengemen!" Void knight called out "It's morphing time" Zayto yelled "Dino fury key, activate link to morphing grid" We all chorused while doing the morph "Dino fury power" We called out as we posed "it's been real but that's my cue to scram" Mucus stuttered as she ran off "Hengemen attack" Void knight commanded making them charge at us with Javi and Izzy fighting Void knight and Roostafa and the rest of us dealing with the horde of Hengemen who separated the 4 of us from being able to help each other as I slashed one of the hengemen I noticed Zayto, Ollie and Amelia using boost keys I decided to use to the shield key "Boost key - ready" I announced as I activated the key using the shield to block an attack before quickly stabbing the hengemen who tried to attack me "Time for a growth spurt" Roostafa announced as he grew "Cock-a-doodle-whoo-hoo!" Roostafa laughed "Thats a big bird" Zayto stated "Nooo really" I sarcastically told him "Hey guys we'll deal with Roostafa" Zayto told Izzy and Javi as they fought Void knight "Leave void knight to us" Izzy assured us "Time to take him down" Javi told Izzy as they both charged at Void knight "Solon, send in the T-rex zord" Zayto asked "Plus Tricera!" Ollie added "and Ankylo!" Amelia asked "Dinomigo zord as well please " I finished "Zords Combine" The 3 called out at the same time I called out "Dinomigo zord megazord transformation" Activating the megazord mode "Ready to show him who rules this roost?" Zayto asked us "He's about to be all out of cluck" Ollie tried causing me to cringe as we both charged at the sporix kicking and slashing at him before the sporix flew up towards the sky "Beak blast" Roostafa yelled as he sent a purple blast towards the 2 megazords before flying up to the sun and getting ready to fire again "The megazords won't survive those laser blasts." Ollie informed us "I know what we need" Zayto said as he bent out of the way of my comms camera "Shift to fortress formation" I heard Zayto command as the 3 zords transformed into a sort of tank as Roostafa fired at them as I rolled out of the way while the tank took all of the blasts after I managed to out dodge the blasts I noticed the stego and tiger zords attacking the beast and knocking him down "Are we in time for dinner we heard it fried chicken" I heard Javi say over the comms "Sure we just need to heat it up" Zayto taunted as the 5 zords connected into the dino fury megazord warrior formation "Let's pound this birdbrain" Ollie said over the comms as we all got ready to attack only for the sporix to fly back up to the sun "He's gonna strike again" Izzy called out "Not if we take him out" Amelia stated "Mega fury sabre" Zayto called out summoning the sabre as I distracted the sporix "Dino fury megazord" The 5 chorused "Dino mega slash" Zayto called out as he slashed down destroying the sporix "Woah we clipped his wings" Zayto celebrated "Dino fury victory" The 6 of us cheered "Now to find Roostafa's sporix" Zayto said over the comms causing us to teleport down to the ground where Mucus was looking for the sporix "Where'd you go" Mucus said to herself as the sporix hit the ground "There you are little sporix friend" Mucus spotted as she began running over only for me to race over and grab it "Not so fast" Ollie told Mucus "Aww no fair" Mucus whined before teleporting out and we teleported to the base to put the sporix away
Ollie's Pov
After putting the sporix away we decided to go camping again but I quickly got jackets for the others to give too them before we headed to the camp sight "I know what you're thinking where are the sleeping bags am I right?" I asked the group "Yeah cos we've been asking you that for an hour" Izzy laughed "It's called building anticipation." I countered causing the group to chuckle "Here" I said as I pulled out a jacket for each of them "More jackets?" Amelia asked as I threw a jacket towards her and Izzy before giving 1 to Zayto "How does that help?" Zayto asked looking at the jacket as I gave the last 2 jackets to Elouise and Javi "Get ready, I'm gonna show you" I told the group as they put the jackets on and I pressed a button which made the jacket form a sleeping bag around me "Cool, so what do I do. just press this?" Izzy asked as she went to press the wrong button causing a life raft to form around her "No that's the life raft button" I yelled as she pressed it "Woah" Izzy said as she waddles forward before tripping over and rolling down the hill "Izzy" Javi yelled as he ran after her with the others following and me hopping after them when the life raft popped and deflated "Izzy, you ok?" I yelled over to her as she stood up and glared at me "Am I ok?! I was screaming for my life" She yelled at me causing me to wince "I'm great" She laughed "You guys gotta try this" Izzy told us causing us to start laughing.
