am sorry about the long wait I got things to take care of and College that is started last week but here it is the next Chapter
I did not know it going to take few weeks to upload this chapter am sorry for the long wait but if you have been watching my Profile you would of seen me changing the due date of the chapter sorry about that but enough of that here is Chapter 9 of Dark Tails
chapter 9
Tails was flying in his X-tornado towards the park but while he was flying somehow he was confuse
" what going on I should be at the park by now" thought Tails
but after few more mintues of flying instead of going to the park he was going to
'what Angel Island why did i came here, unless i took the wrong way' thought tails "hm if i did i need to turn around" said tails
Tails made a big turn around and fly back to Sonic place to see what went wrong, but while he was flying Tails felt a strong sharp pain on his chest making him lose control of his plane "rrrrr the pain it hurts b-but w-why does i-it h-h-hurt" question tails
Tails is trying his best to gain control of the plane since the X-tornado is heading stright toward a Mountain
" i-i-i g-got to c-c-c-control m-my pl-plane" said tails in pain
but the pain of his chest was gone and Tails gain control made his plane turning left almost missing the Mountain few inches
"that was close" said Tails sighing relief
but Tails use his left hand to touch his chest where the pain was at since it was gone
'what was that all about' thought Tails 'and where did the pain came from' question Tails
trying to find out where did the pain came from and why did just go away automatically
"i better go see a doctor tommorow, but for now my frineds are waiting for me" said tails
After a few mintues of flying Tails saw his school coming in a point of view, but then he realize something
'huh now i know why i went to angel island' thought tails
Tails found out that he took the right turn of his school instead of going the left, Tails face palm his forhead finding out his mistake
'what wrong with me, i use to be good at directions ' thought tails ' maybe am tired or something'
Tails turn the other direction passing his school to turn left towards the park where all his friends are waiting for him
"i bet right now that all my friends are worried about me " Said Tails " excpt for Knuckles i bet he is mad right now"
with that said Tails fly towards the park, but Tails does not know there is someone in the parking waiting to see him
(meanwhile at the park)
Everyone was looking at the Dark Green fox name John, everybody did not say a word but they have question that they want to say to him, Finally Knuckles broke the silence
"so you came back" question knuckles
"yes i came back" answer John
"back from doing what" question knuckles
"i came back from training to become strong for the Prower family" answered again John
"you mean Tails right?" question cream
"that is correct young lady " answered John again
"how do we know your not working for Dr. Eggmen, do you got provef" question Shadow
John look at Shadow and sigh he reach into his Duster Jacket pocket and took out his wallet, John open his wallet and took took out a small picture of Himself with David by his side carrying baby tails who happen to be few weeks old and show it to everybody
"is that you Mr John" question Cream
"yes that was me and David when tails was bearly a baby" answered John
John put the photo back to his wallet, after that he put his wallet back to the Duster Jacket pocket, after he put up his wallet John look at Sonic
"thanks sonic" said John
but Sonic was confuse
"your welcome" reply Sonic "but um for what" question Sonic
"for taking care of tails when i was away" answerd juan
"How did you know i was watching over Tails" question Sonic
"let just say i know my ways to get infomation, lets leave like that" reply John
but John sigh and nodded his head
"its it true Sonic" John pause for a momment " that Mrs. Rose is really dead" question John
Sonic look at his friends and they nodded their heads yes to tell them the truth, Sonic nodded his head and look at John and sigh
"its true John, Rose is really dead" reply Sonic
John nodded his head and look away, he heard that Rose Prower died but he did not want to excpt it until he see if it true
'dang it i guess i was to late' thought John
John went to the Prower family house one day, few days after the Destroyed house was gone, John went where he build it 16 years ago but found out it was gone or not their
"tell me how did she died" question john looking at Sonic
everybody look at each other then back at John, if they tell him what happened John might get upset or worse rampage
"Well Dr. Eggmen"sonic started but he was cut of by John
"WHAT WHAT DID HE DO" yelled out John,
Sonic look down at the grass and sighed but then look up at John again
"we do not know what happen" reply Sonic "but all we know that Dr. Eggmen destoryed the house while Rose might be inside"
"how do you know it was Dr. Eggmen" question John
"one of the cops found a piece of a Robot part" reply Sonic "and we dont know anybodoy who build Robots other then Dr. Eggmen, So it got to be him"
John nodded his head and put his left hand under his chin to think
'am actually to late, but Sonic said Rose might be dead, so she must be alive' thought John "did you and your friends look all over for Mrs. Rose " question John everybody nodded yes
"we look all over for rose the next day of the destoryed building but we did not find her... we all thought she died by the house being distored by
eggman" answerd Sonic
John's hands turn to fits but he relax and calm down he didnt say anything he just turn around and look at the sky
'damn you Dr. Eggmen, one day you will pay for what you did to Mrs. Rose' thought John
but Cosmo came up to John tab him in the shoulder making him snap out of his thoughts and look at her
"can i see the photo again" question Cosmo
"which photo" question John
"the photo of you, David and Tails please" question cosmo again
" oh of course" answered John
John once again took out his wallet open it up and took out the photo again and give it to Cosmo who she happly grab it and look at it, but John was confuse of why this girl want to see the photo again
'i wonder if this girl has liking of Master Tails' thought John
'awww tails look so cute in the photo awww' thought Cosmo blushing
'this young lady just blushed right now maybe she has feelings of Master Tails, let test that theory' thought John
"from the look on your face its seems you like Master Tails" said John
Cosmo blushed a little harder and look at John
"how did you know" question cosmo
" well for once your blushing" answered John
that made Cosmo turn away and trying to hide her blushing face, Sonic and his friends laughed (excpt for Shadow and John) seeing their friend Cosmo trying to hide her blushing face
"well that one way to find out your feelings towards Tails" said Sonic
Cosmo ignore Sonic she know what he was trying to do but might as well say it anyways since the cat is out of the bag (but few friends know about this)
"but i do like him though" said cosmo
that made everybody stop laughting even Sonic, Cosmo give back John's photo
" oh so you like young master Tails " question John
he put up the photo inside his wallet and he put his wallet away
" yes i do, i have a crush on him" replay cosmo
" really for how long, may I ask" quesiton again John 'well seem to me this young lady has feelings for young master Tails' thought John
while Cosmo is trying to think of a reply, John oh the other hand has so many things in his mind that he did not show it around everyone, John is depress that after 16 years of training so many things have happen when he was away
'16 years since i left to train to become strong for the Prower family... And look what happen i miss so many years of Tails life, and Mrs. Rose is dead' Thought John ' I feel bad for Master Tails since he had nobody to take care of him' John sigh ' and I just found out few days ago that Mrs. Rose was dead"
but John train of thought was snap when Cosmo reply to John question
"2 months i realize that i have a crush on him" answered again cosmo 'and that i almost kiss him too'
"oh ok" said John
" but i want to tell him how i feel but am too scared" said cosmo "that i will get rejected"
Cosmo got upset but Cream saw this and walk up to her and put her left hand on her right shoulder, Cosmo look at Cream who has a smile on her face
" dont worry cosmo you will tell him" said Cream
" but what if he does not have the same feelings as me" question Cosmo
"dont be so negative cosmo" ansered Amy
"Ms. Amy is right Cosmo, if you think more of the positive side chance are you will successed " said John
'how does John know my name' thought Amy
Cosmo is so confuse of what John said, Sonic laughed and he try to expained
"i think John is trying to say that if you have hope you will find out that Tails like you back" explained Sonic
"oh i get it now" said cosmo "i will try to tell him how i feel"
"that the spirit Cosmo" said Amy
"yeah and beside i bet you right now that he share the same feelings as you" said Sonic
"really" question Cosmo "but how do you know Sonic"
"I think because you and Tails are hanging out so much that i belive Tails has a liking to you" Said Cream
"um yeah its because he my best friend and i try my best to be there for him" said Cosmo "that what best friends do right"
"that right and i bet you two do something together when you two are alone" said Amy teasing Cosmo
That made Cosmo blush a bit more and wave her hands randomly
"t-t-t-that not t-t-true" mumble Cosmo
"oh really darling then why are you blushing" question Rouge
now Cosmo is red as a tomato and look away trying to hide her blushing face, Everybody excpt Shadow and John laugh of what happen, once the laughter calm down Knuckles saw something up in the sky he nodded his head and pointed his fits up in the sky
"speaking of tails here he come now and late why late" said Knuckles
'young master Tails is coming' thought John 'cant wait to see him after these long years'
16 years of training and John is excited to see Tails, even though he does not show it around everyone here, he is excited to see him again. Tails landed his X-Tornado few feet away from his friends after the engine shut down slowly the Cotpit open and Tails jump out of his plane and landed saftly at the ground and walk up to them
"hey everyone sorry am late i took the wrong turn" said Tails apolozasing
"that ok tails" said Cream
"yeah dont worry about it" said Charmy
"don't worry about it Tails" said Amy
"but am not" said Knuckles everybody look at him "you took almost an hour and you said you took the wrong turn that the lamest excuse I ever heard"
"hey Knuckles, Tails said he was sorry so chill" said Charmy
"yeah Knuckle head, he said he was sorry so chill out" said Sonic
"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME" question yelled knuckles
"hmp that a good name for you" said Shadow
"HEY NOBODY CALLS ME KNUCKLE HEAD" yell knuckles
"yeah you are always a Knuckle head always do things first then ask question later" said sonic
"WELL LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING-"
Knuckles is yelling at Sonic Shadow and Charmy but Cream stay too since she want to stay with her Boyfriend, while the others went to the park to leave Four of them alone to talk about.
(The Park)
The Park is called Mobiles park and its a big park too it has Two Playgrounds, Three swiming pools, a big lake where the ducks live and you can feed them, few swings big and small, and a big hill that everyone can slide down
all of Tails friends went to there separate ways at the park Tails and Cosmo are walking around the secound playground, cheese is flying everywhere having fun waiting on Cream to come back since she sent Cheese to play at the park so she wont cry because of the yelling, Rouge is waiting for Knuckles on the other playground, and Amy is at the lake waiting for Sonic to come back from the yelling knuckles and John who at the hill laying down near a tree, he is taking a nap and sometimes John open his eyes to keep an eye out for Tails since he is the protector of the Prower family. Few mintues later Knuckles Sonic Shadow Cream and Charmy came back from the yelling knuckles and all of them went to there separate ways, but tails somehow he is curious about this Dark Green fox he seen few mintues after he arrived, Tails does not know who he is so he ask Cosmo
"hey cosmo who is that fox" question tails
Tails pointed at John, Cosmo look where Tails is pointed at and reply
"his name is John" answer Cosmo" He told us that he know your parents and you, also he is the protector of the Prower family"
"really he know me and my parents " question tails "but does he know that my mom died" question tails
cosmo stop walking and so does tails cosmo look at tails
"well at first he didnt know until Sonic told him, John got mad but" cosmo took one breath and continue" he calm down a bit"
Tails walk up to Cosmo and the next thing he know Cosmo hugged Tails surprising , he was shock and blushed at the same time, but Tails was wondering why she acting this way
"its must of hurt when your parents are not around" said Cosmo
Tails didnt say anything he just stay silence for a while so Cosmo can continue
"i sometimes wonder what it feel like if i dont have my family around" said Cosmo "because i can feel your pain in my heart...it feel like ... i been there before"
she hugged Tails little tighter she wanted to cry but she does not want to
"i can see the pain in your eyes when ever you look at me" said Cosmo " i can see pass your fake smile when ever you pretend to smile at me or our friends"
Cosmo let go of Tails to look at him in his eyes, Tails can see Cosmo that she wanted to cry even though she has her parents,but somehow she can feel the pain in her heart that Tails has nobody in the family, yes he has his friends but losing all of your family memebers is diffrent then losing your firends
"i sometimes ... wonder if am ... helping you ... and, and"
Cosmo Stop her sentince when Tails grab her left arm and pull her into a hug, Cosmo was shocked to see this she can feel Tails hugging her tightly but not hard enough to hurt hurt
"you are my best friend i can ever had" Started Tails " you help me a lot Cosmo, dont ever think otherwise" said Tails
Tails let go of Cosmo to look at her in the eyes
"i know i lost my parents but i still have my friends and especially you Comso" Said Tails
"Me" question Cosmo
Tails smiled and nodded his head yes
"you help me a lot Cosmo and i thank you for trying your best to make me feel better" said Tails
Cosmo and Tails hugged each other again, Cosmo is trilled that she is helping Tails from moving on of his mother death and Tails is happy to have a friend like Comso she help him alot ever since his mother died and Tails is thankful for that, Cosmo and Tails let go of each other and for some reason they blushed at the same times, without thinking they both look at the same location they are looking at John, Tails was wondering why did his mother never mention John before and how long John was gone
"i wonder how long John was gone" question Tails
"John told me and our friends that he was gone since you where a baby" reply cosmo
"really but do you know how long he was gone" question tails
"i belive about 16 years" replay cosmo
"what 16 years he was gone and i didnt know him until now" said tails
"you where just a baby Tails, when John was gone" said cosmo
"i know Cosmo, but why did my mom didnt tell anything about John" said Tails "is it a serect or is it something that i have to wait until the right time"
"i dont know Tails" reply Cosmo "but if you want your question answered, why not tell John yourself"
"that a good idea Cosmo, i will just do that" Said Tails
"speaking of John, here he comes right now" said Cosmo
Tails didnt say anything but to see John getting up from the grass hill and he is walking towards Tails and Cosmo, it didnt took long for John reach up to Tails and Cosmo and once John is few feet away from Tails and Cosmo, he been down in one knee and bow his head using his left arm on his chest, as a respect
Tails look at Cosmo who she look at Tails confuse of what going on, nobody not even one animal did that before, Tails does not know what to say or how to react to something like this
"hello master Tails" started John "its been what 16 years that i seen you last"
"master tails" question tails
"why yes Master Tails" answered juan
"um this is a dumn question but why am i your Master" question tails
'um tails i think i told you that' thought cosmo
"well if you didnt know am your guardian or should i say your protector " answered John
"your my protecter" question Tails
"yes i protected your family ever since before you where born" answered John
Tails did not know what to say, he just confuse his mother did not tell him about this Guardian or Proctecter, was it a secret or did his mother forgot about him, it could be since John was gone 16 years but he came back, but was his mom going to tell Tails sooner or later, or was is mother going to keep this a secret from him, thinking about his mom got him upset but did not show it
John look up to see tails out of this world so he got up, John know that Tails got so many things in his mind but John didnt say anything so he didn't say anything, but Cosmo can see that Tails is something wrong maybe because so many things are happening at once
"what wrong tails" question cosmo
"its nothing Cosmo" answered Tails "i was just thinking about my mom again"
"i know you miss her Tails" said Cosmo " but dont forget what i said before"
"i know Cosmo, your advice always bring my mood up but" Tails getting a little mad "Eggmen took her away from me"
"But Tails I-"
but Cosmo stop herself from say something because she was specchless and she does not know what to say to him, She feel bad for him Tails lost all of his family and Cosmo does not know how to cheer him up like she usually does
John on the other hand he saw Tails upset, John did not say a word but he saw Tails hands turning into fits John back away few feet because he can tell that Tails is getting mad
"am going to get my revenge" said Tails
"w-w-what" mumble Cosmo
"He is going to pay for what Eggmen did" replay tails "am going to kill him"
"you will do not such thing" said John
"YES I WILL" snap Tails " am going to get my revenge"
"Master Tails as much as i want to end Eggmen, but getting revenge will not sovle anything" Said John
"Y-y-you dont u-u-understand, E-E-Eggmen took a-away" but Tails did not finish but he went down on his knees and put his right hand on his chest holding it tight, Cosmo act quickly and she went on her knees to check is he okay
"tails are you ok" question cosmo
"t-t-t-the p-p-pain it h-h-hurt" mumble Tails
"master tails were does it hurt" question John
John stop what he was saying and saw Tails changing color, Cosmo got up and back away few feet
"what happening to him" question cosmo
"i dont know" answered John "Cosmo i want you to bring everybody here" order John
"why" question Cosmo "but what about tails" quesiton cosmo
"i will stay here, but as for you i want you to go and get your friends and bring them here" said John
"Okay i will be back" said cosmo
she left to find all her friends and bring them back here, but John on the other hand stayed and seeing tails change color, Tails orange fur change to dark black fur and tails white fur change to dark red fur, his eyes turn to dark bloodly red, but tails have dark red trangles on his checks one is on the left and the other on the right, also he has dark red trangles on his back of his hands one from the left and one from the right
'this does no look good' thought John 'what happend to you Master Tails'
"i have return" said a deep voice
John look a few feet back and put his left and on one of his swords
"who are you" question John
Tails look at John and had a evil Smile on his face
"my name is dark tails" answered dark tails
"dark tails?" question John
"yes, the dark side of tails" ansered dark tails
'what how' thought John "bring master tails back" Order John
dark tails laughed and nodded his head no
"i cant do that" said dark tails
"than why not" question John
"i just got back from the weak low life tails" answered Dark Tails
"you better bring master tails back" Said again John
"but Tails is not here" said Dark Tails
"what do you mean" question John
dark tails just laughed and pointed at John
"lets just say he no longer in this world" answered dark tails
'no, it cant be younger master can not be Dead he just cant' thought John "i ask you once and i will ask you again bring back master tails now" yelled John
dark tails laughed and nodded his head no he return his arm back and smiled
"if you want normal tails back" dark tails pointed at John again "youll have to fight me" said dark tails
"Fine is that how is going to be then" said John
John took took out both of his sowrds and got ready for the fight of his life, Cosmo came back with all of her friends, everybody was surpise to see tails like this, but Shadow and Sonic look at each other then back at Dark Tails and John
"what going on" question Amy
"yeah and who is that"question Charmy
Charmy pointed at the Dark fox that nobody ever seen before, everybody is asking question telling who is that Dark fox that John is going to face, But Sonic and Shadow know what going on and they are shock to see that
"oh no it cant be" said sonic
"i believe so Sonic, Dark Tails has returned" replyed Shadow "just like he said he'll will"
everybody look at sonic and shadow
"Care to expalin what going on" question Knuckles
"yeah why is tails is like that" question Cosmo
she looking at Tails new form, Sonic and Shadow look at eachother and nodded
"that not Tails" started Sonic
"that his other self" Coninue Shadow
"me and Shadow face him before" continue Sonic
"a big battle between me and Sonic aganst Dark Tails" Coninue Shadow
"we thought we will see the last of him" Coninue Sonic
"after me and Sonic beat him,Tails went back to normal" Coninue shadow "we thought we will never see Tail's dark self again"
"but now he is back" continue Sonic
"to get revenge " Coninue Shadow
"to the hero's who beat him" Coninue Sonic
"but he call himself" Shadow stop himself to look at sonic who he is looking at Shadow and both of them nodded their head
"DARK TAILS" sonic and shadow said togheter
everybody was shock to hear and see what happen, Dark tails a dark side of Tails nobody know about this except for Shadow and Sonic, but the way they see it John and Dark Tails is going to have one heck of a battle and as for Sonic and his friends they are going to be prepar of what going to happen next
