Aiko ran up to Natsuki and the man, looking worried about Natsuki. 'I have to make it, I have to hurry,' thought Aiko. Aiko was behind the man and then saw that the man was about to hit Natsuki, she jumped on the man, making him fall over.
"Ow!" said the man as he tried to get Aiko off of him. Aiko held on, not letting go of him. Natsuki looked surprised, she watched Aiko and the man, with fear. It's like Aiko has done this before but she hasn't, it was the first time she did this.
"Man!" said Aiko as the man got Aiko off of him, then hurted Aiko very much. She still had some root beer left and hit the man with the can, dropping the soda in his eyes. Aiko grabbed Natsuki by the arm and ran as fast as she could. When they both were away from the man, Aiko was breathing heavily. "Who was that, Natsuki?"
"...No one, Aiko," said Natsuki as she looked away from Aiko. She said, "Baka" under her breath.
"Natsuki…you can tell me." said Aiko as she looked at Natsuki, sighing.
"Okay….he's my father," said Natsuki.
Aiko nodded and said, "I see, you know…my own father hurted me a lot." Natsuki looked surprised, she couldn't believe it. "I will show you all of my spots that he hit me" as Aiko showed her leg and arms, they were a little red, but not much.
"Owch." said Natsuki, "They gotta hurt, Aiko"
"They do hurt" said Aiko as she sighs, "Every time…they hurt"
"Why can't you leave him?" asked Natsuki.
"And leave my brother? Hell no" said Aiko, "what about you, Natsuki?"
"...I….I don't know…" said Natsuki.
"Look, do you have a place to stay that is away from her father?" asked Aiko. Natsuki shakes her head. "I see, okay…maybe one of our friends can let you stay at their house?"
"I could ask…" said Natsuki. Aiko smiled, she nodded at Natsuki.
"Come on then, let's go find someone" said Aiko as she started to walk, Natsuki followed. Aiko saw Yuri again. "Yuri!"
"U-um?" Yuri turned around and saw Aiko and Natsuki. "O-oh hi, A-Aiko and N-Natsuki."
"I need your help…" said Aiko.
"W-with what?" asked Yuri. Aiko looks at Natsuki and sighs.
"Natsuki needs a place to stay….i was hoping you could help her with that" said Aiko.
"U-Uh…" started Yuri as she looked at Natsuki to see her head looking down, "S-sure, I have some room in my house."
"Oh sweet, Thank you" said Aiko, "Oh! If a man tells you that they are Natsuki's father, don't let him in or have Natsuki, okay?"
"I-I think I u-understand Aiko, but t-thanks for telling m-me" said Yuri.
Aiko nods while looking at Natsuki, "You will be fine now, okay. Yuri is going to let you stay at her house"
"Thanks…Aiko" said Natsuki as Aiko smiled at Natsuki.
"Anything for a good friend of mine" said Aiko, that made Natsuki smile.
Yuri was playing with her hair and said, "W-well, come on N-natsuki" as she headed to the right, Natsuki followed Yuri. Aiko started to think, 'so, that is where Yuri's house is.' as she smiled. Then Aiko walks off to the left and hums a tone, wondering when she can be home again.
