Chapter 3
The Mighty Ones and Reaching Level 20
Somewhere not of the mortal world
A Blue portal was open in a large area above the clouds as both Magi and Sunna walked out of it. And as they did they were greeted with the sights of the three begins that they know all to well.
One appeared to be male. He was the second tallest and had pale blue skin and red eyes with a scar across his left one. He had on a light purple shirt with gray gloves and boots that went well with his dark gray pants. His most noticeable features included his dark purple cloak, a special staff in his hands, and the fact he had six watches on the gloved part of his hands.
This was Desu. (Basically Clockwork from Danny Phantom with legs)
The second one also appeared to be male. He looked like a tall, muscular man with dark green skin. He is adorned with a large golden helmet/crown with very long orange hair. He also has a small round shield that is attached to his left arm. The man is also wearing a gold body plate around his waist and similarly styled gold anklets with tasseled decorations. He also wears gold bracelets and matching accessories on his left thigh and upper right arm.
He was Sentō. (Basically Ogre first form from Tekken)
The last being was also male as well. He was the second tallest out of all of them, taller than Desu, but shorter than Sentō. His attire is a black hooded trench coat with a white mask to hide his face, resembling a skull. Metal boots adorn his legs while, barely visible from the outside, was body armor that is hidden by his hood. His most noticeable trait was the large scythe he was wielding in his hands.
He was Jeevak. (Reaper from Overwatch, without the guns.)
Seeing all three of them got the hooded being of magic to actually smile, you know if he had a mouth.
"It's nice to see you guys again, so tell me what do I owe the pleasure of seeing the Overlords of Time, Combat, and Death standing in front of me?"
"You know very well why we're here." Sentō stated.
"You broke are oath." Jeevak continued.
"To only watch over the mortal world and to never interfere with it." Desu finished as he switched into his elderly form. "And you broke it the minute you created that fake temple down on earth and changed the time line."
"Yeah I'm aware." the Overlord of Magic stated to his fellow Overlords.
"And all this just to give a lowly mortal some power." Sentō says.
"Unless HE tells us we can't undo the changes Magi did." Sunna stated looking at the other three, "So what are we gonna do with him?"
"Well obviously such actions against our oath can not go unpunished." Sentō said before snapping his large fingers.
And just like that Magi looks down on his hands to find that they have been bound in a pair of thick, silver colored handcuffs with ancient text on them.
Seeing this got the Overlord of Magic to actually let out a chuckle.
"Strange, I never thought I'd be on this side of the Omni-Lock Cuffs."
"Quiet you." Sunna stated slapping the back of his head as Sentō begins to talk.
"The cuffs will block all his powers until I release him again, but an act this great cannot go punished with just that."
"Yeah, one of us should take away his plain in the Overworld, as one of our properties for one millennia or two." Jeevak says to the other two.
"Yeah, I could use some more space to trap beings in endless torture time loops." Desu says going back to his adult form.
"Woah, who the hell said you were getting it?" The being of death asked before continuing, "I could use some extra space for my necrotic experiments."
"No," The most powerful fighter in the universe says, "I will take it, I have a new marital arts move that can take out an entire city and I need a testing ground for it."
The three other male Overlords would have kept arguing but the sound of the Overlord of Magic was stopping them.
"What's so damn funny?" Sunna asked him as she glared at him
"Oh nothing, it's just the fact you all think I would really violate our oath on my own accord." Magi said leering at them, "The Big Man gave me permission for this."
That caused the other four to widen their eyes.
"What?"
"You lie."
"I'm not," Magi begins to say to them all, "You all really don't get our place in the world do you, he created us simply because he was bored, nothing more nothing less. If you even believe he left control of this world to us, because he trusted us, I honestly can't even believe that such powerful beings like you could be so gullible. We're amusement for him, thats all, you all laugh about how the Gods, your puppets, are were just tools to entertain you, but in reality we are HIS amusement tools. "
Sentō, having enough of this walks toward him and grabs him by his cloak, lifts him off the ground and close to his face. "Shut your blasphemes from your mouth right now."
"I don't have a mouth genius."
"Enough of this foolishness." Jeevak said before using his telekinesis and make Magi float toward him. Using his other hand, he uses his scythe to cut a hole through the air and create a pitch black portal, right before dropping the Overlord of Magic into it, causing the portal to close up and disappear.
"What did you just do?" Desu asked the being of death.
"I sent him to the void dimension, it's a place full of cold and nothingness." Jeevak stated, "HE did state that not even beings like us could withstand it, figured time in there would get him to shut up."
The Void Dimension
Before Magi even new it he was greeted with pitch black the minute he was dropped into the portal.
Nothing but black and cold.
Normally this would cause someone, even an all knowing and all powerful beings like the Overlords, to go crazy.
However, the creator of all the magic in Earthland saw this as something normal.
"So this is what the void feels like."
Before he could go on he looked down and saw his cuffs glowing, and before he knew it they faded away out of existence, leaving Magi with a smug expression.
"Thank you, those were starting to chafe on my moons." He said to seemingly no one as he rubs his wrists.
Then a snapping sound could be heard inside the black void, and before Magi could release it he was no longer in the void.
As he looked down he saw that he was standing on green grass and as he looked up he saw nothing but outer space. The stars, asteroids, meteors, comets, planets, they were all there in the sky.
Magi knew what this was, it was his plain in the Overworld. He smiled upwardly toward the sky, "Thank you, now I can finally see what Romeo is up to."
And with a simple snap of his fingers, Magi was sitting in midair in the manner someone would do if they were sitting in a chair, as a screen popped up in front of him displaying what was going on with the dark purple haired fairy tail mage.

The screen popped up as Romeo slaughtered another Blackscale in his path.
He was dashing deeper into the destroyed city at an incredible pace.
Over the course of the last thirty minutes he had been killing any blackscales he sees, gaining XP and jewels nonstop, though he didn't take notice of that as his main goal was to rid this town of the invading monsters.
He could be seen beating one with his club to death before going back deeper into the city, seeing the dead bodies of man, women, and even children.
Normally, being as how he took the offer and being the indirect cause of this, he would start having a mental breakdown, blame himself, or start feeling guilty for putting innocent lives in danger.
But he wasn't, which Romeo himself was starting to get scared about.
He wasn't feeling guilt.
Or grief.
Nor anything else of the sorts.
He would have wondered why but the system gladly gave an answer as to what was wrong with him.

Romeo wipes the screen away quickly before stopping upon seeing the sight before him.
He was in the center of town, with a large open area in his view.
Not only that but he sees a small group of just 10 Lizardfolks, with five of them guarding a bunch of tied up and frightened women, all gagged at the mouth.
But what really caught his attention was their leader.
He was much larger than the others, He had a pair of fangs that stuck out of his closed mouth, his size easily dwarfed them. He had a few scars on his body and across his left eye. And not only that but his club and armor defiantly looked much more tougher than the other blackscales.

Thrax the Blackscale Lizard

"Careful with women," One of the blackscales said yelling at another's poor handling of the female. "Them prize for glorious leader Thrax!"
"HAIL THRAX!"
The tied up girls could only cry and shake in horror at the thought of the what these monster were gonna do to them.
Thrax himself was staring at the girls with a violating look on his face as he licks his scaly lips as the girls could only shake more in horror.
The monsters would have continued but before they could they heard footsteps that were getting closer and closer.
Upon looking in the direction it was coming from, one of the blackscales that were guarding Thrax's female prizes suddenly got his head bashed with a red flame encased club, that crushed it's skull and brain in, killing it instantly, making some of the tied up girls scream in horror.
The one near him tried to see what was going on with his fellow kin only to scream in pain as a javelin was pushed into his eye and through his brain, killing him as well.
Right before the other three could react their heads were instantly cut off leaving now headless corpse that began spray blood everywhere including the girls were screaming again.
Thrax, the five remaining blackscales, along with the blood soaked girls turn to look who it was. And to there surprise they see a boy with both a club and a sword in his hands, both of which are covered in blood.
His back was to the girls while his front was to the lizard folk who saw his mask.
Romeo looks up at the big Lizardman and points his red stained sword to him.
"Thrax, the blackscale leader?" He said looking up at his eyes.
"Who you be tiny meat?" the boss asked as the remaining five all stand in front of their leader in a protective manner.
"My name isn't important, what matters here is that your going to die."
The five in front of Thrax let out growls and roars upon hearing this.
"You not lay hand on mighty leader!"
"Face us before Thrax."
"We protect glorious leader."
"PROTECT THRAX-AUGHHHHH!"
Romeo himself couldn't believe what he just saw, it was unbelievable.
Thrax unsheathed his mighty club and swung it in the direction of the five blackscales, causing them to crash into a nearby building, making the tall structure collapse and fall right on top of them, killing the leaders warriors instantly.
The boys eyes widen as he looks back at the huge lizard, who's weapon was stained with blackscale blood.
"What why would you kill your own men? They were willing to fight for you!"
The leader swings his weapon back and uses it to point at the purple haired boy, making a gust of wind while he was at it.
"Mighty Thrax no need weaklings to fight for him!"
The leader then brings his club back attempting to clubber Romeo again, however, Romeo dashed toward him with incredible speed and jumped at great height as well surprising the lizard man before he knew it the child was now near his face. The RPG mage makes a fist with his hand and sends a powerful blow to the blackscale leader's snout, causing the lumbering monster to step back in pain. Using this opportunity, Romeo runs back toward the tide up girls and used his sword to cut their bonds, setting them free.
"GET OUT OF HERE NOW!"
The ladies all decided it was best to leave and let this strange, yet strong boy, do his thing, so they all just ran the hell out of their.
Finally gotten over the pain Thrax gets ready to keep fighting, only his eyes go wide when he sees his trophies starting to run from him.
"NOOOOO THRAX'S PRIZESSSSS!" The lizard screamed, but it was too light, they were gone. Thrax is now seen shaking in pure rage as he glares down at Romeo, "THRAX WILL MAKE TINY-MEAT PAY!"
He slams his club down, which the boy dodges just in time, making the monster leave a large creator and making a small shockwave happen in the process.
Romeo then jumps from side-to-side between two buildings and launches himself at Thrax again.
Thrax turns around to see the dark purple haired boy now having a sword drawn and ready to use it. However Thrax wasn't going to fall for that again and unfortunately, Romeo wasn't fast enough to dodge it, as the leader of the blackscales slammed his club at him, sending the boy hard into a nearby building, if it wasn't for his increased endurance he would have surely been crippled, or worse.
Groaning the boy opens his eyes and notices that his mask and sword have both been shatter to bits.
"AH FUCK, this hurts!" Romeo thinks as he slowly begins to get up, enduring the pain he was feeling. "Guess it's time to activate my other skill!"
Thrax started walking toward the building he sent his pray towards, looking forward to finishing him off.
But then, faster than his eyes could see, a dashing blue light suddenly whooshed past him and delivered a strong hit toward his jaw cheek, not only that but the hit burned. The Lizard Boss growls and looks to see who did that, only to feel another one aimed at the back of his head, then another near his eye, soon he was feeling attacks all over his head. Thrax couldn't stop it because he was too busy feeling pain while the target was moving to quickly for him to stop it.
After a while it stopped and Thrax's head was cover in burn marks. The mighty lizardman grits his sharp teeth as he looks in front of him, and on top of a small building there was the cause of his suffering.
It was Romeo, or as Thrax likes to call him: Tiny Meat, holding onto a blackscale club that was encased in red colored fire.
The boy smirks at his opponent, "What, don't you like my sprint skill?"

The blackscale leader lets out an inhuman roar before he slams his club down onto the dark purple haired teen, who jumped high into the air before it could land on him. This left the club to destroy the small building down into rubble. Before Thrax could even pull back his weapon Romeo could be see getting closer and closer to the lizardman's face right before his club digitally went away and he pulled back his fist before pushing it forward, sending a powerful punch toward Thrax's eye.
Making the monster scream in Agony.
It was no use.
The boss tried to up his damaged eye but he couldn't, he was now blind in his left eye.
But before he could bonder on this further he suddenly felt a freezing chill on the top of his head.
If he was able to look there he would see that Romeo was using his blue fire to freeze the top of his head.
However, he wasn't planning on freezing it completely, no just the top.
Because Romeo, with his club back in his hand, smashed Thrax's now frozen head and skull, leaving a hole visible for his brain.
"You think you can come here, kill everyone in this town, and take the women as your little pleasure trophies?" Romeo asked in a tone that made Thrax think of death itself, "DIE YOU BASTARD!"
Before the Boss monster could do anything, he suddenly felt the worst pain he could ever feel: his brain was getting repeatedly bashed by Romeo's red fire encased club.
The light's in Thrax's eyes began to go dim, and then disappeared.
Romeo quickly dashed down from the big oaf's body as he turns to watch it fall down to the ground, limp and lifeless, making it kick up a large dust cloud.
It was done.
Thrax was dead.

Romeo nods smiling upon seeing that he has obtained five rewards.

"SO COOOOOOOOOL!" rang in Romeo's now sensitive ears along with the constant clicking of a camera , as his eyes widen as he knows that voice.
He slowly turns around and to his shock and horror he was now staring at the reporter for Sorcerer Magazine, Jason.
Along with the happy, grateful, and relived citizens of Honio.
"I came here for this city's famous gelatin when all of a sudden the blackscales attacked! I was ready to die before you came in and killed them all! YOU WERE SO COOOOOOOL!" Jason said as he was continuing to take pictures of the still surprised Romeo.
"Yes because of you the rest of us are safe!" A man said smiling at him.
"I shudder to think what that monster would have done to us if you hadn't shown up!" the leader of a trio of women stated.
"We owe you are lives!" A baker said as everyone began cheering for their young savoir
Romeo was beginning to get a little nervous from all the attention he was getting.
"Tell us what's your name!?" Jason asked as he brings out a notepad.
"Uhhhh, Well, uhhhh, OH LOOK ANOTHER BLACKSCALE!" Romeo calls out as he points behind the crowd.
"WHAT!?" Everyone turned around to try and find the lizard, only to see nothing there.
"Huh what gives?" Jason asked as he turns back to Romeo, only to widen his eyes as he was no longer there anymore.
Said boy was running through the empty city streets away from the crowd until he eventually reached the forests and began to run back home, and thanks to his new speed curtesy of his agility stat, he would get there a lot faster than one would expect.
Back in his room
"Oh god."
Romeo says to himself as he flops down onto his bed, after changing into his PJs, of course.
"Of all places Jason had to be there." he groans, "And knowing him this is most likely going to get leaked out to the public."
The boy would have kept complaining but he then notices his reward screen still floating.
"Right I forgot about that." Romeo says before clearing his throat, "Accept Rewards."

It was a jagged black blade with metallic edges. It has a sharp edge and a gray hilt. The center of the blade is a brown and black pattern that leads to the brown crossguard. The edge of the hilt has a silver edge pointing in the opposite direction of the blade's tip.
Soon another screen popped up.

"I got an S Class Item from just doing an Emergency Quest." Romeo says to himself as he swaps away the screens that popped up, "And not just any S Class item, one for a set effect no less."

"As the name would imply items like these are part of sets, if you get all the items that are part of the set a special effect will activate." Romeo smirks as he looks down at his hands, "If my strength increases by 20 just from these wristbands, I can't wait to see what new powers I unlock from the other items."
Soon Romeo spots his guildhall, "Finally."
He opens the door and goes closer to the counter and asked Kinana for some food and a drink.
The purple haired woman smiled and offered the food that he requested.
Romeo smiled as he begins to eat his food, with a smile on his face as he was unaware of three looming figures that were approaching him.

Romeo turns around to see Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus standing there with glares all toward him.
The only son of Macao swallows his food as he looks at them confused.
"We hear your going on a job with Wendy?"
"Yeah, how did you even hear about that? I only told her." Romeo says to them.
"We have our ways." Laxus stated to the boy, "And by that I mean, Mira told me while she was serving me a beer."
"Is it true or not?" Natsu asked him.
"Yes it is, why do you ask?" asked the boy, though he already had a fairly good idea as to why.
"Listen up and Listen well punk." Gajeel speaks in a threating tone, "You better not try anything funny with Wendy during your job got it."
"Right, cause I'm gonna mess with someone that out classes me in both physical and magical strength, at least at my current level." He thinks before looking at the three with an unfazed expression on his face. "Oh would you guys relax, we're just going on a job, nothing is gonna happen."
"It better not," Laxus threatens as he grabbed the dark purple haired boy by his shirt and easily lifts him up to meet his glaring eyes, "Or else..."
"Or else what?" Romeo asked him still unfazed. "Your gonna whine that you didn't have your way and threaten to destroy the town again?"
All three of the dragon-slayers looked at the dark purple haired boy with shocked looks, surprised that he actually said that.
Though no one was as surprised as Romeo himself, though he didn't show it.
"Wow, I grew some balls when I was sent back."
The grandson of Makarov wasn't exactly happy with the way the only son of Macao was speaking to him.
"What did you just say...?" Laxus asked glaring at the boy as his hand started to gather lightning.
"You heard me," Romeo simply states, "Now are you gonna let me go or are you do you have another town to destroy with the Thunder Legion?"
"Thats it you asked for it!" Laxus stated as the lightning in his hand started to flare up much more quickly and rapidly...
"Laxus, Gajeel, Natsu, what are you guys doing?"
The four males turn around to see Mira, Levy, and Lucy all standing there with scary smiles on their faces, as the auras they were giving off were frightening the four, mostly the Three Dragon-Slayers though.
"W-We were just having a nice talk with Romeo here." Gajeel said flinching at the glare Levy was sending him.
"Gajeel, Laxus is holding him off the ground while his other hand is covered in lightning." Mirajane says as she points a finger at the scene.
The blonde male himself quickly stopped the magic in his hand as he instantly lets go of Romeo, who fell on his own butt.
"Yeah you guys are gonna have to come with us." Lucy said as she, Levy, and Mirajane nod and pulls on the ears of Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus painfully and taking the three dragon-slayers away from the secret RPG mage as much as possible.
Romeo himself slowly begins to get up as he just takes in all that happened.
"Wow, guess my Tranquil Mind Blessing really does keep my mind calm, I would have shit my pants in that kind of scenario back in the past." He said to himself just before the sound footsteps grabs his attention again before he looks back to see a small blushing Wendy and annoyed looking Carla.
"Oh hey Wendy, you ready to go on our Job?" Romeo asked her smiling before looking at the flying white cat, "And is Carla coming with us?"
"Unfortunately not, as I have something else to do." The exceed explains.
"Oh, ok sorry to hear that." Romeo says though he sounded too happy about that then he'd care to admit.

"However," She begins to say making both Wendy and him look at her, "If you do anything to upset her while you guys are on this job," She flashes her claws at the boy, "You and I are gonna have a violet talk."
And with that she flies away from the two children having gotten her message clear.
Romeo just blinks as the cat did so before shrugging and looking back at Wendy who was rubbing the back of her head.
"Sorry about her,"
"Nah it's cool," Romeo reassured her as he walks with her to the board.
"So, which one should we do?" Wendy asked.
Romeo looks it over thinking to himself before he sees one that had a flashing blue light surrounding. Considering the fact that Wendy didn't comment on this he guessed that this was the system trying to tell him to pick the job. Since it had been good to him thus for, Romeo decided it would be best to listen to the system and grabbed the flashing piece of paper and begins reading it over.
"How about this one?" Romeo suggested.
"What do we have to do?"
"We just have investigate a strange castle that appeared out of no wear near a village." Romeo said smiling, "Pays 49,000 jewels."
"That much to just investigate a castle?" Wendy asked surprised holding the flyer.
"I know right?" Romeo says before the blue haired girl goes and gets it approved by a star-struck Mira.
"Please..."
Said boy instantly turns around and looks around to see what could have possibly said that.
"We're trapped here..." a different voice from the other said making Romeo once again to see who it was, only to see nothing out of the unusual there.
"Where is this coming from?" The dark purple haired boy asked himself.
"Free us..." Both of the strange voices said at the same time.
"Romeo?"
"Ahhh!" Said boy flinched upon feeling someone touch his shoulder only to it was a very concerned Wendy.
"You ok? You look like you see a ghost." She stated worried about the only son of Macao.
"More like heard it." Romeo thinks before smiling at her. "Nah it's cool Wendy."
He then grabs her hand, making the Sky Dragon-Slayer blush a bit, as he starts walking her toward the train station.
Back with Magi
"Hahahahaha," Magi said as he was watching the screen, "He not only beat those blackscales but also is about to embark on an adventure with the girl he loves, oh boy this is gonna be fun to watch."
The Overlord of magic smirks as he looks up at the air.
"So what do you think, he's the perfect one is he not?"
The only thing that happened after asking that was a small gust of a wind blowing onto the Overlord, but he knew exactly what that meant.
"Relax, he's only level 20 right now, he'll get stronger." Magi would be grinning right now if he had a mouth, "And when he does, I assure you, he will finally be ready."
The breeze he was feeling only got stronger.
"I know it will be complicated, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it," Magi said before sitting down in mid-air as if he was in a chair, "Now come, they are about to board and it's getting good."
