Chapter 4
The Fall of a God and the Dungeon Raid
"What do you mean there's a problem?" Magi asked as he looks up at the sky. He had hoped that his boss would be pleased with what has been happening down on Earthland, however the Overlord of Magic was now hearing the all mighty being stating that they have a situation. "What's the problem?"
Magi feels a strong breeze.
"What does God Serena have to do with any of this?" Magi asked confused.
The breeze got a little stronger.
Magi starts rubbing his chin, "True, with him around most of Romeo's accomplishments aren't gonna mean much when the strongest mage in all of Ishagar is still roaming free. Not to mention the Magic Council might use him to do something drastic if Romeo doesn't fall in line."
The breeze gets a bit stronger again, this time making the Overlord's robe flail a little bit in the wind.
"Romeo hasn't been doing anything to change the timeline from the previous one?" Magi asked looking up at the spatial sky before nodding. "True, the thought probably hasn't been crossing his mind as of lately."
Magi looks straight in front of him.
"So we agree, God Serena has got to go?" Magi asked only to feel a gentle breeze.
As the overlord knew that was his boss' way of saying yes.
"Got it, but the guy is the most powerful in Ishagar, so there's only one being powerful enough to get rid of him... Acnologia."
Magi soon pulls up a new set of screens in front of him.
"I'll set up a series of events that will get him and Acnologia to meet,"
He then smiled as he looks back at the screen which showed Romeo and Wendy both sitting quietly in their seats as they were riding the train.
"Lets see if you can handle what is to soon come, young Romeo."
With Romeo and Wendy in the Human World
The ride has been relatively quite for this Sky Dragon-Slayer and the secret RPG mage as they were traveling to the Emall Village to their job. The dark purple haired boy himself wanted to start talking to the pretty blue haired girl, but he was having trouble starting a conversation, whenever he opened his mouth to speak he would just shut it, the words lost to him.
"Come on you idiot, she's right there, talk to her!" Romeo thinks to himself right before hearing a familiar Bing sound.

Objective: Stop being quiet dummy and Talk to Wendy Marvell
"I KNOW THAT!" Romeo screams at the screen mentally, thankful that Wendy was looking the other way and not seeing him right now, otherwise he would just look like a freak staring at something strangely.
He rubs his head before looking back at the young dragon-slayer.
"So ummmm," Romeo begins to say getting the girl's attention, "What do you think the jobs gonna be like?"
"Oh um." Wendy says, a bit surprised, "I think we will just investigate the castle, tell the townsfolk what's wrong, and then collect our money."
"But the flyer said that this castle appeared out of no where," Romeo stated, "How does a castle just appear out of no where like that?"
"I don't know." She said to him, "Maybe this has something to do with the rising monster sightings?"
"Wait what?" Romeo asked shocked, "What random monster sightings?"
"Hmmm, you don't know?" Wendy asked before explaining, "Monsters have been appearing more frequently in the world, it's gotten to the point where more members are needed for guilds, armies, and other organizations just to contain it all."
"Could this be because of the system?"
"Do you think that would be it?"
"Probably." Romeo agrees before smiling at her, "But that doesn't matter if it is." He ruffles Wendy's hair, "Cause we got a strong slayer on our side."
She blushes, "Stop that!" she said cutely swatting away his hands, making the secret RPG mage laugh.
"Besides, I'm not that strong anyway." Wendy says sadly looking down.
The smile on the only son of Macao's face instantly disappeared upon seeing the Dragon-Slayer having a depressed look on her face.
"Wendy." a concerned Romeo begins to speak, "What are you saying?"
"I'm just saying that I'm not that strong, the only real reason I've been of any help to anyone is because I have a rare magic plus I'm a mobile healer. Other than that I have nothing else." Wendy begins to say to her fellow guild mage.
"Is that what you think?" Romeo asked feeling worried, to which Wendy only nods.
Before he had gotten his powers, Romeo didn't really know much about his fellow young guildmate, which was justified since she was mostly out saving the world or with Team Natsu. But he always thought she was brave and strong, especially given she had such an awesome power like Sky Dragon-Slayer magic backing her up. He had never thought that she could ever feel like this.
"I really am an idiot..." Romeo thinks as his heart continued to sink at the sight of the sky dragon-slayers gloomy face, "To think that I really thought back then that she wouldn't understand what I was going through, when in reality, we've been going through the same exact thing all along..."
Because she was still feeling sorry for herself that blue haired girl was caught off guard when the dark purple haired boy brings her into a hug and rubs her back gently in an effort to comfort her. Wendy's cheeks begins to glow so red they revival Erza's hair.
"Wendy, don't put yourself down like that ok?" Romeo speaks softly as he looks continued his actions, "You are strong, your smart, fast, friendly, not to mention a really strong fighter."
The girl continued to listen to all the things he was saying to her.
"Trust me when I say that most kids your age would do anything just know what it feels like to be as strong as you." Romeo stated while thinking back to the days before he gained access to the system.
"Romeo..."
The boy lets go of her and gently pats the top of her head.
"Trust me Wendy, your not alone in that feeling," Romeo says to the little Dragon-Slayer, Right before smiling at her, "And if you ever feel like your not strong, just know that you stood up to the might of Acnologia and survived, not many people could say they did that. Besides, I'll always think your strong no matter what."
Wendy continued to blush as she turns away so he couldn't see her Redding face.
Romeo smiled as he looks at his fellow guildmate.
"I don't know why but... seeing her hurt was too much for me."
Some where else in Ishagar
It wasn't supposed to be like this...
Those were the kind of thoughts that were running through the mind of the strongest mage on this continent, God Serena.
He was called here in this place because of reports dragonic activity, he had taken the job on the hopes that he would see the Dragon King Acnologia.
That he could finally fulfill his life long goal of killing him.
And wouldn't you know it he had been there! He was finally going to do it! He was finally going to kill that Dragon!
But unfortunately fate was playing dirty with him this day as the epic battle he would have with the dragon king was nonexistent, as the mighty dragon king was superior to him and everyway, God Serena has never in his life felt this inferior to anyone before, it was completely foreign to him.
And he was absolutely despising it.
There was nothing he could do now unfortunately as he laid on the ground bloody and bruised, his left arm and right leg have long been incinerated off during the fight. What was left of the forest they were in was now a giant creator left in the earth, with Acnologia standing above him in his human form, without so much as a scratch on him, staring down at him as if he was lower than the weakest ant in the world.
"It's truly pathetic you know..."
That voice made God Serena feel something he had never known before... fear.
"You honestly thought that you, a mere human, could stand up to the likes of me, and because of what? The fact that your the strongest mage in one continent to only other lowly humans? Or was it the fact you merely have eight dragon lacrima's implanted inside you?" Acnologia asked looking down at him, "I will admit it actually was impressive that your body could handle the might and power of eight dragons, but did you honestly believe that was enough to beat me?"
God Serena would have ran for his life by now if it wasn't for his injuries, he didn't want to die here, he couldn't die here!
He was Ishagar's strongest mage he should not die at the hands of a mere dragon.
The human raised his right arm and began aiming an attack right at Acnologia, preparing to finish him off.
The Dragon King doesn't even put any effort as he merely grabs his only remaining arm and literally rips it off of him.
God Serena screams in pain as his last remaining arm was now no longer off of him.
Acnologia grows tired of this and puts his hand out, which began to produce a great amount of magic power.
"Don't worry, I leave most of your body intact."
Back with Romeo and Wendy
Both of them were now exiting the train as they now arrived in the Village of Grimsbay.
To say that Wendy was still acting weird after that whole conversation that she and Romeo had before would be an understatement. She was full on blushing, not looking in his direction, and even took a few steps away just to not feel so nervous.
Romeo himself on the other hand, while felling a little embarrassed as the knowledge that he full on hugged Wendy Marvell, a girl he himself actually thought was cute, was relatively feeling normal, he even got some extra jewels from completing his quest back in the train.
"You ok there Wendy?" Romeo asked as he was looking at the smaller girl, who was busy looking away and muttering something too low for Romeo to hear, even for his growing advanced senses.
"N-NOTHING!" She stated quickly.
The boy chuckles as he thinks it's best to go to the mayor so they can complete their mission, wondering why the system wanted him to take this job in the first place.
BING!
Speak of the devil, as it just sent Romeo another screen for him to read.
However this one was different from the rest, as it wasn't a quest or an alert about something dangerous approaching him, instead it was just a message, one in which he didn't get the contents of.
An Almighty Object has been vanquished by an Unstoppable Force
Romeo just blinks at the screen before mentality swiping the screen away so he doesn't look like a crazy person swatting at nothing.
Just then the boy looks around the normal looking village to see where their mayor's office was at. "Hey Wendy?"
"Y-Yeah?" Said girl managed to calm down enough to have a conversation with him.
"So where is the mayor anyway?"
"I heard it was somewhere in the center of town."
A Few Minutes Later
"Thank you so much for coming." The mayor stated to the two young mages.
He was a man in his early 40s, he sports blond hair, and a beard of the same color. He also wears his black suit with the shirt buttons open, and without a tie.
"It's just ummmm..." the man rubs the back of his head.
"What is it?" Romeo asked with his arms crossed as he and Wendy were standing in front of him.
"I just don't think a few young mages like you can handle this, no offense but I would have preferred the more older members of your guild." He stated with a sigh, "Oh well beggars can't be choosers I guess."
"You could have worded that a little better you know..." Romeo and Wendy think at the same time swear dropped.
With a sigh Romeo begins to speak again, "Look sir, I understand your skepticism, but I can assure you we're stronger than we look, especially her." he points at a lightly red faced Wendy. "So what is it that you need from us?"
"Ok ok, sorry." The man stated before getting to the point, "Around a few days ago a giant castle appeared in the distance of this Village surrounded by a thick purple fog, some of my citizens entered it out of curiosity but they never came back out."
"Did you ask for some more guards from Magnolia or the Magic Council?" Wendy asked him.
"I did multiple times," The mayor answered, "However I was told that they couldn't send any as there were more monster sightings and attacks, so they couldn't afford to send anymore men as they were preoccupated with their own beasts. And any guards I did have that went to castle also never came back out."
Romeo was gripping his arms more tightly, unknown to both his fellow guild mate and the mayor. "Is it really that bad?"
"After that I forbid anyone else from entering it without my permission." The Mayor looks at them desperately, "Please you have to find them and bring them back if you are able to, there something evil about that castle... I-I don't know what but is."
Both the children of Fairy Tail look at him with concerned looks on their faces before they both nodded.
"You can count on us Mayor." Wendy stated to the man in charge.
A short distance away from the Village
Romeo and Wendy couldn't believe what they were standing in front of. It was a huge medieval looking castle with stainless grey break walls and long towers that stood above the thick purple mist that surrounded it. From the looks of things it seemed pretty ancient.
YOU HAVE ENTERED A DUNGEON
"So this is a dungeon." The secret RPG mage thinks as he looks at the place. He then looks at his blue haired partner.
"Ready Wendy?"
The girl gives the boy a determined look before nodding her head.
"Yeah, I'm ready."
Both of the young mages enter into the thick mist as they enter the castle area.
Once they were inside they were shocked to what they saw it was night time in the mist and if that wasn't weird enough they were standing in the middle of a graveyard.
"Ummm Romeo, it was day time when we entered in here right?" Wendy asked as this was her first time in a dungeon.
"Yup." The boy confirms for the girl, "And even if we wanted to check there seems to be a forcefield blocking us from escaping."
"So in other words were stuck here?" Wendy asked only for Romeo to nod his head.
"Come, lets try and find the citizens."
Romeo begins walking through the misty graveyard with Wendy in-toe as they start looking around. However soon Romeo quickly senses something.
"Wendy look out!" Romeo shouts before grabbing her hand and pulls her out of the way, just in time for an arrow to quickly fly through the area she was previously standing at before, which destroys a nearby gravestone.
The children were shocked before they look forward to see what could have done such a thing.
And they found it to be three knights, all of which bigger than them.
One was armor that was gray and was holding a sword.
The other had teal armor and was much taller then the sword wielding one, and his weapon of choice was a spear.
The final one was more of a light brown color with his armor, on his back was a quiver with a bunch of arrows in it and in one of his hands was a bow.
Romeo glares at their new foes before using his observation skill on them.

"Romeo who are they?" Wendy asked surprised
"They're spirit knights, and my guess is they are the protectors of this place." He said before he lets go, "I'll take care of this."
Wendy was confused as to what the boy meant, however she quickly knew as, faster then she could see, he dashed straight toward the spirit knights, how had their weapons armed and ready to strike.
Romeo went after the sword one first, using his speed he dodged all the swings he had thrown his way before, now using his enhanced strength, punched right through it's armor. The dark purple haired boy pulls out of the now gaping hole in the sword spirit knight's chest before clutching his helmet with both hands and squishing it between them until it broke, killing it.
Spirit Knight Killed
As the monster starts to fall he uses his body as leverage to jump high and dodge a spear strike from the other spirit knight sending a fast and powerful kick to his head, sending it flying right off it's shoulders.

When Romeo turns around to face the one with the bow and arrow, he quickly caught an arrow that was shoot right at his eye, making it stop mere inches away from piercing it. Just as the archer knight was preparing to grab another one Romeo, using his incredible strength again, used his hand to through the arrow right back at the hand the knight's bow was in, not only making it so the archer knight dropped his bow but also made the arrow go through his metal hand. This left him distracted long enough to dash right toward him and send a punch right through his helmet leveling behind a large hole where it's head used to be.

Wendy couldn't believe what she saw, she didn't think Romeo was weak by any means, but seeing how he handled those guys without even using magic, she really underestimated him.
"J-Just how strong is he!?" Wendy asked herself with wide eyes after seeing such an amazing display of physical power.
Romeo dusts himself off smiling to himself. However, because of this he failed to see two more sword wielding knights jumping up with their swords drawn ready to cut him down.
Wendy was able to see this however, as she rushed into action.
Seeing as how she didn't have time to run up and guard him she saw only one way to get them away from Romeo.
Thats when the blue haired Dragon-Slayer began to suck up large amounts of air...
"SKY DRAGON'S ROAR!"
Was what Romeo heard before he felt and heard a large amount of wind hit something behind him, making his hair and scarf flail around. Looking back he was shocked to see a good portion of the gravestones and grass have been wiped out and not only that but two more Spirit Knights have been killed because of her.
Romeo looks at Wendy surprised, causing the girl to have an embarrassed look as he did so.
"D-Did I do something wrong?" She asked him.
"No far from it," He informs her, "It's just, you really think your weak? I mean you fucking destroyed several grave stones and took out two spirit knights in one shot!"
"Yeah s-so what? you beat three of them without even using magic!" Wendy countered.
"That took much longer to do, not to mention yours just took one spell! My magic is no where near this strong!" Romeo countered Wendy.
"Being able to defeat your opponents without magic beats defeating them with magic!" Wendy countered Romeo's counter.
"Not if the magic way is much quicker than the non-magic way!" Romeo countered to Wendy's counter to his previous counter.
CLAP! CLAP!
"WHAT!?" Both children shout as they hear this... Only to widen their eyes comically as they soon realized that they were surrounded by other Spirit knights holding various weapons. Even if the monsters didn't have faces they could tell immedtly that they didn't look too happy as the kids killed off five of their friends.
"Huh, funny, you'd think we would notice something like them coming closer." Romeo says before entering a battle stance.
"Yeah." Wendy agreed taking her own battle stance, her back facing Romeo's back. "Think we can take them?"
Romeo smirks as both of his hands were now encased in red and blue flames. "Without a doubt."
Back with Magi and his Boss
"Ok really, you have another issue with Romeo again?" Magi asked with his hand to his face as he shakes his head, "I know It isn't my place to judge you my lord, but your being awfully finicky about this."
POW!
In a sequence that can only be described as comical, Magi was begging to get rapidly hit in the face... by giant rocks... that broke apart on contact... out of nowhere. Sure it wasn't painful for him but still.
"Ok Ok, I'm sorry my mistake for complaining." The Overlord of magic stated as he fixed his cloak when the rocks stopped coming and sits back in midair. "So what is your issue with Romeo this time?"
A few comets fly through the sky.
"So you think that, despite having the Tranquil Mind blessing Romeo still won't do what is necessary to prove he deserves this power?" he asked only to see a single comet pass by this time, "I see, it does make sense, he is only human."
Magi starts rubbing his chin in thought.
"Ok, how about this, after Romeo and Wendy are done with this job, I start a series of events that will test Romeo." Magi explained, "If he succeeds we will continue on with our plans, if he fails... I'll get rid of his powers and memories it will be like this whole thing never even happened... and then I'll find someone else to use for our plans. Is that ok?"
Magi looks up to see a large blue comet flying overhead in the space sky.
"Thank you Master."
The Space bodied entity then pulls up a screen showing what was going on with both Wendy and Romeo.
"For now though we wait."
Back with Romeo and Wendy
Both the young Mages of Fairy Tail were left panting heavily as they had defeated all of the Spirit Knights that were after them. Through this battle Romeo learned two things, one: he leveled up three times, two: that no matter how many spirit knights Wendy defeated and killed he didn't gain any XP from it, in other words if he wanted to level up he needed to be the one to defeat the monsters.
"You doing ok there Wendy?" Romeo asked stretching a bit.
"Yeah, don't worry I will manage." She stated smiling at him as she dusts herself off.
Romeo soon looks around before pointing in front of him. "Wendy look the castle entrance."
The Dragon-Slayer looks to find the drawbridge to the large structure was down to her amazement.
"You sure about this those armor spirits were tough."
"Yeah, but we're tougher."
And with that both of them soon entered the castle.
It had blue lanterns lighting it's way with a red carpet on the floor both were running on. Some fancy paintings here and there with doors that lead to various other rooms. All in all, it was a very stereotypical castle stage.
Very soon they made it to a throne room which was basically a giant empty room with pillars to the side and large cages on the ceiling that were hanged by chains that were connected to the ceiling.
But what was really prominent was the throne on top of a staircase with one person sitting in it and two people guarding it.
Both of the guards were wearing full black body armor with golden outlining. On their backs they sported red capes whole in their hands they each sported black lances in their metal covered hands.
While the one sitting at the thrown couldn't be more different.
He was much larger than any of the Spirit Knights that Romeo and Wendy had fought earlier not to mention the ones that were standing in front of him. He was wearing a full suit of metallic green armor. The engravings on the armor and the inside of his helmet, which had curved horns coming from the sides of it, were glowing blue. He was sported a ripped black cape that reached down his back, finally he also sported a long sword that was attached to his left hip, the handle of which looked spiky and fancy. His left hand was sitting on the arm rest of his throne while his right was resting on his face.
Romeo used his observation skill on both of them and got greeted with two new screens.

"Just as I thought, the boss monster." Romeo thinks before looking at his partner, "Careful Wendy, it's the leader of the Spirit Knights and his two guards."
"Ummmm yeah Romeo I kind of got that." Wendy told him causing him to blink and turn toward her.
"You did?" He asked her confused.
"Yes." She stated before gaining a deadpan expression. "I'm shy, not stupid."
This caused Romeo to lightly blush from embarrassment and laugh awkwardly, "Y-Yeah I know that... now."
After that both young mages walk toward the monster thats been causing all of the trouble in this village.
"Halt..." The green armored knight stated holding his left hand up, making the youngsters stop in their tracks. "So I take it you two must be what has been causing all of my warriors to suddenly drop dead again."
To both of their surprise the Knight begins to laugh.
"I must say it's impressive that two mere children can actually handle the might of my warriors when so many others have failed."
Just then his hand started glowing with some kind of green energy.
Both the children suddenly hear the clanking of chains as they look up to see one of the money cages that were up in the ceiling suddenly lower one of the cages at great speeds until it stopped before it could touch the ground. This allowed both Wendy and Romeo to widen their eyes when the see he had the people the mayor was talking about in these cages, all passed out and not moving an inch.
Just before Wendy could reach out and free them the cage quickly ascended back to it's original position.
"What are you planning on doing to them?" Romeo asked glaring at the boss.
The green knight calmed down as he looked down at the purple haired boy. He instantly took note of the strange energy that was radiating off of him, "I see at least one of you isn't like that common trash that comes here." Alexander stated as he looks down at Romeo, "Well if you must know, I need enough to preform a ritual."
"What kind of ritual?" Wendy asked a little afraid of what she might hear.
If his mouth was visible, or if Alexander even had a mouth to begin with he would be grinning sinisterly right now.
"Simple really," He looks at them starting to have an equally frightening and evil aura around him, "We are spirits, those we are enterally bound to here, so I was going to have my warriors possess their bodies so we could finally get out of this place and cause havoc to the rest of this village."
Both of the young mages widen their eyes in horror. "Wait, if you do that what's gonna happen to the people?"
"Who knows, and quite frankly I don't care." Alexander stated before he snapped his fingers.
Both of his guards jump up high in the air before they bring their lances down, dropping down to the ground at great speeds.
Wendy and Romeo widen their eyes before quickly jumping out of the way, causing both of the black knights to miss their mark and stab the ground instead, creating a mini shockwave and destroying that part of the floor, leaving two small creators where their sword tips were.
The blue haired Dragon-Slayer was shocked, she didn't think that these two knights could be this strong. However, she was gonna fight and protect herself and Romeo from them no matter what. However, she was visibly confused as since Romeo was right behind them. but they didn't seem to turn around and face him. Instead her eyes widen when they both looked right at her and started charging at her with high speed and begin trying to stab her at equally high speed. If it wasn't for Wendy's quick reflexes she would have been dead for sure.
"What the?" Romeo asked confused.
"You are the only one of interest to me, I do not care about her." Alexander stated, Right before standing up and pulling his large blade out before throwing it up in the air making it spin in midair. Romeo was standing there confused as to why he would do that, however he suddenly saw the weapon begin to glow with the same green energy as the cage before as it stopped it's spinning, it's blade pointing up to the ceiling. Suddenly it begins to drop down toward the dark purple haired boy who managed to dodge it in time. The impact of the weapon made a small shockwave that left a large creator in the floor, like the guards did before, just you know, bigger. Alexander then jumps down from his high chair and dropped down to the ground, making a small shockwave, before his hand was covered in that green energy again right before his sword flew all the way back to him and he was now wielding his weapon once again. "I sensed the energy from you the moment you walked in, so your the one he chose."
Romeo narrows his eyes at him, and seeing how Wendy was preoccupied with her own fight to notice, he digitally summoned his Fang Blade.

"I don't care whether your referring to Magi or not, nor do I care how strong you." Romeo stated as he was thankful Wendy was too busy with her own fight that she couldn't hear him. "However I do know one thing, I'm gonna fucking end you."
Faster than Alexander thought the RPG mage quickly closed the gap between them and attempted to stab in in the shoulder, he blocked the strike with his own long sword before it could do anything, "Your fast but not fast enough it seems."
Romeo suddenly felt a huge pain in his gut upon seeing that Alexander dealt a heavy punch to his stomach.

The boy coughs up blood as he was send back a few feet.
Just then the long sword the dungeon boss was wielding started to glow with a bright green energy. Alexander pulls his sword back and delivers a devastatingly fast swing. Though Romeo was able to dodge just in time. As for Wendy and the guards, the knights were in the air at the time so they didn't have to worry about the attack, for Wendy she saw the attack coming and quickly pulled herself back enough for the attack to simply pass by her, though it did get the very tip of one of her pigtails.
All in all, Alexander's sword slash didn't land on anyone.
BOOM!
However saying it didn't do any damaged was a complete lie.
Romeo looks behind him and sees that all the pillars in the room have been destroyed the very shockwave created from it causing the cages up in the ceiling to shake, if he hadn't dodged that then he would surely be dead right now.
"You see the force your dealing with here now boy?" The green knight asked smugly pointing his blade right at him, "I suggest you give up and surrender peacefully so you and your weak friend over there end up as corpses decorating my throne room floor."
To his surprise Alexander found his young male opponent actually laughing.
"Give up, surrender, Wendy weak?" Romeo asked before wiping the blood from his mouth and grinning sinisterly at the knight king. "Two things you should know Alexander, one, in case you haven't seen this guild mark on my shoulder, you would know that the words "giving up" and "surrender" aren't in our dictionary." He gets up and coats his Fang Blade with red flames. "Secondly, Wendy is not weak, if you actually look at the fight you would see it's your guards that are the ones losing."
The boss did as he was told and to his shock the stupid brat was actually right. His throne guards were giving it all they got and while it was proving to be a challenge for Wendy it wasn't anything the dragon-slayer could handle. One began channeling white spirit energy into his lance, making it not only stronger but faster as well, his body having the same idea. Every thrust and strike they did with their weapons left large holes in the walls and floors, but unfortunately, Wendy could use enchantments as well, and unlike them she could use them to enhance both the power of her body and spells.
"SKY DRAGON'S LEADING SKY ARROW!"
One of the guards felt great pain in the chest as Wendy kicked it hard with a whirlwind encased leg, before he was sent flying into a wall at great speed, causing the wall to now have a large hole in it. The other, one looking to avenge his comrade, appears behind her with an enhanced lance to boot. However, quicker than he could notice, Wendy quickly dodged, landing on the tip and used it to jump further into the air before lifting her leg up her hand.
"SKY DRAGON'S CRUSHING FANG!"
The second guard was sent crashing down into the ground, creating a mini shockwave, by the small but mighty Dragon-Slayer.
Alexander's eyes widen as he sees what he saw, how could a mere child hold so much power!? He trained his guards himself even! They should have destroyed her by now!

The green knight suddenly felt great pain in both his stomach and left arm. Looking down he sees Romeo has now punched him with his superhuman strength cracking his armor and leaving his belly exposed. As for his left arm, the dark purple haired boy managed to stab hard enough to pierce his armor before delivering a slash so hard his entire left arm was cut off, leaving him screaming in agony. If it wasn't for the fact he was a spirit inside a suit of armor he would have been bleeding right now.
Alexander pants as he looks at the boy glaring at him.
"You little bastard."
"Your the one that got distracted." he stated to him.
Gritting Alexander grabs his sword and proceeds to use his great speed and dash and jump around the room, becoming a blur to Romeo as he did so. He would be grinning as he looks down at his prey ready to strike, however, suddenly Romeo instantly disappeared from his spot.
CLANK!
Alexander was lucky that he stopped the attack to his face when he did from Romeo, who's eyes have began to glow green.
"You think your the only one who can move fast?"

Pretty soon both became green blurs, moving at such inhuman speeds, enough so to make mini shockwaves.
Unknown to the five that were currently fighting half of the people in the cages began to have faint glowing green energy surrounding them as they begin to wake up, confused.
"Huh?"
"W-What?"
"What's going on?"
As soon as they got up and took a good look at their surroundings they started to remember everything as they looked down seeing people there, fighting back against their captures. They even felt the winds and small shockwaves that were created thanks to their constant blows.
"Hey you there!"
"Help us! Please!"
The calls of innocent brings the fives attention toward the ceiling cages where they were met with the pleas and calls of the people that Alexander and his knights captured.
"No this cannot be! They aren't supposed to be awake until the ritual!" He shouts angry that his plans were being foiled by two mere children! Talk about hamulating!
Seeing the tides turning Macao's only son turns to look at the blue haired girl.
"Wendy, we have to finish this now!" He said to her.
"Got it!"
Wendy looks at her two opponents as she was getting ready for her final attack. The Guards were having the same idea as they stand next to each other with their lances pointing at her, standing side by side. The swords begin to light up with so much spirit energy that their capes begin to flail around. Wendy herself begins to suck up some of the air in the room getting ready to unleash her own attack as well.
While they were doing that Romeo and Alexander were busy with a high speed sword fight. Being honest, Romeo was having a difficult time, even if the knight king only had one less arm, he was still a formidable foe for the kid to face.
"I need to end this quickly." Romeo thinks as he continued to parry slashes from Alexander.
His fang blade began to glow with green energy.
"This has gone on long enough." The green knight pulled his sword back to his side, the long sword gathering large amounts of spirit energy, "Time to die."
Sadly, he would not get the last laugh as he had desired. The great Spirit Knight suddenly felt a great pain in his stomach, one just like his arm getting cut off, only greater, making him drop his sword.
Looking down he saw Romeo, eyes still glowing green, his blade now pointed right in the center of a large gaping hole that was right in his stomach.

"Yeah yeah, shut up." Romeo jumps high into the air grabbing onto one of the many hanging cages, making the people inside it gasp and scream as he made it tilt.
Just as Alexander was about to do the same his eyes widen when he heard these words coming out of a females mouth.
"SKY DRAGON'S ROAR!"
A giant white tornado quickly came right toward him, and if that wasn't bad enough both of his guards came crashing into him. The combined weight and power of both of them and Wendy's tornado had enough power in it so that when they crashed into his throne it ultimately caused it to smash into piece making it fall on top of the King killing both of his guards and burying him in a pile of rubble, as well as create a huge dust cloud.
While all the focus was on Wendy, Romeo sent his Fang Blade back to his inventory.
Once the dust cleared and seeing no sign of the knight king Romeo dropped down to the ground, creating a mini dust cloud as he did so.
He looks at the destruction amazed before turning back to Wendy, who blushes a little at his gaze.
"And you still think your weak? After not only taking out two guards but the one that I was fighting as well?"
Before the girl could answer both of them turn to the rubble as they heard a noise coming from it.
"RAWHHHHHHHH!"
In a fit of blind rage the one armed Alexander emerged from the pile of rubble, armor all cracked and broken, looking beyond angry.
"You fucking piss ants! No one ever defeats me! NOONE! I will make you suffer for this!" Alexander shouted on the top of his lungs so loud Wendy had to actually cover her ears. "You hear me! You will suffer a thousand tortures each more painful and hamulating than the last! THERE WON'T EVEN BE BONES LEFT TO BURY YOU TWO!"
"He's still alive?" Wendy asked shocked, "Wow he's tough."
Romeo could only nod at this as he had to figure out a way to defeat. And he found it out by simply looking above the green armored knight as he spotted a large golden chandler. The decertation was shaking from the force of Alexander's voice.
"Huh, funny how I never notice that before." Romeo thinks before simply firing off a violet flame bullet, burning the chains that connected the Chandler to the ceiling and making it full right on top of the dungeon boss.
The only part of Alexander that was even visible anymore was his raised right arm. It stayed in the air for a while before it finally dropped to the floor, limp and lifeless.
It was over, the dungeon boss was dead.

He then mentally swiped the screens away.
Suddenly, the whole castle begins to start shaking.
"Wendy!?" Romeo asked alarmed, like come on! They just finished off the boss!
"I don't know what's happening!" the blue haired girl screamed as she looks up.
The cages began to fall toward the ground! Not fast enough to injure the people inside or cause them to shatter but still pretty fast.
When the people inside saw this they all began to run like hell.
"We're free!"
"We can finally go home!"
"Hurry Lets' get out of here!"
Both Wendy and Romeo were guiding people outside of the castle until they got everyone out.
"Well, I'll be a son of a gun, I still can't believe what I just saw." A female voice stated with a heavy country accent.
The two young fairy tail mages turn their heads to see who has just spoken, only to be surprised to find out it was a girl, one who appeared to be a year older than Romeo at best.
She is a petite young girl with orange-brown hair, which is tied in two braided pigtails on either side of her head. She has a childlike and innocent look to her, possessing very large, almost round greyish blue eyes and freckled cheeks. She has a remarkably small nose that cannot be seen when viewed from the front. In contrast with the rest of her childlike appearance, she possesses distinctively large hips and thighs, mirroring a marked pear shape. Her choice of clothing is a black T-shirt with a white collar line under a pair of calf length greyish blue overalls, covering her torso and reaching up below her armpits, held up by shoulder straps. The overalls are plain except for a series of simple, small round motifs going down the side. Her outfit is completed by two red sandals on her legs. Down on her right ankle Romeo could see a green guild mark resubliming the one that belonged to Mermaid Heel.
"You two are hella strong, and your not even older than me!" she said smiling at them.
"Wait, Beth Vanderwood?" Romeo asked surprised to see the mage there.
"The one and only."
"Romeo you know her?" Wendy asked unknowingly frowning a bit.
"Yeah," Romeo said nodding to her question, "I saw her participate in last years Grand Magic Games, took down two people in two matches she's been in if I recall, never met her though."
"Oh ok." Wendy said, though she didn't understand why she was strangely happy to hear that.
"Well it's nice to meet you and who might you be?" Beth asked the blue haired girl putting her hand out.
"Wendy Marvell." The sky dragon-slayer said before handshaking with the Mermaid Heel Mage.
"Pleasure to meet you as well."
"What are you doing here anyway?" Romeo asked with his arms crossed.
"I was here visiting to get this Village's famous tasty vegetables when I heard about it's dilemma." Beth begins to explain to the two, "I reckon I had to help been a guild mage and all. I was able to beat some of them, but ultimately I got my butt handed to me, I was out cold until now. "
"Hey don't beat yourself up, happens to the best of us." The dark purple haired boy said trying to cheer her up.
"Thats easy for you to say, you were practicably playing with that green knight fella." Beth stated to him.
"It may look like that but I assure you I had a difficult time, even with one less arm he was still a formidable opponent." Romeo explained before pointing to Wendy. "Her fight, on the other hand, was practically one-sided, in her favor."
Wendy blushes and whips her head quickly at the boy.
"R-Romeo! Don't exaggerate like that!"
"That was no exaggeration!" Beth exclaims, "I saw both of your fights! Those two knight guards didn't stand a chance! You dragon-slayers sure know how to fight."
Romeo grins as he pats the blue haired girls head as she was blushing from all the compliments she was received.
"Alrighty then, I better get going, Kagura and the others are probably worried sick about me," The freckled girl stated before smiling at her, "Hope to meet you two again some day, bye!"
And with that the country girl ran passed them and out the door, but not without sparing one last glance at them, though more specifically at Romeo. She didn't know how she woke up but she was thankful when she did. Because if she didn't she would have never seen the battle that both of them engaged in with those knight monsters. Sure she did agree that Wendy's fight was amazing, that was a almost a given granite with those who posses dragon-slayer magic. But, she didn't know, there was something about Romeo and the way he fought that just... grabbed her attention. Maybe it was that weird dagger he was using, the intimating look she saw him have during the whole thing, the mighty strength he possessed?
"Maybe I'll ask everyone back at the guild about it later."
Back inside the throne room, Romeo finally stopped patting Wendy's head, "Alright Wendy, you think you can go and help the people that were trapped here, I'm gonna stay in here and meet with you later."
"Sure but why?" She asked confused as to what reason could he possibly have for staying here.
"I wanna make sure more of those things aren't coming, plus I also want to make sure we didn't miss anything." Romeo half lied to her, as he knew that no more were gonna show up, but he did want to get some more items from the dead monsters they just fought.
Wendy looks at him weirdly before nodding slowly agreeing.
"Alright fine, just don't get yourself hurt ok?" Wendy said to him before leaving.

Romeo smiled before wiping the screen away. He then walks over to the pile of rubble, his foot steps echoing through out the empty throne room.
The boy carefully starts to remove the giant chandler and all the rumble that was covering the knight's corpses.
He looks down to see that they lances and Alexander's long sword to be broken.
"Looks like I won't be getting those."
He said before pressing all three of there bodies.

The boy then puts on the armor only to look down at his body. Only to find that the armor pieces became blue and green transparent lines that became the outline of what the armor looked like on the monsters he had just fought on his hands and torso, right before disappearing. Confused Romeo looked at his physical and magical damage reduction stats to find that they indeed increased and were continuing to stay that way.
"Huh, so I got invisible armor now huh? Sweet, all three pieces are great, but the real kicker is this."

The missing towns folk and others all were returning as their loved ones rejoiced and welcomed them all back with open arms.
As for the Mayor he was comically crying as he was shaking both Romeo's and Wendy's hands.

Wendy giggles a bit sweat dropping, "It's ok Mayor really, happy to help."
"Thats right your reward." he said remembering that piece of info as he reaches behind him and pulls out a wad of 49,000 jewels. "Here is your pay."
"Thank you mayor!" Wendy said smiling happy that she had some more money for her rent.
"No problem and again thanks you two." After saying that the Mayor leaves.
When the sky dragon-slayer heard him say two, thats when she remembered that Romeo helped to so she had to give half the money, it was only fair.
"Hey Romeo here's your half." She said holding the money up as she turned to face the dark purple haired boy.
However the boy wasn't listening or was even facing her, she looked to see that he was facing two statues.
Both of them colored grey and both were standing in the center of town.
The two statues were of knights, almost like the ones Wendy and Romeo fought before hand. They were both of equal height and both of the statues depicted them in battle stances. One of them was wielding a large long sword while the other was wielding two katanas.
For some reason Romeo was staring at the statues with a leering look that not even he knew the answer to. He was memorized by them, their battle stance, their swords, the determined looks on their faces.
Wendy herself was actually staring at the dark purple haired boy. She couldn't admit it, because it would flat out embarrass her. But he looked rather handsome with that look on his face, she could stare at him while he was looking like that forever. But now wasn't the time for that!
She shook her head as her blush was now gone and began to shake the boy's arm, his strong, muscular... very toned arm AH dammit! She was doing it again!
"R-Romeo? Romeo!"
"Ah!" said boy screamed as he was snapped out of his trance. "Yes Wendy?" He asked now fully looking at her.
She let go of his arm and handed him half of her money.
"Here you helped out a lot, so here's half of your money." Wendy said smiling handing over half, only to be shocked when Romeo pushed the money back.
"Nah it's cool, you can keep it."
"Wah, b-but you fought just as many enemies as I have! You have to take it,"
"I'm fine, think of it as a gift for our first mission together." he said smiling, "Besides, I already gained more than 49,000 jewels just raiding that dungeon."
Wendy couldn't believe how generous he was being.
"Anyway, come, it's getting dark and we should probably head back." he stated to her as he begins walking toward the train station.
The blue haired girl stares at him with a small blush before running after him.
On the Train
Soon both of the young fairy tail mages were on the train back to Magnolia. They were alone in a cart as Romeo looks out the Window deep in thought.
Ever since he got these powers, the boy was able to do some extraordinary things. He took on freaking Lizardmen and won all by himself. Yet he still doesn't know the reason why that God he met gave him these powers, I mean why him of all people? Why not someone like Natsu, or Laxus, or even fucking Gildarts, but no he chose him. A weak nobody in the number one guild in all of Fiore. One thing was for certain, he had to figure this out soon.
However this was for another time, now was the time to go back to the present.
"So do you wanna go on another job again Wendy?"
There was only silence.
"Wendy?"
Silence yet again.
"Um Wendy you ok-"
"ZZZZZZZZ"
Romeo blinks before turning around and blushing as he looks to see Wendy was fast asleep. But that wasn't why he was blushing, he was blushing because of the fact she was hugging his arm and was laying her head on his shoulder! Gajeel, Laxus, and Natsu would kill him if they found out!
Though he couldn't deny she did look cute when she was sleeping, even if it did embarrass him to do so.
"Guess she was giving more of her all then it seemed back there." He thinks before smiling as he gently pats her head as he himself sleeps.
The train chugging on the tracks as it took the kids back home.
