Thats the one word that went through Romeo's mind as he looks around the Market Place Dimension he was in.

Last time he was here there was just a few broken down old wooden stands.

Now?

Now they actually looked like a proper market place.

They stands were now buildings with various colors. Some of the merchandise was standing outside while all kinds of flyers and posters were on the walls showing the various stuff Romeo could buy or sell.

"Huh, Adam wasn't kidding when he said this place would upgrade the more I leveled up." The rpg mage thinks as he decided to go and visit him.

He came across one of the buildings and went right inside. As he did he was able to see all sorts of shelves holding various bottles with different colored potions in them. As he looks in front of him he sees a grinning Adam, standing behind a counter, with various machines behind him.

"Hello player." He said smiling, "Nice to see you made it back."

"Hey Adam, I see your doing well."

"I'm doing better than well!"

Adam then goes toward one of the many machines behind his counter and points to the one with a dangerous looking black liquids that was in a large glass container with a skull and cross-bones on it.

"What is that?" Romeo asked confused a bit worried.

"It's a poison machine!" Adam weirdly hugs the glass container like he's holding a cute baby. "Finally, I can make my own poisons like a true potion marketer~"

"What's with this guy and poison?" Romeo thinks as he sweat drops seeing the man with the most happies expression on his face as he rubs the poison container.

Adam was taking out of his weird fixation as he remembered something.

"Oh yeah, I have something for you." He lets go and gets something from inside the counter.

The dark skinned elf then gives the fairy tail mage a large bottle, which had both red and blue liquid in it.

"Seriously, your just giving me this?" Romeo asked surprised.

"Consider it a thank you for getting that wonderful machine." He said smiling back it. "Anyway, swat that screen away, got something else to tell ya."

"Wait you can see this?" Romeo asked pointing at the black screen with golden letters.

"Duh of course, Magi made us remember?"

"Oh yeah."

Romeo swats it away before he looks at him.

"In addition to upgrading shops, as you level up new shops will begin to appear."

"For real?" Romeo asked surprised.

"For real." Adam conformed before smiling. "You should go check out the blacksmith, Simeon Wheelock. He could help with those weak armor gauntlets of yours."

"You can see those to?"

"Magi remember?"

"Oh yeah."

And with that the boy leaves the potion shop before bringing up his minimap and found the location of the blacksmith.

He soon does and finds a dwarven man using a hammer to bang on a piece of meatal.

He was of short stature, which was natural with dwarves. He has very muscular arms and legs while his belly was a gut. He was wearing brown leather overalls, on his left hand was a big brown glove while on his right wrist there was bronze wrist band. He had a long brown hair which he kept tied in a pony tail. He most obvious feature was his long beard the reached to the center of his belly. It was tied into two large braids.

"I guess this most be Simeon." Romeo thinks before approaching him

"Halt." The short man stated as he kept working, "Whit's it that yi'll waant laddie?" (AN: He's speaking with a Scottish accent.)

"Ummm are you Simeon Wheelock?"

"Thats right." He said turning to face him. "Simon is th' name 'n' blacksmithing is ma gam."

"Well I heard you could upgrade these?" Romeo asked as he was holding up the gauntlet armor he gained from the two knights.

The brown haired man looks down at both pieces of armor.

"I say this is some mighty good looking piece of armor you got here." He said as he looks at it, "Though it doesn't mean much in the way of defending yourself." The dwarf then puts on his wielding mask, "I can fix that."

"How long?"

"Mmmmm, gimme aboot 10 minutes."

10 minutes later

"Done." Simeon says as he brings back the pieces of armor... which look exactly the same.

Romeo narrows his eyes at the dwarf. "Hey, what gives? You didn't change anything about the armor!"

"oh pure, then how come dinnae ye bring up thair item screen then?"

The boy still glares as he did so.

The dark purple haired boy eyes widen. "You increased the armor protection by 6 more points?"

"Correct, now you'll be a grand total of +18%."

Romeo grins and puts them on. "Thanks."

"Your welcome." he puts his hand out, "That will be 40,000 jewels."

The sound of glass breaking could be heard in Romeo's mind as he hears that.

"40,000 JEWELS!?"

"Yes, it costs 20,000 for each piece that I upgrade." The blacksmith explains, "Now pay up or I take the pieces back."

Romeo grumbles but hands the money over.

After that the boy exits out of the market dimension.

Back in the real world, in Romeo's bathroom

In a flash of light Romeo reappears back in his house. He then gets out of his bathroom and proceeds to get ready to go to the guild.

"Augghhh, stupid Simeon charging me that much." He grumbled as he was now on the trail to the guildhall. "At least things will be calm now that I'm in the guild hall."

They weren't, the minute he entered the guild everyone was either fighting, drinking, or talking, you know typical Fairy Tail stuff.

"Right, I forgot which guild I'm apart of."

Romeo thinks before he goes to the bar ahead and begins to just go on with his day.

He smiled at Kinana and ordered some stake.

"Hey Romeo." a happy Wendy said

"Oh hey Wendy." the boy said as she sits next to him.

It's been a few days after their Job back at the castle. Ever since then they had began to talk much more often, much to Romeo's joy. She was almost always by his side because of this, Carla was irritated\ to no end, and as for Gajeel, Natsu, and Laxus, well they were busy sending Death Glares to the dark purple haired boy. Not like he hadn't notice, Romeo also knew the only reason they weren't beating his face in right now was because Lucy, Levy, and Mira were keeping them in line.

"So what's up?" She asked him smiling.

"The ceiling."

The blue haired girl pouts. "That isn't what I meant."

"Relax just messing with you." Romeo said smiling as he ruffles her hair.

"Stop doing that!" She whines holding her head with red cheeks.

"Why does it bother you~" He asked teasingly.

"N-No." she said looking down, face turning reader, making the boy grin some more.

Kinana soon came back with his stake as Romeo grins and begins eating it.

"Mmmmm so good!" He said as he continued to eat.

Wendy looks at him while he was eating smiling, seeing him like this made her happy.

"You have got to try this." Romeo said as he was holding a fork with a juicy piece of steak on it.

The blue haired girl's cheeks turn a bit pink at this before she puts her hands up, "N-No it's fine Romeo, i-it's your food."

"Please, I insist." He said to her as he brings the piece of food closer to her mouth.

...It did smell pretty good, plus he was insisting.

Wendy eventuality opens up her mouth and does taste the meat. Romeo was correct as the steak really was delicious.

The dark purple haired boy grins as he sees her enjoying the food. But he quickly notices bits of stake on her cheek.

Smirking he grabs Wendy's chin and makes her turn to the side a bit, making the Sky Dragon-Slayer confused on what he was doing, then a look of surprised dawned on her when she sees him getting closer before he used his tongue to lick the bits off of her face.

Looking back she saw him smirking as he was looking at her while resting his head on his chin.

"You had some steak bits on your face." he stated to her.

End result?

Wendy covering her face with her hands, while said face was so beat red one would think she was a Christmas tree as steam came out of her.

Meanwhile Romeo, thanks to his new advanced senses by increasing his wisdom stat, managed to hear and sense some of the members gasps and surprise upon witnessing the scene. Though they were unaware of the fact Romeo knew about them watching. In the case of Natsu, Gajeel, Laxus, and Carla, well their glares on the boy grew much more fierce, to the point one would think Romeo was gonna have a hole burned through his head.

"Damn, I really did grown ballsy." Romeo thinks to himself before looking at the still embarrassed Wendy. "Also, I think my suspicions were correct, I think Wendy really is having a crush on me."

Yes you heard that right, Romeo knows about Wendy's feelings for him! What, he wasn't an idiot, even before he got his powers he was well aware of the growing couples in his guild back in his previous timeline, it frustrated him to no end how everyone didn't see the signs, especially Mirajane, seriously how the fuck does the resident Match Maker not notice the signs coming from her future partner! IT MAKES NO FREAKING SENSE!

"She is a nice girl, though that does beg the question of whether I want her that close to me or not." Romeo begins thinking, "I mean, I want to level up more but that means facing more dangerous monsters, not to mention trouble seems to keep finding me everywhere I go, it's like I'm in some kind of bad fanfic or something. And thats not even taking into account on even if I like her."

Romeo then looks back to Wendy, who somehow managed to get over the embarrassment of the situation.

He did have to admit she was cute, not to mention kind, sweet, possessed a smile that would brighten up anyone's day, not to mention her attractively petite figure...

"Holy Shit, I think I do like her." the secret RPG mage thinks as he turns away from her, making her confused, so she couldn't see his red face.

However, before the dark purple haired boy could think more on this subject Master Makarov came in, gathering everyone's attention.

"Hello everyone I have an announcement to make." The tiny man stated before looking down at one of the youngest members of the guild, "One that concerns you Romeo."

Fairy Tail was confused as they spared a glance at the boy, who was confused himself.

"You see Romeo, do to you and Wendy saving that Beth girl on your job a few days ago, you have earned the interest of the Mermaid Heel guild master."

Everyone was surprised when he said that.

"What kind of Interest are we talking about here Master?" Erza asked with her arms crossed.

"Well seeing how one of her own members was saved by two members of the so called 'Weakest Guild in Fiore'." Makarov could feel the irritation all of the members felt when he said that, "She sees potential benefit in us, so she seeks to try and form an alliance with us."

Everyone, and by everyone I mean the Non-Tenrou Group members were actually happy about that.

"Ummm, Master," Natsu asked raising his hand, "Who are Mermaid Heel exactly?"

"Ahh thats right, you guys weren't here the last seven years." Max says as he begins to answer the pink haired male's question, "They are one of the new guilds that popped up while you guys were gone."

"They're a guild consisting of only female members." Laki continued.

"A guild of only female members!?" Elfman shouted out, "THAT IS SO MANLY!"

"THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE!" Evergreen shouted before she swatted him over the head with his fan, making everyone sweat drop at the two.

"She as much of a tsundere as ever." Romeo thinks as he sees the two, thinking back to his the previous Elfman and Evergreen in the previously timeline, still wondering on how they haven't gotten together after the war.

However, he wanted to hear what this was about so he decided to get back on track.

"Umm master, what does this have to do with me?"

"It has to do with you because the guild master and I talked," Makarov begins to explain, "And we agreed that, in order to strengthen our guild alliance, you and Beth should go on a job together."

CRACK!

Everyone turned their heads to Wendy... who's hand was on the now cracked bar counter with her hair now overshadowing her eyes... along with a sinister aura surrounding her.

"Oh sorry about that! I guess I don't know my own strength." Wendy said embarrassed that everyone was paying attention to her, a bit of anger in her voice.

Only a few in the guild could tell the anger, including Romeo.

"Ahh dammit, I forgot that dragons, and more importantly Dragon-Slayers are prone to jealously." Romeo thinks as he remembered back in the previous timeline how he would see Gajeel scare away or beat the crap out of any male that got too close to Levy for his liking. "I better think of something begore this escalates."

The secret RPG mage looks up at Master Makarov.

"Ummmm, Master." He said grabbing the old man's attention, "Is there any chance Wendy could come along to? I mean it is only fair, she did help me on the mission."

Romeo was praying to anyone to see if such a thing can be acceptable...

"Sorry Romeo, but no."

But they weren't listening.

"Why not?" Romeo asked worriedly as he was able to sense Wendy growing a bit more angry.

"Because one, the Job requests only two mages join," The titan mage explains to the young male, "And secondly, Beth has personally asked her guild master for you specifically to be the one with her on this job."

BREAK!

Once again, everyone turns to Wendy, who now flat out broke off part of the counter, and who's sinister aura just grew bigger.

Even Laxus was keeping his distance from her.

"Oh great, this couldn't get any worse." Romeo thinks before his eyes widen, "Oh fuck, why did I say that!?"

"HAHA! Thats my boy!" Macao said as he wraps an arm around his son grinning ear to ear.

"And it just got worse." Romeo thinks, mentally whimpering, wishing his dad wasn't going say what he thinks we was going to say.

"You manage to get a girl from the all girl's guild to go on a job with you alone." He laughs as his son just sighs as he saw it pointless to stop his old man at this point, especially since Wendy looked like she could barely contain her rage. "First it's a job, but what's next, a dance, a date, marriage, ohhh maybe I'll have grandkids!"

Fortunately Macao was soon silenced when Mira grabbed him by the back of his neck and her dark voice rang out, "MACAO, SHUT UP!"

"ENOUGH!" The titan mage roars through out the guild hall as he was in his giant mode, which got everyone to become silent.

After he returned to normal he coughs before looking at the secret RPG mage.

"So uh, when do I leave?" Romeo asked his guild master.

"In a few hours," the short man stated, "I suggest you get ready."

A Few Hours Later

Romeo was seen going on a train heading to the town Mermaid Heel was at. He got on there quickly as he didn't want to be near Wendy at the moment.

Before he even got there, It was basically drilled into him by Makarov that he has to make a good first impression on the Beth girl, otherwise he would mess the whole guild alliance up, or worse, might get all of Mermaid Heel to start a war with Fairy Tail. Normally, with that kind of pressure Romeo would have been a stressful mess, but thanks to the system such a thing wasn't an issue. Besides, even if a guild war started they could win.

Makarov gave him a backpack full of stuff he would need for his job. True, the boy didn't need it on the count of him having the Inventory function and all, however he didn't need to draw suspicion as to way he didn't require one on a job that, at least told by his guild master, would take a day or two at most.

The train soon stopped and the dark purple haired boy was soon off it and on a bench at the station he was at. Though he does wonder about the Job he and Beth were gonna go on, no doubt it has something to do with monsters or dungeons.

"Hey, Romeo!" Turning to his right, the boy saw Beth, with her own backpack, with a bright smile on her face. "Glad to see you came! Did I keep you waiting too long."

"No not at all." He said standing up, making the country girl look up to meet his eyes, noting how tall he is. "Just got her even."

"Oh thats good." Beth says, "Because I reckon I was keeping him waiting, what with Kagura telling about how if he tries anything perverted I shouldn't hesitate to take him down."

The cute girl stares at the boy a bit, paying extra attention to his kind eyes and goofy smile on his face.

"But he doesn't look like the type to do that, he looks quite handsome actually." Beth's face soon began to grow a light shade of red, "Sweet tarnation why did I just think that!?"

Fortunately for her, Romeo was too busy thinking about the mystery of the system and Magi that he failed to see such an expression on her face.

"It just doesn't add up." The dark purple haired boy thinks, "Thanks to my increased wisdom and intelligence, I now know that there has to be more of a reason Magi chose me instead of bringing back some amulet right? I mean, why would a God of Magic choose me, someone who didn't even have that great of skill with it in the first place, not to mention I just used common fire magic instead of some kind of cool lost magic like Natsu."

But now wasn't the time for that, now it was the time for the job, speaking of which...

"Hey Beth, what exactly is this job?"

The girl nods before taking out the flyer for said job and looking it over.

"We have to deal with a monster gate." She stated to him.

"Monster gate?" The boy asked though he already had an idea about what that was.

"It's these blue portals that randomly open up, causing monsters to spew out." She stated to him, "I reckon you heard about the rise in monster attacks?"

"I have." The boy nods to her, "I also happen to be the one that caused these things to happen."

"Well these things are why." The country girl explains, "They're appearing more and more frequently, to the point many of the countries around the world are getting concerned, there's still no explanation as to what's causing these gates to appear."

Romeo was deep in thought, he knew that Magi was behind this, by why he is doing this was the big question he needed answered.

CHOO! CHOO!

"All aboard!" The captain of the train said as both of the young guild mages look at each other.

"Looks like it's time for us to go." Beth said smiling before grabbing his hand, making the boy surprised a bit at her forwardness, "Lets get on before we miss our job."

A while later both of the young teens made it to their seats as the train began it's journey toward their job's destination.

"By the way, where is this job located?" Romeo questions.

"To the town of Fada, in the country of Joya." Beth answered getting the boy to have a shocked expression.

"Joya? They need us there?" The twin pigtailed girl nods at this.

"Like I said, the gates are appearing much more frequently, to the point most counties and kingdoms can't handle them on their own." Beth starts to explain to him, "So most are calling in help from outside their boarders."

"Seems reasonable." Romeo says before he grabs the piece of paper.

Quest: Test of the Mighty Ones

Objective: Head to the Country of Joya

The title got the boy confused.

"Test of the Might Ones?" He mentally asked himself, "Ok, well Mighty One must include Magi right? But then who would those other gods be? And what the fuck are they testing me for?"

Beth had a question mark above her head as she looks at the dark purple heard boy, who appeared to be staring at nothing.

The secret RPG mage simply lets out a sigh, "Guess I'm gonna have to figure it out when I get there."

4 Hours Later

The Train soon stopped and both Romeo and Beth arrived in the country of Joya.

Looking around the place Romeo could see that it had many houses and people. There were fruit stands and other shopping areas, and the people around look really friendly and nice. Some buildings stood tall and proud, almost like skyscrapers. Some animals such as dogs, cats, squirrels, and others could be seen scurrying around the area as well. All in all the town of Fada seemed like a perfect place to live.

"This is such a nice looking place." The boy stated looking around.

"You can say that again." Beth stated looking around as well, "Though, I do think we should get started on our job, we should head to the mayor's office."

BING!

While Beth was looking on the flyer to see where to find the place her partner gained a screen with a minimap showcasing where to find the place.

He looked at the screen smiling.

"Man I love this system." Romeo thinks before grabbing Beth's hand, "Don't worry I know the way, come on."

As they begin walking Beth blushes as she took notice of how warm and strong Romeo was.

"Sweet Tarnation he's as strong as an ox!"

As for Romeo, during the walk there he spots a statue with a few people around it.

It was one that depicted a werewolf, or at the very least a werewolf-like creature. Fur all over it's body, dog-like nose, sharp teeth, tail out. It was standing tall with it's claws out, ready to strike. Once again, like the ones of the knights back in the town with his job with Wendy, Romeo found himself staring deeply at the statue, for a reason he didn't know himself. He just... felt something about it, nothing sexual you weirdo, just something that was difficult to describe.

Shaking his head of this for now, they soon made it to a building where a large dark skinned man in a suit could be seen near the entrance.

"Ummm hello are you Mayor Bajeel?" Beth asked as the man turns around revealing his black beard that matched his black colored hair, while also revealing his green eyes.

"Yes I am, who wants to know?"

"Bajeel?" Romeo thinks to himself, "Sounds like someone took Gajeel's name and replaced the 'G' with a 'B'"

"Beth and Romeo." She gives him the job paper, "We're the ones that are here to help with your problem."

"They sent two kids to deal with this?" The man asked surprised right before crossing his arms, "Well, this either means your guilds are super cocky about their strength or you guys really are strong, either way it goes I guess I'm gonna have to make due with what I got."

"Wow, that couldn't have been anymore ruder." Both of the child mages thought at the same time while having tick marks.

The dark skinned man sighed, "Look I'm sorry, it's just that my people are in a state of panic right now, with monsters roaming around and very few people available trying to stop it."

"It's fine." Beth reassured, "Just... take us to where you the job is."

The man nods as he begins to walk with both mages following him.

Soon they make it to the an area within the town that had a large blue portal that was surrounded by people wanting to see it, with yellow tape and guards trying to keep them from coming to close. As the three were getting nearer the guards let them through.

"So this is the portal huh?" Romeo asked, both hands in his pocket.

"Yup, it appeared a few days ago, fortunately no monsters have come out of it yet." Bajeel said right before remembering something, "Oh right, what were your names again?"

"Beth."

"Romeo."

"Right, Beth and Romeo, there was something in my flyer I forgot to mention." The mayor of Fada informs them, getting them both confused, "Like I said, this portal came here a few days ago, and as such we had sent our own team of mages to investigate it earlier, however none of them came back out since."

"Ok, but what does this have to do with us?" the dark purple haired boy asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Romeo!" The farm girl shouts before slapping his back.

"Ow!" The boy stated rubbing his back.

"Be nice."

"Right, anyway, like I said, a few members from one of our own guilds look into it, but they never came back." The Mayor stated, "If it isn't too much trouble, I would like you guys to search and see if any of them could still be alive."

"How many our we talking here?" Romeo asked.

"10 to be exact."

"Alright, and now that I just released it, I didn't even ask this before we even got to this country but, how much does this job pay?"

"600,000 scepters, which is the official currency here," He stated, "You guys are from Fiore correct?"

"Yeah." Beth nods.

"Than that should be exchange rate is 4,000,000 jewels." He said making their eyes widen, "If you guys do this extra bit of work for me, I'll give you an extra 50,000 scepters, which adds an extra 300,000 jewels."

"WE'RE IN!" Romeo and Beth both shouted with stars in their eyes, they were gonna gain that much money that quickly!? Who would ever say no to that!

The duo didn't waste time as they both rushed into the portal without ever looking back.

As they entered they were greeted with the sight of caves. And not just any kind of caves, I mean an entire network of caves, looking around both of the young mages would see rocks, stalagmites, stalactites, water dropping from stone, and various other things you would find in a cave. Though the main thing that both Romeo and Beth could see in this cave were cobwebs.

"A cave dungeon huh?" Romeo thinks looking around, only available light sources being crystals that were found growing in the cave. "So you ready Beth?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." She nods before both of them started walking along, going deeper in the network of caves.

As they did the dark purple haired boy began to wonder something.

"Say Beth." He asked causing said girl to look at him, "These Monster Gates have been appearing more frequently as you said before right?"

"Yeah."

"Well what has anybody found out about these things anyway?"

The girl begins rubbing her chin as she was deep in thought about answering her partner's question.

"Well for the most part they appear randomly and in any location." Beth begins to say, "Many of the magic scientists and other experts say that it's basically a gate to another dimensions, Monster from with in it can cross through and come to our world, which explains the monster attacks increasing." She said as the boy nods, "However, we can also pass through the gates as well, and all of them have what they call a 'Leader' or a 'Boss' monster, in them we have to beat, if we do than the monsters it leads will go away along with it."

"Huh, I see the world is becoming much more informative about these dungeons, and without even me telling them no less." Romeo thinks to himself, "And what about the magic council, how are they dealing with this?"

"They are still trying to figure this whole thing out." Beth informs, "So they haven't done much, but I do hear they are trying to regulate them at least."

Romeo nods at this before, on instinct, puts his arm out and stops the orange-brown haired girl in her tracks.

"What is it?"

"We've been spotted." he stated to her as he points right in front of them.

Beth looks and was soon widen eyed at what was in front of them.

Standing there were a group of monsters. Their standing eight feet tall and weighing in about five hundred pounds were monsters that looked human, but had stiches covering them head to toe. The monsters appeared to be mindless and not able to speak, as some stared at the duo.

The secret RPG mage had a question mark over his head before looking back at the 'dangerous' monsters he was trying to shield her from... and sure enough they were limping over to them at a very slow pace, making it highly unlikely that they will cause them any danger.

The young fairy tail mage grew a small blush as he rubs his cheek.

"I-I see..." He said meekly causing Beth to giggle.

The boy then simply raises his hand above his head and begins to form a large red fire ball. Beth took note of the flame's extremely hot nature right before her partner sent it flying to the slow moving zombie type monsters, causing their flesh to burn and take damage, if they could speak they would be screaming right now.

The smell of burning flesh and skin was filling both of the kid's noses...

"Thanks for protecting me Romeo~" Beth teased causing the boy to cover his face as it was lighting up red again, making her giggle once more.

"Please don't." The dark purple haired boy said, trying his hardest to free him from the embarrassment.

"I can't help it, you looked so determined to save me ya got all serious, it was so cute." Beth said laughing sporting a soft blush.

Then, all of a sudden, like a switch, Romeo quickly beings to quietly smells the air.

Thanks to increasing his wisdom stat his senses have become much sharper, as he began to smell something, something he had smelled a while back when he killed all of those blackscales.

Blood.

Beth soon quit her laughter once she released Romeo stopped being embarrassed.

"Whats wrong?"

The boy didn't answer as he began to run deeper into the cave.

"H-Hey wait up!" Beth said doing her best to keep up.

Romeo keeps dashing through and through until eventually he comes across a large area in the cave, with a large crystal above on the ceiling providing the only source of light. However what he saw made him stop dead in his tracks. This caused the mermaid heel mage he was with to stop and crash into him and land on the floor right on her butt.

"Ooofh." Beth stated as she gets up and rubs her behind, "Hey what in tarnation is the big idea-"

The girl instantly lost her voice the minute she looked at what the dark haired purple boy was looking at.

On the ground there were dead bodies that littered it.

nine to be exact.

Five males and Four females.

All of them looked to be mages, some had armor while others had weapons, didn't matter in the end as they were all dead.

Their bodies were bleeding, and dismembered like something out of a sick killers imagination.

Beth saw on two all of their limbs have been severed clean off while the jaws were missing. On one of the females, her left breast has by savagely ripped off while her heart appeared to have been stabbed out. The two other females have been decapitated as their severed heads were now on stalagmites with the eyes rolled to the back of the head. Romeo looks to see one of the males has had his skin enterally cut off leaving nothing but muscle visible. I would explain the rest, however it would be best not to.

The Mermaid Heel mage proceeded to throw up a few feet away from Romeo, not being able to handle what she was seeing, and if wasn't for the boy's tranquil mind he would be in the same boat as she was.

"W-What h-h-happened?" The now terrified girl managed to get out before wiping the vomit off of the corner of her mouth.

"I don't know, but what I do know is that we aren't alone." Romeo said as the girl looks at him sacredly confused.

"W-What?" She asked

Before she could even react, the boy grabbed her hand and soon dashed quickly out the way as they were now in the center of the cave.

And just in time to, as monsters soon came down from the ceiling and surrounded the duo.

The creatures appeared to be about nine feet tall with a vulture-like head, a neck of crested feathers, and the body of a beetle, whose mottled gray, chitinous exoskeleton looked to be extremely thick and dense and covered with sharp studs. Instead of hands, paws, or claws, its front limbs ended in 12-inch-long razor-sharp, blade-like gray metallic hooks, surrounded by red feathers. Its legs were similar to those of a bird. Romeo looked at their eyes and saw they were multifaceted, like those of an insect.

Using his observation skill Romeo looked to see who these new foes actually were.

And just like that, both kids, rush toward the hoard of monsters.

Romeo quickly sidesteps a Hook horror who sent down one of his massive hooks to split the boy in two, making it fall clean past him and instantly land on the ground. The attacking monster soon found himself defenseless as Romeo quickly grabbed the top part of his beak right before ripping it clean off and slamming it right into the center of it's forehead.

Soon more hook horrors appears, having decided it would be better to attack as a group rather than one at a time, not that this deters the dark purple haired boy, as he forms five red fire balls in his palms before sending them at the creatures with amazing speed, injuring them greatly. Quickly Romeo holds out his hand and digitally manifest his fang blade.

After a while Romeo began to continuously kill Hook Horror after Hook Horror, turning to look at his partner, Beth was actually handling herself quite well. The young fairy tail mage even say the corpses of the monsters she killed off. "Wow, she really is stronger than she looks." Romeo couldn't help but think right before going back to his own fight. The remaining Hook Horrors decided that it was time to leave as they weren't going to win this fight against the surprisingly strong boy. But of course Romeo wasn't going to allow them to do that, he puts his dagger away back into his limitless inventory before he puts both of his hands out.

"BLUE FIRE BEAM!"

Both his palms shot long beams of pure blue flames right at the remaining creatures, who let out screams of pain once the feeling of coldest that they never felt before began to hit them, freezing all of them into ice statues. The Hook Horrors had the unfortunate timing of being in the air when Romeo did his attack which caused them all to land right onto the caves ground, shattering them all.

"Remaining huh?" Romeo thinks chuckling, "Guess Beth took care of the others."

The boy turns around and looks back at his partner... only to comically wide his eyes in surprise when he sees that she has now a huge pile of dead Hook Horrors, all of which were badly bruised and injured. The Farm girl giggles as she sees the look the boy's silly shocked face.

"Did I surprise you?" She asked with a small blush.

"I knew you were strong but damn." Romeo says to her before smiling, "Heh, it's kind of like me actually, many people would also underestimate me but then I also surprise them."

Romeo then grabs her hand, "Anyway, come lets look for any of the survivors."

Beth nods as she follows with him, both of them going deeper and deeper into the networks of caves.

"You know there is something that's been bothering me." Romeo stated, "I don't think the Hook Horrors were the ones that killed them."

"Huh, what do you mean?" Beth asked clearly confused.

"I mean the way they were killed doesn't seem to likely that it was the hook horrors back there." The boy begins to explain, "For one thing if it was them the Hook Horrors would have just eaten them all, they are omnivorous, not to mention I highly doubt one of them would be able to pick up a severed head and mount it somewhere."

The mermaid heel mage thinks over what the young boy was saying before her eyes widened out of fear, "W-Wait are you saying-"

"Yeah," Romeo nods as he had already guessed what she was thinking, "Something else is in here, and they aren't friendly."

However once they did they soon found themselves in a large room. The walls and ceiling were covered head to toe in spider webs, though what was most unusual was the very thing in front of them. It was the dead body of a giant spider, blood was all over it not to mention it's guts were spilled. The dead body was mounted on one of the walls.

But that wasn't what was unusual about it, oh no, what was unusual about it was the figure that was standing in front of the mounted carcass

In fact he looked super out of place for this kind of dungeon.

He was a Tall man looking to be in his late 20s. He is wearing a brown zip-up hoodie that's stained in blood, red pants, and black combat boots. His whole body is covered in bandages so nobody can see his skin at all. He has short black hair and has a case of heterochromia in his eyes, his left eye being light brown and his right eye being light orange. In his hands was a long black scythe. The man was looking at the two children with a sadistic look on his face.

Beth began to feel frightened as she noticed his gaze was more, leaving her shaking a bit. Romeo picked up on this and pulled his arm out in front of the country girl in a protective manner. The boy glared at the man before he used his observation skill on him.

"Who are you?" Romeo begins to ask even though he already knew.

"Oh me? Well my name is Zack, nice to meet you." The bandaged up man said in a fake happy-go-lucky tone.

"I can see that," Romeo said as he begins to ignite both of his hands with red flames. "What do you want with us?"

The boss of the dungeon smirked at this, "Well you see I don't belong here, I'm supposed to fulfil a job or something."

Both of the young mages looked at each other in confusion.

"A-And what would that be?" Beth asked still a bit shaken up about the scythe-wielding man.

"I... Don't remember." Zack answered, making the two even more confused than they already were, "All I do remember is that I wasn't originally from here, and I was brought into this cave network." He begins to explain before pointing to the mounted spider corpse behind him, "This thing was the boss around here, right before I saw someone kill it, and then I struck a deal with said person."

"Wait, what person who are you talking about?" Beth asked, right before she heard movement behind her.

She turned around to see what it could be.

CATCH!

The farm girl's eyes widen when she saw a dagger a mere inches from her face, almost touching it. Looking more at the arm that was holding it she saw Romeo's hand grab said arm. If the Fairy Tail mage hadn't done that in time, there was a good chance the weapon would have hit her. The dark purple haired boy soon throws the arm away from his partner as they both looked to see who was the one the arm belonged to.

It was a boy, around 16 years old. He has medium brown hair, dark skin, and brown eyes. He is approximately 178cm tall. He is wearing a white short-sleeved shirt with a black long-sleeved shirt underneath, and blue coveralls that are tied around his waist. He wears brown sneakers on his feet. In his hands was the dagger that almost killed Beth, he was staring at her with a crazed expression almost like the one Zack gave her before.

Romeo glares at the man, "Alright who the fuck are you?"

"You can call me, Firash." He said as he twirls his blade in his hands, "Whats your name?"

"B-Beth Vanderwood."

"Romeo Conbolt." The boy answered.

Unknown to all three of the humans, but upon hearing the dark purple haired boy's name, Zack's eyes flashed the color green and if one were to look inside of them, they would see 1s and 0s similar to that of code for a game... or a computer system.

"So I take it your the two that were sent here to try and find the missing members?"

"Thats right," the fairy tail mage begins to say. "And what do you know about them?"

The dark skinned man lets out a small, dark, chuckle. "Who do you think was the one who killed them?"

Romeo's eyes widen when he heard those words being uttered by the other boy's lips. However, when he was about to do something he could hear a familiar voice speak.

"Battle Zone"

Before she could even think, Beth saw Zack appear right above Romeo, grab his shoulder. This caused her and Firash to see that both of them were quickly engulfed in shadow. And just like that they were both gone.

The dark purple haired boy's eyes were filled with nothing but darkness, though this only lasted for a while before it went away and he was now seeing all white.

No, he was literally seeing all white, as the entire area was completely blank white, it seemed endless to.

Romeo landed on his own two feet as he jumped away from the boss before looking at him again.

"Where are we?" He asked before he summoned his blade.

With incredible speed Zack rushes toward the boy swing and bringing down his scythe at him. Romeo begins parrying all of them, and it was taking all he's got just to keep up with him. All of a sudden the bandaged man was surrounded by a crimson energy as a familiar Bing sound could be heard.

He begins laughing maniacally as his speed and power begins to increase immensely, the rpg mage was finding it much more difficult to actually keep up with parrying him.

"AUGHHHHHH!" Romeo screams as Zack managed to strike him in the shoulder with his scythe. He was thankful that his endurance stat was as high as it was, or he would have probably died right there. He managed to pull the scythe out before slashed Zack's stomach and sending a powerful punch toward his new wound, sending him back.

Romeo pants as he grabs his now bleeding shoulder, the system as already gone to repair his injuries. He then looks back at the monster man that he was just fighting. Zack was still looking at the young fairy tail mage the same way he was during when he brought him into this crazy area in the first place, in other words, he looked more monster than human.

"This is bad," Romeo thinks to himself as the wound has finally healed, and surprisingly enough so did his clothes then again this shirt was part of the system as well, "Something isn't right with him, it's like he lost his mind, or he's being controlled or something."

Evil, maniacal, laughter was all the mermaid heel mage could hear as she was busy dodging and blocking all of the attacks that were coming from Firash.

It was difficult to say the least, he was obviously stronger than him, no matter what she threw at him he was stronger and better in everyway. Firash himself even knew this, but he wasn't going to finish her off quickly, oh no he wanted her to suffer.

She had managed to stand far away from him as she was taking a stance to defend herself. Too bad it was all for not as, with great inhuman speed, he instantly closes the gap between them.

"Hahahahaha!" He laughs right before he plunges his dagger into Beth's leg.

The girl's eyes go wide before her screams of pain echo through out the caves.

"Yes yes yes! Keep screaming just like that!" The killer teen said as he wiggled the blade that was still lodged in her body, making her scream more. He grins as he pulled his blood stained weapon out as Beth covered up her wound trying to slow down the bleeding as much as she could.

"Oh man, he feels so good to kill again!" He shouts after he licks some of the blood off of his dagger.

Beth gained a frighten expression on her face as she witnessed this. "H-He's gonna slaughter me! I have to get out of here!"

Quickly activating her magic, she spawns edible seaweed over the cut area to help slow down the bleeding before he quickly stands up and tries to run away, though not fast enough because of her injury.

"Where the fuck do you think your going?" Firash asked in a low menacing tone as he appeared before Beth instantly as he kicks her into her stomach hard, enough to make him knock the air out of the girl, before lifting his leg up high and dropping it down on her back, making her fall to the ground hard.

"I was in the middle of speaking you damn bitch!" The maniac begins to violently kick the girl giving her bruises, "Don't fucking run away when I'm fucking speaking!"

He finished it off with a hard kick across her face sending her across the cave.

Firash then walks up to her with a fearsome expression on his face.

Beth could only look on in horror as this devil in human clothing, as she saw it, was getting closer and closer to her with each step.

She was praying to someone, Anyone, to just come and save her.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" Romeo says out loud as he sends a large slash towards Zack who dodges it. He had to get out of here! Not only would this create a bad wedge between Mermaid Heel and Fairy Tail, but he couldn't let Beth Die!

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Zack laughed as he puts his hand out as red energy began to come from it, "DEATH BEAM!"

The dark purple haired boy's eyes widen as four blasts of red energy came right at him at such an immense speed. Fortunately, he managed to dodge three of them, but one of them was coming in too quick for him to dodge. Thankfully he managed to make it hit his dagger instead, but now this became an strength test as he tried to keep the beam back with all his might, however he then simply used his dagger to redirect it to his side, escaping it once and for all.

BOOM!

Went the beams as they hit the background, forming large dust clouds. Fortunately for Romeo, this happened too far for it to effect the battle.

"Ok calm down Romeo," He thought to himself, "He lost all cognitive function, he's basically just lashing out at me without any clear plan or pattern. Since thats the case, I'm gonna have to use my new skill!"

"Scarlet Armament." Romeo's Fang Blade was then covered in burning hot red flames. The heat from was intense that much was clear to the boy. However he had no time for that as a bandaged, scythe wielding crazy man was running at him with nothing but the intent to kill in his eyes.

"DIE!" Zack screams as he raises up his weapon as high as he could before bringing it down hard onto the rpg mage. However fate wasn't on his side, as his target quickly grabbed the long weapon by the handle before it could even touch him, making it stop mere inches from his head.

Now not having to worry about that, Romeo dagger begins to glow with green energy combined with his red flames. He stares at Zack coldly,

"Don't worry your about to."

And before Zack could release it, he thrusted the glowing blade into his stomach, causing a hot blast of energy that combined with red flames on his blade, left a hole that let him see right through his torso!

SKILL: BLADE STRIKE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED

The boss could barely comprehend what just happened, but it's not like he had any time left to anyway. Reason being was that Romeo began to activate the skill again, this time he aimed the second one toward his left leg, completely incinerating it clean off and left nothing but a burning crisp on the area it were once locating on. However that wasn't the end of it, as Romeo delivered his third and final strike on his head, completely on destroying Zack's head escape for the bottom jaw!

It was at the moment that the boss's body finally dropped down, lifeless as he was finally killed.

Firash was standing there grinning, holding up a badly cut and beaten up Beth, who's eyes looked cloudy and dim as if she was on the verge of death itself. His dagger covered in her blood.

Romeo couldn't believe it, it was too late

"Thank you dear Beth." The manic said with both the voice and look of pure glee as he drops the critically injured girl down onto the cave floor , making her land on the ground with a loud thud. "For fulfilling my desires."

Laughter was the only thing Romeo could hear now.

Firash was thankful for his quick reflexes as he managed to block dagger aimed right at his high right before he pushed Romeo back, though the dark purple haired boy managed to land on his feet.

"You bastard!"

"Now Now, is that anyway to speak to one of the mages your trying to rescue." He asked in a teasing manner grinning menacingly.

"SHUT UP!" Romeo yells at him as he grits his teeth and dagger in rage, "Why, why did you do it? Beth, the other mages didn't they mean anything to you!?"

"No not really." Firash said as he looks at him smirking, "I just joined their guild as an excuse to kill people. Seriously, they were all so annoying, always talking about their problems, friends, and family. But now that I have this dungeon all to myself, I have basically a free room to forever kill anyone who enters. And now that you know about me, your not gonna go anywhere."

Romeo could sense the bloodlust coming from the killer, he didn't know if he was gonna make it out of here or not, but he did know one thing, he was gonna take him down with him.

And with that both the dark purple haired boy and the dark skinned psychopath quickly dashed toward each other.
