In this chapter…well, there's going to be fighting. But you can probably already tell based on the title. I tend to give people a hint of what to expect.
One can only hope Earth has been saved. I can't really continue the story if everyone's mind controlled.
But this isn't the first time Earth has ended up in peril, has it?
It was attacked by the Lorwardians once before.
There were also evil pharmacists, but they didn't spread too far.
Chapter 71: Fight to the Finish
Since the aliens threatened to mind control entire galaxies, Kim decided to bring the battlesuit for the mission.
It was suited for real emergencies. Like the time that Dr. Drakken had built that army of Diablo toys. Who would have thought that the toys at Bueno Nacho could transform into destructive mechas? Perhaps Wade shouldn't have kept one of them in his room.
Luckily, her battlesuit wasn't glitching at the moment. Wade had made sure of that. She didn't know what she would do without him. Though it had taken a while to coax him into leaving his room.
She was glad that he had repaired it, because if it suddenly glitched out in the middle of a mission, Kim Possible would end up in trouble.
"There sure are a lot of them. You think we can take them on?" asked Baljeet. Phineas and Ferb had come up with wonderful ideas, but it was on the fence as to whether they could take on an army or not.
"Well, the planet Earth is kind of counting on us." noted Isabella. If they didn't save the planet, then who would?
"If you make them excited enough, they'll explode. And for some reason, the explosion will sound like my name." explained Candace.
"In that case, maybe we should arm ourselves with something that will excite them." suggested Baljeet.
"I'll take care of that." said Phineas.
"Hey Atrosis, have you ever considered becoming one of the good guys?" asked Ron to his female adversary.
"One of the good guys, you say?" questioned Atrosis. That was an interesting thought. Her working for the heroes instead of the villains. Her life would certainly be different that way. She probably wouldn't be deflated as much.
She did work with Team Go once, after all.
Though it had only been temporary. After that, she went to work with Professor Dementor. He made her feel so happy. Especially since he allowed her to stay at his side despite the paperwork mix-up.
Perhaps she would visit Go City again sometime, assuming they succeeded in saving the world.
Ron nodded. It seemed like a good idea. Good being the key word.
"You have the charisma for it." noted the blonde boy. There was a reason why the professor liked having her around. She made executing his evil schemes so much easier. Though he was already ahead of Dr. Drakken to begin with.
"I could do that, but I don't want to abandon Professor Dementor." explained Atrosis. He was paying her through the roof these days. She was that helpful to him.
"Seems fair." nodded Rufus.
She was nothing but loyal to the professor.
Wasting no time, she went to fight the attacking aliens.
She enjoyed a good fight, and an alien invasion provided as good of a battle as any.
Fortunately for Atrosis, her ability to transform herself into a wrecking ball allowed her to topple the soldiers like dominoes.
She was simply too fast for them.
"Aargh!" screamed one of the soldiers. Just what exactly were they up against?
Her power might not be super speed, but she was still pretty agile.
"Oh snap!" exclaimed one of the soldiers.
It seems they weren't prepared to fight a supervillain.
Unsurprisingly, Atrosis was laughing like a maniac.
Personally, Professor Dementor found her laugh to be rather cute...like her face.
It was his opinion though.
"Run!" bellowed one of the soldiers.
Now they knew how a bowling pin felt.
And yes, Atrosis was striking them down.
As a side note, she did play bowling sometimes.
She had strong muscles, so she might as well.
Perhaps she would invite the professor to join her.
She did play chess with him after all.
"I sure am glad she's on my side." noted Professor Dementor. She could probably take on all of his men at once if she wanted to. Her rubbery body made her pretty resilient.
"I wish she was on my side." pouted Dr. Drakken.
"You already have a superpowered sidekick!" exclaimed the scientist with a helmet.
He was being greedy, if you asked him.
"Yes, but your sidekick is a hundred times more respectful." explained Kim's arch-foe.
Professor Dementor noted that maybe he was more fortunate than his archrival. After all, he had been defeated by Kim Possible less often than Dr. Drakken had.
Although, perhaps Shego's powers were more suited for specific situations.
Speaking of Shego, she wondered if she should enter the fray herself.
No point in letting her rival have all the fun. Though she questioned why she always laughed whenever she got into a fight with somebody.
Admittedly, when she tried fighting Warmonga all by herself, it hadn't ended well. But on the other hand, these minions didn't seem exactly as strong as she was.
She felt envious when she heard that Atrosis had taken down a Lorwardian all by herself. Though it was on the fence as to whether Conquesta had been as strong as Warmonga was.
Although, it seemed Atrosis could handle the army all by herself. She was a huge threat to Drakken's minions, after all.
Or could she?
One of the minions pulled out a dart gun.
He began shooting it at Atrosis.
This caused the wrecking ball to decrease in size.
"Huh. This seems to be effective." noted the soldier.
Perhaps he should tell the other soldiers about this.
She did inflate herself like a balloon, after all.
So deflating her seemed like the logical course of action.
"That might be a problem." thought Atrosis to herself. She remembered the time that Rufus had deflated her using his teeth. That probably wasn't going to work again given that she had built up a resistance to it, but prolonged exposure to sharp objects could do the trick.
And when that happened, the soldiers would suck out her free will like a sponge. She already knew where her loyalties lied. And it was to a professor, not an evil doctor.
Although, she did like to hang out with Dr. Drakken sometimes. Maybe because she sympathized with him. They say that his colleagues weren't nice, though they did have a point from time to time. He really shouldn't have treated the Bebe robots like objects.
After all, were they not capable of thinking for themselves?
It appears that the minions were adapting to her attack strategies.
Alien invaders had a tendency to be intelligent, hence the futuristic weaponry they intended to use.
Though it was on the fence as to why these aliens were always technologically more advanced than Earth.
Not all aliens were more advanced than humans, however.
Some were animalistic in nature.
Though these aliens didn't seem to appear so often.
Shego blasted the minion carrying the dart gun with her green plasma.
"Ouch!" exclaimed the servant of evil.
The Doctor was watching from inside her spaceship.
"I don't get it. Why can't they just relax and breathe in Mama's spores?" asked the Doctor.
It would put an end to the conflict on their planet. Everyone would be at peace.
It seemed some people just couldn't get along.
Although, this wasn't the first time that Earth had problems with evil dictators. Baljeet had read about them in his history books.
Stories regarding them wouldn't make for good bedtime stories, that's for sure.
"You think we should play the song "I Want It My Way?" asked Gill. He knew that both Camille and himself happened to enjoy that song.
Kim flashbacked to the time they were trapped in a net and being lowered in Gill's sludge. Who would have thought that Camille would accept Gill's gift of mutation?
It wasn't exactly a pleasant memory. It was surprising how strong Camille had become after becoming a mutant chameleon.
They were lucky that Phineas and Ferb had rescued them when they did. Otherwise, they would have fallen victim to Dr. Drakken's shampoo of doom.
"We're acting out of altruism at the moment. Though I will admit I do like that song." pointed out Camille.
The swamp monster noted to himself that was the case.
Right now they weren't being villains, but heroes.
That probably wasn't going to last, however. After all, both of them liked to bully people.
He decided to play "Quit Playing Games with My Head" instead.
"That's actually appropriate considering what are the alien invaders are trying to do." noted Camille.
Gill nodded.
"I just hope that Junior doesn't show up and start singing it." worried Shego. He was probably sunbathing at the moment like he usually was, but you never knew.
She got along with Junior, but his singing...needed work.
It was impressive how far he could leap though. He could give her a run for her money, to be honest. It was surprising that he hadn't leapt over the prison wall.
"Who would have thought they would invite each of the world's most evil criminals to see it?" questioned Dr. Drakken. He didn't like the way Junior paid attention to him during the song. Did he have something on his face?
At the very least, the concert included five members of Kim's rogues gallery as audience members. Perhaps they had done their homework on them. Though the song hadn't hurt DNAmy's ears.
"Nobody's placing me under mind control again!" exclaimed Shego as she blasted one of the minions.
"Ouch!" bellowed the minion.
He had to admit, Shego's powers were rather cool...so to speak.
"Who placed you under mind control?" asked Atrosis. She heard that Dr. Drakken's cranium rinse had ended up in her hair once. Though it hadn't been his intention.
"Dr. D did." explained the brunette. He snuck a mind control chip on her head while she wasn't looking. It was surprising how effective they were. Cyrus Bortel might actually succeed in taking over the world if he were interested in that.
"I guess he got tired of your bad attitude." noted the blonde. She knew that she had gotten tired of it herself.
"Being under mind control was so boring." remarked Shego. Though ironically enough, Phineas and Ferb had managed to find a dodo bird.
They could cross that off of their list. The list of cool things to do over the summer. Of course, that list expanded as they came up with new ideas.
"I remember the time that Professor Dementor was under mind control." recalled Atrosis. It was a rather interesting turn of events, being the one in charge for a change. Though she happened to be second-in-command to begin with. All of Dementors minions liked her, so it seemed like she was well-suited for the job.
Luckily, she managed to do rather well at concocting an evil scheme of her own. She had succeeded in kidnapping the mayor.
Shego wondered how Atrosis ended up in the inverse situation as her.
That had happened once before, like when Professor Dementor had a moodulator chip stuck to his face.
Baljeet and Buford shot a few of the soldiers with ice cream launchers.
"Yay! Ice cream!" cheered the minions.
Their torsos exploded.
"Huh. The explosion does sound like Candace." remarked Phineas.
Ferb nodded.
They followed by using T-Shirt launchers.
They read "I Conquered a Planet and I Got This Awesome T-Shirt!"
More soldiers exploded.
The minions pulled out laser blasters and started shooting.
However, Kim blocked the blasts with a force field.
Ron then hit the minions with his monkey power. Nobody was going to make a monkey out of him. That would be his personal nightmare.
"Oh no! We're losing!" exclaimed one of the minions. And to children, no less.
Well, not just children.
Suddenly, some UFOs released some dogs from their tractor beams.
"Yes! Reinforcements!" cheered the aforementioned soldier.
They had green skin.
And had glowing red eyes.
Long story short, they did not look friendly.
They could hear them snarling at their foes.
"What are they?" asked Baljeet.
"Not man's best friend, that's for sure." noted Buford.
"Or woman's." replied Isabella.
"Maybe they're Wardogs?" asked Kim.
Something told her that the Lorwardians had brought them there. They bore some resemblance to the hostile alien warriors.
Unsurprisingly, they were rather fast. And their teeth of theirs looked rather sharp. One could only hope that they didn't end up being used as a chew toy.
Shego had a hard time hitting them with her fireballs.
"Why don't they hold still?" asked the brunette woman. Things would be a lot easier for her that way, that was for sure.
Kim decided to give her adversary a hand.
Luckily, her super strength made taking on the mutts a lot easier.
"I remember ze time zat I tried making mutant dogs to help me take over ze world." noted Professor Dementor.
"You made mutant dogs? I made my poodle grow giant once. But it was an accident." replied Dr. Drakken.
Unfortunately, the invaders had more tricks up their sleeves.
They sent in some Battle Bats. They had orange fur and green eyes.
Their loud screeching was painful for their ears, to say the very least.
"First the Wardogs, and now this!" exclaimed Ron.
Rufus was forced to defend himself from the bats.
Contrary to what they might be thinking, these bats were not blind at all.
Though perhaps it helped to have echolocation abilities.
It seemed the invaders figured they would have an advantage if they sent flying adversaries.
At Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated...
Vanessa was watching the news.
The Lorwardians hadn't cut off Earth's electricity this time.
At least, not yet.
"It appears that Earth is being invaded again. This fanfic is starting to remind me of a sci-fi movie." remarked Vanessa.
Perhaps it had to do with the fact that Kim had faced off against no less than four mad scientists.
There were mutants in this fanfic as well.
"Ribbit?" asked Newt. Did Vanessa just break the fourth wall?
"Yes, I broke the fourth wall." admitted the goth.
Newt shrugged.
"Well, my dad already went to fight the alien invaders. Maybe I should join in as well." questioned Vanessa.
"Ribbit!" exclaimed Newt. Perry the Platypus could probably use his help.
There was only so much a single OWCA agent could do alone.
Though he seemed to be able to handle Dr. Doofenshmirtz all by himself.
Not his second dimension counterpart, of course. He had an army of robots. (For the sake of her comparison, first dimension Doofenshmirtz only had one robot). And he once had Perry the Platyborg on his side, who was the commander of his army. But his first dimension counterpart was fine.
Vanessa decided to look around for anything they could use against the aliens. She was well-aware of what her father had been building over the summer.
Although, Perry the Platypus had destroyed a lot of the inators. How many times had her father yelled "Curse you, Perry the Platypus!" anyway?
If she had a nickel for every time he had said that...
Vanessa noticed a portable version of her father's Gohome-inator. Perhaps it could be of some use in this sort of situation.
"Might as well send the aliens back the way they came." noted Vanessa.
Newt nodded.
That was a good idea.
Just in case, he would be going with her.
He was more suited for aquatic missions, but he still wanted to do whatever he could.
After all, he preferred having a mind of his own.
And he imagined his brother did too.
Speaking of which, how was he doing at Camp Wannaweep?
Perhaps it would be best to write him a letter.
But for now, he needed to work on saving the planet.
Earth needed all the help that it could get.
Especially given how much was at stake.
The Doctor wondered why Earth was making things difficult.
The citizens of Feebla-oot had surrendered so easily. Perhaps that was why they were known as Cowards.
But it seemed this planet wouldn't be as easy to conquer as Feebla-oot was.
These people stood up for themselves.
And of course, Kim Possible herself was defending the planet. They say that she had defeated a Lorwardian...though it wasn't necessarily by herself.
Luckily, she had an advantage she had which she didn't when she first invaded a planet.
Two Lorwardians with superhuman strength.
They were currently monitoring the action.
It was surprising how many heroes had come to defend the planet.
Although, not all of them were heroes.
It appeared that some of them were villains.
"It appears our soldiers are having difficulty dealing with the heroes that wish to save their planet." noted Conquesta.
They were anything if not persistent.
At this rate, they were going to run out of troops. They had brought a lot of troops with them, but it seemed that it wasn't enough.
Running out of soldiers would most likely complicate their mission of subjugating the planet.
Mama was growing in size, but they needed more time to finish growing the plant.
At this rate, the heroes could take out their entire army before Mama was at her full size. And then the plant would be vulnerable.
If Mama was destroyed, the Doctor would lose her control over her planet.
And that would be really bad news for her.
And of course, the Lorwardians would have to come up with other ways to conquer planets. Though they admittedly had come up with a lot of ideas over the years.
"Perhaps we should join the fray ourselves." suggested Conkerer.
They might be able to get the upper hand that way.
Of course, even if they didn't win, the heroes would still have to deal with the Doctor. And she herself was prepared for a fight. They knew because they had made sure of that.
So it seemed they might as well fight the heroes.
After all, was fighting not their speciality?
The Lorwardians prided themselves on their strength, being one of the strongest races in the entire galaxy. Though the duo would be careful not to meet the same fate as Warmonga and Warhok did. They were prepared for Ron's mystical monkey power, at least.
Warmonga and Warhok hadn't been prepared for the mystical monkey power, however.
Besides, if the heroes wilted Mama, their plan was over. Though they did have a backup plan, which was to simply call in their army.
So it would be best if they protected the plant.
After the duo grabbed their weapons, thy descended from the spaceship through a familiar tractor team.
"Uh-oh." remarked Rufus.
It looked like the two Lorwardian warriors had decided to enter the fray themselves.
They knew they could handle the Doctor's army of soldiers, but could they defeat her Lorwardian sidekicks?
They could only hope.
After all, was the entire planet not counting on them? Possibly other planets as well.
Unfortunately, Ron knew from experience his mystical monkey power wasn't working to work.
Not by itself, anyway.
"I hope you make things interesting for us." spoke Conquesta.
I guess we'll have to wait and see who wins this. Our heroes have the upper hand at the moment, but that's subject to change.
I imagine you're rooting for the heroes…they've recruited some villains to join their cause, however.
After all, Super Super Big Doctor is a serious threat. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
If she succeeds in conquering Earth, any planet could be next.
And yes, that includes Meap's planet.
