Now then, onto the Chapter!

"It seems I was running a bit late" Said Izuku, entering the room where All-Might, NightEye, and the ever so energetic Mirio Togata sat, presumably conversing about All-Might's search for a successor, and Mirio's candidacy for the position. "There was no one at the front desk so I invited myself in. Did Centipeder go on a vacation or something?"

Ignoring the three sets of eyes now directed towards him, Izuku's gaze wondered to the other side of the room where the greenette's eyes met the figure of one blue skinned Sidekick, code named: Bubble Girl, strapped to a rather eccentric torture device. Or as NightEye called it: The Humor correction Device.

Izuku gave NightEye a cold pointed glare that sent shivers down the spines of everyone present. "When will you realize that torturing people to be funnier is about as effective as whipping a fish to make it climb a tree, Mirai?" He said walking towards the Humor Correction Device and freeing the Bubblegum heroine from it.

"Until you present a better alternative, Midoriya, then I will proceed to continue with this method to encourage my sidekicks to learn how to emit a more positive energy like All-Might and Mirio does."

Izuku raised an eyebrow whiles laying the tortured heroine on a couch. "Then why the hell aren't You ever in that thing?"

Mirio and Bubble Girl's eyes lit up at the idea, as they began looking mischievously at the foresight hero.

"You two... Don't. you. Dare." NightEye threatened with a glare and an eye twitch. "And as for you Midoriya. I'll have you know I Can be Quite funny when the situation calls for it"

Izuku looked inquisitively at All-Might for an answer, who in turn just stared at nothing with an absent look on his face.

"Hey um...All-Migh-?" Izuku started, only to be interrupted by the Number 1 hero's sudden return to Reality.

"Since when did you two Know each other?!"

The bespectacled Hero and the greenette looked at each other before looking back at All-Might.

"Yes"

All-Might was only thrown further into confusion.

"Well...Since you're here to evaluate both candidates, you might as well see what both of them can do, right?" Izuku gave the number 1 hero a cheeky grinn.

NightEye raised an Eyebrow at this. "Both?"

"Wait..." Mirio said absently, before the entire room shifted their gaze at him. Ignoring the attention, the young blonde immediately perked up as he finished processing the information and put two and two together. "I get to spar with Deku-sensei!" He said excitedly.

"Are you sure about this, Mirai?" Asked All-Might as they gazed down at the training room where his two successor candidates stood face to face.

"Izuku knows everything about Mirio's fighting styles, quirk usage, mindset and special moves. It would simply be unfair if Mirio wasn't allowed to go all out with all the disadvantages he already has. Bissides...He wouldn't stand a chance without it." The clairvoyant hero stated as fact.

"So...since when'd you two-" Started All-Might, only to be interrupted by his once Sidekick already answering his unspoken question.

"It was almost 4 years ago, when I met a tall, buff woman who seemed to be a female replica of you, and a skinny and unhealthily pale and rugged greenette on an All-Might convention..." Mairai started, it was his turn to look down at his student and friend as they conversed and stretched before the spar.

"When I met him, he was small, had tired eyes, he shrank into himself and his body was covered in several thick layered bandages, but he had a certain equanimous ura around him, he was alert, ready to react at any sign of danger, his eyes already having been scanning potential exit routesand weapons he could use, hence why it wasn't a surprise when the tall, buff woman I mentioned earlier instantly fell and found herself on the floor less than a second after accidentally bumped into him."

"He already knew how to fight?" Inquired All-Might.

NightEye shook his head. "No. But Apparently he already had experience dealing with people bigger and stronger than him." He said with a Shrug. "Anyways, being the hero fanboy that he was, he ended up shouting out loud the woman's hero identity during his apology after recognizing her in front of the crowd of All-Might fans who then proceeded to engulf the two."

NightEye stopped for a second before pressing a button and speaking through a mic before him. All-Might only waited in silence, trusting his once Sidekick to continue once the match between his successor candidates began.

"You boys Ready?" NightEye asked. The two boys looking at each other before simultaneously giving him a nod. "Very well then...You may begin"

As the two aspiring heroes began to exchange their first blows and some barbs (tho that was mainly Izuku) with each other, NightEye resumed telling his tale without taking his eyes off the sparring children. "As I was saying, after the two were engulfed by the flock of raging All-Might and hero fans who wanted to meet the out of costume heroine, I was called to the scene to restore public order."

"That wasn't a coincidence, was it" All-Might asked knowingly. A cheeky grinn on his face.

"Well, it was an All-Might convention." NightEye bashfully answered. "Of course I'd be patrolling in the vicinity."

All-Might let out a loud laugh his old friend's embarrassment.

"Anyways, After dispersing the crowd, my eyes fell on the boy. At first, I thought that the rampaging crowd had caused his bruised and battered state, but upon closer inspection it became clear that the boy's ragged state was from a daily occurrence of beating. My first thoughts were bullying or house abuse, however, the boy quickly corrected me saying that there was a difference between getting Bullied, and participating in figths in order to send a message."

"Wah?... how does that?..." Tried to ask All-Might, Perplexed at what he just heard.

NightEye chuckled at his friend's reaction. "Yeah, I thought the same too." He said. "I didn't really understand his reasoning at the moment, but then he told me that not fighting back when people pick on you will only encourage them to continue doing so due to the lack of consequences to their actions." A true statement. He smiled reminiscing at the memory of an 11 year old lecturing 2 Pro heroes about their common friend's influence on society. "He even likened it to your influence on villains. However, it seems that all his method was doing was getting him beaten down at the moment."

"So you thought him how to fight?"

"Of course not!"

All-Might nodded in understanding. "Yeah. That would've been irresponsible. Investigating his school and home life would've been-"

"The woman Did"

Next Monday, DEKU vs MIRIO!

Tho, don't expect Mirio to be on the same level as his first introduction in the anime, since feom what we know he only got that strong after his internship with NightEye, so he is yet to become the powerhouse that is Lemillion
